Working with Deanna and Grant Harrison of Harrison Films was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we met them, they took the time to truly get to know us—not just us as a couple, but our whole family. They made an effort to learn who our closest friends and relatives were, and because of that, the way they highlighted them throughout our films felt so thoughtful, personal, and meaningful.
Deanna and Grant have a gift for making everyone around them feel completely comfortable. On a weekend that can often feel chaotic, they brought such calm, warm, positive energy. Our guests adored them, and we felt like we were in the most capable, caring hands!
And the videos… absolutely incredible. Our short reel and our full-length film were beyond anything we could have imagined. They didn’t just document our wedding—they told the story of us as a couple and captured the entire feeling of our wedding weekend with stunning detail and emotion. We cried watching them (multiple times!) because the films were so beautifully edited, so heartfelt, and so us. It’s clear they spent months perfecting every single moment.
We will cherish these videos for the rest of our lives. If you’re considering a wedding videographer, look no further. We could not recommend Harrison Films more! -

From the moment we received the preview on our honeymoon, we were completely speechless. We literally gasped and said, *OMG, this was OUR wedding!!* The way Harrison Films captured our day—every emotion, every moment—was beyond anything our own eyes could take in. It felt like reliving the best day of our lives.
Our wedding was our favorite, most perfect day, and Harrison Films didn’t just document it—they translated it into an absolute work of art. You might think, *how could they possibly make this day any better?* And then the film arrives, and you’re like, *holy shit. That’s ours.* We’ve been watching it on repeat, completely in awe of their storytelling, their attention to detail, and the way they captured the essence of *us.*
Every time we watch our wedding film, I can’t help but cry happy tears. It’s so real, so authentic—like watching a dream unfold. Their use of color, their impeccable audio quality, the way they made us feel like we were stepping back into that exact moment… just *wow.* Max and I keep saying, *this is what our wedding looked like?!* Seeing it from their lens is such a gift.

If you are getting married, book Harrison Films immediately!! I first reached out to Grant and Deanna well before they opened their books for our wedding date, and I got an email back right away with information about their different packages and where we might go from there. Soon enough, we scheduled a video call and having absolutely no clue what to ask or how the process worked, we were feeling nervous. But upon meeting Grant and Deanna, my husband and I immediately felt as if we'd known them for a long time. They asked us questions about what we envisioned for our wedding video, and answered all of our questions. We felt so comfortable and connected to them that we decided to book right away. It was the best decision we made for our wedding, hands down. All along the way Grant and Deanna supported us in planning and created a wedding timeline for us, so by the time the wedding day arrived it felt like we'd been friends for a long time. Only a few short days after the wedding, they already put together a highlights reel for us and we were astounded at the quality of the video and excited to see the rest! The full video library we received transported us back to our wedding day. Grant and Deanna had captured everything we imagined and more, and we are so grateful to have this gorgeous film to look back on with our loved ones and family. It was clear that they put an incredible amount of time, energy, care, and love into each one of their videos, and we will never forget the beauty of these people or their work. Having Grant and Deanna capture your wedding will be the best decision you ever make. -

If you're looking at Harrison Films, Deanna & Grant are 100% worth every penny!!! We received our preview film and main events library, and everything was absolutely beautiful! They captured the day so perfectly and it was such a joy to get to experience it all over again, especially since the day itself felt like a blur. Deanna & Grant were fabulous to work with - professional, talented, fun, and all-around lovely - and we appreciate everything they did to make the day so spectacular (including allowing us to relive it over and over through their videos)! We can't begin to explain how amazing it was to work with Deanna & Grant. From our introductory call 2 years before our wedding through our engagement process and ultimately to our wedding day, Deanna & Grant quickly became friends of ours and made us feel so comfortable with them.
We knew they would be a pleasure to work with but far surpassed our wildest expectations on our wedding day. From the second they arrived they fit perfectly into our day and made it feel like they were family capturing moments from our big day.
Within a week of our wedding we received a custom preview film which we loved watching on our honeymoon and was such an amazing surprise. The preview film was so well done that friends and family thought it was our full wedding film.
Receiving our full wedding film this past month instantly brought all of the emotions from our wedding day back. The two of us watched the film over and over and couldn't believe how they captured all of the best moments from our day and blended them into a story line that is timeless and heart warming.
We couldn't be any happier with our decision to work with Harrison Films and the content they created for us will last a lifetime. -

If you're looking at this review, I'm sure you've seen some of Deanna and Grant's films by now and are just looking for the reassurance that it's "worth it". The answer to that question is 110% (x2). Deanna and Grant perfectly captured our day and have given us living memories of the ones we love most to cherish forever. We had a very small ceremony with immediate family and realized pictures just couldn't bring the warmth of seeing a hug from grandpa light up the screen. Deanna and Grant captured this beautifully. Dad was hesitant at first, but I can absolutely tell you (and he'd agree), this isn't your parent's camcorder wedding video! Harrison Films will work their magic to the point where you will find yourself laughing, crying, grinning from ear to ear, and feeling like you're back in that wonderful day (and that's just the emotions from the 1-minute preview!) Aside from their amazing productions, Deanna and Grant are wedding experts and can help you iron out all the details leading up to your big day seamlessly. If you've ever wanted to bottle up a moment, a feeling, a memory, you won't want to pass on adding these two to your vendor crew for your big day. -

Deanna and Grant are absolutely amazing to work with. We got married in 2018 and not only do we talk about our experience with them all the time but we still keep in touch and consider them friends. We were originally a bit indecisive on whether we would hire videographers for our day and looking back now it’s the best decision we ever made. We look back on our beautiful wedding video constantly and cry every single time. The day went by so fast, we felt so lucky to have the gorgeous videos to look back on when it was all over. They captured our day beautifully and made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. They are so kind and easy to work with and most importantly they are just genuine and authentic. They love what they do, are FANTASTIC at what they do and will make sure you have the best memories of your big day. Our wedding ceremony was planned to be outdoors and it ended up being the rainiest day of the entire season. Deanna and Grant were constant sources of positivity throughout the entire day, they were flexible and creative and captured the beauty and love of the day despite the unpredictable weather. We couldn’t possibly say enough about how wonderful they are and would recommend them over and over again. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to work with Harrison Films! -

Deanna and Grant Harrison are magic! The visuals and sound of the product speak for themselves. Deanna and Grant are filmmakers and artists. The product is so much more than a recording of the day. What they create is far beyond a video. They are so skilled at understanding the couple’s essence and telling that story.
The Harrison’s became a part of our family for the weekend. They don’t feel like strangers. We feel closer than a client/vendor relationship. They make you feel so comfortable and the result is a true reflection of the intimacy of your day. Their piece of art feels like a love letter to us as a couple. One of the best decisions was to work with the Harrison’s. -

Deanna & Grant are truly creative professionals in every sense of the word. From start to finish, they went above and beyond what one might expect from a videographer, going the extra mile to really get to know us and our relationship on a deeper level. We knew we were going to have an amazing video, but what we didn't know was that we'd gain a beautiful friendship out of the deal! I will start by saying that I spent a LONG TIME searching for the right wedding videographer. I watched many films, compared styles, prices, packages, social media accounts, etc before deciding on Deanna and Grant of Harrison Films. They are BY FAR the dreamiest dream team you could ask for to capture your special day. First off, they are so responsive and helpful in the planning process. Our initial contact with them was friendly, professional, and fast. My now-husband and I are very introverted people who are a little more reserved and film-shy than your usual couple. Deanna and Grant put us at ease right away and really took the time to get to know us, our story, and our vision for our wedding. They were so communicative with our photographer and planner and they even helped us figure out our timeline for the day. Their wedding day package is such a good investment and includes so much more than most of the videographers I looked at, such as no time constraints (no having to pay for extra hours, hello!) and a minute long "sneak peek" to put on social media and to relive our day before we even left for our honeymoon. Then, there was the day of. Deanna and Grant are so unobtrusive, professional, friendly, and passionate. They work seamlessly together and with other vendors. Again, my husband and I are fairly camera shy but they quickly got a feel for who we are and put us at such ease. Finally, THE FILM! The FILM! First, Deanna and Grant made a point to find out when we were going on our honeymoon and they made sure that we got a little minute long film before we even left. My husband literally cried when we watched it. What a precious gift! While they were working on our film, they kept us updated and let us know when they were getting into the hard-core editing process. I have heard from my friends who have used other wedding videographers that they have radio silence from the wedding until the final film, which was not our experience at all. We really appreciated that! When we got our final film and edits, I was floored. Deanna and Grant truly captured the essence of our relationship and our story in our film. It was not just a cookie-cutter wedding film. They really got to know us and see what was important to us and somehow looked through all those hours of footage to find the parts that would speak to the core of our love story. This team is amazing for many reasons, but to me the most wonderful thing about them is the ability and talent to really see their couples for who they are and the passion and hard work they put into bringing that story to a film. Our film is truly unique to us and I am so grateful that we have it to show our friends, family, and future children. In addition to a beautiful film, we also got edits of all of our toasts, first dance, parent dances, ceremony, and letters we read to each other. We were able to show these to family members who could not attend the wedding and even just as a couple to remember our special day. It goes by so fast, it is such a precious thing to be able to go back and relive our best day. Choosing Harrison Films to create our wedding film was by far one of the best investments we made during this planning process, and I cannot recommend them enough. -

Where to begin... Deanna and Grant were a breath of fresh air to work with. My husband and I had a very small intimate ceremony at my uncle's farm. We asked Deanna and Grant to stay the weekend and enjoy it with us to capture every moment because we really didnt have a plan (who doesn't have a plan for their wedding??...this girl) but from the get go and throughout the weekend, they helped us plan, create and bring together the most amazing weekend I could have ever dreamed of. Their spirits just radiate with energy, love and a whole lot of fun. This couple share their passion, talent and love of weddings by truly living in those "special" moments right there with you. I can not thank these two enough for their flexibility, their willingness to get involved and really be a part of your day, and the comfort they bring as a duo to capture each moment. Hiring Deanna and Grant was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made! They are so personable, easy to work with, and are absolutely incredible at what they do. It's so hard to write just how AMAZING my experience was with both Grant and Deanna on my wedding day. I knew i needed a videographer, but I didn't realize that they would be the ones to truly make my wedding day. Their was some tension on my day, yet Deanna and Grant knew just what to do, they led me through so many things (videographer unrelated) and I just could not be more thankful. Both Deanna and Grant make you feel as though you have known them both your whole life, they make you feel so comfortable and are able to film integral moments of your special day and capture them just perfectly. I truly am forever grateful and can not tell you how many times i have watched our 1 min teaser. It is just beautiful. This dynamic duo is so incredible at their craft and I would recommend them to EVERY bride - you truly will gain an unbelievable experience and an unbelievable film to last a lifetime..THANK YOU SO MUCH!! -

I cannot even express how happy we are to have booked Harrison Films for our wedding!! Before finding them, I was really hesitant about getting a videographer and debated if it was worth the money. I went back and forth before eventually deciding it would be nice to have a video to remember the day. After looking at a bunch of their example videos of other weddings on their website, I had a FaceTime call with Deanna and instantly knew I wanted to hire them.
From the start Deanna and Grant were incredibly nice, easy to work with, and helpful. Before the wedding day we went over the schedule and Deanna even created a google doc of the timeline for the entire day that I ended up using to share with all my vendors (photographer, band, etc). On the wedding day, they did an amazing job taking care of everything. They arrived early, helped keep us on schedule so that I never had to worry about the time, and ensured it was an easy, non-stressful day! We wanted to do our first look at the Jefferson memorial because that’s where we got engaged. Little did we know, it was under an insane amount of construction. Somehow, Grant and Deanna found the perfect spots for us to still have our first look and other pictures at the memorial while avoiding all the construction. They stayed the entire night and captured everything and we never had to worry about our time running out with them. Our wedding was Saturday night and by Monday morning they had already sent us a one minute preview video and it is beyond anything I imagined. It is so beautifully edited and I literally cannot wait to see the highlight and main event videos. Without even seeing the other videos yet, I know that hiring them was worth every single penny. Even before seeing the preview, on the day of my wedding I was so grateful to have them there and said multiple times to my (now) husband how happy I was to have hired them. If you are going to have a videographer (and trust me, you should) hire Harrison Films. -

Hiring Deana and Grant as our videographer was one of the best decisions we've made for our wedding. Not only are they extremely talented in what they do, they are also very kindhearted and patient. We have only received our wedding preview video, but within that short minute, we could feel all the overwhelming love we felt on our wedding day. That's how amazing they are! I can't imagine what magic they'll bring in our full video, but I have absolutely NO DOUBT, we will be blown away. And that's the type of videographer you should hire, one that you can fully trust like Harrison Films. Love you guys, and thank you forever for being a part of our day. -

What can i say about Harrison Films? Honestly? Plenty! My husband and I saw some of their work online and knew immediately they were a perfect fit. The only thing we needed to know was, were the videographers our type of people as well as talented professionals. And wouldn’t you know? After our first Skype meeting, my husband and I became friends with Grant and Deanna within moments. They are young, talented and beautiful souls and they held our big day in the highest regard.
They took our vision of the night and made it cinematic. We felt like movie stars. They captured every nuance and every big moment of the night. If you’ve seen ANY of their videos, you can tell they are the best at what they do, hands down. I would recommend Harrison Films to everyone and anyone who is having a wedding in the future. You’ll be in VERY good hands. We absolutely loved the experience with these two beautiful people!

Guys. I mean it...this was the best vendor decision that we made for our entire wedding, and we had a PERFECT vendor team! Right from the beginning, it was so clear how dedicated Deanna and Grant are. They were extremely responsive to any questions that I had and were quick to offer suggestions and advice for anything that we came to them with. By the time our wedding date rolled around, Deanna and Grant felt like our friends who came to be with us while we got ready to walk down the aisle! They are so skilled at what they do--they are SO unobtrusive, but get incredible shots! I am not someone who is used to being photographed or taped at all, but I was made to feel so comfortable-and I love the product! I used to be skeptical about having a videographer, but after our products from Harrison Films I will say it--this is so much more valuable than even our wedding photos (that I adore). All of our memories came flooding back after seeing all of our videos! This is worth every penny and then some. If ten stars were an option, I would give them!!!! If you get anything for your wedding, make sure it is Deanna and Grant at Harrison Films!!! -

Deanna and Grant were such a pleasure to work with. They're such kind and talented people. I reached out to them after watching their videos on Facebook to see if they would do our wedding on Long Island, despite the fact that they're based out of DC. I was so happy when they responded that they'd gladly travel up. We had two planning video chats as well as countless emails during the planning process to make sure the day of went smoothly. They really cared about what was important to us and made sure to capture those moments. On the day of they worked well with our photographer and day-of-coordinator. They stayed until the very end of the wedding (mind you we had a multi-cultural wedding that was 14+ hours long) to capture every moment. I can't thank them enough. Working with Deana and Grant was a total dream. They traveled out to Nantucket to shoot our intimate wedding and quickly became part of the family. I so appreciated their humor, compassion and amazing ability to flow with the craziness. The whole process felt so organic and natural which made the final film feel so real. They captured our favorite moments and the moments that you miss because your day is a blur. The first time I watched our final film I started crying within 10 seconds. If I had to give any future bride one piece of advice in terms of investments worth the money I would say work with Deanna and Grant. I love our photos to death, but the video brings us back to that day so vividly it’s such a treasure. Thank you!
