Harris Academy provided a cello/piano duet for our reception and it couldn’t have been better in any way. The music was moving and set the perfect tone for our relaxing, low-key, classy wedding reception. Guests commented throughout the evening that they loved the song selection and arrangements. They were so easy to work with, I had to do barely anything and they provided the perfect outcome. I would highly recommend!!

Harris Academy's music made my wedding perfect!

My one "must-have" for my formal morning wedding was a live string quartet. Vicki and the other musician's performance exceeded my expectations - the quality and selection of music was beautiful and perfect! The processional music was moving and personal, and the music during the prelude and reception was the perfect elegant backdrop. I planned my Nebraska wedding remotely from Denver. Vicki was in constant communication with me, reassuring me, during the planning. In the end - I could not have been happier. My guests all commented on what a beautiful touch the music added to this special day.

Harris Academy- Wedding music

Harris Academy was fantastic from start to finish of working with them! The musicians were really fabulous at our wedding, we had a pianist and violin and they were both awesome. Harris was really easy to work with and communicated throughout the entire process. Would definitely use them again!

Absolute Perfection!

We had a string quartet for our wedding ceremony and it was beyond perfect! The musicians were AMAZING, and we received so many compliments on our music. Staff at Harris were extremely pleasant and easy to work with. We shared our vision and requests and they executed both perfectly! I would absolutely recommend them as it was a beautiful experience and we are so happy we chose to use them!

My daughter and I planned a wedding in Nebraska City, NE, from south Florida and Alabama; not an easy task. Harris Academy was listed on the venue's "Vendor List" and we could not have been more pleased with our selection. The staff was so professional, organized, pleasant to work with, and understood our requests. The guitarist arrived on time; he played as the guests were being seated and during the cocktail hour; and he was so talented and enjoyed by all. We highly recommend Harris Academy of the Arts for your musical needs.

Harris Academy did an amazing job. They played the violin and the piano (a really lovely combination)! I was able to listen in around the corner as they played some of my choices during the prelude. It was beautiful! They played "How Beautiful" by Twila Paris as I walked down the aisle. Wow! It set the mood and created this incredible moment that I will never forget. The people at Harris Academy are really wonderful people and took really great care of me! I would whole heartedly recommend them!

Such a great business to work with, very professional and organized! They were able to get a string quartet together in about a month for my wedding. The strings sounded amazing during the ceremony and dinner and I got so many compliments!! Thank you so much for making my day so special!

Harris Academy of the Arts was spectacular! My husband and I had a vision for the sounds of our wedding and all of the songs we requested became a reality! We had one song in particular that was not a current song in their arsenal and Olivia was able to find sheet music for the song therefore being able to bring our musical dreams to life (and save us the cost of having to have one of the talented musicians create sheet music)! The pianist also accompanied a soloist and was able to provide practice music ahead of time so that the pair performed flawlessly at the event! We had the violin/piano combo. I highly recommend adding professional musicians to your event, you will not regret it!

Olivia & Vicki from Harris Academy of the Arts were absolutely fabulous to work with! Olivia was only on day 6 of the job, but based on her organization & level of preparedness for the meeting, you would’ve sworn she’d been at it for years! Both ladies made the entire process seamless and extremely enjoyable! They broke down each part of the ceremony and we discussed our vision for each segment as they made suggestions if we weren’t quite sure. They never once laughed at my extreme love for any and all Disney songs, and were actually very excited about incorporating them into our ceremony. The ladies met with us at 7:30pm on a school night as to accommodate our busy schedules and did not rush the appointment even though it was such a late one. The Harris Academy of the Arts has a whimsical and fun atmosphere; pianos were playing the background of our appointment which just helped to set the scene for our meeting. Then the ladies themselves being extremely helpful, knowledgeable & sweet, made it all picture perfect!! They made our ceremony sound absolutely amazing!! It truly helped tie everything for our special day together!! It sounded absolutely beautiful and set the elegant tone (pun intended) for our ceremony.

I had a piano/violin duet for my ceremony, and a string quartet for the dinner hour of my reception. The music was phenomenal and beautiful and everything I imagined it would be! The musicians were accommodating to specific pieces - my fiance (now husband) composed our processional and recessional, and they gladly learned the new pieces for the ceremony. The staff at Harris are all a breeze to work with and help out every step of the way all the way up to the big day! I'm still getting compliments on the music. You can't go wrong hiring musicians from Harris Academy of the Arts - they will only enhance your special day! Thank you!

We worked with Sydney and Olivia at Harris Academy to hire a pianist and violinist for our October wedding. Both of them were wonderful to work with - very responsive and helpful. Our musicians were amazing and even learned some new pieces my dad had requested to be played during the prelude. I highly recommend Harris Academy!

Harris Academy was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. I found them through a bridal fair and contacted them shortly after. Sydney was quick to respond and kindly answered all of my questions during my planning. We hired a pianist to play at our ceremony. She came to our rehearsal to run through our unity song with one of my bridesmaids who was singing a solo. I was very happy with how our ceremony music turned out and loved hearing everything we picked as I was waiting to walk down the aisle. I would highly recommend Harris Academy musicians!

The musicians were very professional and provided beautiful music at our reception. They added a unique element that helped to make our day memorable. Sydney was very nice to work with, providing suggestions and price quotes and answering all questions quickly. They were also very accommodating when I needed to make a change in time. I also appreciated the chance to listen to music samples online to determine the type of ensemble I wanted. I would definitely recommend Harris Academy of the Arts.

Harris Academy is wonderful! I was planning my wedding from more than 1,000 miles away, and finding musicians was one thing that was stressing me out. Of course I realized all the stressing was unnecessary once I got in touch with Harris Academy. Vicki and Sydney were so gracious and professional, and put me at ease instantly. We had a pianist and a violinist at our ceremony, and the music was perfect. The music was the touch that made the ceremony more beautiful than I ever imagined. For the rest of the night, so many of our guests commented on how beautiful the music was.

HA did an amazing job at our wedding. Throughout the whole process they were easy to work with and accommodating. We had the piano violin combo and they sounded beautiful. Even the day of the wedding when we needed to add a last minute song during the presentation of roses to the parents, they were amazing and picked a beautiful one to play even though it was last minute. The musicians were so friendly too! I highly recommend them!

Harris Academy was great. We got the Voice, violin and piano trio and it couldn't have been any better. The singers voice was wonderful and the piano and violin were excellent. They played for our reception and ceremony. There were songs we chose they didn't have but they got te music and played it better than I could have imagined. Tons of compliments on our music and musicians. I would recommend Harris academy 100 times over. Thank you so much Harris Academy.

I was scrambling last minute to book musicians for my wedding ceremony and HAA took good care of us. Sydney got us quotes for a different number of musicians and we ended up hiring a pianist & cellist. She was so informative, detailed, patient, and professional. I'm not the easiest person to work with and she made our process so smooth & kept right on top of things. The musicians were the best! They were flexible when it came to rehearsing with my singers, dressed up in suits, & played beautifully! It was like having our own personal concert at our wedding. If you want live music for an event, I highly recommend HAA.

The Harris Academy made our wedding ceremony so special. They are so talented, and a great price! They played our special request songs flawlessly, I cannot go on enough about how much we loved having them play at our wedding. Working with Harris Academy was an absolute joy--we could count on Sydney to make sure that all of our questions were answered in full. We weren't sure which music that we wanted played besides the processional and they gave us ideas and helped us figure out exactly which pieces to have played. The experience at the ceremony was perfect--there was even an unexpected hiccup when the piano that was supposed to be played wasn't where it was supposed to be, and the musicians were gracious and patient while things were worked out. The processional went beautifully! We picked Claire de Lune by Claude Debussy to be played as a piano/cello duet, and it was absolutely stunning. It was exactly what I had pictured in my head, and the musicians discreetly ended the piece when I arrived at the front of the church in a way that seemed like it was supposed to end there. We can't extol the virtues of our experience enough, we're so grateful to them for making the music of our day everything we had ever dreamed of. Thank you!

We had an outdoor ceremony and what more perfect way to listen to music than with a violin. Our violinist from Harris Academy was fantastic! It was just gorgeous to listen to and very different from the other weddings I have been do. They are easy to get ahold of and easy to work with. They will try to play any song that you request and if they can't make it sound right they will let you know.

There is no comparison to live music. Harris provided a violin, trumpet and piano to play exactly what my daughter wanted for her wedding prelude, ceremony and postlude. The worked with her to pick her favorites and played them just like she wanted. Disney classics were absolutely beautiful and when the UP theme played for the ceremony, it was absolutely magical. Live music is a must and Harris was amazing.

Vicki was so incredibly helpful in every meeting that we had with her! I was stressing about all wedding details and was overwhelmed with ceremony music choices. The nice people at Harris gave me a brochure with typical ceremony music depending on the type of wedding. I was able to use YouTube to listen to how the music sounded on the violin and it made choosing so much easier!! When I met with Vicki again to go over our choices she was so supportive of the music choices and told us she had it all handled and to not worry about it! I definitely believed her because we could tell she was very professional and knew what she was doing. Her music was so beautiful for our ceremony and everything went so smoothly!! Thank you Vicki and HAA!!

We could not have been more pleased with the two musicians that played at the wedding. The music was BEAUTIFUL and worth every penny!
Both the musicians (violin and flute) were talented, skilled and flawless in their performance.
They arrived early as scheduled, set up quickly and started playing and the music filled the chapel and drifted outside through the windows and open doors.
I didn’t get a chance to thank them when the ceremony was over, because there was so much going on. I hope they read this and know how very grateful we are that they were part of our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. You were both outstanding talented, skilled professionals in every way. You added more beauty to an already beautiful day. Thank you!

This Vendor was very easy to work with. They provided me with outstanding customer service, were always responsive and they were willing to answer any of my questions. The musicians were also willing to learn several special songs that were not already in their repertoire. Everyone that worked with me went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The Harris Academy string quartet was amazing at our wedding! They were flexible, tracked down specific music we requested, and performed beautifully during the ceremony and cocktail hour. My family commented that they wished the quartet had played all night because they were so much better than the reception band. I would highly recommend using Harris at your wedding or any other special event!

I used Harris Academy of the Arts for live music during my ceremony and my cocktail hour. Of all the events the day of my wedding, I received the most compliments on the live music, especially the vocal preformance. Besides the amazing music, Harris Academy was a pleasure to work with. I personally worked with Kelsey and she made the process so easy. If I did not have an exact answer for her concerning music selection, she provided me with options which made my life much easier. Towards the end of the process she was amazing enough to make some decisions for me based on the information I provided her. I had so much going on the last 4 weeks of planning (as does everyone) that it was so nice to be able to trust they were making the best decisions for my wedding day. I would highly recommend Harris Academy to anyone looking for live music on their wedding day or any other event!

Harris Music Academy was wonderful to work with and played beautifully at our wedding. We did not choose traditional music (soundtrack to Friday Night Lights, Little Miss Sunshine, and Amelie) and they were flexible and made the songs sound true to the originals!

From the moment I first called Harris Academy of the Arts to the last song played at my wedding, I was amazed by these folks. They went out of their way to make my wedding music exactly what I had dreamed about, AND they spent extra time rehearsing with my personal pianist. WONDERFUL.

Harris Academy was amazing to work with. From the first contact we had with them, we were very happy. When we went to meet them and plan the wedding it was a fun and relaxed experience. They helped us pick music and songs that fit my husband and I perfectly. We requested a male musician and they had no problem meeting that demand. Our wedding was also several hours away and they did not hesitate one bit to the travel demands. I would hire Harris Academy in a heartbeat for any occasion.

Harris Academy of the Arts provided a violin duet for our wedding ceremony music. They even went to the effort of translating a piece of music we really wanted from a quartet into something reasonable for a violin duet. They worked with us to get the perfect music for every part of the ceremony, arrived promptly, and played every piece beautifully. We were extremely pleased and I would not hesitate before recommending them to family and friends.

I was so impressed with the overall organization and communication from Amy and her staff. They did everything they could to make sure my husband and I were happy with our choice of music. They even traveled 3 hours to our hometown to play for our wedding. It sounded absolutely amazing and they even played a song from Adele for me...ekkk!! Highly recommend this company for any event!

Everyone that we worked with at Harris was amazing! We had a specific song we wanted to use when I walked down the aisle that they weren't familiar with (Christopher O'Riley's version of "True Love Waits" by Radiohead). We found the sheet music for them and they willingly learned it and performed it perfectly! We had many compliments on their performance throughout the evening.

We highly recommend Harris Academy of Arts. They are great to work with and are willing to find music that fit our personality. We asked for specific music from our favorite video game, Zelda. We were worried that they wouldn't be able to do it, but we worked together to find the sheet music. The music set the atmosphere of our wedding ceremony. The violinist and pianist did an incredible job! They made are ceremony very memorable. Our guest loved the music choice. We can't express enough the gratitude we feel for Harris Academy of Arts.
Only regret is that we wish we had recorded it so that we could listen to the music over and over again. :)

Harris Academy provided the perfect music for our ceremony. They had a large selection to choose from and were willing to work with us in finding the right songs/styles we wanted. They accommodated our "untraditional" songs as well! Loved working with them, got nothing but positive reviews from our guests as well.

Harris Academy was amazing to work with from the very beginning. They were extremely helpful in assisting me with my musical selections. Amy really took the time to play as many songs as I needed to hear until I found all the right songs. They also sent us sound recordings via email to help me determine which musical instruments I wanted to incorporate in my ceremony. The musicians showed up on time, even though the roads were icy and bad. They looked very professional and played beautifully! If I had to do it all over again I would use Harris Academy in a heart beat! Thanks for all you do!!

Amy was awesome to work with, she was very helpful, extremely nice and very patient with me! She was always making sure we had everything taken care of and went above and beyond her duties to help ensure that our day was as special as it could be! I had two violinists for my ceremony and they were wonderful! It was so reasonably priced and they were able to play every piece I requested! I highly recommend if you want a beautiful and memorable ceremony that you choose Harris Music Studio!

The Harris Academy was great to work with. Their event coordinators were very friendly and professional, even though all of our interactions took place over email (which was most convenient for me, since I was planning from out of town). They did everything they could to meet our requests, and were prompt in getting back to me. We could have saved a lot of money by simply playing a recording, but my husband really wanted a string quartet - and it ended up being worth it. The musicians customized the songs we had chosen so that the excerpts they played were exactly the right length for each part of the ceremony, and they were also glad to play with a couple of my musician friends for one of the pieces of music we selected. Corey, who was the Harris cello player, came to the rehearsal to practice with them, and even took over the responsibility of making sure the sound equipment was set up how it should be, assuring me that I didn't need to worry about any of it.

Admittedly, I was quite nervous in the week leading up to our outdoor ceremony that the weather could prevent the musicians from playing (it rightfully states in their contract that they reserve the right to not play outdoors in certain conditions). But even though our wedding ended up taking place on the hottest day of the summer, the musicians braved the heat and still sounded great. Words cannot express my appreciation for their willingness to play despite the weather conditions, and for their professional and extremely helpful service throughout the planning process and up through our big day. Thank you, Harris Academy!

I found Harris Academy of the Arts to be extremely helpful in picking out songs and pieces for my wedding, allowing me tons of options, and responding to all of my questions promptly. They were extremely professional and sounded wonderfully on my wedding day!

Harris Academy played wonderfully at my wedding. I hired a string quartet for my outdoor wedding, and a pianist for my cocktail hour. Vicki and her team are true professionals. They are friendly, quick to communicate, and awesome people! The cost was a little steep, but it's very much worth it, if you are going for a grand wedding. They also have ala carte services if you want something more on a budget side. You don't want to worry about musicians bailing out on you at the last minute, pianist not being able to play the songs on your list, or a team that won't communicate efficiently. One of the best thing I did for my wedding was hiring Harris Academy.

Harris Academy of the Arts responded to my requests quickly and thoroughly. We were able to select the type of music. Amy, the musician, played beautifully and when our reception extended beyond her allotted time, she offered to play for an additional hour.

Overall, very happy with service. Great communication, on time, friendly, professional, beautiful music. Only issue we had before hand was our duo selection. We had guitar/violin duo in our contract, but 2 weeks before our wedding day, we were notified they were out of guitarists for our day. Initially I was bummed (really wanted string duo), but we went with violin/piano and it was lovely.

When we decided to do an outdoor ceremony, I wasn’t sure what to do about music. We considered just plugging in a CD player or iPod. I had dreamed about walking down the aisle to a mix of piano and violin playing. I happened to stumble upon Harris and am so glad I did. We had a soloist and they worked with her, even setting up a time for her to rehearse with them. They sounded beautiful and so many of our guests commented on how great they sounded. We did want to have a song played off an iPod for our recessional song and the lady I worked with said that it wouldn’t be an issue. When the two musicians got there, they didn’t know anything about it, and in the end, couldn’t make it work. They covered fine though and I don’t think many people noticed the difference. In the end for what they were responsible for playing, they did a great job.

They were prompt, courteous and the music was excellent. The first dance could have gone much better since no one could hear the song.

Very disappointed.

Find a different vendor. While all other wedding vendors still managed to make things a worry free experience and with a "will do" approach this summer, we are very disappointed with this one. In addition, the quartet failed to meet our expectations of performing the scheduled music while the wedding party walked down the aisle. There were periods where they played NO music at all. Poor communication between management and musicians. Any music would have been better than silence during the short wedding procession.
