Ceremony & cocktail hour harpist
Having a harpist for both our outdoor ceremony and indoor cocktail hour was one of the best decisions we made. The music was beautiful, soothing, and created such a warm, romantic atmosphere throughout the day. Lizary was incredibly professional and adaptable, and the music elevated every moment. We received endless compliments and would recommend her without hesitation -

Incredible Artist
Our entire experience working with Lizary while planning our wedding, was very smooth. She was always very responsive and informative. We had heard her play over Zoom but when we heard it the day of the wedding, everyone was blown away by her talent. It was magical. She even played Spanish music as most of our guests were Spanish speakers and it did not go unnoticed by our guests who were thrilled. We would 100% recommend Lizary for any event, not only is she incredibly talented but she is also extremely kind and warm hearted. Thank you Lizary!!! -

5 stars for Lizary!
Lizary did such a fantastic job at our wedding!! She has a long extensive list of songs to choose from, but even learned songs that were important to us that were not on her list. She was incredibly professional and always answered our questions. She played alongside a cellist and it was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend her! -

The Best!!
I am so happy we had Lizary at our wedding. She was such an easy vendor to work with. She was so flexible and actually learned a song that we specifically wanted for our wedding!! Lizary is the best in the business!
Throughout the wedding planning process, Lizary was punctual, professional and extremely helpful! She has an extensive list of song options and even learned a few new songs for our big day. Her performance was the highlight of our ceremony and multiple guests remarked on how incredible her music sounded. We couldn’t imagine finding a better harpist for our wedding and we are so thankful for getting to work with Lizary. -

You Must Have Lizary Play at Your Wedding!
Throughout the 3 years we spent planning our outdoor garden wedding (including a postponement due to COVID) and in the lead-up to the day, Lizary was a delight to work with. Lizary’s helpfulness answering questions, efficient communication and overall professionalism gave us complete confidence that she would be fantastic. On top of that, the selection of songs Lizary already knew was impressively extensive and likely more than enough to choose from for anyone’s wedding (and she was happy to learn new songs if we would’ve liked her to). On the wedding day itself, her performance was beautiful and flawless. Numerous guests complimented Lizary’s playing and how it made a wonderful day even more magical. We could not recommend having a harpist, and specifically Lizary, more strongly to play during anyone’s ceremony and cocktail hour or any other event! -

Lizary is a true gem!!
We hired Lizary for my mothers celebration of life!! Her professionalism and sensitivity was amazing!! She is very talented and had a wide array of music and song choices!! She came early and was super responsive when I had questions before the event!! She even wore purple in honor of my mother like all of our guests!! I would highly recommend her!! -

Amazing Harpist
We hired Lizary to perform during our ceremony. She had an extensive list of songs in her repertoire and she was open to learning new ones per our request. We met with her virtually twice before the wedding and she was very pleasant to work with. We received many compliments on her performance. She added a beautiful touch to our wedding and I would highly recommend her! -

Wonderful Harpist
Lizary is an amazing harpist and such a wonderful person to work with. We booked her originally in 2019 for our 2020 wedding, and then we ended up postponing the big celebration for 2 years. Lizary was extremely flexible with all of our changes, and I love how she was able to accomodate our requests for Star Wars music and music from the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack. All of our guests were so impressed with her music, and the wedding venue said she was very easy to work with. -

A fantastically talented musician who is a joy to work with
We contacted Lizary last minute after another vendor cancelled with us, and she did a FANTASTIC job! She already has an extensive repertoire, but she was also willing to learn many new songs for us, even with very little warning. She was reliably friendly, calming, and professional. We got tons of compliments from our guests after our wedding! I cannot recommend Lizary enough! -

A wonderful part of our ceremony!
It was truly wonderful to have Lizary be such a special part of our wedding ceremony! She puts her heart and soul in her music, and it really set the tone for such a beautiful ceremony! We were outside, surrounded by trees, and her peaceful music filled the air! She is so talented, and has a ton of songs to choose from. She was very organized and helpful during the planning process as well. We met several times on Zoom to discuss the details, and she played for us and we teared up every time- so beautiful! In addition to her musical talents, we truly enjoyed getting to know her as a person as well! We wholeheartedly recommend Lizary for your wedding or any other event! There is a reason she has so many positive reviews- she’s truly that good! She is a wonderfully unique, beautiful, and peaceful addition and you will be so happy you have her! -

best choice we made!
We are so incredibly lucky to have found Lizary for our wedding! We had her play during the ceremony (as guests came in, processional, recessional, and as guests left).
We met with her at her studio and had the amazing opportunity to listen to her play before we selected our songs. She had some great recommendations, and we were also able to request certain songs to listen to those too! She even learned a newer Taylor Swift song for us which made it so personal and special!!
Lizary was extremely professional and amazing to work with, not to mention her talent and gift of creating a romantic and beautiful atmosphere for our wedding ceremony. Our guests could not stop commenting on how amazing the ceremony was, specifically the music! We were so lucky to have found her, and so grateful for her patience as we rescheduled our original wedding date due to COVID. Thank you so much Lizary for making our wedding so special!

Wedding Ceremony & Cocktail Hour Music
Working with Lizary was an absolute joy! Our wedding truly would not have been as special if it weren't for her. Not only was her music spectacular, but working with her was a breeze. An amazing and Talented Artist
We were very lucky that Lizary was available to play the Harp at our wedding ceremony. She was so professional and nice from the first time we met her till the end. She plays the harp in a very talented and beautiful way and any song she plays, she adds her touch to it and turns it into a very beautiful piece.

Can't recommend Lizary enough
Lizary is SO incredibly talented and nice. She also has the best repertoire of songs that I've ever seen played on a harp.
She played at our wedding ceremony at Salve Regina and played classical music — and did a beautiful job.
Then my absolute favorite part — she came to our cocktail hour and played contemporary music on the harp. I had several guests come up to me saying, "am I hearing the Jurassic Park theme song on the harp?" It was such a fun, subtle touch because it takes a minute to realize that it isn't classical music.
I've had several guests reach out to me about hiring her for their weddings. What a fun twist. It was one of my favorite parts to the day.
BTW, she played Mulan, Jurassic Park, Game of Thrones, Taylor Swift, etc. How cool is that?? -

Best Choice We Made!
We chose Lizary to add a little something extra to our wedding ceremony, and she absolutely did not disappoint! We originally booked her for our wedding in May, but when we had to cancel and reschedule, she was super helpful in accommodating us in her schedule . The whole process from booking her to the actual wedding day went so smoothly, and she was always prompt in responding to me and helping with any questions I had. My guests had so many good things to say about her, and the music she provided really completed the whole ceremony, it was absolutely beautiful. I would 100% recommend her to anyone!! -

Cannot recommend enough – went above and beyond
I am so lucky we found Lizary to play during our ceremony at Rosecliff in Newport, RI. Right off the bat she was incredibly friendly and responsive and eager to customize our ceremony. She offered her suggestions for timing, etc. and is obviously quite experienced with weddings. Besides her extensive playlist, one thing that really impressed me is I had a specific song in mind to walk down the aisle to, and she hadn't played it before. Within a day or so of asking her about it, she sent me not even one but two samples of her playing it – one slower, one faster. I was blown away by her talent to learn something so quickly. Working with Lizary was absolutely seamless, and I just wish I could have personally heard more of her playing since I was hidden away until I had to walk! Thanks Lizary!! -

She was an absolute amazing harpist . Everyone thought she was amazing and the whole harp idea for both ceremony and cocktail was perfect. Wonderful harpist!
Lizary is an amazing harpist! When we first met with her, she spent over an hour with us playing different songs for us to figure out what we wanted for the ceremony. Ceremony Music
Lizary was extremely easy to work with. My husband and I were unsure what we wanted for ceremony music and she helped us choose music that we loved. During our ceremony, Lizary played beautiful music. We left our music choices a bit open ended and she knew exactly what to play. The cost for an hour of music (plus a consultation) was highly worth it. I wish I could get married again just to have Lizary play for us again :) -

Wonderful!
Lizary played the harp for our wedding and we cannot say enough good things about our experience. We had a very nice meeting via Skype where Lizary played a sample for us and we discussed what we wanted our wedding day to look like. We were able to select from a prepared list of songs and there was an option to choose other songs that weren’t on the list if we wanted. We also specifically requested different songs for different parts of the ceremony/cocktail hour and Lizary performed them perfectly. Hearing the harp as we walked down the aisle was almost dreamlike. So unique and truly memorable. As the bride and groom we didn’t get to hear too much of Lizary’s playing during the cocktail hour but we heard so many amazing compliments from our guests. One guest even told us they had to go up to Lizary to tell her just how wonderful she was. Overall, we highly recommend Lizary for your wedding, or any occasion for that matter. She’s incredibly talented and lovely to work with. -

She is amazing!
Lizary performed during our wedding ceremony as well as our cocktail hour. She was AMAZING!!! From the first moment that I heard her play, my husband and I were blown away. Not only with her unbelievable talent but also her knowledge of ANY song we requested. She can play everything from Cannon in D to Bruno Marr "Marry You". The guests LOVED her music and are still talking about her today.
Every step of the way she was the vendor that was most responsible and professional! It was TRULY a pleasure having her as part of our special day!!! -

Lizary is an amazing harpist. She was referred to me by a colleague and I am so glad that it worked out because she is a fantastic person to work with. Lizary had us come listen to her play on two different occasions so that we could first just hear her play in general and then later hear her play the songs we chose. She learned a song for me that she hadn't played at an event yet. She was accommodating and easy to get in touch with the whole time. I got SO many compliments on her abilities and beautiful music on the day of my wedding. I highly recommend Lizary to anyone looking for a harpist in the MA/RI areas!-

There aren’t enough wonderful things that I can say about Lizary. My husband and I got married this June and we wanted to create an experience for our guests that was both unique and unforgettable. Lizary’s beautiful harp music was exactly that.
Yes, Lizary can play the classics quite beautifully… but my husband and I are self-proclaimed nerds. During our initial meeting, when Lizary played (on the harp, mind you) Superman’s March, Star Wars and even Metallica, we were sold! Our wedding guests were simply blown away by Lizary’s talent.
I implore you to hire Lizary for your event. Yes, she does play the classics, so you don’t have to be a Star Wars fan to love her music. She is also such a wonderful person to meet and work with. Thank you Lizary, for making our wedding truly unique! -

Lizary was the perfect professional to work with for my daughter's wedding. Lizary was efficient, responsive, and willing. We had thought about contacting a local university music department for a harpist but we were so glad we went with Lizary, a professional. We were swayed by a previous review which mentioned that their wedding had last-minute changes and Lizary was able to seamlessly modify her piece of it . we listened to Lizary samples and loved them, she FaceTimeed with us so we could hear her music, giving us examples of two different kinds of harps. We realized that going with Lizary, a professional, with great experience would be important for such an important part of our ceremony and we were confident she would pivot quickly as a professional to deal with any situation. My daughter's wedding was in a small chapel by the ocean. Lizary's harp music was perfect for the setting but she had a sound system as well that would work for any setting. We did not get to hear all the music before the prelude because of our circumstances but our friends and family did and said it was a wonderful harp concert, beautiful, relaxing, calming "transcendental" and "shimmering". Lizary was so cooperative in starting 45 minutes before the ceremony and very nice about our particular list of family favorite opera love songs and ballet music my daughter had danced to. That made the pieces before the prelude very special as well as the ceremony music itself. My daughter and husband both said the soothing harp music calmed them down as they stood poised to walk down the aisle to for my daughter to join our new son. We would highly recommend Lizary for any event. She was awesome. -

She was professional and warm, even giving me a copy of her Latin music CD when she found out I was Puerto Rican as well and missed hearing music from home. If you can fit a harpist into your budget, look no further than Lizary. My brother generously booked Lizary as a gift for us, and then passed communication off to me to work out the details. Lizary welcomed us into her home to help us work out what kind of tone we wanted to set and what pieces we wanted specifically for the ceremony. She was on time, dressed very professionally, and played beautifully - Lizary even accommodated the chillier than expected weather and moved indoors to the reception space for cocktail hour. We had the great pleasure to have Lizary as our wedding harpist. Prior to dinner, when all guests were seated, we had her perform a 30 minutes concert for our guests. We requested Stairway to Heaven and some classical pieces by Bach and asked her to complement the performance with some Latin-American songs. Dr. Lizary Rodriguez is truly exceptional. As a bride, I had interest in hiring a harpist to play music for our ceremony. My parents also loved this idea. When I knew we could afford to try to make this a reality, I had only about one month before the wedding date. I was unsure what to do, so I reached out to Lizary, in hopes she might be able to attend. I emailed Lizary and she responded right away. She explained that she was already booked for that date in the evening, but if I was interested, she let me know she was willing to set up and play right before she would need to leave for her other occasion. I was incredibly grateful for this offer. I felt that Lizary understood how special this was to me. Another detail at this point was she let me know I could meet with her in person, to hear her play, or do this over Skype. Having listened to her work on pre-recorded videos, I let her know I did not need her play for me directly. The beauty of her work was above and beyond what I could dream of...Lizary let me know what songs she plays and her list of options is pages long. She also allowed me to choose specific songs to have play before the ceremony began, and then during, and then at the end. I was running around the day of the wedding and she arrived, set up, and played all the songs I had requested. I was also blown away because I did not get to tell her which of 2 wedding marches I wanted most, and she chose perfectly for us. When I came out that day and heard the music, it was like I was in heaven on earth. I cannot express to you how warm and joyous it was to hear her music gently fill the air as I walked out into the sunshine on that beautiful afternoon surrounded by so much love. There is no question that every single person at your celebration will remember the harp songs as a magical and incredible part of their experience. Lizary sincerely has a gift that makes her one of the best at her craft, not just in this country,but in the world. -

She was wonderful and worth every penny. The music added so much to the ceremony! Even the bride and groom (very young) who were skeptical about having a harpist admitted it was beautiful! Lizary played the harp during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour this past April. Her friendliness, professionalism and pure musical talent added such a nice touch to our wedding day. I have written 2 reviews in my life as I work very long hours and do not have the time, however, for Lizary, I will make the time. To say that she was exceptional would be an understatement. She was extremely communicative, flexible and easy to partner with. Initially, her and I wrote back and forth to discuss availability and options. We were having our wedding in Puerto Rico and it so happened that we were having our wedding at the right place at the right time and she was traveling to be there and available for the date. She also provided us with other methods of communication that were most convenient for us (skype, phone, etc.). Once we had the chance to speak with her and look at her website, we were pretty much sold. Some of her music content is available online so you can personally hear and experience what an amazing musician she is. Not only is she well learned and trained as a classical musician, she also has the ability to play modern day hits on her harp. When she performed at our wedding, my guests were astonished at some of the songs that she was able to perform that they never thought they would hear out of a harp. She also has the ability to play many genres of music that will please audiences of all age levels and musical taste. Not to mention, there was a song that she was able to teach herself for our wedding that had a lot of sentimental value to my mother and our family. She was very professional, flexible, available as necessary and accomodating. Also, we considered the price for her services very reasonable for the level of service and skill/talent that she provided to us. We consider ourselves extremely lucky and blessed to have found her to perform for our wedding. Lizary was definitely a part of the day that everyone is still talking about and will remember forever! I will recommend her to everyone. I wish that I lived closer to her so that I could refer more business her way. -

Lizary was very professional and responsive through the coordination process. She provided suggestions for music and was willing to accommodate all requests. The day of the wedding she was marvelous! Even though we had an outdoor wedding as I walked towards the area where the ceremony was held I could hear her melodies and it was enchanting. All my guests commented on how delighted they were with her music before and after the ceremony. Having her there made the day truly special and magical. -

My Mom who passed away two years ago had a fondness for harp music. As a way to honor her I decided to hire a harpist to play for my wedding ceremony which took place this past October. In researching Harpist, I came across Lizary's web page. Having liked what I saw I gave her a call and quickly made an appointment to go and see her play at her home office. My husband and I were in awe of how beautifully Lizary plays. She is extremely talented in addition to being very professional and a genuinely nice person. Many of the guests at the wedding commented on how elegant the music was and how it added to the overall fairy tale like feel of the wedding. I without hesitation highly recommend Lizary . Trust me you will not be disappointed. -

Lizary not only provided ceremony music for our wedding in October 2013 but performed for the cocktail hour as well! My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about Lizary. She was very professional, and quickly found music to play our many requests. All of our guests could not stop commenting how talented she was and what a special touch her music added to our wedding day. What a great and more affordable alternative to a string quartet. I would recommend Lizary to anyone looking for a harpist. Thank you Lizary! -

Lizary plays absolutely beautiful music. Many of our guests said how much they enjoyed her playing both during the ceremony and cocktail hour. My husband and I wished we were able to sit and enjoy her music more and look forward to hearing her more on our wedding video. She is also very reasonably priced. She very clearly loves what she does. We didn't even bother to meet with other harpists because we loved her instantly! -

I am a musician and so for our wedding I did not want a chamber ensemble that had perhaps rehearsed one time. Trust me, that's all they rehearse.
By choosing Lizary, we ensured a wonderful performance by a charismatic and professional musician. How important is the music in your wedding? Watch a movie and remove the music; all the ambiance is completely removed.

Lizary was amazing!! All of our guests commented on how perfect the songs were. She was even able to incorporate a very meaningful song that all of my family noted as one of the best versions they had ever heard.

Lizary provided music at our garden ceremony at Plimoth Plantation. She was very professional and provided a wonderful mix for our guests. We met with her prior to the ceremony at her private studio to hear a sample and pick out our music. We were blown away with her talent and how flexible she was with music selections.
I would recommend Lizary for your wedding! Most describe the ceremony as "magical" and the harp really set the tone for a beautiful ceremony and an amazing wedding!! -

We hired Lizary for our Bridal Shower and she was incredible. Very quick in responding to me and made the booking process very easy. She came dressed to impress, was there early all set up and ready to go and her music and instrument were beautiful. All our guests were raving about the music and her performance. Very classy. Initially, I had worked with a different vendor who had been referred to me. In the last month before the wedding, that vendor was unresponsive to my emails. Without a contract and with just two and a half weeks to the big day I became nervous and decided to google "Boston MA harpists" and came across Lizary. I can not express how fortunate I was to find her! I sent Lizary an email that night and within hours she responded back that she was available. We met within days to go over what type of music interested us. We also had her stay to play at our cocktail reception, and my guests raved at how wonderful she was, and what a great mix of contemporary and classical music she performed.
Lizary is a true professional with a beautiful personality. If I could give her "10s" on this page I would! I would recommend her without hesitation! -

Lizary played beautifully on our wedding day!! I always imagined walking down the aisle to Cannon in D played by a harpist. When I started looking for a harpist the prices were insane. I even considered hiring a student from a music school, but trying to get a response was so hard and slow. They also don't guarantee that you can hear a demo before your wedding day unless the student wants to provide one. I was ready to charge up my iPod for the wedding day until I found Lizary! I couldn't believe how beautifully she played, how professional she was, how quick she was to respond, and how prepared she was on the big day. We went to her home for the free consultation/demo where we picked the songs and planned the ceremony song order with her. She played a short bit of each song and it was perfect. It was my fastest choice for a vendor and the easiest. Even on the day of the wedding, I felt like there were times where I was running around since the coordinator at our ceremony venue was less than helpful. When I saw Lizary, I was frazzled and thought I would have to give her the run down of what was going on and where to set up, etc. But no, she immediately told me she had already talked to my Justice of the Peace and they worked everything out. It was such a great relief to have a vendor who knew what they were doing and just did it. The songs I heard during the ceremony were perfectly played. Even though I didn't hear the songs throughout the cocktail hour since I was taking pictures, I've heard SO many of my guests tell me how beautifully she played and how sweet she was. My friend's mother kept telling me how wonderful Lizary was and my neighbor told me recently that she was so happy with the harp music. If you are looking for a harpist, I cannot recommend Lizary enough. She was professional and plays amazingly. I was an OCD bride who looked through every vendor possible and expected perfection. I am so glad I found Lizary, she surpassed my expectations. -

Lizary did an amazing job playing the harp for my wedding. I asked her two weeks before the event to try to play a song she hadn't played before. Lizary was terrific from start to finish! Consistent excellent reviews led us to Lizary while we were searching for a harpist! We met with her in her home where she sampled various selections for our wedding ceremony and she was terrific! She was so nice and very responsive. She showed up on time and played her music beautifully at our wedding! For cocktail hour we gave her free reign to play whatever she'd like and it was great! Booking Lizary Rodriguez to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding! Lizary was so easy to work with leading up to the wedding. We live out of state, and she was able to play for us over skype so that we could select our ceremony music - it worked perfectly. She is very flexible and will really play anything that you want!
It really was magical to walk down the aisle to the sounds of Lizary's beautiful music. We went with classical music for the ceremony and then jazzed it up for the cocktail hour. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful it was!
We recommend Lizary 100% - she really adds something special to a wedding!

Lizary added the perfect touch to our wedding ceremony. She is an amazingly talented musician and she played beautiful music during our wedding, she also arranged for a flutist to play with her which made it easy for me (she can arrange for a violinist as well if you want). She was very professional to work with and always responded in a very timely fashion. I ended up changing my music with only a few days to go and that was not a problem. I would definitely recommend Lizary for any special event or wedding. -

Lizary was amazing! She is incredibly talented, musically, and incredibly sweet. Having her play at the ceremony and into the cocktail hour and dinner elevated our already elegant wedding to a whole different level. Virtually every single guest commented on how beautiful the ceremony was, and how incredibly she played. Whether you are a fan of classical music or not, you should seriously consider having her play at your wedding. It was so nice working with Lizary. We contracted her to play for our ceremony and cocktail hour. She helped us navigate through our music selection for the ceremony.
We wanted something more cheerful than the standard violins. The way Lizary played the songs on her harp - made all the difference at our wedding. It sounded so beautiful. Definitely, would recommend Lizary to all future brides. -
