Magical! A dream come true

I had Catherine and cellist, Jules, play for my ceremony on 2/16, and words really cannot capture how absolutely wonderful it was! From the early email conversations, all through planning, she was prompt, professional, and incredibly helpful. I had a very specific vision in mind for my Fairytale/Jurassic Park theme, and Catherine completely exceeded my expectations! My dream wedding was brought to life in the most completely magical way; I had guests all night telling me how much they loved the music. 5 stars is not enough! If you are even considering maybe booking, DO IT! You won't be disappointed!

She Made A Bad Time SO Much Easier, Enthusiastic and Excited to Create Custom Music Selection

Catherine was amazing to work with, even though we had to cancel our wedding. We had a lot of custom music we wanted for our wedding and she not only immediately looked for sheet music (before we officially hired her even!) and made sure it was exactly what we wanted but she seemed genuinely excited to be there for our big day. Like I mentioned, we had to cancel because of Covid-19 and we live out of state or we would have just rebooked with her for a later date but when we came to her and let her know, she was so kind, understanding and also gave our deposit back. Trying to replan a wedding after losing a lot of money to vendors who didn't give us our deposit back, that was a breath of fresh air. We were lucky to have found her. 100% would recommend.

Wonderful Musician

Catherine was wonderful to work with! We realized that we wanted to have a harpist for our ceremony, and Catherine was very responsive and had a lot of knowledge to share about the ceremony process. Her worksheets and online samples made it fun to select our music, and several guests gushed about how it made the ceremony complete. Two of our guests are professional musicians (one being a harpist herself), and they verified her skill. I would definitely recommend adding Catherine to your list of vendors!

Beautiful & magical

Catherine Way was amazing to work with- from start to finish she was super friendly and prompt. I had harp and violin at my wedding during ceremony and cocktail hour and it was MAGICAL. The music and appearance of the harp & violin was so elegant, beautiful, and unique- it truly made my wedding day special and memorable. Many guests commented on how beautiful the music was and how much they enjoyed it. Highly recommend!!

Catherine was amazing and a wondering addition to our wedding day. She is so kind, genuine, and flexible. I had a few special song requests that she found music for, learned, and was able to play for my ceremony processional! She is professional and if you are thinking about adding her to enhance your ceremony, I would recommend her over and over and over again! Catherine was so easy to work with and her music was absolutely amazing and beautiful. It really brought the whole ceremony together and made our day feel so elegant and amazing! Hearing her music brought tears to my eyes as I walked down the aisle and saw my soon to be husband waiting for me. I highly recommend her to anyone. She is the BEST!!

We chose Catherine to play the harp for our ceremony. I am so so happy that we did! We had a DJ for our cocktail hour and wedding reception, but having a harp for our ceremony made it so much more romantic and special than having a DJ could have. Catherine played beautifully and we couldn't have been more happy with our ceremony. All of our wedding guests raved about her music and how having a harpist for the ceremony really set it apart from other weddings they had been to. Catherine was wonderful from the first email I sent her inquiring about her services, to the day of our wedding. She sent a list to find out what type of music we liked and she had more options that I ever would have thought possible that she could play for our wedding. I am a huge Beauty and the Beast lover and was overjoyed when I saw that that was on her list of music. Thank you so much Catherine for making our wedding ceremony more special than we ever could have imagined!

Catherine was fantastic! I had no idea what kind of music I wanted or how many songs we needed so Catherine set up a phone call with me to talk through my ideas (or lack thereof) and her expert suggestions. We came up with a beautiful combination of more traditional songs as well as current love songs. Having a harpist at our ceremony was so perfect and Catherine is the best choice! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

We met Catherine at the Wedding Expo in January. She was playing many different tune in the auditorium and provided a listing of what she has available and was very pleasant. She asked for requests for us to hear and asked questions to establish a theme for our wedding. We are contracting with her to play for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. From her list of music, we were able to choose many songs which will make our wedding so very romantic and "Royal" just as we have desired. We can't wait for our wedding day. Her pricing is just what you need for your budget.

Catherine is such a wonderful person and talented Harpist! Her music was such a beautiful addition to our special day! All of our guests loved her music. She played for our ceremony, cocktail hour and our reception.

Catherine was so lovely and wonderful to work with. She truly made it feel as though our wedding was as important to her as it was to us!

Catherine did my ceremony and cocktail hour at Bella Collina. She was awesome at communicating and really brought a beautiful, romantic ambience to the venue. She was able to accommodate the songs of my choice. I wish I was able to listen to her play more. But definitely would recommend

Catherine Way is amazing! Not only does she play beautifully, she was also so responsive to emails and requests. My now husband loves Coldplay, so I wanted to surprise him with a few songs played during the ceremony. I requested "Ink" which Catherine didn't have on her playlist, but she went above and beyond and found it, and was able to play it for our ceremony! She also played several other Coldplay songs throughout the ceremony.

I am extremely happy with her service, and would absolutely recommend her for anyone looking for a musician to play at their next event!

Catherine played the harp for our ceremony. Unfortunately, I was only able to hear bits and pieces as I was waiting for my turn to walk down the isle, but everything I heard was great! Guests mentioned that she did a great job playing prelude music (1/2 hour before ceremony start time) and played a mix of traditional and contemporary music. She was very easy to communicate with, and was very enthusiastic about our choices! We knew it would make a great a touch to our ceremony and I'm glad we did it!

I took the time to look through musicians for our ceremony and after contacting a few vendors I was not convinced with, I bumped into Harpstrings, Inc. When I listened to her samples, I knew I wanted to hire her. All the other ones I was recommended were super overrated, pricey and sounded pretty amateur.

I was really happy I found Catherine's page. She was super easy to get in touch with, and had many options for us to choose from. We also asked for music outside of her repertoire, and she was able to do it for a little extra as she had to buy the partitures and learn the new songs. It was totally worth it.

I was really happy with the result and she really added to the ceremony and cocktail hour. The performance was more than we could have imagined. I definitely recommend Harpstrings, Inc.

We booked Catherine for our ceremony and cocktail hour and she did not disappoint! We had so many compliments on how beautiful the music was and the acoustics of the Orange County Regional History Center are perfect for a harpist. We would highly recommend booking HarpStrings!

Not only is Catherine a spectacular musician, but she was so incredibly organized and gave us wonderful recommendations throughout the entire planning process. We had a very small, intimate wedding, and Catherine provided so many great suggestions to ensure the process was smooth. She spent a ton of time with us, explaining all the details of her services and how she would be performing at the wedding. On the day of, she arrived early and stayed late, and provided such sweet melodic music to our garden reception. She was friendly and personable, our guests loved it! She is just perfect!!

I hired Catherine for my February wedding at the Ballroom at Church Street and I am so glad that I did! From the very first time I spoke with her all the way through the wedding day, Catherine was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. We wanted all Beatles songs for our ceremony and she was so excited about it! She was more than willing to play all the songs we asked for and also gave wonderful suggestions. Our guests raved about how awesome she was and how she helped make the wedding cermeony so beautiful and personal.

I would absolutely recommend Catherine to other brides. She is amazing!

Catherine was such a delight to work with from picking out music to the day of our event. She is so talented her music added a magical touch to the ceremony. Even when we had a small snafu with the bridal party recession she just looped the music and no one ever noticed there was a hitch....she never skipped a beat. Her playing was so beautiful it was hard to refrain from applauding after each piece. Do yourself a favor and hire this truly professional and talented musician to play at your next event!!!

When I began planning my wedding, I knew I wanted a harpist to play during our ceremony. I did not want a DJ. Live music brings such an elegant touch to weddings. Catherine was helpful during our music select. She did an amazing job playing at my wedding. The music for the ceremony and cocktail hour was absolutely beautiful. Catherine played beautiful music at my wedding ceremony in March, 2013. She was very professional and offered lots of great advice for our ceremony. She was always available to discuss music specifics and would always respond to my emails very promptly. Catherine was very flexible with the music selection, and played all of my requested music which included Disney music, current radio music and traditional music. The beautiful music really brought the ceremony together and gave it the touch of elegance I was looking for. I would highly recommend her to future brides!

If you are looking for an amazingly talented and highly professional musician to perform at your wedding then look no further! Catherine Way is absolutely wonderful! Extremely talented, professional and down to earth are my main descriptions of her. My wedding went off with out a hitch from beginning to end, thanks in part to her. The music selection was perfectly orchestrated and filled the lakeside venue with enchantment. I was so at ease walking down the aisle, knowing that Ms. Way had everything under control and playing so beautifully. Ms. Way was very organized and easy to contact in regards to arranging what I wanted for my wedding and if any changes needed to be made. My guests had such wonderful compliments to give me regarding my music and musician selection, stating my wedding sounded like a fairy tale and that they would have loved a harpist at their weddings! You won't be disappointed with Ms. Way and her amazing talent and professionalism!

Catherine Way did the preceremy music as guests were being seated at the church. She created the perfect environment and the music was lovely and the harp set the tone for the ceremony. Catherine was very professional and very organized; she got to the church before scheduled to go over music and coordinate with the on site musicians. Catherine had many musical suggestions and provided sound clips so we could hear her playing the music before the ceremony. Catherine Way was the perfect start to our beautiful ceremony and I would definately recommend her for your event!

I had the pleasure of working with Catherine on my wedding day. She is very understanding and helpful as she walked me through everything from song selection to timing of the ceremony. Catherine is not only professional but very caring. She was always willing to explain anything I needed clarification on. The day of my wedding it began to rain an hour or so before the ceremony, and Catherine remained calmed and it helped me to remain calm and I just remember her saying how beautiful I looked. All in all if you decide to book Catherine she will be a great addition to your ceremony and make your day one to remember! She will add an element of elegance, serenity and uniqueness. She's not just a harpist she's an excellent musician and a caring person. Catherine helped us capture our dream wedding with her amazing talent. She played while our guests were seated and throughout our ceremony. She brought elegance and made our ceremony unforgettable. Catherine Way is an ultimate professional and we were thrilled when she agreed to play the harp at my daughters wedding in February. Jessica has always been fond of the Disney "Princesses" and our guests were pleased (and a little surprised) at hearing pre-wedding Disney tunes! She played a beautiful melody as the bride and her father walked down the outdoor walkway. Catherine is very quick to respond, has recorded music to ease in selection, was prompt to arrive and, by far, the best harpist we reviewed.

Catherine did an amazing job at my reception, she played all the songs beautifully!!! I couldn't have asked for a better harpist. Her energy and friendliness are exceptional. She worked with me over the phone and email because I live in Chicago and had my wedding in Florida, and was a great help with choosing the songs and telling me about the organization and processional schedules, I had no idea of any of this! She also helped me with the ceremonies that go on during the wedding (I chose a wine ceremony and it went great).
Catherine is very knowledgeable and a great artist, she even played a song that was not in her repertoire, a very unique song to me and she played it flawlessly, I highly recommend her, she is the best!

I first heard Catherine's music when I had gone to a bridal/wedding convention in Orlando. I heard her music and fell in love, and kept her card. When it came time to choose a ceremony musician, it was a no-brainer...my fiancé and I always knew we wanted actual musicians rather than DJ/loudspeaker music for our ceremony to add a more traditional and personal touch. After looking at her website we chose to have a duo of harp and violin. It was a WONDERFUL choice; the music was absolutely heavenly. So many of our guests gushed about the ceremony music afterwards, and our families felt that it was so moving and really added to the emotion and "feel" of the ceremony. All of our music selections were executed perfectly, and everything was beautiful.

In addition to the actual music the day of the event, I really have to commend Catherine on her professionalism and kind personality. Although we got married in FL where I grew up, my husband and I live in NY so it was not easy planning an out of state wedding. In addition, I have a hectic work schedule with odd hours, which made planning difficult. However, in regards to planning our ceremony music, Catherine made it incredibly easy. She was always prompt with every email, and patient with all of my questions. She also was understanding with the need for me to plan so much in advance in comparison to other brides, due to a strenuous work schedule the two months before my wedding. Catherine emails out a sheet with music "suggestions" for different parts of the ceremony, however she has such a large selection of songs that it was easy to choose selections in our taste and style. We loved how personal all of our music selections were.

Thank you Catherine Way, for beautiful, touching, AMAZING ceremony music. It made our ceremony complete. Thank you!

Catherine is amazing and so is the music she plays! Catherine is so sweet and very easy to work with when planning your wedding. The music she played for our ceremony was beautiful and very classy touch to any event!

Catherine was extremely proffesional and worked with me to find the best songs for my ceremony and cocktail hour. It almost rained and she took the chance going outside anyway to play for the ceremony and it turned out beautifully!! Everyone loved that she played unique songs, and I loved that she helped me figure out which song would work best. HIGHLY recommended!!!!!!!!

Catherine Way is a professional harpist whose gorgeous music graced our daughter's wedding and entertained our guests during cocktail hour. She is a lovely person who treated us like our wedding was the most important event in the world. We worked closely together to select the music, and the overall effect was positively magnificent. She answers e-mails / phone calls in a timely manner, and really tries to please.
Without a doubt, I would use this vendor again!!

Catherine Way was a major part of my wedding and I loved her at first sight! I heard her first play in winter park at a bridal show & she was amazing! I knew I had to have her & our wedding wouldn't have been the same without her! She is wonderful & so accommodating & helpful! I would recommend her to everyone!!

I don't know why an anonymous poster from 9/19/11 has to rail against a professional in a forum such as this. Without being flippant: OXIDATION. I bet you anything that getting a harp wet would destroy it. I completely understand Catherine not wanting to set up in the rain, after rain, in the middle of rain, whatever. In Florida we all know how stopped rain starts again with BANDS of rain. BACKGROUND: Ours was to be a smaller, family friendly sit down wedding. We wanted it to be what we termed as "classy" with live music playing a dominant role from the start of the ceremony through the dinner time. It would be very low key; the DJ wouldn't begin until later, transitioning in with Sinatra and the like. We structured a plan over time by email and phone to have Catherine perform solo from guest arrival until the reception start. At the time of bridal party announcement, Catherine would lead an ensemble including cellist and violin and play through the dinner. Working with Catherine was very easy from start to finish. Our music selection was mostly from her extensive suggestions list, but we also searched the web and asked her to perform one piece that I actively took a role in locating piano sheet music for! REVIEW: I'll "start" the review by writing that the day of the wedding was PERFECT in every way. Our guests loved the ambiance of the harp music, and even chuckled as the groomsmen were being photographed to the playing of the Godfather Theme (on harp!) It didn't go unnoticed by guests that Catherine was playing a set list of popular pieces that we loved. The arrangement of the music by Catherine were beautifully conceived and played. Catherine isn't just reading off someone's sheet music. She is a professional muscician, composer. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Catherine Way for any function. She was a huge contributor to our realized wedding vision. Thank you...

When I found Catherine I knew she was just what I was looking for, and I crossed my fingers she was available! I decided to book Catherine for our ceremony and our cocktail (hour and a half) hour. It was the best decision! Her music is just beautiful and you can't help but feel the romance that comes out of her music. Catherine was such a joy to work with. When I was stressing out and nervous about making the right choice in musician she was an immediate blessing. She was willing to work with me on a lot of different things. I wasn't your traditional bride. I was a Disney bride who had Disney music for the entire ceremony, and then switched to country and Twilight themed music for the cake/champagne reception. It was so beautiful the whole way through, and just hearing how she transitioned them together was amazing. She was easy to contact, had fast response times, and has even been a joy to talk to after the ceremony. Everyone was impressed with her music. I still cry to this day tears of joy when I hear certain songs and remember the beautiful way they sounded in the gazebo. She really is a great musician to work with.

Catherine Way was the harpist that played at my daughter's wedding at Shades of Green at Walt Disney World in April. She was very easy to work with throughout the entire process. We wanted a beautiful and classic wedding and that is exactly what we got. The minute she began playing, the wedding became magical! She played for the wedding and the cocktail hour that followed. We had many compliments about the music and I would hire her again in a heart beat. I highly recommend her.

Catherine was unbelievable from the first phone call. She made everything so easy from the start. I would use her again and again. No disappointments. My guess were all amazed of her quaility of work and that I didnt know her because see felt like family. She is truly an amazing harpist and she deserves more then 5 start rating. With so much focus on the dress, the food and the flowers, so many brides overlook the magic a harp can bring to the wedding day. Catherine was the best harpist!!! I am so happy she was able to play during my ceremony. She offered great music advice, was friendly and professional, unlike some other artists I dealt with before. She sent me a CD with her list of songs but was open to my ideas as well.
Her prices are great and she is wonderful!

First, my husband and I think that Catherine was very professional. She was very responsive and promptly responded to our very many questions. Also very nice and personable. The pieces she played at the wedding were wonderful and a lot of our guests loved her.

Catherine provided the beautiful music for my daughters wedding. The harp added so much to the moments and she was outstanding! If you have never considered a harp you should!! She gave my daughters wedding the elegance and grace that Samantha was looking for. I would highly recommend her to everyone looking for that extra touch!

When I look back at my wedding day at Paradise Cove the only thing that was a negative factor was my harpist. Her timely response and communication before the wedding was wonderful and then when it came to my wedding day it was a entirely different story! It started to rain before my outdoor wedding and the diva came out in Catherine Way. She wasn't willing to set her harp up because of the rain (understandable) the wedding coordinator offered to set up a easy up for her, she declined. Someone else offered to hold an umbrella up for her and that wasn't good enough either. Her uncompromising made the wedding start late and it had stopped raining and she still wouldn't set up in her originally spot under any sort of umbrella or easy up!. She was suppose to play arrival music, she didn't, and ceremony. She flew out of there so fast once the ceremony was over. She ending up planning in a storage shed not even close to the ceremony and the harp was very hard to hear. A special moment for my future groom and mother wasn't even heard because she was so far away from the ceremony. Sad I wasted my money.
