Buy local!

We used Harmony Harvest Farms for bulk flowers as well as arranged flowers. Everything was amazing! We gave their designer an idea about our vision and the autumnal color palette, and she brought it to live. We had so many compliments on the flowers and we enjoyed them for almost three weeks at home!

Just WOW!!!

I honestly didn’t know how to put into words what I was looking for with the flowers. I knew I wanted something a bit different and fun but still “put together”. I eventually just left it in the hands of Harmony Harvest and the wedding day came and I didn’t really know what to expect but I was blown away! The flowers were gorgeous and I got so many compliments on them. The team at HHF was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

GORGEOUS FLOWERS - Pleasure to work with!

I cannot recommend Chris and Harmony Harvest Farm more! The flowers for our wedding were just gorgeous. We dried and hung my bridal bouquet in a shadow box, and it is the perfect reminder of the stunning colors we enjoyed the day of our wedding. Chris was so flexible and enjoyable to work with. Her and her team's creativity and guidance, resulted in beautiful statement center pieces for our tables, aisle barrels, and for our ladies to carry during the ceremony. It was flawless!

Beautiful Wedding Flowers!

Harmony Harvest Farms provided the flowers for our daughter’s wedding in Harrisonburg, VA and they were BEAUTIFUL! The wedding was in late September and our daughter wanted flowers that included sunflowers and other fall colors. She worked with Harmony Harvest over the phone to plan the flower arrangements, which they delivered and set up the day of the wedding. Everything blended well with the venue and the rest of the décor, and the flowers were the perfect blend of casual, cheerful and elegant. We highly recommend Harmony Harvest Farms!

Beautiful, local, farm fresh florals!!

The team at Harmony Harvest was so amazing to work with! Chris was in contact with me throughout my planning process and was so sweet and accommodating to my budget and aesthetic. What I loved most about HHF was that they were local to where I was getting married and grow all of their flowers. The flowers were grown locally and hand picked just days before my wedding-that is so incredible! Our flowers were absolutely beautiful and they added so much to our wedding day! HIGHLY recommend!!

Obsessed- Still fawning over our flowers

Jess, Steph and Chris were incredibly easy and exciting to work with! The way they work was unique. We met up with them in Charlottesville and all they asked for were examples of my perfect vision to them. Basically, I just showed them a collection of pictures that conveyed what I wanted and they just absorbed what I was saying. They told me to just trust them. I did. No mock ups or anything. And when I say I am obsessed with what they put together for our day, I am not exaggerating. The flowers and greenery looked incredible! They listened to everything I wanted and found a way to make it all happen within our budget. The colors seamlessly blended in with the color palette of our wedding. The chuppah was gorgeously designed. The bouquets were beautiful and lush. They added the perfect amount of accents on our boxwoods. The tables were tastefully decorated with lush greenery that worked perfectly with our candles and vases. They were the best of all our vendors to work with. They showed up all the way from Charlottesville to Ellicott City, Maryland (a 3 hour drive) at 7am to start setting up. When we had to move our venue late in the process, they added to our order without driving up the price unreasonably (and we had to add a lot after going from an outdoor venue to an indoor venue). They really helped stretch our dollar and that was incredibly gracious of them to do. I simply loved working with Harmony Harvest Farm and I adore the three women who make that engine go. Make it easy on yourself. Pick Harmony Harvest to be your florist. You won't regret it.

My favorite vendor: HHF captured my wedding vision perfectly!

Without a doubt, working with the amazing team at Harmony Harvest Farm was one of the highlights of my wedding (in addition to, you know, saying "I Do"). I went to Jess and Chris with a few ideas and explained my overall vision for the flowers on my wedding day. They listened, took notes, discussed my ideas with me, and then took it from there. I was able to trust the team 100 percent, and I knew they would go above and beyond to create something amazing and unique. I highly recommend HHF to all brides because of the team's creativity, professionalism, responsiveness and positive and fun attitude. Overall, this family owned and operated business is an absolute gem, and I would hire them all over again for another celebration or big event.

Wonderful people, wonderful flowers!

Attention to Detail at It's Finest

Harmony Harvest Farm and family have become friends. They did the flowers for my daughter's wedding September 2018, and worked with us to stay within our budget, yet produce the most beautiful flowers for our wedding. Most of the flowers were grown on their farm and they even included a family heirloom in my daughter's bouquet. They think of every detail and are professional, meeting us where we were, both emotionally (we all know a wedding can be emotional) and financially. The flowers fit into the day and the venue perfectly. Thank you, Harmony Harvest for your love and passion to share the beauty of nature artistically and with such talent. You are the best!

Where do I even begin? Jess and Chris made the entire planning process for my wedding florals such a breeze! These two were so flexible, so accommodating, and so WONDERFUL to work with! They went over every detail to make sure that our visions aligned, and when my wedding venue flooded on the day of my wedding, they went above and beyond to transform a new reception space for me. Their team is without a doubt one of the hardest working that I have ever worked with, and it was such a joy to work with them for my own wedding flowers. As a professional photographer, coordinating with them on wedding days is equally as wonderful. I can't thank them enough for all of their help!!

Harmony Harvest is absolutely amazing! Working with Jessica and Chris was wonderful, and from start to finish they exceed all of our expectations. At our first meeting, I shared some of my general ideas with Jessica and after hearing her discuss her vision, I had no doubt that everything would be perfect. Throughout the process, Chris always provided quick and thorough responses to all of our questions. In addition, the week of the wedding, Harmony worked directly with our baker and venue to ensure everything was in order and had even developed backup options in case of rain. Fortunately, the day of the wedding was beautiful and all of the flowers were stunning. Seeing the flowers on the wine barrels and arbor literally brought me to happy tears, and my bouquet was absolutely perfect. I cannot say
enough about how happy we were with everything, and if you have the chance to work with this wonderful team, I would highly recommend it!

All I can say is wow! HH did a wonderful job listening to what I wanted and designed stunning bouquets and centerpieces that fit perfectly with our fall vineyard theme wedding. So professional and flexible; they did a fantastic job and grew all of the flower on their farm. They even decorated our hand made arch. A month later the flowers still look great in my dining room. What a pleasure it was to work with Harmony Harvest! From the initial planning meeting with Jessica and Chris to the wedding day, everything turned out better than expected. I personally loved the idea that I knew where the flowers were grown and exactly who created the floral pieces for my wedding day. The quality of flowers they provide is unlike any other in the area. Harmony Harvest was amazing! I especially loved the fact that they grew my flowers for me. They were very upbeat and outgoing which made everything much easier. I told them what I wanted and showed them a few different pinterest ideas and it was as if they saw the same image I did. Unfortunately, on my wedding day it was raining and I was having an outside wedding. I was frazzled and worried as any bride would be but Harmony Harvest came, they had an Arbor at hand along with their wonderful creativity and tons of ideas to alter things accordingly to the inside space I had provided and I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful ceremony. I used sunflowers as my main flower and they managed to turn a dreary day bright and colorful. I do belive they were one of the main reasons that my wedding day turned out as great as it did considering the circumstances. Before they left they brought me a mason jar full of rain with a little phrase about how it's good luck to have rain on your wedding day and they wished me luck before I walked down the isle, which almost brought me to tears. They were all so easy to work with and did everything possible to make sure my visions came to life.

Harmony specializes in "what you want" and prefer. They are very detailed and the flowers were just gorgeous. They make sure there are no problems for the day of event with their packaging/delivery which is a huge relief. If you don't want to worry...hire Harmony harvest, you won't be disappointed. Chris and her daughter, Jessica, are amazing to work with! They took all of my favorites in to consideration and made arrangements and bouquets more gorgeous than I could have imagined! Harmony Harvest did our flowers for our wedding. We just had them do the bridal bouquet, flower comb, boutonniere and a few corsages and then did buckets of flowers for the reception. The prepared flowers were gorgeous. I don't think I gave very specific instruction but I could not have asked for anything more. They were perfect. The bucket of flowers were more like wild flowers and fit the location well. Thank you Harmony Harvest for beautifying my wedding day!

Loved working with Harmony Harvest Farm! They were very quick to respond. Super easy to talk to. I told Jessica to have at it with my bouquet and she went above and beyond anything I could have imagined! We bought loose flowers for our centerpieces and arranged those ourselves. I can't recommend this vendor ENOUGH! Harmony Harvest MADE my Wedding Day. I was a DIY Bride with a budget in mind and the fact that I could buy some of my reception flowers in bulk buckets was what sealed the deal for me up front. Throw in an awesome flower designer, Jessica, and her Mom, business-savvy Chris - and this was a no brainer to contract with them! They made this process F-U-N and I looked forward to making the drive down from Northern Virginia for our flower consultations. The entire day of the wedding - my guests and family were RAVING about my bouquet, and let's be honest, I'm still getting compliments on our flowers now that we've gotten the professional photos back. My photographer loved snapping pictures of my flowers and I could've have been happier with the bridesmaids' simple baby's breath bouquets. Jessica & Chris, you two are an incredible duo and I can't thank you enough for all of the hard work you did to make my Wedding come to life with these special flowers. (And many thanks for incorporating the locket in my bouquet with my Dad's picture, so he could "walk me down the aisle" even though he's no longer with me. The photos are so treasured with this meaningful detail!)

Harmony Harvest was a perfect choice! I can't get over how beautiful the flowers turned out! They were incredibly accommodating with any ideas and input and are also very good at sensing what you want. I didn't know exactly what I wanted for our flowers for the wedding and was a bit torn, but Harmony Harvest somehow created my ideal flowers. Be open to different arrangements because even though you may be set on certain flowers for your arrangements, those flowers may not be ready in that season. It can be much more fun, exciting, and stress-free if you work with nature than the other way around. There are beautiful flowers at all times of the year. Chris and Jessica are amazing to work with and will do their best to make your vision reality as well. I absolutely loved my flowers! They made everything so easy for me while using a variety of different purple and white flowers to add to our wedding colors. They were a perfect edition for our celebration. Thank you!

Working with Jessica and Chris was absolutely wonderful! Jessica listened to the type of flowers, bouquets I was looking for and used her own experience and creativity to go above and beyond. We had bouquets and boutonnieres made by Jessica and then ordered bulk flowers through their wholesale flower program. The bouquets were stunning, more than I could have dreamed of! The bulk flowers were perfect for us because we were able to create several collections of flowers in mason jars to be our centerpieces. It was fun being able to put these together with my Mom and bridesmaids the day before the wedding and the flowers provided by Jessica and Chris were perfect.

Every detail with Harmony Harvest farm was beautiful and elegant. I trusted these professionals to take my ideas of color and style and run with it! I was not the type of bride to control every aspect of what my vendors were providing me, but rather tell them my idea and let them use their professional expertise to deliver what they do best!! I was not disappointed. My bridal bouquet was bold, beautiful and traditional with flairs of "me" and "us" thrown in there. My husband's boutineer (spelling?) reflected the same details to make ours stand out from the rest of the bridal party. Brian and Jessica were a joy to work with, showed up on time, and had everything set up and torn down appropriately. Anytime I had questions, my calls, texts or emails were responded to promptly. I would 110% recommend Harmony Harvest for all of your flower needs.

Harmony Harvest Farm did the flowers for our daughter's vineyard wedding. We could not have been more pleased with the service and quality provided. The bouquets were absolutely gorgeous and remained fresh the entire week following the wedding. Jessica is truly an artist and she was able to capture the essence of what we wanted. Harmony Harvest was great. My flowers were unbelievably beautiful, and the entire ceremony and reception space looked amazing. She was very easy to work with, and very understanding and helpful, even when I wasn't sure what I wanted, and changed my mind constantly. She understood my vision and knew how to make it happen, even when I didn't. She was very organized and helpful on the day of the wedding, and when I got to the ceremony and reception space, she had gone above and beyond even what we talked about, using extra flowers she brought with her to add little touches everywhere. I had a lot of different requests going on in my contract, and she was totally on top of every detail and more. She worked well with my other vendors, including caterer, bakery, and hairstylist to create the perfect look. My only thought is that some rental items were a bit expensive, but everything turned out so beautifully.

Well recommended for a reason

My wedding planner recommended Harmony Harvest since we were planning our wedding in a very short six weeks (and during a pandemic to boot). We ordered bulk flowers to make our own bouquets, and we also used some for my hair and the cake, and the flowers were lovely, with a beautiful array of blooms in our wedding colors and complimentary colors. They were a touch pricier than anticipated, but overall the product was excellent quality!!!

Beautiful flowers

Harmony Harvest created such beautiful arrangements for our wedding. It was exactly as I had envisioned it, which is impressive that they were able to create it based on a few inspiration photos and our conversation. Jessica and Chris were a pleasure to work with and communication was easy. We especially loved the garland for our long table, decoration for our ceremony arbor, and the floral headband for our flower girl was so cute.

This mother and daughter operation is absolutely outstanding. Their flowers are beautiful and both of them are the kindest, warmest people you could hope to work with. They check and double check to make sure everything is perfect for you, they work with your budget, they show you the flowers they're growing for your event at their farm and their arrangements, I mean COME ON. We got SO many compliments on the flowers for our wedding and could not be happier that we chose this vender.

Harmony Harvest arranged the flowers for my daughter's wedding on October 8, 2017. The wedding was outside at The Columns at Six Penny Farm in McGaheysville, Va. with the Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop. Jess did a wonderful job using the beautiful rich berry colors of the bridesmaid dresses to arrange vibrant bouquets and boutonnieres. We had a simply gorgeous magnolia garland draped at the pergola where the ceremony took place highlighting the bride and groom during their vows. Jessica was a delight to work with. She obviously loves her work, and her enthusiasm and creativity make working with her a wonderful experience. She worked so well with me, listening carefully to what I wanted, giving me good ideas and lots of options, both in terms of money and designs. I never felt she pushed me to spend more. She was reliable and helpful. On the day of the event, she was there when she said she'd be, putting together a beautiful decor. I could not have asked for more. She is not inexpensive, but she's probably about what any florist would be.

Harmony Harvest was great to work with and the flowers were absolutely beautiful! It was great for my fall wedding and even though they were crazy busy they managed to fit my wedding in. The only complaint I have is the bridesmaids bouquets were very similar to mine, but that just means they were all super amazing!

Budget friendly and beautiful!

I had an expensive, "Pinterest-worthy" taste with a budget that didn't quite match... so, it was nice to find a florist without a $5,000+ minimum requirement that worked with my budget to make my vision come to life! All arrangements - the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages - were lovely; so much so, I sent some off after the wedding to be framed and turned into resins as keepsakes. Harmony Harvest put together some amazing pieces for my wedding!! I was blown away by the bouquets, boutonnieres, wine barrel decorations, and corsages! They were the perfect choice for our wedding. My one and only complaint is that they are not super responsive to emails. I usually waited around 2 days on average for responses. One time I waited almost 2.5 weeks for a response. It turned out there was some miscommunication with that waiting time. They were super personable and easy to work with other than communication!

After struggling to locate a source for wedding bouquets and table arrangements for our out-of-town wedding, I was lucky enough to find Harmony Harvest Farm, who provided farm fresh, beautiful flowers for our wedding in August 2016. Good, with two small complaints!

I had a very bad experience with a different florist and then about 3 months before my wedding a needed a change. Harmony Harvest Farm was very accommodating, which was great considering that I lived out of state. I did not particularly care much about flowers at my wedding, but knew I needed bouquets and centerpieces. I wanted very simple bouquets and centerpieces. I have two small complaints. First, I thought the centerpieces were SO expensive that I ended up doing my own for a fraction of the cost. I could not justify $1,200 dollars for 18 lanterns and some greenery. In addition, when I met with one of the women from the farm, I felt like I left the meeting confused. She knew I didn't quite know what I wanted but she had no pictures ready to help me decide. In addition, I stressed that I wanted all the bouquets, even mine, to be simple. The pictures she emailed me after the meeting were not simple and I felt like I had to repeat "no smaller, simpler" via email for weeks leading up to the wedding. However, the bouquets I ended up getting were beautiful and simple like I requested. They were delivered on time and it ended up being exactly what I wanted, despite some minor frustration along the way.

Disappointed

I hate that I’m leaving this review because I was most excited for my flower arrangements after booking Harmony Harvest. They really seemed like they would be awesome- they’re actually a farm and grow a lot of their flowers, and their instagram has so many beautiful pictures. I loved their vibe. However, I was really disappointed and sad over the whole experience for these reasons: 1. The flowers didn’t look anything like the final pictures I sent. When you book then you get a “file” and I sent them new photos multiple times and they kept sending me the old photos I had originally sent them. Something got lost in translation and conversations we had, and things we talked about, it’s like never happened. I do know that when you speak to the mom and not the owner who puts the arrangements together so there must be some miscommunication. Let me be clear, my flowers were beautiful, but they were nothingggggg like I imagined and nothing like i descended to them, as soon as I saw them I was so disappointed. 2. Our centerpieces were not what we talked about. They couldn’t do what we wanted because the glasses were too small. We agreed on one flower and two pieces of greenery per glass, three glasses per table. When i saw the pictures from the wedding, I saw one flower (which didn’t match the rest of our wedding, and was really thick-stemmed and not pretty) and greenery on the other glasses. Basically, it was absolutely not what we wanted...it was about a 1/3 of the product we paid for and didn’t match the rest of our flowers. The crappier part was I never contacted the day of (or afterwards) with them letting me know they couldn’t execute what we had a contract for. The worst part was I actually called them after the wedding and told them (the mom) and she said “well we used more flowers in other areas of the wedding so it all evened out.” I’m sorry, that is horrible business practice. If we had a contract for something, and it couldn’t happen for whatever reason, I should have been notified, and should have gotten that portion of my money back.

I’m still so sad about how the flowers turned out... it completely made the wedding look different than I had imagined.

If you book here, make sure you speak directly to the owner or sister, and not anyone else so nothing gets mixed up. I hate making this review because I love their business concept and they were very nice people, but after the phone call with them taking no responsibility for what happened and not offering me a portion of my money back, I feel like I have to tell people about what happened and leave a very honest review.

Harmony Harvest provided beautiful flowers for my wedding however, they were not what I was looking for. I sent them several pictures and we had multiple meetings about the flowers, but they did not deliver what they promised. The types of flowers, colors, and style of the arrangements were nothing like what we discussed or the pictures I sent. On top of this, they were disorganized and not great with communicating. I never felt like we were on the same page.
