  Above and beyond our expectations

  Angela photographed our September 15th wedding and was absolutely amazing! We could be more happy with our wedding photos! We have been getting comments for weeks from family and friends telling us how beautiful the photos were, We would HIGHLY recommend Angela to ANYONE looking for a photographer!

  You found your photographer

  I cannot recommend Angela enough. From my first inquiry to the delivery of our beautiful wedding photographs, she was kind, warm, focused, and professional. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and we look forward to working with her again. When we first began shopping around for a photographer, we naturally focused on the quality of the work, which brought me to Angela after seeing her work in a wedding blog. At the time we did not realize just how important it was to also have a photographer that focuses on what you want, is prepared and organized, and has a personality that works well with yours. We hit the jackpot with Angela and we are so incredibly grateful.
  
  Looking back, there was so, so much Angela did behind the scenes to truly maximize her time and talent to make sure she delivered a product that exceeded all our expectations. First, she reached out ahead of our wedding to meet us for the first time to get to know who we are and gain an understanding of exactly what we wanted and how she could deliver just that. We had a wonderful coffee date where we got to know each other and drew up a plan for our wedding day. We felt like we'd made a friend by the time we left! She created a schedule for the day that balanced the memories we wanted to preserve through her camera lens with our desire to still enjoy every aspect of the day we spent all year planning. We still enjoyed our cocktail hour with friends and family, yet also have beautiful portraits with our wedding party. She also spent time ahead of our event scouting beautiful places to shoot at our venue while paying close attention to the time of day she would be shooting and where the natural light would be. She fit those spots into the schedule of our day so she could grab those beautiful shots without taking us away for too long. When it's your wedding day, you so overwhelmed with all the love around you that the last thing you're thinking of is making sure your photographer gets all the shots you want. Angela had such a warm yet focused approach that she was able to wrangle all our family members, check every photo request off our list, and do so quickly without sacrificing quality. Looking through our album, we have EVERYTHING we asked for. And so much more.
  
  And brides, Angela has your back. There was a moment when I was first arriving at the venue and some guests had already arrived about an hour or so early (we did first look shots ahead of the ceremony). I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and Angela kicked into mode and began pretending as though she was directing me to a certain location, simply to save my sanity so I could have a few moments to myself. I was so thankful.
  
  I simply cannot say enough good things. We are so thankful for Angela.

  The most gorgeous photography!! There is no way I could ask for anything more and I feel so blessed/fortunate to have found Harlow Bliss. Angela, the photographer, is SO talented and so kind. Her work simply speaks for itself. Not being from the area (my wedding was in Verona, NY and I am originally from outside of NYC), I was worried about booking vendors and photography was so important to me! Ha, oddly enough, my dog's name is Harlow and when I first came across Harlow Bliss during an internet search I thought to myself, "Wow, wouldn't it be funny if this was meant to be?". I went to her website and honestly it immediately brought tears to my eyes (in a good way!! lol) - the music playing in the background was beautiful and the photographs were unlike anything I had ever seen before: all natural light! Our wedding package with Angela included an engagement shoot which was the PERFECT opportunity for us all to get to know one another and for my husband and I to start feeling comfortable in front of the camera. Angela is amazing at what she does and the pictures were unbelievable!! On our wedding day, she arrived super early to our venue to take detail shots of EVERYTHING - all the little important special touches :) She was there from start to finish and made sure to grab my husband and I for sunset pictures! The natural light that Angela uses in her work gives it an ethereal feel - it's just... magical. When you look at her photography you not only see what was happening in that moment, you FEEL what was happening in that moment. Her work, again, simply speaks for itself and you owe it to yourself to check out her website and Facebook. My husband and I COULD NOT be happier! When you book your photographer you're trusting them with capturing arguably the most important day of your life - we hired Harlow Bliss Photography to do precisely that. It was the greatest decision we ever made.

  What a wonderful experience! My husband and I do not do well with taking photos, but Harlow Bliss made it very fun and easy. Not to mention she is a very sweet woman! Her photographs are whimsical and beautiful! Simply timeless :)

  Angela at Harlow Bliss was outstanding. My husband and I were looking for a natural light photographer. Angela was a little more than we had planned on spending but we decided to go for it, hoping that the investment would pay off. We had our engagement photos with her first and she made us feel so comfortable. The photographs turned out amazing and we knew right then that we made the right decision. In the months leading up to our wedding, I reached out to Angela multiple times for referrals on other vendors she may know. She went above and beyond and gave me advice and excellent vendor referrals, making my wedding planning that much easier. On the day of our wedding, Angela was calm, professional, and prompt making sure our timeline stayed intact and that we got all of the shots we wanted. She was willing to travel wherever we wanted to take pictures and stayed 9 hours with us that day!! If you are looking for a photographer, don’t look any further! She did a phenomenal job and really knows how to capture those special moments and make sure you get exactly what you are paying for. Worth every penny!!!

  Angela was excellent to work with and was like having a friend with us along the way. She was pleasant and professional to all of our family members while keeping order in the chaos surrounding her. She gave us enough space to enjoy our day, but would also ask if we would mind taking another shot in certain lighting. Angela was truly a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her to any bride!

  Angela did a fantastic job as our wedding photographer. She captured every magical moment perfectly. Angela was always available to help and answer questions before the big day and afterwards put together a memorable album with all the days highlights. Angela's work is easily one of the best in central New York. I would recommend her to anyone with no hesitation!

  STAY AWAY! Our biggest mistake of our wedding was hiring Angela. Here’s a brief rundown of everything she did wrong.
  1) I requested a second shooter and additional hours over a year before the wedding. During the rehearsal the night before the wedding, Angela called me to tell me she didn’t have a second shooter lined up.
  2) She did not come early enough to our house to start taking pictures and because of that and no second shooter, She got no getting ready pictures (which I specifically asked for) only 2 poses of the bridesmaids and in one of the poses, the two bridesmaids faces on the right were blurry.
  3) the only picture of the family pose she took, my brother and sister in laws faces a blurry.
  4)multiple pictures of my husband and I were out of focus.
  5) she never took pictures of our rings
  6) she did not edit out the bruise and scar on my arm and a couple flies that were on me.
  7)There were multiple pictures that were missing. She was missing a picture of me with one of my bridesmaids, picture of my husband and his siblings, a group shot that I was looking forward to. I asked where all of the pictures were. She “found” the first two and said that her camera must have “froze” up during the group shot because she didn’t have it.
  8) I told her I wanted pictures at the reception and dancing pictures. She took hardly any and the ones she did... were all of my husbands side of the family. Now I understand that she didn’t know whose guests were whose but she stayed on one side of the dance floor. She didn’t move. I asked if she had anymore and she found a picture of my brother and sister in law (who were in the bridal party so she knew who they were) and she found one of a husband and wife couple (who she photographed their sons wedding a few months before mine- so she knew who they were too). She does not give you all of the pictures of your memories- I’m assuming because they didn’t turn out
