DJ Carrell was kind and fun during our experience working with him. The portal that they use to upload our requests and content was super easy to use. And the reception was SO much fun! We had guests on the dance floor all night and even told us how good of a job he did. It was an absolute party!

Our wedding experience
DJ Harlem was our DJ for our wedding day on July 12. He was absolutely fantastic! He made the planning process easy and he helped us with each decision and step along the way, giving advice to help us make the best selections. His set up was very cool. We also got the white dance floor installed at our venue and it looked gorgeous. I think he truly values the couples that he works with and their special day. We had a blast!! ☺️

Absolute non-stop party all night!
We booked with DJ QFocus via DJ Harlem for our wedding and or wedding was completely off the hook. We provided a rough playlist and let QFocus do the rest. He worked his magic an there was not one dull moment the whole night. Couple things that made our night perfect. QFocus was an MC which means he has a speaking ability to introduce the couple, but also hype the crowd up, he blended the songs masterfully which allowed a nonstop playlist, he absolutely cared that everyone was dancing and lastly his hype was contagious and made us hype too!
We also booked the mirror me booth which was an absolute hit!
We keep joking we gonna get married again so we can repeat this party!

The best part of our night!
The music at our wedding was such a huge hit and we couldn't imagine our wedding day without Anthony/DJ Harlem! The lighting, tracks, sound system and Anthony's MC'ing were all phenomenal. Our wedding had incredible energy throughout the evening and Anthony made that all happen! When it came to planning our wedding, having a phenomenal DJ was one of our priorities. DJ Harlem came highly recommend by our wedding planner and we're so glad we were able to book him for our special day. From the beginning DJ Harlem was very professional and organized. The planning and music request form he provides are very user friendly and allowed us to have a say so in what music we wanted played and when. We requested a variety of Latin, Afrobeat, and Hip hop music to be played and he had our dance floor packed the whole night. He exceeded our expectations for our wedding and truly made our day the best day ever. We will definitely be using his services again. You have to book him. I promise you won't regret it!

Anthony was absolutely amazing!! At the last minute my venue told me I would not be able to have the dancing on a cloud effect. Well Anthony educated them that it is not the same as a fog machine. DJ Harlem really was what made our big day run so smoothly. I ended up having some issues with the Venus, but Anthony made my day feel stress free and he ran the show so smoothly. I even had a little emergency and asked him to shut things down, but when things calmed down he set back up and kept the party going. He was incredibly kind and accommodating and did everything he could to make my special day memorable. The music he played was fun, and we danced the night away. DJ Harlem was such a joy to work with! We had a magical wedding and many of the most memorable moments from that day stemmed from his talent and collaborative efforts with our other vendors. Everything from DJ Harlem’s cloud machine, to his incredible work with our choir and strings musicians were impressive. You can always gauge the tone and reaction of a wedding from a guest’s perspective by the amount of people dancing and having a good time and our dance floor remained packed!! Great Playlist for a Great Party!
Working with DJ Harlem for our wedding was such a great decision. From the very beginning when we were making our decisions on which vendors to hire, he was so easy to communicate with. The music was one of the most important pieces of our reception, and he recognized that and gave us all the time we needed to ask questions and discuss our vision. Throughout the whole planning process, he was very responsive to any communications. The template is easy to work with and really helped organize our plan for the ceremony and reception. The day of our wedding, DJ Harlem was the reason everything ran smoothly! He was awesome at reading the crowd and playing songs that would keep people on the dance floor. Our wedding guests spanned 5 generations, and he played music that got all of them out there. And when we had mishaps with our planners, DJ Harlem seamlessly picked up the slack and helped make our night magical. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone. He helped make our wedding exactly what we had hoped for!

I chose a DJ over a band because it was more my style and I do not regret it. I have worked with many DJs for family events and I was connected with Anthony through my wedding planner. From our first meeting, he was responsive, professional and intuitive. He worked through our reception program (introductions, first dance, cake cutting, etc.) flawlessly, dinner music enhanced the mood and was always at the right volume and then he kept the dance floor full until the last dance! I have been to many wedding with DJs and bands and Anthony was by far the best. He also provides cool extras like a photo booth, GOBO light for the dance floor and more. If I could do my wedding again, I'd call Anthony again.

Working with Anthony was wonderful. We had met with a slew of unprofessional or overpriced DJ’s so when we met Anthony, we were so thankful. He was happy to meet with us at Starbucks for an initial consultation and go over all of our expectations. He paid attention to detail and had a very helpful and organized platform to organize our must-play song requests, complete with a timeline. We scheduled a call to go over everything a couple of weeks before the wedding so that we were both on the same page. Anthony was super professional and kind throughout the entire experience both to us and to our guests. He stuck to our music requests and did not mispronounce a name or mess up once. His planning tools helped us to personalize our music, but he went a step further and talked us through how we could build a special cocktail hour playlist and use rare tracks for the ceremony. He had real turntables and always knew what to play to keep young and old on the dance floor, including a mix of Latin and our favorites. He was always responsive by email, and nailed every announcement and extra ask we had of him. The up lights and other options added that little something something for our reception. DJ Harlem was excellent during our wedding. He was very responsive and flexible with our last minute song changes and requests for additional mics. Everyone had a great time during the reception! My husband requested Haitian music and DJ Harlem was amazing at mixing in the Haitian music with the other hip hop songs we requested. I would absolutely use DJ Harlem again and recommend him to others!

Anthony was amazing to work with for our wedding. Planning a wedding from across the country is very challenging, especially when you're unable to meet your vendors in person. We scheduled a call with Anthony and from the moment we spoke to him, we knew that he would be the perfect choice! He was extremely nice, listened to our needs, and flexible with his schedule due to our time difference. He even combined two songs for our first dance like we wanted! On the day of the wedding, Anthony came early with an assistant to set everything up. He helped us in picking up the uplighting color. The ceremony music sounded great and it was all very smooth and seamless. During the reception, he did an amazing job at being the MC and keeping the show running. Our guests were loving DJ Harlem and his music, and he knew just what to play to make sure everyone was having a great time even though we had a very diverse wedding reception. Finally, I would recommend adding the Photobooth option! I added this about a month before the wedding as I wasn't entirely sure, but it was the hit of the night! Our guests absolutely loved it and there was a long line at all times for the photobooth. Anthony brings all the props and the mirror is so cool along with the red carpet. You get printouts and also the electronic versions later! And you get to customize the frame and put the bride & groom's name along with the wedding date. I cannot recommend DJ Harlem enough. You won't regret hiring him!! Thank you, Anthony, for making our wedding so memorable and fun for us and for our guests!!!

Anthony was professional from our first interaction. My mother found Anthony via social media. He was one of 4 DJs that we interviewed. By far he was the most professional and organized of all the ones we spoke to. WELL WORTH EVERY DOLLAR. Because we were having a destination wedding, all of our communication was via email and phone calls. Anthony was responsive to any and all requests. His website was easy to follow and submit songs. On our wedding day he kept the flow going, he pronounced everyone's name correctly and he kept the party going. We are in our early 30's so we requested that he provide us with the full turn up. Our friends are dancers and so are we. His response, "I got you! Say no more." People are still raving about how fun and energized our reception was. It's been over a month now. We had a lot of fun throughout the reception and a good reason for this is because Anthony read the crowd, he followed the script we agreed on and filled in the blanks where needed. I would recommend Anthony to all of my friends and family. I left my wedding drenched in sweat and so did all of our friends and family. Thank you Anthony for holding us down on our wedding day!

Always available, always ready, he provided dancing on the cloud as a surprise for me (he and my husband had it all planned well in advance) and while my husband was singing a surprise song to me Anthony was on his knees with the machine making sure it was absolutely perfect for our first dance! We loved having DJ Harlem at our wedding! All of our guests were raving about how great the music was! He made the party incredibly fun and live, and it was clear that our guests were having a great time. His planning tools leading up to the wedding made it super easy to pick the songs that we did and didn't want to play, and he made us feel confident going into the wedding that everything was under control. He was also a great MC and extremely flexible with last-minute changes. Also, we had a wedding that mixed Nigerian and American cultures, and DJ Harlem was able to flawlessly weave together different kinds of music so that all types of guests would enjoy. DJ Harlem, aka Anthony, was amazing! He was a true professional and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. He kept the party moving and the people dancing. While we were preparing for the wedding, Anthony was on top of all the communication and went out of his way for some of our music request. The software he uses makes it so easy to select must play and do not play songs. We are not originally from Raleigh so we were a bit worried about selecting a 'random' DJ off wedding wire however, Anthony put our minds at ease immediately. He was so courteous and in-tune with our music selections that we couldn't have asked for more. He also provided up-lighting as part of our package which was a great addition - he could even change the color of the lights on-demand through an app :) . Anthony is a total pro and any wedding would benefit from his services!

Booking our wedding DJ was the last vendor that we hired two months before our wedding, but you would never know by the way Anthony (aka DJ Harlem) delivered! Prior to hiring Anthony, we had a difficult time selecting a DJ for various reasons. However, when we scheduled our phone consultation with Anthony, we knew we had to hire him. We live in the Washington DC area, hosted our wedding in Durham/Cary, and working with Anthony from afar was seamless. We were very impressed by his professionalism and the fact the he gave us a preview of his planning tools totally sealed the deal for us (most DJ's will not provide this information to you until you hire them). Logistically, Anthony coordinated our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at two venues (21c and The Umstead) and served as our MC/DJ. Fast forward to our wedding day and DJ Harlem kept the dance floor hot! He read the crowd to a tee and we've got some great video to confirm how awesome of a time our guests had! Together, we even created a memorable cake cutting song that I'm sure he'll use in the future because it definitely was a highlight for our party!

We have received the most compliments on our DJ and everyone has been telling us how much fun they had at the wedding. My main request was to keep the dance floor alive and DJ Harlem definitely delivered! It was packed all night long and I never thought I would wish for a larger dance floor! The up lighting he provided was gorgeous and really helped to set the mood at the venue. When the dancing started, the lights all changed colors which created an awesome party vibe. When I was looking for a DJ, I wanted someone that could cater to the many genres of music we like ranging from top 40 and hip hop to salsa and merengue since we have a very diverse group of family and friends. We hired DJ Harlem for our wedding ceremony and reception. My husband wanted to be in charge of hiring the DJ. We were not disappointed. He had many songs available to pick from to accommodate people of all ages in attendance. He worked well with everyone, especially my wedding planner. She gave him a list of songs and when those songs should be played. He did a wonderful job. We all had fun and danced until we could not dance anymore. My father-in-law was in the bathroom at the time that he was scheduled to give his toast (lol), but Anthony (who was our MC as well) was able to smoothly keep things moving along until he came back. Our guests never even noticed the snafu!!! We would recommend him to anyone who wants a quality, professional DJ at their wedding.

We could not have picked a better DJ than Anthony! He was so quick in his responses, very detail oriented in ensuring that we got absolutely everything that we wanted, and did an AMAZING job of picking the perfect music to get both sides of our family on the dance floor at our wedding - which is a close to impossible task! He was incredibly professional, made the transitions and set-up smooth and seamless, and the guests (including ourselves) absolutely loved him!!

DJ Harlem was wonderful! From the very beginning he wanted to make sure that our day was exactly as we wanted it to be. He offers as many consultations as you wish and is very flexible in terms of days/times to meet. Our guests had the best time dancing -- the most dancing at a wedding that I and my photographer have every seen!

We could not have imagined having another DJ at our wedding! DJ Harlem was not only very professional, but was a pro at his job! He went exactly by the timeline I had planned, and if it differed from one minute, he was sure to ask me if I was okay with it. Our wedding guests had a blast! I didn't feel like my wedding venue would be complete without uplighting , I contacted Dj Harlem he responded to me within 30 minutes he was well organized gave me pricing info ( best prices ) and he made it very easy for me to make payments electronically since we don't live in the same town. On the day of my wedding he came set up my lights without having to hassle me and they were absolutely beautiful completely transformed my venue. I would definitely work with him again he's very professional , the process is hassle free , he has the best prices , and he made my venue look great . Dj Harlem was a lifesaver!!!

DJ Harlem was very professional throughout the entire process leading up to my wedding. DJ Harlem was flexible with my busy schedule when I needed to meet with him in person and via phone once I moved out of state. I had previously booked a DJ for my wedding and about a month before the big day, had to find a new one! With it being so close to the event date, I was so stressed out and did not know if I would be able to find one in time or not that did not already have my date booked. After sending out 5 different emails to various DJs, Anthony is the only one that replied on that same day and within 3 hours of sending mine. I CANNOT brag enough about how wonderful he was for our wedding! He was so organized with his online planning sheets and made it so convenient for me as a bride. He was at the wedding several hours before the ceremony was to begin and had his equipment set up asking if there were any other areas he could help in. All in all I would recommend him as a DJ for any event and for anyone who asked me! Not to mention the prices are great! Thank you so much DJ Harlem! You were an amazing and vital part to our perfect day!

Anthony was incredibly professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very flexible, had access to any song we could think of, and is one of the kindest people we have met. He arrived well before our ceremony to set up and he worked throughout the day to make sure everything went smoothly. It was great to be able to put our music and schedule in the hands of Anthony and be able to trust that he had everything under control and would do an excellent job at that. We were very impressed!

DJ Harlem was a great last minute addition to our wedding. We almost decided to forgo a DJ due to the intimate, low key vibe of the day we planned. However, a recommendation from a friend caused us to reach out to him and we quickly changed our mind. His level of professionalism impressed us from the start and we knew the day would run much better with him handling the sound for the ceremony and music for the reception. He is super organized, has planning tools that make it easy to communicate your wants and needs, and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the day of your dreams. He brought in all the equipment we needed, had a great attitude and most importantly, did a great job as DJ and MC. If you are looking for a superior experience on your wedding day, do yourself a favor and contact DJ Harlem.

Anthony was an amazing DJ. He was reasonably priced, and I got more than my money's worth. I booked him ONE MONTH before our wedding, and he was so helpful and worked quickly. He is definitely the way to go if you are in need of a DJ for your wedding.

Best DJ Company hands down!! We received calls from our guest a few weeks after letting us know how festive our reception was and it was never a dull moment on the dance floor. We are so happy DJ Harlem was referred to us, his experience and professionalism really sets the bar for vendors. Out of all the vendors we worked with for our wedding, DJ harlem was by far the best at offering suggestions and helping us understand the process when planning. His online planning guides are very helpful, we were able to print and save all of our progress and then submit to him once we were done. His services are outstanding and pricing was definitely competitive based on DJ's in the area. Planning tools were worth it alone!! AWESOME!!

When they say they have unlimited consultations free of charge! they mean it!, up until the day of my wedding, I met with DJ Harlem roughly 10 times and he always came ready to help me with suggestions and turning my vision into reality.
