I absolutely love Harbour View! I got married on October 5, 2024 and everything was so perfect! I couldn’t have had a better venue and team! Carey, Amy, and Willow are so professional, kind, and talented! The venue is beautiful, clean, and romantic! The views are amazing and the venue is somewhat secluded so it makes the vibe more intimate. My wedding day was so magical and I owe it all to them! ❤️

I can’t begin to explain how great and awesome Kevin Bates was for my mom's 80th birthday celebration. He was very thoughtful in his planning and collaboration with us prior to mom's party. Always so professional, respectful, and joyful to work with him. Kevin and Dave are truly the best in this industry. They were both so thorough in ensuring everything would proceed as smooth as possible. Black Tie Entertainment and the team (Willow) at Harbour View will always be our pick. My family and I would Highly recommended Black-tie Entertainment for all your events. Big or small they are best. Kevin really knows how to get people on the dance floor! He dressed nicely and was very professional! Dave is a pleasure to work with you and your team!
Our guests could not stop talking about how much fun mom's 80th birthday was, and how they had such a great time.
We have found our DJ for any future events that come our way. We had an absolute blast!

Beautiful Wedding Venue
This was my dream wedding. This venue is so beautiful and elegant. I had so much compliments of how beautiful my wedding was and everyone loved the Harbor and garden scenery. Awesome experience!
This venue is gorgeous! We had toured a few venues and when we came across Harbour View, we both knew this was where we wanted to get married. Brittany was our POC and day of coordinator and she was always very attentive to our questions and made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible the day of. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I had our Vow Renewal ceremony and reception at Harbor View. The location, staff were incredible. We had a wonderful night. Staff assisted and remained there during our event. They couldn't of been more helpful. The price of our event was very reasoneable. Would recommend Harbor View to everyone.

Impeccably Coordinated & Executed Multi-cultural Wedding at the Harbour View!
We had our wedding reception at the Harbour View on 9/25/21 and we can't stop thinking about how perfectly executed our event was, with the help of Brittany and her day-of coordination services. We booked the venue because of how beautiful it is, both inside and outside - the waterfront grounds are gorgeous and we were able to use them for incredible photos. My husband's sister had her wedding there a few years back and we were so impressed by the place and we booked our event right at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, a bit fearful of the unknown but the coordinator at the time, Lisa made us feel reassured of the force-majeure clause built into the contract, and how they had worked with other couples during the difficult situation the pandemic presented so we went ahead and booked. We had a long lead-time for our wedding but Lisa and eventually Brittany made sure to check in with us periodically to see if we needed anything, had us fill out any info to help them create the day-of timeline, eventually coordinated with our DJ and catering company (which Lisa had helped us narrow down too and they turned out to be exceptional too!) and Brittany helped ensure an impeccable event during our wedding day. I cannot say enough great things about Brittany, I didn't realize how much work went into a well-coordinated wedding of our size (130 guests), with a multicultural focus (we're Mexican & Bolivian), and all of the different cultural requests we had, but Brittany helped us along every step of the way, was incredibly flexible, open-minded, enthusiastic and never made us feel bad about any of our questions or requests. She helped accommodate every request in her power and helped our vision come true without a hitch. The day of, my husband and I enjoyed our event fully without any stress whatsoever, as Brittany had taken care of everything we asked for, she even came up to me once or twice to let me know we were 5 minutes behind schedule to do the toasts and if that was okay and I asked her to continue as our guests were having so much fun dancing to our Mariachi band music. That attention to detail - checking in about being just 5 minutes behind schedule was so great to see! Brittany made everything so easy for me and my husband, for our parents, and wedding party, she ensured that our catering company and bartenders kept us happy with food and drinks, and helped put a lot of the finishing touches in our decor/set up and ensured such a smooth event. So many of our guests came up to us and raved about how incredibly coordinated our event was, and how much they enjoyed it because of that. I am going to miss working with Brittany now that our event is over, but we look forward to the next opportunity for us to be at the Harbour View and work with Brittany again!

Best Venue in Northern Virginia
Harbour View was an absolutely amazing venue to get married at. We had both our ceremony and reception at Harbour View. Our guests are still raving at how perfect the venue was. Stellar Service, Beautiful Venue!
The entire team at Harbour View is wonderful. I started planning my wedding in late summer/early fall of 2019. I visited a few other venues, but none were as flexible, accommodating, or warm and welcoming as Harbour View. I worked closely with Lisa to plan and coordinate all the events leading up to my originally-scheduled March 2020 wedding. Unfortunately, COVID cancelled my wedding with 6-days’ notice. Lisa was extremely kind and allowed us to postpone our wedding, not once, but twice. We eventually re-scheduled for May 2021. By the time our new date rolled around, Lisa had sold Harbour View to Dave. The entire transition process was flawless. My day-of coordinator was Brittany and she was extremely kind, patient, and organized. She helped us plan for the big day, and I had zero worries going into the actual wedding reception that things wouldn’t go as planned. We could not have made our reception possible without Dave and Brittany’s commitment to seeing our party through—from every fine preparation detail, to the final minutes of execution. My only regret is that I didn’t contract for more time. The day went by too quickly. I received SO many compliments from guests during and after the reception that everyone LOVED the venue. It’s such a beautiful spot right on the river and it really makes you feel like you’re outside of the DC bustle and traffic. Dave, Brittany, and the entire team at Harbour View are wonderfully professional people and I would trust them with any wedding or celebration again in the future!

Amazing venue for our COVID-era wedding!
The entire Harbour View staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating. They were extremely responsive via email and were very flexible as our plans changed many times during the pandemic. The team was very responsive to emails and are wonderful at event planning. I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day and was really able to enjoy it because I knew we were in good hands. On top of that, the venue is gorgeous. The open air veranda overlooking the marina is gorgeous and perfect for a ceremony or cocktail hour, and the ballroom and wraparound balcony provided nice outside space to take advantage of the view. Would highly recommend!

I’m getting married in a few days. During this pandemic my venue canceled on me last minute. Lisa and her staff were able to work with me on a tight schedule. It’s a one stop shop. It’s like having your own wedding planner. They are professional, knowledgeable and great to work with. I would highly recommend them. Their prices are reasonable considering all they offer. I’m so excited and grateful I was able to find them.

Choosing Harbour View as our wedding venue was hands down the best planning decision we made for our wedding day and leading up to it. The help we received in both planning and on our wedding day from the HV staff was above and beyond. They quickly responded to any question we had for them- big or small- and were flexible when scheduling meeting(s) leading up to our big day. As a couple, they made us feel extremely special and as if they were more like a friend- they truly want your day to be the best day ever for you and will go the extra mile to make it happen. They made our wedding day run SO SEAMLESS and perfect, we had no clue if there were any issues going on behind the scenes. They also took our wedding day vision and amplified it to be exactly what we wanted and more. They are true professionals through and through and I recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!

I am a bit late just realizing I had never saved my review for this venue...let me tell you they are amazing. First and foremost the venue is right off the water and it’s absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Our ceremony and reception took place in the evening so you can just imagine how breathtaking it was (I am still getting compliments on our ceremony and reception). From the owner Lisa, to Katelyn, Andrea and all the other ladies that assisted in making our day our day so special....1000x thank you! The ladies at Harbour View really make you feel like you are home and like you are part of the family. They quite literally are with you EVERY step of the way. The ladies GENUINELY have your best interest at heart and when they say they are there to relieve you of the STRESSORS wedding planning - that is the TRUTH. The ladies make themselves available for you to assist in any and every way. It’s not a situation where you pay for the venue and then you’re on your own. They quite literally are like wedding planners, personal assistants and advisors all wrapped into one and on top of that are so pleasant to work with. I mean it is absolutely a FULL SERVICE arrangement when working with these amazing ladies during time an enjoyable (yet stressful and emotionally draining time that is wedding planning).
Even some of the other vendors that we hired had nothing but positive things to say about Harbour View. I could literally write you a full length novel on how great my experience was with Harbour View and how beautiful our even turned out.
All I can say is that you can’t go wrong choosing Harbour View!!!

We honestly can't sing enough praises for the Harbour View team. From start to finish, the staff worked tirelessly to make sure that our day went smoothly. They set up the decorations we dropped off, packed our catering leftovers and gifts into our cars before the end of the reception, and even gave us a beautiful personalized gift themselves. The staff works very hard to ensure that bride and groom are not stressed with logistics and timekeeping on the day of the event. Any time that I did ask whether I was behind schedule (e.g. when I was getting dressed before the ceremony), my day-of coordinator, Amanda, reassured me and let me know that regardless of timing, the staff would make sure that my day went the way I wanted it to - which it definitely did. Very professional/organized team, but more importantly: they really give each client their full attention, even though they have lots of other events to plan. They're truly amazing people and the venue is gorgeous. I'd recommend them to anyone.

A Dream Come True
Working with Harbour View was a dream come true! Our coordinator, Katelyn, was so awesome! Throughout the planning processing she was extremely helpful and forward-thinking. On the day of our wedding Katelyn and her team went above and beyond to ensure our desired decor was laid out appropriately and to keep our timeline on track. The Best Venue
This venue went above and beyond for my wedding! They were super responsive and as soon as I met Katelyn, I knew I wanted her as my go to planner at Harbour View. Her and all the other ladies are a life saver from random questions to ideas they provided.
One thing I loved about this venue is that it comes with sooo much including decor and people to set up some decor. I loved that they were meticulous like I am and combed over all details at my final meeting. I also loved that they worked well with my wedding planner. It was like my planner had an extended team. This venue is sooo open and allows you to bring in your own liquor which saved me thousands of dollars.
The venue is beautiful and close to the water so that goes without saying. The only downside is when its hot in the warmer months, the Veranda get pretty hot and I got married 9/28/19. But they had the air pumping in the ballroom upstairs. Also, the bride and groom rooms to get ready are pretty warm even though they have fans so we brought our own.
My favorite memory is my now husband and I receiving stiff drinks to help us calm down from all the craziness of just getting married and getting ready for the turn up at the reception.
Harbour View took good care of me and I have so many great memories there. Thank you!

If I had to do it all again, I would choose Harbour View EACH AND EVERY TIME. I have never met a group on my life that has been so professional, so welcoming, and so amazing in my whole entire life. Our wedding went off without a hitch because of the wonderful staff at Harbour View. Amanda and T were our day of coordinators and they rocked it! T never left my side and made sure that everything I needed was provided. She was literally my best friend of the day. From providing makeup touchups to making sure we stayed on schedule. She was my voice and my rock and I thank God for her. Amanda, took control and made sure that our whole event was flawless. If I had to describe her in one word it would be extraordinary. These ladies are so good at what they do. Not to mention that they are an all female run business so...GIRL POWER!!!! I felt so at ease on our big day and it's because of the exemplary service that Harbour View provided. The venue is gorgeous and they can customize it to look exactly the way you want it. Once you're in, you're family and it feels just like home. Hire these ladies. You will not be disappointed!

I just had my wedding 10/10/19 and Andrea was our coordinator! We had a 2 year engagement and we got to really know Andrea over that time and feel comfortable with her! When we had minor hiccups Andrea was there to remind me everything was fine! You could tell she was so ecstatic to be part of our day! She was so impressive and really did want us to be as stress free as possible! Our guests wanted to give her a huge shout out as well!! She made our wedding day such a dream!!! We still can’t believe all of her love and support for us! By the end of the night my husband called her “Auntie Andrea” so that should tell you how great she was!! Harbour View was such a dream and our guests loved it so much! I have zero regrets about anything at Harbour View it was flawless!!

Excellent venue and coordinators, would recommend to anyone!
Harbour View is a beautiful location, and the staff there were SO helpful to us! They take on the duties of a day-of-coordinator, and so much more. Our POC was very responsive to my questions all along the way, helped me brainstorm any issues, and are incredibly friendly. They really went above and beyond - for example, our HV coordinator ran our rehearsal, did 99% of the work of bustling my dress, and independently found ways to use our ceremony flowers to bump up the decor in the reception area. They were truly spectacular and amazing to work with, I can't say enough good things.

Perfect day!
I can't say enough good things about the staff at Harbour View! They were so helpful throughout our wedding planning process and really took care of everything behind the scenes on the big day. I didn't have to worry about a thing! They were super responsive and took the time to answer all of our questions along the way. I highly recommend Lisa and her team to anyone planning a wedding in the DC area.

A memorable wedding
Friendly staff to work with. Very flexible in terms of solving problems with other parties involve. For example we had issues with the decoration one week before the wedding date. But, harbor view coordinated the meeting and found a solution. Because of their commitment and flexibility we had a very successful and memorable event.

Best venue all over
I fell in love with this venue and Lisa from our first appointment. I did visit and meet with other venues but the communication just wasn’t there. The venues and location just did not even compare. Amanda was super quick about responding to all my questions. Lisa is super bubbly and made me feel like more then just a customer. On the day of the wedding everything went according to plan and I felt at ease which is typically hard for me! I couldn’t thank them enough for the entire experience they made it super easy for me to plan our wedding in 4 months!

Absolutely Amazing!
I fell in love with Harbour View the first time I visited which was three years before I set a wedding date! This venue is a "hidden gem" and the staff is remarkable! I just got married last month and my wedding day was PERFECT! Katelyn and the HV family did an awesome job and she was absolutely amazing from the beginning of our plans to the very end. I am so glad we chose them and I highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for an awesome, professional and organized staff as well as a BEAUTIFUL venue with an option to have an outdoors (but covered) ceremony with a huge, beautiful ballroom. The Best Decision
I do not even know where to begin other than. Number one. This is the best wedding venue in the DMV. Yes it's far but it's more than worth it. It's beautiful, on the water, and the team is fantastic. Most venues do not assist with any type of coordination or planning but Katelyn and the harbour view team was fantastic and thorough. They made sure that every T was crossed and every I was dotted. I can't explain how thankful I am we decided to go with Harbour View and how lucky I am to have had Katelyn as my day of coordinator. Simply put she is an ANGEL. My wedding was absolutely perfect and it was all thanks to the Harbour View team.

My wide and I recently hosted our wedding reception at Harbour View in April. We were suppose to have wedding in August, but due to family emergencies, the date had to be moved forward. Harbour View staff did an exceptional job in understanding our difficult circumstances and were very flexible with their schedules. In such a short notice, Harbour View staff (Rachel) did an amazing job making sure our special day when smoothly and accordingly as planned. This event space/company is extremely well managed and most importantly organized. They will go above and beyond to make sure all of your vendors are on the same page with the event staff and the wedding party. Our wedding reception was extremely memorable and we are so glad that we choose Harbour View for our once in a life time moment !!!

Incredible venue with truly outstanding staff
We selected Harbour View as the venue for our son's reception after looking at several other places. And we could not have made a better decision. This place is amazing in every way. Beautiful location on the Occoquan river with a very pretty backdrop of boats and bridges. Both ballrooms are huge and nicely decorated, and The Sewell's Point Ballroom has a large dance floor. Being able to step out on the balconies from anywhere and being closer to the water is a bonus on a good weather day. And the staff - every one of them - are responsive, courteous, professional and a joy to work with. They go out of their way in every way to help you make your event a success, and when they ask you to leave all the stress and worrying to them, they really do mean it! Megan, and everyone else we worked with, did everything they could - and a lot more - from day one right through the day of our event. Every detail was planned and executed to perfection. Harbour View also gives you a ton of flexibility, from choice of caterers to being able to provide your own drinks, and they work with C&G Event Rentals & Service who also do a great job and make everything seamless. This venue, and its staff, does truly exceed your expectations.

We couldn't have asked for more from a Wedding Venue!
We had the most amazing wedding at Harbour View! The venue was perfect and the staff was absolutely the best! From day one we felt like we were a priority for them. They were with us every step of the way. Since we didn't have a wedding planner, their assistance was extremely helpful in ensuring we covered all the bases and we had the perfect wedding! Planning meetings, coordinating the event, and day event planning were all taken care of by the venue. We didn't have to worry about anything. They really took care of us and made our wedding day both enjoyable AND stress free.
The venue is beautiful and flows well. It is on the water by the docks. The breezeway where we had the ceremony provides shelter from the weather (it actually rained on our wedding day, but it didn't affect the wedding ceremony at all). After the ceremony the guests went upstairs for cocktail hour. After that they simply opened the doors to the ball room where we had a beautiful wedding reception!
We compared costs with other venues in the DC metro area and found Harbour View to be more than competitive; especially since they provide "day of" event planning. We couldn't be happier with the way things turned out! They are truly top notch! We highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a great venue!

Winter Wedding
The staff at Harbour View are amazing. Katelyn helped us with so much. When I dropped my stuff off the day before for them to set up, I told her basically what I wanted and she did the rest. I just said “make it look pretty” and she did! I’d recommend Harbour View to anyone looking for a venue. They made the day way less stressful than it could have been.

An Unforgettable Experience!!
Jon and I are so incredibly THANKFUL for the team at Harbour View! We want to give out a HUGE shoutout to Katelyn and her team for making sure that our day went as smoothly as possible! Her positive attitude and professionalism went above and beyond. From handling some transportation issues and running a rehearsal with a blaring boat horn to fixing a complicated bustle, Katelyn could handle it ALL! At the end of it all, the Harbour View staff even gifted us with a personalized paddle to display in our house! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and provides fantastic photo opportunities along the Occoquan River. Harbour View was the perfect choice for our wedding!
We are so lucky we found Harbour View. The venue layout was perfect for our unique needs, but the staff are what really made our process and day incredible.
My husband and I had a multicultural wedding with two ceremonies in the same day. The space at HV allowed us to have one ceremony in the morning on the second floor, move into lunch, then a second ceremony in the evening on the first floor, followed by cocktail hour and reception, all without having to re-use the same space back-to-back. Also, the view of the marina is beautiful, especially in a lovely autumn sunset! There's plenty of parking and space to accommodate our guest count of over 140. Our bride and groom suites were comfortable and spacious enough to suit our needs.
Now, onto the amazing staff. Katelyn was our coordinator and worked with us through every step of the process, from signing to overseeing the entire day of. This was really important to us given the complexity of the day. Katelyn, Rachel (who handled the second half of our day), and all the ladies at HV were so patient and helpful with our many questions and emails throughout the process to make sure our vision was realized. Katelyn and Rachel really made us feel like they were personally invested, and they did so much WORK on our day, including setting up a mandap with their own hands the night before and morning of! They had great ideas and helped us understand what to expect and how best to plan out the day. We were so grateful for the chance to drop off supplies early to minimize the amount of rushing on the morning of to get everything ready, and everything ended up going very smoothly. The decorations the HV staff set up were beautiful, and they had great recommendations for other vendors.
When we booked HV, we had read that the coordinators are great at making your day easy and stress-free, and that's exactly what we got. As a couple who planned their entire wedding on their own, with minimal experience, the staff at HV were invaluable for organizing and coordinating a whole-day event with two ceremonies, two meals, a cocktail hour, and reception. Their help took so much pressure off my husband and I as well as our families! Everyone enjoyed the day and loved the venue. In the end, we got a great value in both price and above-and-beyond service. Thank you HV for helping to make our day so magical!

Beautiful wedding
We are very glad that we chose Harbour View for our big day. We loved the venue, but also all of our guests loved it. They especially loved that they had access to the balcony with the water view during our cocktail hour.
The staff was very friendly, flexible and professional. HV let us have our dog as our ring bearer! - That really made our wedding day very special and cute. And really, our coordinator, Katelyn, was wonderful from start to beginning! We are also glad that C & G was there to help us with our wedding day- because both teams were amazing!

Harbour View makes wedding planning easy!
Our experience with Harbour View was fantastic from Day 1 through the close of our wedding reception. Rachael was so organized and helpful with our planning and also coordinated everything with the rest of the HV team and all of our vendors. The venue was beautiful and we didn’t have to add much to make the decor perfect for our occasion. They took care of setting up everything just as we had envisioned and we didn’t have to worry about any of those details the day of the event. We just showed up and enjoyed! All of our guests commented perfect this place was- easy with the ceremony and reception at the same location, beautiful overlooking the water, and just the right balance of classy, formal, and relaxed. We would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding or any other event! Thanks to Rachael and all at Harbour View!

Words can not describe how amazing the ladies at Harbour View are! Rachael was our coordinator, however, every single lady there has been a huge part of the process. Rachael brought my dreams to reality. I wouldn't have changed anything about our special day! The ladies make it a worry free experience and do so with a smile. I had my wedding a little over a month and a half ago, I also had my dinner rehearsal held in the Veranda room (gorgeous). My wedding guest, husband and I really enjoyed this little hidden treasure. The staff was amazing, attentive, and super sweet! I am so happy my big day was a dream come true, at Harbour View!

Harbour View was a beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, perfect venue for my wedding. My family from India couldn't stop praising the place. The staff is wonderful, it's a women owned and operated business, so no wonder they are awesome! From day one, everyone was super nice and professional and extremely helpful. They were so passionate and excited about every detail. My friends and family told me after the wedding that they were extremely accommodating to kids and moms and I'm so grateful for that! Rachel, our day of coordinator is a superwoman and I didn't have to worry for a second, she made sure the timeline was followed and everyone was on time and I couldn't have asked for more! Thank you Harbour View for making my day even more special and for being the nicest women I have ever worked with!

Absolutely love it! Everyone was friendly and helpful to beginning to end! They understood the vision I was looking for. If I had any questions about anything they are response fast. The view of the venue is beautiful with the water in the back for great pictures.

Daniel and Claudia had a marvelous adventure working with the ladies at Harbour View. They were all catered to our needs and calmed us down when we were stressing and recommending some things to us too. Katelyn made our day so smooth and was very personable and got to know us as people. Harbour View is a bit pricy but you get what you pay for. Quality service in every way.

I simply cannot put into words how lucky we were to find Harbour View and have our wedding there. From the first visit with Lisa, we felt supported and cared for. Her entire team was always responsive to emails and was there every step of the way when we had a question. The staff pointed us in the right direction for most of our vendors, and we had great experiences with all of them. They were always calm and really make you feel like family. Rachael was our coordinator and she was AMAZING! She was so prepared for our wedding and kept everything running smoothly. We did not have to worry about anything except enjoying our day! We are going to miss having a reason to visit Harbour View, but that definitely won't keep us from doing so.

We had our wedding there on June 1st and to say that the Harbour View team is incredible is an understatement! We worked directly with Katelyn from our first venue tour, to booking our wedding, all throughout the planning process, and up until our wedding day! The Harbour View family is so welcoming and are such fun, wonderful people! Katelyn was beyond helpful and kept the planning process completely stress-free, she even helped bustle my dress the day of our wedding! The venue is so perfect and their team provides day of coordinators to ensure everything goes well all throughout your wedding! We got so many compliments from our friends, family, and even vendors about how smoothly our wedding went and it is all thanks to the Harbour View team! I was a pretty nervous bride, but everything turned out so perfectly because of Katelyn and the entire Harbour View team and I can not thank them enough for being so amazing!

I would absolutely recommend Harbour View to anybody looking for a wedding reception venue. From the moment my then fiancee and I walked into Harbour View we knew this is where we wanted our wedding reception. The venue is beautiful inside and out with amazing views of the Occoquan River. The price is much better than many other comparable venues in Prince William County.
Rachael and the rest of the staff were phenomenal. I can't think of anybody else who is as passionate about her job as Rachael. She truly cares about her clients and made my wife and I feel like family. They were accommodating as we often brought family in during off hours to see the venue and get ideas for the reception.
As wedding day drew closer Rachel did an excellent job coordinating with all of the vendors so that the day of, we had nothing to stress about. Rachel and the team at Harbour View went above and beyond to make any requests we had a reality which included having a cookie table at the reception that our family still raves about.
If you're looking for a wedding reception venue I would absolutely give Harbour View the highest recommendation. Give them a call and make an appointment to visit. I promise you will not be disappointed!

The ladies of Harbour View put the "special" in my special day. Holly was on top of every detail. She was very prompt with her responses to my e-mails & phone calls. Truly a one of a kind and remarkable team led by Lisa. We just had our wedding there in May and EVERYTHING went great thanks to the Harbour View team! Katelyn was great throughout the process and made everything so much easier for us. Not to mention what a beautiful venue overlooking the river with yachts and boats in the background. Our pictures turned out great, our guest were amazed with the venue. We held our ceremony there, along with cocktail hour right after, and our reception as well. Highly recommend this venue, they will exceed your expectations. They are really that good!

Harbour View hosted our daughter's wedding and reception this past weekend and it was amazing. The staff is so professional and easy to work with. They are great at what they do, down the tiny details that are needed to pull off such a wonderful and special day. The place is beautiful. It was truly perfect thanks to Katelyn and everything she did to make it so!!

The Harbour View family is absolutely amazing! The venue itself is great if you're looking for a place to hold the ceremony & reception without having your guests travel. It's super convenient so your guests can start happy hour while you take photos on the marina. Plus, the ceremony area is an open room facing the marina, making it look like an outdoor wedding without the worry of bad weather or renting tent equipment. Holly was my day of coordinator and she is hands down the best!!! She made everything run smoothly and checked in constantly to keep me updated on the timeline and made sure I didn't need anything. I was shooting for a cheaper wedding and decided against having a bustle added to my dress and during photos a guest stepped on my dress and ripped off the little loop to wrap around my wrist. Holly found some pins and MacGyvered a bustle that looked professionally done. When I was deciding on centerpieces they let me borrow candle vases (3 per table for 15 tables) which are anywhere from $1-$10 each. I didn't have anything major in mind for the sweetheart table, so Holly said "Don't worry about it, I'll make it look beautiful" and of course she did! Harbour View has a profession and fun loving staff (they also have great senses of humor)! They know what they're doing which is great for someone who doesn't want to shell-out extra cash for a wedding planner. You can call them anytime with the smallest question/problem and they will help you figure it out on the spot. I cannot recommend them enough, they made my wedding day 100% perfect and went above and beyond anything I could have asked them to do!

From the moment me and my now husband walked into Harbour View for our venue visit, we knew it's where we wanted to get married. From the ceremony room overlooking the water, to the spacious and well laid-out ballroom, it was exactly what we were looking for. Not to mention the ladies at Habour View are amazing! They have a great planning guide with deadlines, ideas, and tips that I found extremely useful; and are very helpful regarding any questions we had. When it came to our big day, it was perfect! Everything ran smoothly and looked beautiful. They took care of all the little details so we didn't have to worry about anything except getting married and having fun. From day one, the girls at Harbour View were absolutely amazing!! They are all so sweet and so unbelievably helpful! They showed us around in great detail and helped us with any questions about vendors we had. The day I chose Harbour View to be my venue I started to cry and Katelyn, our coordinator shed a tear with me which I thought was just so sweet! We went to the Bridal Expo and went by their booth and all of the girls there recognized us, which I thought was so special! Katelyn and Holly were always just a phone call or an email away if we had any questions about ANYTHING! They were quick with their responses and just always there when needed. Katelyn was assigned to be my day of coordinator and I was so excited. A few weeks before, we went and did a walk through of how everything would be set up and went over timelines. I'm so glad I had their help because I had NO IDEA what I was doing or how everything should go. A few days before, we dropped everything off and she sat with us as we explained every little thing we brought and where it needed to go. On the big day, Katelyn and Rachel helped me to make sure everything ran smoothly and perfectly! If anything went wrong we just ran right to them and they took care of it ASAP! I couldn't have asked for a better set of girls to help make my big day perfect, I could have not done it without their help.

Words could never express how amazing Harbour View and their staff are! From day 1 Harbour View made us feel so welcome and they all were so sweet and accommodating. After visiting them, there really was no other competition, as they were the perfect fit for us :-) Throughout planning, they would constantly send check in emails to see if we needed any help with anything at all which was so sweet of them to do! We dropped off all of our stuff and I was so impressed at how organized Harbour View was and how well they listened to exactly how we wanted things to look. I have to give a huge shout out to the staff for the day off our wedding but most importantly I have to give a HUGE thank you and shout out to Katelyn. She was so organized and made sure that our day ran so smoothly with no issues and she helped us all stay on schedule. She is truly a gem and she is the absolute sweetest! I cannot say enough good things about Katelyn and the Harbour View Team. Katelyn worked with us from the beginning and we felt so happy and lucky to have her on our special day, however everyone we met at the venue was so friendly and accommodating. Whenever we were visiting, everyone we saw asked us how we were doing, asked about the planning, and helped to give ideas if we wanted them. Katelyn was really responsive and supportive by email, she would offer new ideas, talk about logistics, and comment on our ideas. They help do a ton of coordination so you do not have to and I cannot say how valuable that was. There were two coordinators from HV on site the day of the wedding, they confirmed and coordinated with all our vendors, they offered advice based on experience, invited us in for free meetings, had a 30 day coordination meeting, and were fine with working with both me and my mom. The venue is beautiful and so many guests commented on how it was perfect. The set up is fantastic and classy, they have out door and indoor areas during cocktail hour, the ballroom is huge, it overlooks a beautiful harbor. They think of everything you need on your wedding day, they are on top of things but not intrusive when they need something, Katelyn even tried to make sure we had a few minutes to relax and eat during dinner when everyone wanted to stop and talk. I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the people there, do not hesitate to book them now!!!!

Choosing Harbour view as my wedding venue was the single best decision I made throughout my entire wedding planning process. Not only is the venue naturally beautiful, but the staff is AMAZING and there are not enough words to express how grateful I am for them. Every one on staff always goes the extra mile to make sure everything goes as planned. My wedding day was perfect because of Harbour View and their team. My official coordinator was Holly who my husband and I nicknamed "Harbour View Holly" and from our first visit to the venue, to our wedding day she was always accessible, helpful, and just knowledgeable about weddings. There was so much I did not know about wedding planning and she was there for us every step of the way. She made sure that we were able to be stress free on our wedding day. My daughter's wedding on 9/1/17 was a success because of the staff at Harbourview. Lets start by saying the venue alone is so beautiful, once you see it, you won't want to go any further. It's beautiful! From the first day my daughter and her new husband stepped foot in this place, they didn't want to look any further. From beginning to end, we were so pleased with everything. The professionalism and customer service we received was phenomenal. Katlyn, our personal coordinator was the best. She was patience, kind and very professional and assured me as "Mother of the Bride" that my daughter's wedding would be perfect and it was. Thanks so much Katlyn for all that you did for us. We couldn't have ask for a better Wedding Coordinator. I highly recommend this venue.

Harbour View is simply the best. The venue is not as expensive as other places and you could not beat the value. Everyone at Harbour View made sure my rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception went smoothly and I did not have to worry about a thing. They helped make the day go stress-free and I could never thank them enough. The views were beautiful and the venue is great no matter what type of weather you get (because you are covered the whole time). I cannot think of one negative thing about this venue!

My daughter's wedding ceremony and reception were held at Harbour View a few weeks ago. The bride and groom were thrilled with everything. The venue is lovely! The setting was absolutely beautiful located on a river with blooming crepe myrtle trees adding a beautiful touch to the veranda where the ceremony was held. The ballroom was spacious and decorated just as the bride wanted. It was a dream come true. Katelyn, our Harbour View (HV) Coordinator and the entire HV staff were so helpful (answering questions, providing lists of caterers, florists, and many other vendors) throughout the entire planning process. We were impressed with their enthusiasm, knowledge, professionalism, and support. They helped to make what may have been a stressful situation enjoyable and fun. Lisa, the owner, is delightful. She also worked with us to help assure the wedding was a success. Indeed it was!!!! The guests are still talking about the gorgeous venue. We are so pleased to have selected Harbour View as the wedding venue. We highly recommend Harbour View and the HV Team.

Harbour View was my dream venue. The functionality was exactly what I imagined. The staff however is what takes this place beyond the moon amazing. They work as a team but I worked with Holly and she became part of the family from the initial meeting. She always went above and beyond. She was always extremely helpful. My wedding day was the best day of my life! I am happy I chose Harbour View and their wonderful staff.

I could not recommend this venue enough!!! The ladies that work there are genuine and absolutely love what they do and it really shows with how much time and effort they take into making your day feeling one of a kind and special. No matter who you end up working with as your point of contact you will get top of the line. Holly and Lisa were nothing less than excellent through our entire time of planning. Even when we had problems with other wedding vendors (ex. catering) they stepped in to make sure we were being taken care of and the company would be there and follow through. On the day of the wedding, they had 3 staff members present to make sure everything was in place and flowing smoothly throughout the entire day. I never had to worry about if the room would be set up or when the food was going to be served or any "extra" things. Holly and her co-workers made the day flow seamlessly and took all that stress away from my husband and I to really allow us to enjoy our wedding.
If you're looking for a venue with gorgeous scenery, with beautiful places for pictures and people who are loving and incredibly easy to work with, look no further. Just sign the contract now.

Harbour View was a wonderful place to have a wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of service and attentiveness the staff showed us at every step of the process. We planned this wedding from out-of-state, and they were still able to offer us unparalleled service when we weren't able to meet them face-to-face. Katelyn was our coordinator and she is fabulous. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner, and even gifted us a beautiful decorative piece for our ceremony. Everyone loved the venue, and the ceremony and reception went without a hitch. We would definitely recommend this venue to other couples, especially those who (like us) were unfamiliar with the ins and outs of wedding planning.

I could not have imagined a better venue. One big reason we chose Harbour View was the staff and we were not disappointed. They are extremely helpful and really take the stress out of preparation, especially the day of. They are so creative with details I did not even think to address with how the reception and ceremony were set up and decorated. No request was too large, and they just want you to have the best day ever. They really do mean it when they say they love weddings and their couples.

Harbour View provided the perfect setting and service for our wedding ceremony and luncheon reception. Holly met with us months in advance to walk through the space and learn what we were looking for. Throughout the process, Holly was responsive and helpful, and ultimately translated all of our requests into a smooth and spectacular event.
The Harbour View's ceremony setting is ideal due to it's large opening to the harbor, which gives the feeling of being outdoors but also covers you, providing automatic insurance in case of rain (the shade doesn't hurt if your wedding is scheduled during the summer).
We would not hesitate to recommend Harbour View to any couple seeking a venue for their wedding in Northern Virginia. The location is also right off of I-95, providing convenient access to wedding guests. The venue and scenery also provide the ideal setting for photos.

This place has the most amazing team I have ever met/worked with. Without them I think I would of gone crazy. The venue it's self is amazing, spacious and very scenic for great photography shots. It was such a blessing to work with Holly and the whole Harbourview team. I had a tight budget but with their help, I found a great option that worked for me. I got married in January on a Friday and everything turned out perfectly. Holly responds to all questions immediately and put me at ease every step of the way. Plus, the venue is gorgeous!

I would HIGHLY recommend Harbour View as your wedding venue. The ladies went above and beyond to make our Wedding day nothing short of perfect. I worked directly with Katelyn. She was always quick to answer any questions or concerns I had leading up to the day of. She really made me feel at ease. I cannot even begin to thank Katelyn and the Harbour View team on making my wedding amazing back in November 2016. From start to finish, we have had great service during the planning and the day the wedding. We definitely had some hesitations going forward with our caterer, but they assured us that our day would be perfect and they were there to help with anything we needed with payments and coordinate meetings. Katelyn was our coordinator and she was beyond wonderful - she helped me with ideas for the layout of my vision, other ideas to add to my centerpiece, and always answered all my questions no matter how many I asked! Harbour View was my number one choice for my wedding venue and the end result was more than I imagined. Even the day of the wedding, Katelyn and the HV staff made sure me and my wedding party had drinks/snacks and made sure we kept to our timeline. As a planner myself, I was so thankful for attention to detail to all my decorations and whatnot that they set up for me. My mom and I were shocked when we found we didn't have to set up anything so it was awesome to enjoy my morning with my family and not have to worry about setting up our room. They took my vision and as cliche as it sounds made it a reality. Thank you SO SO SO much Katelyn and the HV staff - we got so many compliments of the wedding and I can't thank you enough for all your hard work!

My now husband and I had our wedding reception at Harbour View this past September and it was the most magical day ever! We could not thank the ladies at Harbour View enough for everything that they did for us. When we booked about 14 months before we knew we made the write decision. Our coordinator was Katelyn and she was AMAZING! (we really love her! haha) She always checked up on us to see how we were doing and was always in constant contact! We ran into a few problems with our caterers and Harbour View was there to save the day. Lisa, the owner, and Katelyn went above and beyond to make sure the problem was fixed (even though they didn't have to!) to make sure we were stress free- it meant the world to us. Day of, everything went smoothly, the ladies were so professional and we had an amazing time. Our guests were so blown away by the venue as well as how beautiful it looked! Another bonus is that they provide the tables and chairs- AND you’re able to rent other great things from them for your wedding! They recently got the beautiful chiavari chairs as well and I was able to use the darker brown ones for the first time at my wedding- it was such a plus!! I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding at Harbour View- you really won't be let down!

Harbour View will always have a special place in my heart. I can't say enough good things about the team there. I worked with Holly and she was AMAZING!! Holly and the ladies at Harbour View were SOOO accommodating. I forgot to purchase our sparklers for the send off but Holly made sure we had the sparklers so that we could have our picture perfect moment. She was always available and would give me vendor suggestions if I needed help finding one.
The venue itself is gorgeous. It can accodate weddings that are small to large (320 I believe) The location of it being on the water makes for a great background. The cocktail hour hour upstairs had such an elegant feel with rich wood floors. If you are considering this place look no further, stop contemplating and BOOK IT!

If you are looking for a beautiful venue with an even more AMAZING staff, look no further than Harbour View! Thank God for the internet and Google because if it weren't for these two things, my husband I would have never found this perfect hidden gem. From the time that I entered the doors of this picturesque venue, I knew that this would be the place where I'd say "I Do!" Our ceremony was held in the Veranda on a beautiful September Sunday afternoon. The weather was perfect for our nuptials and the scenery on the Occoquan River definitely made everything even more breath taking. Our cocktail hour and reception were held in the upper level of the venue.
The staff is absolutely AWESOME! Katelyn was our onsite coordinator with Harbour View throughout our planning process and she was also our coordinator for the day. She was so attentive to detail from the very beginning. She worked alongside our Wedding Planner to be sure that everything went off without a hitch and it most definitely did. Lisa (the owner), was amazing as well. One of our nephews had a meltdown as he was supposed to be walking down the aisle as a ring bearer and she helped get him relaxed and calmed down. Other staff members including Holly and Alicia, were also a big asset and so super friendly.
