Happy Thoughts exceeded our wedding video dreams!! They did such an amazing job capturing all of the sweetest moments. Not only did they do an incredible job, but we had so much fun working with them!! From the initial booking, I felt like I made a new friend who was just as excited about the big day as me. The communication up to and during the day was incredible. They made sure to listen to all that I wanted captured, and then went beyond it. I was shocked the first time I watched our video, and still get all the feels every time I rewatch it. I continue to recommend them to everyone I know, because they were easily one of our favorite and most memorable vendors that day! -

My photographer recommended adding Patrick to our wedding and at first I wasnʻt sure if I wanted to have videography as it wasnʻt in the budget and I had already made peace with the fact that I wouldn't have one. Well after talking to my fiancé (now husband) he told me we should just do it lol so we played around with the budget and were able to squeeze and make it work! With that being said, it was the BEST DECISION we could have made!!!!!!! Patrick, along with our Photographer Jay, flew to Hawaiʻi to capture our big day! They met with us at the hotel room and got some amazing getting ready shots, then went to our venue to capture the rest of the wedding. I will say that I love photographs but having them and the amazing video by Patrick really allows us to go back and essentially re-live the moments!
COMMUNICATION - 10/10:
I am a very laid back bride so I didn't actually contact Patrick much at all after I paid my initial deposit. He reached out to me a few weeks before the wedding and asked to do a zoom call with us to confirm information and also discuss what we wanted overall in our video. He was very well spoken and kind to us throughout. No complaints.
WEDDING DAY - 10/10:
I met Patrick the day of my wedding in person for the first time. He was energetic and eager to start filming immediately which I appreciated! He kept the vibe up and made all of us laugh with his ideas (i.e. Okay bride now walk to that window like you own it, sway those hips like you mean it, etc). When he would ask me to do something specific, I really liked that if I was doing it awkwardly or incorrectly he was quick to jump in and show me exactly what the vision was. This is the perfect videographer for brides who are not models lol not everybody knows how to move their body or pose the right way to get the best results so it's SOOOOO important for videographers to help us, and especially in a kind way like Patrick does.
PRICE - 10/10:
Full disclosure that we did get a discounted rate as he was building his portfolio in Hawaiʻi weddings at the time so we were able to afford it but 100% he would have been worth every penny if we paid his normal rate.
VIDEO RECEIVED - 1000/10:
After the wedding I figured I wouldn't have heard about our video for at least 6 weeks because thatʻs pretty standard for turnaround time so I was SHOCKED to have received a teaser video the next day at 8:00am!! The teaser was so gorgeous that when I showed friends and family they thought it was the whole video and said it was beautiful 😂 but I loved that I could share it on Instagram right then and all of my friends and family who weren't at the wedding could see it! We did receive the entire video just over 5 weeks later though and it was perfection!! Furthermore, I mentioned to him that I was so sad I didn't have a video of just our dance because nobody videoed the whole thing or got a decent angle. I asked if he happened to have a longer clip he could send us and he kindly put together a video of just our dance in its entirety. Again, another stunning video that iʻll love forever!!

Patrick was an absolute blast to work with. I thought the pictures would be my favorite from our wedding, but it ended up being the video! It was truly beautiful. He made the process so much fun for us during the wedding and kept us laughing and relaxed. He is incredibly talented!! I cannot speak highly enough of him. From our first look moments to even our ring shots, I’ve never seen work like his! Without a doubt, the best in Texas! -

Patrick was such an amazing videographer. He made it very easy to work with him and guided us every step of the way. I’m no expert but the way he used lighting, angles, and poses to his advantage was very impressive. My husband and I were very lucky to find you and we’re sure the videos will look incredible. -

Patrick was our videographer for our wedding and did an absolutely amazing job. He was extremely professional, he also took his time taking our shots and thanks to him our highlight video turned out stunning! Would highly recommend working with Patrick for any event! -

Amazing work
I recently worked with Patrick for my wedding video back in June & I couldn’t be happier. Patrick was so professional and able to go beyond my expectations for a wedding video. I went of off my photographers recommendation and after watching a number of highlight videos I knew that I need Happy Thoughts to do mine! We had limited time throughout the wedding day to get particular shot yet Patrick still made it work! He was amazing at posing us and making us feel very comfortable infront of the camera. And not to mention my video was back in no time!!! Always a plus! I’ve recommended Happy Thoughts to anyone who will look my way and I’ll continue to do so!! -

Best Wedding Filmmaker!!!
We are thoroughly pleased with Patrick Molleda’s work through Happy Thoughts. Our wedding could not have been captured better! Patrick worked hard the whole day to get the best shots he could of all of the proceedings—we really appreciated his work ethic. The video turned out with just the right amount of fun, liveliness, and sentimentality—and it was beautiful, he has a great eye.
Finally, it’s worth adding that Patrick was so incredibly easy to work with. He was such a calm, reassuring, and upbeat presence the whole day. We could not have hoped for a better experience, or a better result! We owe the sweet and incredible remembrance of our wedding to Happy Thoughts—thank you, Patrick! -

I love my wedding film!
Patrick is a great videographer! I really enjoyed working with him and loved his work. Patrick was very communicative and responsive during the whole process. He made us feel comfortable during filming and was able to capture every beautiful moment of our wedding. Patrick was also able to get us the video in a very timely manner which I really appreciated. I would recommend happy thoughts to anyone getting married in the Dallas area. Thank you so much 🙂. -
