A 10/10 National Park Wedding
My husband and I hosted our wedding at Happy Days Lodge on May 10, 2025. There are a lot of fantastic wedding venues sprinkled across northeast ohio, but now that it’s all said and done, I couldn’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else. From the very beginning the staff was incredibly helpful, competent, professional, and genuinely excited to be working with us. I know event centers/venues host multiple wedding a weekend, but the team at Happy Days really made us feel like we were throwing a once in a lifetime event. They put some much care and attention into helping us get organized and bring our vision for the day to life. I was especially impressed by their service since we were planning our wedding from out of state and had to do almost all of our coordination virtually. I would recommend anyone looking for a natural setting to host their event with the conservancy for CVNP. Our guests loved staying in close proximity to the park and getting to explore the trails and waterfalls nearby before and after the wedding.
Happy Days is partnered with a number of vendors that tailor their services to a variety of budgets. We were able to find an excellent caterer that fit with our budget from their list of approved caterers. We also used a few of their recommended (but not required) vendors for other services. Lastly, we utilized their Bar service and found it took a lot of the guesswork and DIY labor out of providing alcohol for our reception at a fairly reasonable price.
As far as decor goes, the natural setting of the venue, the old wood interior, and the gorgeous string lights, stage lights, and chandeliers left very little work for us to do other than to put finishing touches on the venue on the day of the ceremony and reception. We added some florals and battery tea light candles to the reception tables, decorated the foyer tables, and added florals, lights, and fabrics to the ceremony space and that was it. We arrived to the venue around 1 pm and were able to set up and take all of our formal photos before our ceremony started at 5pm. Our reception ended at 11pm and my family and bridal party had finished removing our decor and left to go home by 11:30pm.

Beautiful venue, fabulous team
We fell in love with Happy Days as soon as we visited, and were not disappointed! Staff was very responsive, and allowed us to move our wedding date (twice!) due to COVID with no extra fees. The hall is so beautiful on its own that we did very little decorating, and the surrounding woods are a gorgeous place to take photos. On the day of the wedding, staff were on hand but unobtrusive, helping us make sure everything was in order and taking care of messes (like a giant glass of water we managed to spill on the sweetheart table...) Professional staff, beautiful venue, plus you can feel good that your money is helping keep up a national park!-

Perfect choice
We originally chose Happy Days because it had options to cover any weather (AC, fireplace, screened in porch, large ourdoor area). But There were so many more benefits than that - Kayla and her staff were so accommodating and flexible with COVID changes including postponing our event a year. The lodge is beautiful on it's own, and we got a ton of complements from our guests. Amy also helped us put together a great bar package with our favorite local beers. Overall, we have absolutely no complaints and were so happy with our choice. -

Perfect intimate wedding
My wife and I fell in love with Happy Days Lodge as soon as we saw the photos online. The following emails, phone calls, meetings, and walkthroughs with the staff only reaffirmed to us that we had made the right choice. They made everything so simple and our special day went so smoothly because of their excellent communication with us and our coordinator and the hard work they put in. On top of all of that, the location is perfect for photos! We recommend Happy Days to any of our family and friends in the area as affordable, beautiful, accommodating, and professional. -

Great setting for our winter wedding
Happy Days Lodge is a great venue; it's a mix of rustic and elegant. So much is already provided (beautiful lighting, tables and chairs, spaces for both ceremony and reception) and it fit our guest list of 80. The staff is kind and responsive. It was perfect for our winter wonderland wedding! -

From start to finish the experience of our wedding with Happy Day's Lodge was wonderful! The staff kept in great contact with us throughout the planning period and were amazing the day of. Happy Day's itself is beautiful and provided a wonderful outdoor area for our wedding and a back up in case it rained (which it did a little). The staff stayed on top of the weather forecast and worked so hard to make our day perfect! I was able to have a stress free wedding by picking Happy Day's for our big day! I highly recommend Happy Day's Lodge for your wedding, you wont be disappointed! -

We fell in love with this venue when we first saw it. We must have spoken with the management and point person dozens of times prior to the wedding with requests, questions, updates, etc. and all of our interactions were wonderful. They made available all of the accommodations we desired and more. They had an indoor and outdoor option ready, as the weather was up in the air. We were allowed to decorate early. They also worked well with the other vendors we used to make the process very smooth. Nothing went wrong on wedding day, and I attribute most of that to the Happy Days Lodge. -

Katie, Happy Days' event coordinator, was so helpful and responsive at every step of the process from answering questions that came up quickly to even helping us set up on the day of the wedding. The venue is absolutely beautiful space for both ceremony and reception (with the lights preset in the great room by the Happy Days staff) and it was so special for us that all of the venue fees go to support the national park. I can't say enough good things about Happy Days Lodge and Katie!Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park's reply:

Cannot say enough good things about Happy Days Lodge. It is the perfect rustic and homey venue for a mid-sized wedding and offers so much space for dinner and dancing! The lighting was beautiful, the fire was welcoming, and Brittany and the other workers were so helpful and accommodating! Being able to come in multiple times prior to the big day to get a picture of how everything will look was a huge blessing. We wish we could have parties at Happy Days every year, ha! Seriously, if you don't at least check it out for your wedding, you are missing out!Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park's reply:

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Happy Days Lodge in August 2014 and we could not have asked for a better expierence! When we first saw it online, we called Brittany and she went out of her way to make time to show us the venue that day and answer all of our questions. She made booking it so easy and responded to any questions we had through the year right away. The space was beautiful and more than spacious enough for our 150 guests! Our guests really enjoyed the outdoor space as well. Brittany and other staff spent the whole night making sure everything went perfect for us! Would absolutely recommend this venue to everyone!!! -

My wedding at the Happy Days Lodge was fairy book perfect. I wanted a place that wasn't a hall with open green spaces and this place was exactly what I was dreaming of. There is some extra work for the bride and groom involved with this place. Must provide your own bartender and booze. Decorations were set up and torn down within the restricted hours that you bought (that place is very busy with other events). Parking is a hassle for guests. But with that said the staff was amazing to work with and every little con about the place is so worth it in the end. My photographer said its her favorite wedding venue thus far to shoot at. -

Perfect for weddings!
We had our wedding here and it was such a beautiful and perfect setting. Happy Days comes with an onsite coordinator (we worked with Cierra) who helps you plan your event, including details like the venue tour, walk through, floor plan, and bar. She was very responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. The string lights and hanging chandeliers are so elegant and really make the vibe excellent on wedding night. The layout of the venue is also super ideal for a wedding. You can have a cocktail hour and/or ceremony in the screened in patio, then move your guests into the large main room. The stage is perfect for a live band, DJ, or sweetheart/head table. We had our head table on the stage which felt very special and gave us a great view of our guests and vice versa. We rented chiavari chairs from our caterer to add extra elegance to the venue. If you're looking for a rustic yet elegant, classy, National-Parks-Themed vibe for your wedding day, we highly recommend Happy Days Lodge! -

A beautiful venue with helpful staff!
We got married and had our reception at Happy Days Lodge on March 5, 2022, and we had a fantastic experience. From the time when we first inquired about the venue right up to the wedding day, they were very easy to work with and answered every question we could have had. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and I especially loved that they had a ceremony site and a reception site all in one venue. Overall, I think we got a great value for what we paid, and I would absolutely recommend Happy Days to any engaged couples looking for a rustic-yet-sophisticated venue with tons of natural beauty.-

If you are looking for a different kind of venue that is historic, part of a national park with beautiful surroundings, this is for you. The location, about a mile off Rt 8, offers reasonable, quality lodging nearby. Also, Hudson and Peninsula and the national park offer plenty for visitors to do. The event planner was very helpful and was flexible in meeting our needs. There is no refrigeration so any caterer you hire would need to be prepared for that. If the caterer has never been to the venue they should have a walk through. The Conservancy (vendor) has a designated list of caterers or for an additional fee you can hire your own. We chose one of the designated caterers and were very pleased. You must pay a fee for alcohol to be served and sign a waiver of responsibility. The lodge is able to be dressed up or dressed down with decorating depending on your needs. You even have options of using the grounds around it. Plenty of open space inside. There is a walk from the main parking lot that involves stairs and a pedestrian tunnel but it's fun to decorate with 'candles' and signs. Limited mobility parking is available next to the building. From the parking lot throughout the building there are no elevation changes so limited mobility is accommodated. Large speakers and sound system hook-ups and huge movie screen are available. You must provide the projector. There is no sound system on the large screened in porch (very nice area), we opted to bring a portable unit. Traffic in the distance varies with sound so we didn't want to take a chance. There are no coat racks so if guests come with them you'll have to figure it out. There is a fireplace located on one side of the main hall that can be lit. Standard tables and chairs are available other can be rented. Restrooms very adequate. Staff are available throughout the event to help with logistics. -

Happy Days Lodge was perfect for our reception! We got married in a small destination wedding on an island off the coast of Belize and needed a local (Cleveland area) "reception" site for our 160-person reception for family and friends that weren't in Belize.
My contact was Ellen and she was very helpful. We could bring in our own caterer and alcohol (a huge cost savings!) and the venue was really nice. The lodge is all exposed wood beams and stone flooring. It had a nice rustic/classy feel. The lighting is adjustable and really nice (i.e. not standard fluorescent), there was air conditioning but also big doors that open to the lawn/forest if the weather is nice. They also have a fireplace they will turn on if you want.
If you want to see it, check the CVNPA (nat'l park) website for details. They have open houses throughout the year too. I loved the site and that the people were really nice and accomodating! I got a lot of positive comments from guests who had never been out there, it is an unusual site (not your standard hotel guestroom or party center). -

A unique venue in a beautiful setting. I love Happy Days Lodge and am so happy we chose it for our wedding. We lucked out with the most absolutely gorgeous day but we picked this location b/c we had options for an indoor or outdoor ceremony so we would be set no matter the weather. We had our wedding at the Happy Days lodge and absolutely loved it! Everyone commented on the uniqueness of the venue and had a great time. My only complaint is that you can't get into the venue to decorate ahead of your contract hours (unless you pay for rehearsal the night before and there isn't a wedding planned), which required us to hire a wedding coordinator. Other than that small glitch, it's the perfect venue!! -

Overall we LOVED the Conservancy. I gave 4 for responsiveness bc we did have some trouble getting in touch with people, but only because they had some staff turn-over. While they had someone permanent as the wedding coordinator we got quick responses. The new contact person is Lindsay and she is GREAT! She was soooo much help, even while we were setting up and cleaning up afterwards. I love how you have flexibility to decorate however you want, but there are some limitations- no tape, no staple guns, glue, etc., and you can't have your party go past 11 bc you have to be cleaned up and out of there by midnight. it was a little bit pricey we thought, but for us definitely worth it. Really it was 5 stars for us!!!!! -

Overall great
Happy Days Lodge looks fantastic with very little effort. It felt like a very special party, and we had a lot of fun. The porch was really cold, even with the space heater, so I would recommend advising guests to dress warmly in cold months. Overall we were delighted with the venue. -

My husband and I held both our ceremony and reception at Happy Days Lodge. Overall, we loved the venue and the special memories we made there! The lodge provides more of a "rustic" look - it is in a national park after all! We held our ceremony in the screened porch (outside is an option as well), which fit about 175 people. We held our reception in the Great Hall. The price of rental has been increasing over the years, but we still found that it was less expensive than other venues in Cleveland.
We loved the warm wooden rafters and the beautiful stone floors. It is rustic, but classy and well-maintained. We went for a "British countryside" look. We really enjoyed the flexibility of the venue - they provided chairs and tables that could be arranged in any way we chose. We also could bring in our own alcohol, which saved us thousands of $. Finally, we were able to bring in a new caterer, a potential new preferred vendor for the site, which we were very happy with.
They arranged all the tables and chairs for us ahead of time. They also provided a lighting service where they hung up market/bistro lights for $200 in the Great Hall.
As for responsiveness, Lindsay is fairly responsive by email, and she took initiative to ask us about seating arrangements, etc. We also visited the venue several times outside of our initial + final walk-throughs, which we greatly appreciated! One of our scheduled appointments didn't make it into the schedule book, so my friend (doing decor) and I waited outside for about 30 min before anyone was able to arrive on site.
If you want to book, book fast! We booked 8 months ahead of time and every Saturday was already filled. We did a Sunday morning ceremony instead. They do about 75 weddings a year. For rehearsal dinner, we did ours on Friday, and it costs about $200 to rent for an hour or $600 for 4 hours. We did our rehearsal and catered our rehearsal dinner there too.
Overall, we loved the venue - it was perfect for what we wanted!

I just had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Happy Days Lodge and it was an unforgettable evening. I wanted a "rustic chic" wedding that was different from the typical ballroom/hotel setting, and HDL did not disappoint. The fact that there were several options for catering and that we could bring in our own liquor helped us create the curated atmosphere we wanted.
This venue is not the easiest to work with, so a few things to note if you are considering HDL:
-Catering has to be brought in, so it creates more logistics and perhaps additional rental costs since there is nothing onsite
-The timeframe for reception was a little short; we paid for an extra hour
-It is in a remote area and the tunnel is...different. Make sure you explain to your guests!
-There is one event coordinator but no real event staff. It is not as hands on from that respect, and you will have to coordinate with each individual vendor separately and you will have to set the schedule for the evening. They won't direct the ceremony and reception on your behalf.
Overall, very pleased! The venue was a spectacular, unique setting and it came together beautifully. You will just have to work harder to plan a wedding here. -

The Happy Days Lodge venue is a beautiful lodge set back in the woods of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It is historic and rustic with many options for interesting outdoor photos.
The contact woman is very easy/ pleasant to work with. There are open house dates which are helpful in the planning. They also allow you to visit individually as the day approaches.
It is a nice space for both a ceremony AND reception or just a reception.
It is on the more expensive side for this area. They are not flexible with time/ charge extra for more hours than agreed upon. Rehearsal time is available for an extra large fee. We opted out on that one.
You must use a caterer from their established list or pay extra for one of your choosing. Less of an option, but you get the comfort of knowing that the caterer has worked in this space before.
Over all, a very good experience. We were happy with it. -

We had our wedding reception at Happy Days Lodge this November. I LOVE This venue. I can not imaging having my wedding reception anywhere else. It is so unique and beautiful. The price can be a little steep - but once you see this place you can see why. I absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an event in a unique/outdoorsy environment.Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park's reply:

Happy Days is a beautiful venue for a couple looking for a rustic wedding in the National Park. Happy Days is a popular spot so you have to book one year in advance the month of your wedding. Pricing is high and you have to book a separate day if you want to decorate or rehearse the night before. The staff is professional and helpful. They hold frequent Open House events to visit the venue and plan your day. Overall, Happy Days was the perfect location for our rustic wedding -

Happy Days Lodge is a unique rustic site for your wedding and we were lucky to get a spot so soon, they book up fast so be sure to book as soon as you can. I was very disappointed in the fact that they "forgot" to book my rehearsal the night before my wedding and the decorating time. I had to do EVERYTHING the day of my wedding which was a huge disappointment to me and everyone in the wedding party, it made my wedding day so hectic and added a lot of unnecessary stress. They did let us come earlier to decorate, but it didn't matter because I wasn't able to relax before my wedding at all, they caused the whole day to be rushed.Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park's reply:
Hello Erin,
First of all, congratulations on your marriage! Thank you very much for your feedback; we are always looking for ways to improve the services we offer to our clients. We agree, finding out that another wedding was already booked on the day before your own event must have been stressful, especially if you were hoping to be able to book that time for yourself. It is wonderful to hear, however, that with the help of a strong support system of family, friends, and staff, you were able to take advantage of the additional time offered to you on the day of your event to ensure that your wedding day was a success. We strive to ensure that all of our clients have an exceptional experience on their wedding day, so please contact our Guest Services department if you would like to discuss the details of your event further. Above all else, we wish you happiness in love and all that life brings!

Absolutely beautiful venue. However, it is a bit pricier than I would have wished, even with an off-season discount.
The old venue coordinator was great, but unfortunately a new one took over partway through my wedding planning process. I suppose Brittany seems nice enough, but I don't think she really knows what she is doing yet. A few details have already slipped through the cracks. Hopefully she will improve with time, or they get a new coordinator, because this venue is too beautiful to go to waste.
EDITED: Do to unforeseen events, the power went out towards the end of our reception and everyone had to go home early. While unfortunate that Happy Days did not have a backup generator, I commemorate the team on their professionalism. They offered the Stanford House as complimentary lodging for any guests who did not wish to drive home in the storm and also offered a refund. The team, together with my caterers, packed up all our decorations in the dark and allowed us to pick them up the next morning. Thank you for smoothing over what could have been a crisis!Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park's reply:
Hello, and thank you for your feedback, but most importantly, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! We are so honored that you chose Happy Days Lodge as the venue for your special day. We at the Conservancy believe in the ability of our staff, and offer hands-on training whenever possible, especially in the area of event management. Turnover is a reality in every business, and I thank you in advance for your compassion and understanding as a new staff member becomes familiar with the details of your event. In the meanwhile, and at any time, please do not hesitate to contact me directly with any concerns you may have, or if you find that you are receiving anything less than exceptional service. We look forward to hosting you and your guests on April 2, and thank you very much for your support of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Getting married at Happy Days Lodge was so beautiful! We loved the venue and it made for an awesome wedding. However, there have been a lot of staff changes there and who we originally started working with when we booked the venue, but many people changed and left throughout the process. On the day of the wedding, a few things went wrong and the team at Happy Days refused to take any responsibility for the errors. Additionally, the staff who was there the night of the wedding were not helpful and seemed very uninformed on how to control things. We are disappointed because we were very excited about the venue and getting married there, but unfortunately we did not enjoy the experience with the staff. I would not recommend this venue to people with the current staff there.Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park's reply:
Hello, and congratulations on your marriage! We at the Conservancy are honored that you chose Happy Days Lodge as the venue for your wedding. Your support of Cuyahoga Valley National Park is invaluable, and will be greatly appreciated for generations to come.

Beautiful wedding
We had our wedding here at the end of September and we loved it! The venue itself was gorgeous and we received many compliments! It’s rustic without being a barn, and is in the CVNP which we loved. Our wedding was a Sunday, which saved us $2,000 off the Saturday price which was great. Now for the downsides. It was challenging to contact anyone at Happy Days. It often took me following up on my first email after a week to even get a response. they were very nice once they did respond, but often took about 10 days before I heard back. Biggest downside was the alcohol. It was VERY expensive. They quoted the price at $16 per person for the standard package. Then at the end when we went to pay the bill, they had added $1,500 of services fees and labor to the bill, nearly doubling it! It ended up being over $3,000 for the alcohol 100 people. I just wish they would be more up front about the pricing at the start. Other than that it was a lovely day and I was very happy. -

Happy Days Lodge
We would not have had our wedding anywhere else besides the CVNP! On the day of the event Amy was very helpful and made the set up and event go smoothly with our other vendors.
However, my only complaint would be the slow response time leading up to the event. We were discussing event details with Kayla and were planning the event from a different state. It was difficult at times to communicate a date to meet to tour the facility, etc. and sometimes there were several weeks between responses. However once we got closer to the date and the day of the event, staff was very helpful with our floor plan layout and making the day go very smoothly. If we had to choose again I would still choose Happy Days. -

Over all I loved having my wedding here but there were some things that I wasn't so happy with.
Email response was terrible. This was in part of a role change right after we finalized our date but still none the less it was a tad irritating. We set up a meeting and we were there but no one from the venue showed up or returned our calls for at least a week after we stood outside for almost an hour.
When it came to booking our rehearsal we had to pay an ADDITIONAL $100 to rehearse for ONE hour on WEDNESDAY!!! and we were promptly asked to leave as soon as an hour was up!!!!
When members of the family wanted to look at the reception hall so they could figure out where they would have to decorate in a RUSH!!! we got the evil look and were treated as if we would be interrupting something... NOPE nothing was going on so I don't understand why it was a HUGE deal that they LOOK at the reception hall.
Decorating was a NIGHTMARE!! We had our wedding on a Friday so you would think Thursday night we could decorate. NOPE. They had a meeting going that night. Okay fine understandable but instead of offering us an earlier time on Friday they just said...sorry can't help you.
I say all of this not to deter anyone from getting married here but so others know what I dealt with.Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park's reply:
Congratulations on your marriage! Thank you for your contribution to the Conservancy and for supporting our efforts in preserving the Cuyahoga Valley National Park for future generations. We are so glad that you chose Happy Days Lodge as the venue for your wedding. As you know, the Happy Days Lodge is a beautiful historic building, however as we communicate prior to reservations there are some restrictions to decorating to maintain the quality of this magnificent venue. While we are always welcoming of private events in our facilities, we also regularly host National Park Service functions and must be willing to share the space. Since our facility rental periods are inclusive of setup and breakdown time, many clients do choose to purchase extra hours in addition to their event date. Please, understand that we are only able to schedule this time based upon availability. While there may not be an event immediately after your rental extension period, we do have to charge additional fees for that time to compensate our Conservancy event host and maintenance staff that work during that time to ensure the building remains both accessible and presentable for you as well as the next guest. We do apologize for your feeling that your experience was less than perfect, but would like to again thank you for your support of the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We wish you all the best! -

Forgot to light the fire place for us. Up Charged on everything possible from the vendors to getting an extra hour to rehearsal.Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park's reply:
Hello Ryan,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I hope you and your bride are enjoying being newlyweds!
I'm so sorry to hear that the fireplace wasn't started for your event. If your wishes to have a fire started were communicated to our staff, then we absolutely should have delivered. Please accept my apology.
The Conservancy does not apply any charges for vendors, or charges for anything beyond the facility rental, so please contact me directly to discuss your experience.
When our wedding couples wish to schedule rehearsal time, we love to accommodate! That said, there are expenses associated with opening the facility, such as staff wages. Therefore, we must apply a minimal fee to cover our costs, so that we can continue our work to connect our guests with this beautiful National Park.
Thank you so much again for supporting the Conservancy by choosing Happy Days Lodge as the venue for your wedding. As always, do not hesitate to contact me to discuss any of your concerns -- or for any reason at all!

Dont respond
Emailed to see the venue... didnt get a response.. emailed a second time.. finally got a response after 2 days. Kayla said she would show me the venue, she isnt even the one who showed me. Some other girl did. Loved it tho, had them email me a contract. After signing it you have 5 days to make a payment. I didnt sign the contract right away because I didnf have the money right then. Waited a week, had the money, signed the contract and emailed them fo make see the contract was still good for my date since it had been a week or so. No response. I'm NOT paying shit til I know it's all still good. Tried Kayla twice. Nate once. And kayla one more time after that.. it's been a week and STILL NO RESPONSE. I am not past my 5 day mark for the first payment. SO even if I did want it, I'd have to start over because no one likes to get back to you. What happens if I have questions closer to my wedding? I wont get an answer til my wedding day? Smh. It was a gorgeous place too.Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park's reply:

The venue was gorgeous, but not worth it all in the end. The only thing provided were tables and chairs, and they didn't have enough tables and chairs to cover our guests. We were told the venue fits 200 guests, but when it came to seating, there was only enough room for 144 on the floor without renting more tables. Our ceremony was in the screened porch and they had to take chairs from that space to fill our reception space immediately following. I can respect the no taping or stapling materials up due to the wood, however they are not flexible on time when it comes to set up and clean up. We had the space until 12 and had to be COMPLETELY out by 12, even though there was not an event the next day and people would be there to clean. Who wants to do all of that right after celebrating a wedding? Thank goodness for good friends and family. If you want to use the fridge, don't bother. We were told we could use it when we signed (with a different girl who left) and when we went to use it for our reception, the event planner told us "it was not in our contract, and was not her problem". She wouldn't let our food vendor use it to store our food! And beware, the parking lot is across the street. The grounds were soggy for our wedding and the tunnel/path was a muddy disaster and flooded. It was not good for guests who had to walk. I am really bummed since I loved the look of the venue, but there was so many issues with the planning part of it, I began to get upset. It didn't help we had switched event planners at the venue 4 times since we booked. Overall, they were overpriced and not accommodating. The fact that is it $4000 for a room for 1/2 a day and all you get is chairs and tables (and not enough) is super frustrating. Don't waste your money! Our other vendors are what made it an amazing day.Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park's reply:
First, congratulations on your marriage. We are honored that you chose Happy Days Lodge as the venue for your wedding. Your event, and all events at Happy Days Lodge, help to ensure the Conservancy can function in support of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and to help preserve it for generations to come. For your contribution to that effort, you have my deepest gratitude.
We believe that open and honest communication is the key to a successful event at Happy Days Lodge. While the facility is beautiful, and truly one-of-a-kind, it is also an historic building, located within a National Park. We know very well that working within an historic building can be restrictive, so we ensure we communicate all of the venue's limitations to potential clients prior to booking. Happy Days Lodge has always been a DIY venue, and we established our rental offerings in order to accommodate that, while also working within the terms of our facility lease. We understand that this model is not for everyone, so we strive to provide our clients with all the information they need to create a strategy for bringing their perfect vision to life. If you feel that the venue, its offerings, or its limitations were misrepresented, or that any information about the facility was not clearly communicated to you, please contact me immediately to discuss further.
Sincerely,
