Tooo cute to give away!

This was my first time ordering from Hanson Ellis and when I tell you I will def order again!!!! The customer service was great as far as keeping me informed of the products status and shipping information. When I received the item I was in awe! I only ordered 12 but I am going to use them to decorate my cake table and I am keeping two for us...BEAUTIFUL

Beautiful shell!

I bought this box for wedding favors. I had a destination wedding and these were perfect! I had them engraved with our name and date and filled them with pearl looking chocolate candy. Everyone love them! It was a big hit and worth every penny. I highly recommend this product for beach wedding!

Perfect for summer weddings!

I wanted to present a pearl jewelry set I got for my bridesmaids in a unique way so I was hoping there would be a clam jewelry box somewhere. This was exactly what I was looking for and I loved that it could be personalized! It came exactly how I expected it to be and the professionalization/clams look beautiful! It shipped very fast and I cannot wait to give these to my bridesmaids! It will be so special, thank you!

Loved these!

Used these sweet buri fans for my daughter's wedding. A June wedding in Hawaii, we knew it was going to be hot in the church and had a basket of these for guests to take as they entered. We tied a tag on each with a short quote from Corinthians and the bride and groom's names and the date. Got some nice comments from guests. These are a good value and this company was nice to work with! Add it to your cart...go on, add it. :)

Christmas in bora bora

We are having our wedding in bora bora the dat after Christmas and wanted a really unique invitation, so we redid the scroll inside the ornament, added white flowers to the top and then changed it to blue sand! Wow, what a beautiful invitation it turned out to be with a little creativity! I could not imagine anything more perfect to invite people to the most beautiful place on earth! Beach Wedding Invitation in a Bottle

I ordered the tropical Beach Wedding Invitation in a Bottle for my daughter's wedding in Aruba. I loved it and the guests were thrilled to receive it. When the guests received it we got countless calls complementing us on the invitation. I forgot to make a change on the bottle to add ARUBA and the friendly staff was very accommodating by adding my request by phone. I highly recommend this item.

My destination wedding

I searched HansonEllis and found lots of beach themed items for favors. As soon as we saw those beautiful starfish with the organza bows, we knew that was what we wanted. They were beautiful and unique. As it turned out, I had ordered more than we actually needed to give to our guests but that worked out to our advantage as well. We were able to use some of the extras as table decoration around our beach wedding cake. It was perfect!

Waterfront Rehearsal Dinner Favor

Product was just as shown on site. Attached to a burlap favor bag, these starfish decorated the tables, as well as, the favor bags and set the theme for the dinner. Everyone loved them!

Birthday Favors were great!!

We purchased the mini adirondack chair placecard holders for my daughter Samantha's 10th birthday on May 10th. We had the party on a local cruise ship here in RI which sails to Newport and all around Naragansett Bay, about 5 hours. So the party theme had to be beach! I bought 2 chairs to put on top of the cake we later designed with a cake artist. Since they were inexpensive, I bought 10 instead of 2, and decided to use the rest as actual place card holders. A couple came into the bakery and saw our sketch & the chairs on the counter, liked it so much they STOLE the chairs to use on their own cake!!! I was glad I planned ahead and had extras, just enough left for the cake plus one for each of 6 guests. Everyone on the boat (including the live band) sang happy birthday and commented on the cake AND the chairs. Thanks so much.

just what I was looking for...

I needed 2 small adirondack chairs to make a "beachy" fairy garden for my cousin who lives far from the ocean. Something she could feel the sand and move things around when it was snowing in Indiana. These were the perfect size and looked great. AND a great price, too!

Theatre Keepsake

I give this as a parting gift to my senior Theatre students: it's a trunk to pack their memories of our time in high school theatre and their dreams of things to come. They absolutely love them. I put their initials on the bottom. We will definitely order again next year. They are small, will look great on a dorm room desk, and the initials are like icing on a cake! Ring Bearer

We order this treasure box for my sister's wedding. My 3 yr old son is the ring bearer. Her wedding is on the beach so we thought instead if a pillow, a chest would look more adorable. Perfect for his little hands and engraving was perfect. Best item we got for the wedding and an amazing price.

Starfish Wedding Invitation in a Bottle

My fiance and I are both marrying for the 2nd time, and we wanted something different for our wedding. Starting with the invitation which has evoked a wonderful response from our guests, we've set the scene for a casual beach wedding where "jackets and ties are forbidden and shoes are optional". Everything ran super smooth. Place the order got my confirmation. They sent me proofs before printing and everything came fast and perfect! Even gave me extra star fishes in case any got mest up but they didn't! Was iffy at first but it turned out great thank God! & thanks to Hanson Ellis !

Even better in person!

Like most people, I was uneasy about buying these msg in a bottle invites online.. but they look even better in person. Our guests just received their invitations and we've gotten calls from almost everyone raving about how cute they are. Perfect for my destination wedding. We got them bottles engraved which, as you can see in the sample pic, turned out very light. Almost not worth doing. Some people didn't even notice until I told them. We added the box to ship them in, and that was definitely worth it. They cost $3 to ship with the box (at UPS). When you purchase the box, they come assembled with the startfish already tied. All we had to do was send them out. These are a great buy! People think we spent $30-$40 per invitation. They are truly amazing.

I couldn't ask for anything else!

I received my order. I have been anxiously waiting for it's arrival!

This item is so unique. We are having a destination wedding to Mexico and I felt like the passport invite has been used out. When I found this "message in a bottle" invitation I couldn't wait for it to be time to order them.

This item doesn't look cheap one bit! Way better than doing it yourself to try and save some money. I definitely recommend all the additional bits. The engraving on the bottle is a nice touch, and I am thrilled that i chose this option. And to sum this up, truly, every little detail to the invite has been thought out and looks absolutely lovely. Everyone of our guests will be blown away with this invitation and only get them more excited to attend our wedding.

The invitations are DARLING! All of my friends and family thought they were the cutest invitations that they had ever seen. My Fiance and I saw these online and just HAD to have them for our Destination Beach wedding. We Live in Canada so i was a bit concerned about the shipping and if they would all make it ( we bought 50 of them) But every single one made it safely, and they even packed and sent us extra starfish! Beyond Perfect

I just rec'd my order less than half an hour ago and OMG these are perfect for our beach themed wedding. They were not only packed so perfectly that all 12 made it to my home in one piece the boxes they sent to mail them out in are going to be perfect to ship them in. I wish I could be there when our guest open their invitations. I know they will be as amazed and thrilled as I am with them. fiance and I were 100% pleased with our unique message in a bottle wedding invitation. It was PERFECT for our Malibu beach wedding. We mailed the invitation out last week and locals got them the very next day... We're getting non-stop texts and phone calls about how BEAUTIFUL the invitations were, how artistic they are and how creative. Oh, one other thing... 100% excellent customer services from the sample order all the way to pick up. I was able to pick ours up because they are local. These invitations were really a hit for our beach wedding next weekend. Many of our guests called us immediately after recieving the invite to tell us how wonderful and unique they were. Most of my guests are going to keep them! And what can I say about the service!! I ordered these last minute and they had them to me so quickly! I was even able to order additional starfish at a later time so I could use them for the bouts and bouquets! Wonderful, caring staff!! Great and worth it!

Bought these bottles as save the dates for a seaside wedding and receiving positive responses. My fiance was a little hesitant about spending extra money but I convinced him that it would be worth it. Seriously, sometimes you have to create buzz and interest to perspective guests. Especially if its a destination wedding it helps to be creative and give guests something tangible to hold and think "do I really want to miss this wedding?" The first is always the best!

This is my first wedding and hopefully my only one, but this is not my first invitation and not the last. Quote "I have been to a lot of weddings but I have never seen an invite as good as this!" What is this..?!

I received my invitations in the mail last week and told myself, "Don't forget to grab the best one for yourself as a souvenir." Well, there is no "best one" because they're all really cool! I'm from Hawaii and am now living in Maine and will be having an ocean/Hwn. themed wedding and this is perfect! I told a few people I'd hand-deliver theirs and they said to just leave it in their mailbox at work but I said that wouldn't work. It's not an envelope, it's a box. Silence on the phone! Shock & Awe!

I am 100% Pleased with every thing from this company! The Customer service was extremely efficient, patient and reliable. The invitations came well packaged with nothing broken and they were absolutely adorable! They even sent extra starfish in case any were broken in the box!! Awesome! My fiancee and I felt like even though we are not going someplace tropical we want to bring beach theme to the reception and this was our first step. Noone had any idea what to expect and of course most people expect the typical paper invitation...well this shocked everyone! The best part DEFINITELY has to be all of the responses I recieved from my guests when they saw the invitation. What a hit!

We are getting married in Jamaica and what better way to invite people, than a message in a bottle?! We were originally going to DIY these, but my MOM sent me a link to this website and everything was already perfect and thought out, why keep the added stress of making them ourselves? Also, the price was right when comparing it to all of the supplies we would have needed to make them! We still got to keep them personal with the palm tree logo we designed with our names and the date- it was engraved on the bottle (something we'd never be able to do ourselves) and it was also on the invitation and RSVP. People loved receiving them, it was like an early Christmas! Within 2 days of sending them out, I started getting text messages, emails and phone calls with everyone so excited- they were already booking their flights! Perfect for our beach wedding!!

My fiance and I are getting marriend in Mexico this January and thought that these invitations were perfect for our beach wedding! I have gotten so many complements on them and everyone thought that they were such a creative idea. So far none have been reported being delivered broken so if you are worriend about shipping, don't be. The bottles fit into the box nice and snug. I did fill the box up with tissue paper to add some extra padding and to also make it look pretty. Overall, the invitations looked amazing. They really set the tone for our beach wedding!

My wedding was suddenly having to be re-routed from Destin to St Augustine, Fl due to the oil crisis; HansonEllis was terrific during this process. I bought the most darling little succulent tea light candles from HansonEllis.com. Other vendors also provide similar favors, but these came packaged beautifully and were a much better quality than other novelty tea lights. The order came with four different succulent styles, they were individually wrapped with a nice bow and labeled with a custom label, which said "I'm stuck on you." They shipped them to me in secure packaging, and on time, as they promised. My only regret is that I wish I had bought more because everyone was snatching them up. I highly recommend this website because they have very unique favors/gifts and they will wrap them up in an aesthetically pleasing manner, which removes a lot of stress from the wedding planning. Also, the value is great, I don't think other vendors can provide completely wrapped, ready-to-go favors for the same low price.

We ordered 'message in a bottle' wedding invitations for our wedding. The first time they sent them the rolled message inside was a mess when you took it out - it was two peices are it came apart and kind of yuck. But we called and within a week they fixed the problem (loved the new invitations) and we had the new invites. We stayed on the phone with them a good bit working it out, and they were polite and quick. I would definately recommend them. They were a little pricey - over 5 bucks each, but we had a small wedding so it worked. I loved them for our beach wedding. All in all - loved the product and GREAT customer service

I purchased my invitations through them, they were messages in glass bottles w/ sand and shells in them. AMAZING! They got to me fast and were perfect and everyone loved them. I also bought some great picture frames and gifts for our families...all at very reasonable prices...great prices actually! :)

Ordered 2 different items on 22nd February to be engraved. One was delivered on 2nd April and the other is expected to be delivered on 30th April. The transit time and turnaround is far too slow and not what they specify on their website or confirmation email (as shown below). They did not let me know that the items were out of stock and only after I contacted Hanson Ellis (26th March) to check the status, customer service informed me that the items had just come in and would be shipped out within a week. As one item was not received, I followed up again on 8th April and was told that it would ship out this week. On 24th April I contacted again and was advised that they made a mistake and the wrong item came in and it had just come in and would be going out this week.
Based on the time taken to receive the items and the fact I had to contact them 3 times for information is the reason I would not recommend ordering from them.

Never order from this company! The item is expected to arrive within 7-14 days, but it's now three weeks and haven't arrived. I'm going away on a vacation today and don't have this gift with me to take. I called them and they picked up right away. They were willing to refund me 50%, but it doesn't matter because i don't have that special gift. I now have to go out and buy another gift last minute because they wasted my time with their delivery promises which they never meet.

For a gifts online store, I would think delivery timing is crucial as there are events people plan and depend on these items to arrive on time, but apparently they do not take it seriously! After reading from the rest of the posts, I don't even know when I will receive the gift anymore.

Lots of cute stuff on their website for real reasonable prices. But I ordered some tea infusers with a customized label. Got a receipt from them showing it was paid for Sept 10. After 10 days and no notice saying it had been shipped, I emailed them to ask when it might be coming. 5 more days since then and still no notice AND no response to my email. Something that I ordered the same day from a different company arrived almost two weeks ago. In this computer age, I think there is no excuse for this unresponsiveness and I won't order anything from them again.

I paid for mini genie bottles with a message scroll. When I received the proof with the custom text for the scroll I was very disappointed. The font and design were very poor and unprofessional - it looked like a middle schooler had typed it up in a big blob on the sheet. I designed my own version and sent it 9 times! Each time the proofs looked nothing like what I sent. I had multiple phone conversations with Tracy because I kept calling - no one called me back when I left messages. I was talked over and cut off by Keith multiple times. The sales team is very unprofessional. I would not recommend using Hanson Ellis if you want quality items or service.

Horrible HORRIBLE customer experience with them. They ended up not fulfilling my order, but DIDNT LET ME KNOW for three weeks until I hounded their customer service people. And they never made it right. I WOULD AVOID THEM if you absolutely positively need your items.

Originally, my wedding party was supposed to be only six people, so I placed an order via Hanson Ellis for engraved chopsticks and several other small favors (namely seashell turtles). I had placed several other orders, including personalized gifts, with other websites the same day, yet this order arrived several weeks after I had received my other items. Though not exactly timely, I was pleased with the quality of work. The chopsticks looked nice, and this was one of the only sites I found where you could customize the chopsticks individually rather than in sets of 12. However, the wedding party somehow grew to fourteen, and I had to place a second order. This order was basically a duplicate of the first, chopsticks, soap, and the little turtle seashells. I received the order on Tuesday, April 3rd, and to my dismay, the package was missing the seashells, even though it stated on the packing slip that they were there. I called up Hanson Ellis and explained that they were missing, and that with my wedding date being April 8th, if they were unable to get them to me, that they should just cancel them and refund my money. The agent ensured me that they would arrive on Friday via 3day shipping and it wouldn't be a problem. Friday morning, I checked the shipment tracking to find that the status has updated and my turtles wouldn't arrive until Monday. I call up Hanson Ellis, only to reach a standard answering machine. I leave my name and a message for them to contact me about the situation. Later that afternoon, I still hadn't heard from them, so I called again, only to find they had changed their answering message to a "we're closed early for Easter weekend." Again, I leave a message. Monday afternoon rolls around, still no follow up call, so I call again. Luckily, they answer and I explain my situation, at which point the agent decides to accuse of me of perhaps throwing the turtles out with the packaging. After speaking with her supervisor she says they're willing to refund the money for the turtles. I ask whether my shipping costs will be refunded to me, given that I paid to have my items shipped to me in a timely fashion. She starts by saying they paid more to ship the chopsticks and turtles (a hefty package huh?) than what I paid in shipping costs. Then she says I'm lucky they didn't charge me to express (3day ship) the turtles to my house (because I should pay for their warehouse screwing up). Then after again putting me on hold, apparently she got permission from her supervisor to credit me $2, at which point, I just gave up and accepted that they are contending for the worst customer service to exist. Oh, and her reason for them not calling me back? Apparently between Thursday night when their customer service closed, and Friday morning when they opened and I called, they're answering machine got backed up, and there were simply lots of calls to be taken care of. Right...

Thank God I only ordered one thing from here MONTHS before my reception. I orded a satin mailbox as a gift card holder. I think I ordered it in December, they billed me for it & I never received anything. I e-mailed customer service & never heard back. I called in February & said there was a problem with the engraving...there was no engraving. So they looked again & go "Oh we ran out & are ordering more." Which would have been ok except that I was supposed to get it mid-January! They asked if it was a gift, even thought the form asked who you were in relation to the wedding party. They told me that I needed to follow up in order to make sure it was shipped. Really? Why don't I just drive from NJ to CA to pick it up then???

I finally got it about two months later...thankfully my recpetion wasn't until August. They threw in a "free gift" for the delay...a cheesy looking wedding certificate holder. At the time I placed the order I was supposed to get a free mug...I called & they said they ran out & I would have to call back in two weeks to see if they got more in & to remind them to ship it to me. Thanks, but no thanks. Never again will I buy anything from them.

The only upside is that their website was the only place I saw that mailbox & it was really a good item.

Don't ever buy anything from this Company. I purchased a wine presentation box from them & paid for expedited shipping. I live about 30 miles away from them. It took 3 days for them to get me my package. Let's put this in perspective. I orderded some deluxe wedding DVD cases from a company in San Luis Obispo over a 100 miles away. Both packages shipped on Monday one from Hanson in Torrance, CA the other from Digital Wedding cases in San Luis Obispo.

The proprietor of Digital wedding cases emailed & called me Monday morning to fix an issue with my order & offer me a refund on the expedited order because he could get it to me on Tuesday via USPS priority mail. I'll use his service for the rest of my life.

Hanson on the other hand sent me an email saying the order shipped USPS priority mail & that was pretty much the end of their responsibility. I called after receiving my order to ask for a shipping refund & got the head of customer service, Tracy who shouldn't be in charge of servicing her own life. How she is in charge mystifies & leads me to believe either she won't be there much longer or this company just doesn't care about customers once they get paid. My order came on a Thursday & they flat refused to refund me of my expedited shipping cost. I asked to speak to her Manager whom she told me, his name was KD. She refused to let me speak with him. I'm quite livid but thanks for showing me another company never to do business with again.
