Affordable and reliable!

Hansen’s Flower Shop was amazing! Even though our wedding was just a month away, they were able to provide beautiful bouquets for me and my bridesmaids. They were affordable, reliable, and made the whole process so easy. I couldn’t have asked for better flowers for our special day!

Easy to work with and does beautiful work

I first went to Bruce's/Hansen's before Covid and came up with a plan for wedding flowers. My now husband and I decided to stick with our date, even with Covid, and Tina went right with it! She made me feel so at ease and comfortable- she never made me feel guilty or pressured me into keeping things the same when I told her I changed my mind about what I wanted to do. She listened to what I wanted, and created bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and cake flowers better than what I imagined. She is top notch- highly professional, skilled, and a great person to work with overall. My mother also used her to do my shower centerpieces. Every single person in the room commented on how beautiful the flowers were! Highly recommended, wouldn't go anywhere else for a special event!

Beautiful flowers!

We used Hansen’s for my bridal flowers for our simple backyard wedding - 3 bouquets and a boutonniere. I talked with Nancy via email and showed her a picture of what I was looking for, and she really delivered. The flowers came out beautifully, and they look amazing in our pictures!

The most beautiful flowers!

Working with Hansen’s Flower Shop was truly a pleasure. Tina is a delight and created the most beautiful bouquet and center pieces! Due to Covid-19, we scaled back our wedding and completely changed plans. Hansen’s was so accommodating and flexible throughout the whole process. We cannot praise them and their work enough!

I worked with Tina at Hansen's for my wedding and she made my dreams come true. The visuals she created were exactly what I wanted, even when I had difficulty putting it into words. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone! They clearly love what they do and do it well!

Beautiful florals, good value

Tina was a delight to work with! She was very flexible and created exactly what we needed. The setup was seamless—we arrived at the venue to find everything perfectly arranged. The value was also quite good, and we never felt pressured to spend more. The whole process was very transparent and a pleasure!

Great Florist!

I used Hansen’s Flower Shop this past June for my daughter’s wedding. Tina was so wonderful to work with. The wedding flowers were simple and beautiful. Exactly what my daughter wanted. Tina’s attention to every detail was evident in the gorgeous bouquets and centerpiece she put together. I would definitively recommend Hansen’s for your wedding. You won’t be disappointed!

Hansen's Flower Shop is the Best!

We were lucky enough to have selected the Hansen’s Flower Shop to prepare the flower arrangements for our daughter and son, Meeka’s and Stephen’s wedding. Our florist, Tina Ahlberg, performed above and beyond our expectations. The flower arrangements were breathtaking beautiful and contributed greatly to making our wedding magical and memorable. The bouquets and the boutonnières were perfect exactly as we had envisioned. Tina is truly an artist and we look forward to working with her again when our other three daughters wed.

We loved working with Hansen's Flower shop for our wedding. Tina was amazing to work with from the onset, and was responsive, creative and supportive in helping guide us through the process. The value was really on par with what we expected, and it was great that we gave our budget to begin with and then we weren't pressured to go over it. It was such a pleasure working with Tina at Hansen's Flower Shop. Tina was amazing at listening to all of my ideas and making them that much better with her ideas. Tina was sure to keep in touch through all of the months leading up to the wedding. Its was so nice to finally work with someone who did not pressure my husband and I and made the whole wedding experience that much better. Tina at Hansen's Flower shop created the most magical centerpieces and bouquets for my wedding. I have never seen flowers as unique or as beautiful as the ones she used. Tina worked with me for months to come up with the perfect design and when the day finally came I couldn't have been happier with the end result. The multitude of colors and textures, the truly natural elegance to each piece, was my vision brought to life. I would highly recommend hiring Hansen’s Flower Shop for your next big event! We worked directly with Tina for our wedding, and she was an absolute professional. Living in the area, we knew that Hansen’s already had a reputable name, and working with them during the event planning process exceeded our already high expectations. Tina understood our vision from the very beginning, which made planning the details so much easier - she just got it. Working with Tina was so easy, she was reachable and a great listener. We wanted a light, romantic and more rustic floral decor theme - and she completely nailed it! She created a beautiful birch and greenery archway for the ceremony, and a stunning arrangement for our farm style head table. All of our guests commented on how unique the arrangements were. The flowers totally made the vibe, we barely had any other decor at the wedding. Thank you, Hansen’s, and Tina, for executing our fairytale wedding perfectly!

I could not have been happier with the beautiful bouquets, corsages, romantic floral arrangements, gorgeous candle light centerpieces, stunning candle light tree, and matching décor at our wedding and reception. Tina was so fantastic to work with. She brought my vision and the romantic theme for the wedding to life. Our experience with Tina Ahlberg from Hansen's Florist shop in Fairfield went far beyond our expectations. We had a limited budget but Tina worked with us to get everything we desired and more. Tina listed attentively to our desires to keep the flowers simple, yet elegant using baby's breath, greens for the bridesmaids bouquets. The bride's bouquet was to be a mix of baby's breath, berries, and have texture, yet diversity. When the flowers were delivered, we were blown away by the magnificence of the flowers! Even the boutineers, which were simply baby's breath, twine, berries, lamb's ear were awesome and had charm & character! We requested greens for the reception tables and cake, and Tina's work made our reception magical! There are not enough words that can compliment her abilities. She went above and beyond and how thankful we are that Tina was such a special part of our daughter's wedding. Thank you Tina, and thank you Hansens!

We came in with a very vague idea of the colors we were hoping for with our wedding flowers, and were absolutely stunned by the gorgeous arrangements Tina created for our wedding day. She managed to capture a classical and lovely look while adding in a playful quality that we never would have been able to imagine without her. She also created a comb with flowers for my hair, and I loved it so much that I actually decided not to wear my veil the morning of the wedding so I wouldn't cover them! We received so many compliments on the bouquets, boutonnieres, table flowers, and the hair piece and couldn't have been happier with everything. From the first meeting to the big day, we can't recommend Tina and the rest of the team enough for communication, professionalism, creativity and unbelievably beautiful products. Hansen’s worked on my sister’s wedding years ago so I knew I could trust them to do a good job when it was my turn. I planned my wedding in a matter of months and while I was sure of the overall look and feel I wanted, when my mother and I first met with Tina I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted when it came to the flowers. Tina patiently walked us through photo after photo of what she thought would go with the “soft/romantic” feel I was trying to achieve and I was so thrilled to walk out of our meeting 100% sure of what we landed on. Her guidance really helped us to tie the whole look together and the price was more than fair, there were no surprises. We did everything in such a short time frame and I think this is where her expertise was obvious. Whether it was our last-minute addition of hanging orchids at the ceremony site or having to find a solution when the topiaries we ordered arrived looking sad and not to her satisfaction, Tina and her staff made everything seem effortless…which I have to say, to a bride this is priceless! They did an absolutely amazing job, from my gorgeous bouquet to decorating the ceremony site (helping to shift the entire site slightly when they realized there was a bee’s nest near where we had originally planned to say our vows!) to the centerpieces, everything they did was simply stunning. My centerpieces still looked like new 4 days later. I would absolutely choose them again!

My husband and I got married this past August on a vineyard and wanted our flower arrangements to fit in and look natural with the surroundings. We met with Carol, who truly has an eye for color and loves what she does. She instantly started putting together little bouquets filled with the colors we imagined and helped put our visions together. Our ceremony was held outside next to the vines, and under this beautful wooden arch which was built on the property just a few weeks earlier. We wanted to jazz it up somehow, so we sent pictures of it to Carol to see if she had anything in mind. And did she!! She came up with a gorgeous display of sunflowers, daisies, vines and many other flowers which included colors to tie in our wedding theme. On either side of the arch sitting on top of wine barrels were more displays of sunflowers amongst other flowers. For the reception, we had wild flowers in mason jars which was so simple and yet elegant. Carol was wonderful to work with and she did such a fabulous job with the flower arrangements!!

Tina at Hansen's did the most beautiful job on my flowers for my wedding. I had some ideas of what I wanted and a color palette, but she was able to transform those into something far more beautiful than I could have imagined. I would HIGHLY recommend Tina to everyone!

I had such a great experience working with Hansen's! From the first time I met with Tina I felt like she really listened to me and understood my flower ideas, and offered great suggestions. I could not have been happier with the way all my flowers turned out, from the tables to the bouquets! Hansen's was also there for me when I needed them. There was a hurricaine coming the day of my wedding and I had some issues with some of my other vendors because of it, but not Hansen's! They just coordinated with the events manager at my venue and handled everything. I can't thank them enough!

We were so delighted with the service Hansen's (and particularly their wedding consultant, Tina Ahlberg) provided for our wedding, from the first time in the flower shop to walking down the aisle. Tina was excited to be creative, heard what we wanted and produced bouquets and decorative touches beyond our hopes or expectations. We would recommend them in a heartbeat and are also glad to have a local florist to use from now on.

Tina did all of our wedding bouquets, table pieces and boutonniers. She was absolutely fantastic and it was so good to have someone that could so easily tap into what I had envisioned.

Tina with Hansen's Flower Shop was truly amazing and I cannot say enough good things! I knew from reading reviews that we would be in good hands and she definitely didn't disappoint! We had a very specific idea of what we were looking for and Tina helped us and worked within our budget and even adjusted as necessary. Tina even helped us with a few desperate changes that needed to be made the week of. When the flowers arrived at our hotel they took my breath away. Everything was so beautiful and better than I ever could have imagined! Later when I arrived at the ceremony/reception, I was even more shocked to see how absolutely stunning everything looked!! Tina truly went above and beyond and I cannot recommend her and Hansen's Flower Shop enough!!!!

My wife-to-be and I began planning our destination wedding from over 900 miles away, and in a short period of two months. We planned to fly from Tennessee to NYC and take the train to Norwalk, CT. We found a justice of the peace, first...THEN we began flower shopping. I googled all the florists in Norwalk and Hansen's appeared on the list. After speaking with Tina, who was most accommodating, I might add, we began the planning process. We emailed photos back and forth several times and finally chose the style of bouquet, and colors. She assured me our arrangements would be beautiful and arrive ON TIME.

On our special day, the flowers arrived (per our request) before we began getting ready. We were sitting in the hotel lobby having coffee when the courier delivered our flowers. Our jaws dropped at how beautiful the arrangements were. The color was PERFECT. I didn't care what it took...we wanted MANGO calla lilies.

Thank you Tina, and Hansen's Flowers. You made our special day more beautiful!

Hansen's did an amazing job with our wedding flowers. We went to them with our 'vision' and some photographs of what we wanted (We were looking for a romantic and whimsical look with interesting flowers) and they took it and ran with it. The flowers were beautiful and even better than I had imaged. Tina was super responsive, flexible, friendly, knowlegable, very open with us regarding flower availability, and willing to work within our budget. I loved my bouquet so much I didn't want to put it down!

We needed to do our floweres on a budget. We 1st went to Hansen's just to get a price to compare to other vendors assuming they would be out of our budget. Everything Gary said to us was so perfect. You could tell he knew what he was talkign about and if we went with them we wouldn't have to worry about the flowers.

We browsed other vendors and found Hansen's to be slighlty above the other vendors but not high enough to chase us away. Other vendors didn't give us the confidence Gary gave us about the work and for quality assurance it was worth the slight diffrence in cost.

The day of the wedding the flowers were all delivered to the church and bakery without a hitch.

My suggestion is shop around but I am confident you will return to Hansen's and be glad you did!

Tina (and Hansen's Flower Shop) did a phenomenal job with the flowers. Every piece came out better than I had even envisioned. The colors, textures and diversity of each floral arrangement was beautiful and the ties between each individual piece was incredible. Would have loved to save every single flower from the wedding if I could. Absolutely incredible!

I loved working with Tina. She loved my vision for the wedding and appreciated my love of flowers. The only issue I had is that the flower crown she made me was much bigger than I described wanting, I ended up using half of it in my hair and actually loved how it looks even more than a crown would have looked.

I worked with Tina at Hansen's. We had a consultation that looked at my wedding theme, colors and ideas I already had. She was able to blend them altogether along with specific Scottish ribbon I wanted used throughout. My wedding bouquet was just gorgeous and complimented my dress perfectly. Tina also put together my table centre pieces in conch shells that I had already bought. They were truly the centre piece - and talk - of the table. The flowers used throughout the day were first class and lasted throughout the week, allowing me to enjoy them for longer.

My wedding flowers were all around beautiful. I loved my bridal bouquet and the centerpieces looked awesome in the mercury glass vases Hansen's had available. I was also very pleased with being able to rent shepard's hooks from them to hang the smaller mason jar arrangements going down the aisle. I was even able to rent a vintage birdcage for our cards! The quality of the flowers really is top notch and the wedding florist, Tina, is so nice to work with!

I worked with Tina at Hansen's for my wedding on 9/27/15. Throughout the process she was very responsive and was completely willing to work with my vision and color scheme. The flowers turned out absolutely gorgeous. The colors in the flowers matched perfectly with the colors of my bridesmaids dresses (they had three different colors). Everyone kept commenting on how perfect the flowers were! I adored the bouquets and the centerpieces and also loved what she did with the arch for the ceremony. It was perfectly romantic and simple. While a little pricey, she kept in mind my budget the entire time. With what we spent on flowers for the wedding, I think the outcome was perfection. I wouldn't have changed a thing! I would 100% recommend using Hansen's for your wedding!

Tina was so great to deal with. She saw our vision and followed through to create the most spectacular flowers....from the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, to the altar arrangments, to the tables at the reception. Tina Alberg was so great to work with from start to finish. She understood immediately the look we wanted to have and created it so beautifully. Simple but very elegant! Carol was wonderful to work with-- she sat with my mother and me a few times and listened as we (tried to!) explain our vision for the wedding and church. She also met my mother and the wedding planner at the church to discuss flower placemetn, etc. We did something somewhat unprecidented and requested trees be brought into the church... we had no idea how that was going to happen but Carol kept us updated throughout the year and delivered four beautiful ficus which worked perfectly along the aisle and on the altar... my mom thought I was nuts when I initially mentioned trees, but Carol made it happen!

The bride and bridesmaid bouquets were perfect- just the right colors, shape, and sizes. We had Midori Satin ribbon drame from my bouquet and she tied it beautifully so there were three tails at all different lengths... they looked beautiful blowing in the wind for the pictures!

I wouldn't change a thing.

My husband I were married 8.19.16 in Westport and I did not want your typical wedding flowers. I was looking more on the side of greenery for a romantic, ethereal feel. When my mom went and saw Tina she said that was what she loved to do and boy was she right! It's hard to find pictures of what I was looking for but when our wedding day came it was exactly as I dreamed! I had the most magnificent bouquet that I wanted with me in every picture. I am not into big centerpieces so we had candles and floating flowers and I wanted a garland on the railing which was perfect. She came up with the idea to have mt 2 flower girls walk down the isle with garland rather than baskets and it fit the theme perfectly! And I had an amazing flower crown to wear during the reception! We were missing a boutonniere but one phone call later it was delivered to us no problem. We were so happy with everything!
