Beautiful ceremony instrumentals!

I was fortunate enough to have HSQ play my ceremony at Cameron Estate Inn in Mount Joy. Their music was absolutely beautiful and truly brought out the elegance of not only the ceremony but the venue! Our guests complimented the ceremony music for weeks following our wedding. Deb was extremely easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and I would highly recommend HSQ’s services (whether duo, trio, or quartet) to couples looking for live, intimate instrumentals!

Wonderful Ceremony Music

Wedding Ceremony

Deb was an absolute pleasure to work with! They provided a list with excellent variety for songs they would be able to play for our special day and checked in throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, they were on time, professional, and we could not have asked for a better performance. I highly recommend them!

Efficient and Responsive

The Hanover String Quartet performed at our Ceremony and Cocktail Hour. They were so great and professional. Deb, the lead violinist, was responsive and very easy to work with. The Hanover String Quartet have been playing at weddings for years so have the logistics perfectly down. I would recommend them to any couple looking for good classical music at their wedding. They were also reasonable in terms of pricing.

Exceptional!

I highly recommend the HSQ! Correspondence was very prompt and professional — it was a pleasure to work directly with Deb. The group was very accommodating and helpful when it came to choosing musical selections for our prelude and postlude for our wedding ceremony. The group was also familiar with the ceremony venue and organist, so they were able to liaise directly, which saved me some time/work (always a plus). I am so glad that I booked them early in the process because my date was in high demand, so I recommend booking them early!

The Perfect Touch

The Hanover String Trio did a phenomenal job on our wedding day. Deb was extremely friendly and made the process easy and most of all, fun! We requested a specific song that was not listed on their repertoire for our ceremony. Deb went above and beyond to ensure that the arrangement could be prepared and maintained constant communication with us. Hanover Strings provided the perfect touch to our special day and we would highly recommend them in the future.

Made the extra effort and very responsive

We had the Hanover String Trio for our wedding. Deb was the most responsive vendor I dealt with. She was an absolute delight. The groom requested a song they didn't have in their repertoire and they tracked down the arrangement - which was not easy because the song is by a UK band. They also did our cocktail hour which was a great way to transition from the ceremony to the DJ at dinner. I can't reccomend them enough.

Hanover String Quartet is the best, they played lovely in our ceromony. We got in contact with Debra and she helped us with everything. They are very flexible, and they worked with our budget. Instead of the quartet we had a trio and still sounded amazing. They were professional from beginning to end, and worked with us even though our ceremony was in spanish. Once again Hanover String Quarter is the best and I will surely recommend them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Deb was great with communication throughout the entire wedding planning process, she met with us before the ceremony and provided helpful ceremony suggestions. She gave us a CD of their music that we can listen to to reminisce about our day. Our guests loved the string quartet and the special touch they added to our day!

I can't begin to say enough about Deb. She is very professional but yet so personable. She was flexible enough to meet with us prior to our wedding and responded immediately to my questions and emails. That was extremely important to me as we had so many other things we had to juggle. But most importantly, she was so kind and talented. I only met with her briefly but through our short meetings and email exchanges I could tell that she was a truly kind spirit blessed with an amazing talent. I'm so glad her and her company were able to play at our wedding!

I had my wedding at Liberty Mountain Resort two weeks ago and had the Hanover String Quartet play during my ceremony and cocktail hour. Deb was friendly, responsive, organized, and incredibly easy to work with leading up to the wedding. She checked in routinely, and even let me know ahead of time if she was going to be away from her computer for a few days in case she didn't get back right away. She really was top notch when it came to communication, preparation, and organization. On the day of, I didn't need to worry about a thing. They worked with my venue's wedding coordinator to get set up. I was fortunate enough to be able to stop by and meet them during cocktail hour, but as I said I didn't even need to coordinate anything on the day of with them. Music was beautiful, they exceeded my expectations :)

Hanover String Quartet was fantastic! We used a small venue for our wedding reception, so we hired the Hanover String Trio. We had many positive comments regarding the music. The music was perfect for our garden-like setting. Additionally, the musicians were great to work with - always promptly replying to my questions via e-mail. I recommend the Trio or Quartet for your special day!

The trio played at our wedding on May 6th this year, and Deb was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. She was always extremely responsive, friendly, helpful, and was so careful to make sure that she had all of the details straight.

On the day of the wedding we had to use our rain plan, and the trio immediately found the best place to set up and got right to it.

When it was time for me to make my entrance into the ceremony, and heard "The Bridal Chorus", I felt like I was in a dream. The music was beautiful and it was so nice to include a traditional element to an otherwise more casual wedding.

Deb and the Hanover String Quartet were the perfect choice for our wedding! Deb was so friendly and provided easy guidance on choosing songs for the different parts of the ceremony. She replied to emails quickly and made me feel so comfortable preparing for the wedding day. Their website is very professional and allowed us to listen to samples to help make our decision easier. Their music was so beautiful and really made the ceremony special. I would have definitely booked them for a cocktail hour too if we had one. They were that great. My husband and father in law are musicians who have an ear for how other musicians are performing. They readily endorsed Hanover String Quartet as a talented group which means a lot because they are picky on pointing out a musician’s skill. From the trained ear and the laymen’s ear, everyone loved the music and I would highly recommend Hanover Strong Quartet to anyone!

Deb was excellent to work with! She offered lots of guidance about music selection and was extremely responsive. The ceremony music was one thing I wanted to make sure was perfect and working with Deb she helped make that come true. We had lots of compliments about our ceremony music. Compared to other quartets in the area, their prices were very reasonable. Our ceremony started a half an hour late and they played the whole time for our guests as they were waiting. I can't say enough good things about Hanover String Quartet! They truly helped make our ceremony better than I could have imagined.

The Hanover String Quartet added the perfect touch to our wedding day. Leading up to the wedding, Deb was so responsive and went the extra mile to meet with me and my family from out of town. She got to to know our musical tastes and really helped us come up with a wonderful selection for our wedding day. We were very pleased with the services rendered at my daughter's wedding. Deb was very good at communicating and she promptly replied to all my inquiries. We absolutely loved working with Deb and the Hanover String Quartet/Trio. Easy to work with, very responsive and the music was so wonderful. I was not able to enjoy all of the music as the bride but I must say walking down the aisle to the Trio and exiting our wedding hearing the music in the background was perfect. If I could do it again and use the Trio, I would not hesitate.

Let the quartet know your wishes and they will honor all of them while making suggestions for you as well! They provided us with many, many options for music for both the ceremony and cocktail reception. I relied on their expertise and they did an phenomenal job. It added so much to the pre-ceremony as people were being seated and to the ceremony and recessional as well. Would high recommend!

Deb and the Hanover String Quartet did a fabulous job performing for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! We received so many complements from our guests. We really like the wide selection of classical to contemporary music. They really made our wedding day that much more special! Deb had great communication throughout the entire process and was very helpful with music selection. There were some last minute location changes the day of our wedding due to rain, and the quartet had no problems adjusting smoothly. Deb and the Hanover String Quartet were so wonderful to work with, and provided beautiful music at our daughter's wedding ceremony. Their lovely music was the elegant touch our daughter was looking for, and was greatly enjoyed by our guests. The recommended list of wedding music, made choosing the music selections effortless, and included many of our favorites. My daughter enjoyed selecting the music, and remembering fondly how she had played a lot of the selections in the orchestra, as a violist. It made the ceremony so special for all of us.

The Hanover String Quartet played beautifully at our wedding last week, and we received so many compliments on their performance from our guests! Deb was very easy to work and coordinate with, and provided a lot of helpful recommendations when we needed them! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for someone for their ceremony music.

Hanover String Quartet/Trio was the perfect choice for my ceremony and cocktail hour music. From the beginning, Deb was very responsive and easy to work with. She helped me make great selections for my wedding and everything was beautiful. The music sounded so classic and elegant adding the perfect touch. I got so many compliments from family about how great the Trio sounded. If you are looking for a string quartet for a function, you can't go wrong with Hanover String Quartet!!!

Deb was extremely responsive and very accommodating to our requests. While our ceremony consisted of more traditional wedding songs, we requested contemporary music for the prelude. Our guests commented on how great it was to hear those types of songs played by a quartet. Hanover String Quartet was definitely an important component to a beautiful ceremony. Thank you!

Soon after we contacted HSQ they responded to help us decide our ceremony music. They provided an extensive list of music they had prepared and were even willing to arrange pieces that they didn't already have. HSQ arrived at our outdoor ceremony site on time and by the time we arrived HSQ was set up and already playing prelude music. We weren't sure about having a quartet at first, but looking back we're glad we did. Our ceremony was outdoors and having the live music in the background hanging in the air made the event that much more special. After the ceremony HSQ made sure to pack up and leave with hardly a noise.

Hanover Strings Quartet was such a great addition to my wedding. They were one of the easiest vendors that I worked with during my wedding process. They were so flexible and SO responsive. Deb from the Hanover String Quartet was so wonderful to work with. She had great ideas of music choices for our Christmas wedding, and even though we couldn't have the full quartet bc of their scheduling conflicts, she was still able to get us a wonderful trio. Deb was so amazing to work with. She was always so helpful when emailing me back in regards to questions I had and she was always incredibly prompt. I found her and the rest of the women very accommodating - they specifically arranged a song for our ceremony that was not in the repertoire and it turned out beautifully! Our ceremony was just so wonderful and all of my guests were raving about how lovely the music was before, during and after the ceremony. My mom contacted Deb to see if she and her colleagues would be willing to learn a new song to surprise us with a performance at the wedding. Deb was an absolute pleasure to work with leading up to the event and the day of! She and her fellow musicians were professional and extremely pleasant. For this event, the quartet started in one location for the ceremony and moved to another for cocktails. The transition was seamless and the music was beautiful. I am an event planner and would recommend Deb and Hanover Strings to any bride looking for a string ensemble for their wedding day. Especially if you don't have an event planner. Having an event planner will make your day much easier and you won't have to worry about any details, but if you don't have one, with Hanover Strings you can rest assured that your string ensemble is one thing you won't have to worry about!

The Hanover String Quartet provided the music for my wedding ceremony at a large chapel in Southcentral Pennsylvania. Their selections were everything I could have hoped for. The group has an extensive repertoire amassed over decades of playing together, allowing event organizers to choose from a selection of classical, religious, or contemporary tunes according to their needs. Plus, their decades of playing together has resulted in a wonderful, pleasing sound. The music of Hanover String Quartet meshed seamlessly with the ceremony.

Deb, who is the group's contact and booking person, works with you from start to finish to select the music appropriate for your event and nail down all the details. She made planning the ceremony a breeze and her professionalism and organization allowed me to be sure the event would go off without a hitch. We had a number of small changes prior to the ceremony and she and the group were flexible and able to integrate everything we needed into our musical program. The group was also able to accommodate our "do not play" list during the prelude portion of our ceremony.

We came to the Hanover String Quartet after striking out with a number of organists and other musicians in the area for the ceremony. We should have called HSQ first. I'm so glad we found them and they were available to us. Everyone that attended our ceremony was amazed that we were able to have such a talented quartet for such a reasonable price. These four are truly a hidden gem of the Adams-Hanover area.

Shortly after getting engaged, I knew I wanted some live music for our wedding ceremony. I did some thorough research on the internet and came across the Hanover String Quartet several times. They seemed like the best fit for the mood/experience we wanted to create on our special day and for our guests to enjoy. I reached out to them and they were very prompt at responding back and filling us in how everything works. The pricing was very reasonable. They sent us a CD to listen to which was nice. Debra, the main lady who I was in contact with was very courteous and professional throughout all of our communication. She helped keep us on our toes with the planning and music selection, as we tended to procrastinate on getting some of our wedding planning items done but she made sure we stayed on top of everything! She helped us with the song selections and provided good feedback on ones we selected, also feedback on the length/timing and ensured that everything was setup to run smoothly for the timing of songs and sequence of events during the ceremony. The music was perfect during the ceremony, although I'll have to admit I was bit engrossed in the moment of seeing my bride and marrying her! The music and everything fell into place so smoothly. I would definitely recommend them. I don't think I would have done anything different.

Hanover String Quartet will bring beautiful music to your ceremony. Deb and company did an amazing job. They will give you a CD of all their most popular music, along with a list of other songs they can play. Of course, if you have a song that's not on the list they will take care of you! Very flexible and even if you're not familiar with classical music, they will help you pick out songs that will help with the flow of your day. The music just added an ethereal feeling to the whole ceremony, I am so glad I chose to have live classical music instead of a DJ. Thank you Hanover String Quartet!

I cannot possibly put into words how wonderful the Hanover String Quartet was on my wedding day as well as during the entire planning process in the months leading to that day! It is obvious that this group takes such pride in their work and musicianship. My husband and I were approached by so many at the wedding, asking where we'd found the fabulous quartet. I had heard these women play at functions prior to my wedding, and quite frankly, they were the first vendor I booked for my wedding, because I knew there would be no others who could compare - both from a musical standpoint, but also from a professional perspective, and I knew they book up very quickly each year. I worked with Deb Zumbrum and Martha Lippy (both musicians in the quartet) from the start, and they were nothing short of wonderful to me and my husband. They were quick to respond to any requests, and they always did so with a smile and caring attitude. I sure hope there are many others who are lucky enough to experience the Hanover String Quartet at an upcoming event, as it will be an experience you won't forget!

The Hanover String Quartet provided music for my daughter's wedding, which set the tone for a romantic and beautiful ceremony. Several guests said they got teary eyed just listening to the wonderful music. Their music is professional quality, and they are organized, on time, and helpful. Do not hesitate to book them for your event!

Hanover Strings Quartet played beautifully - a wonderful enhancement to my daughter's wedding. And Deb made the planning easy and stress free, a pleasure to work with and even better to hear them playing. I would definatly request their services again should an occassion arise and I reccommend them to anyone looking for a string quartet - you will not be disappointed.

The Hanover String Quartet was very flexible and helped me out with my wedding. They are very professional, nice and sound great!! Perfect for a wedding, very elegant and they made the event just beautiful- all the way around!

The Hanover String Quartet did a wonderful job and we received many compliments on the ceremony music from our guests. One of things I really liked was that they offered a lot of modern, less traditional music as well as the traditional classics. They played Viva La Vida, a favorite song of mine by Coldplay for the recessional and it sounded awesome. They kept in contact with me from the time I booked them all the way up to the last week before the wedding and were super professional.

We truly enjoyed having Hanover String Quartet play at our wedding. Their music was a beautiful touch to our outdoor garden ceremony. We especially enjoyed meeting with Deb during the planning phase. She made our job so much easier because she was very quick to return our emails and offered great advice for song choices. Also, she was the sweetest woman we have ever met! The Hanover String Quartet was an absolute pleasure to work with and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for ceremony musicians.

Hanover String Quartet made my wedding perfect! They are excellent musicians and a pleasure to work with. Deb Zumbrum is a genuinely nice person and so helpful. She always responded in a timely manner to my emails and helped with any questions and concerns I had. Everyone at the wedding loved the music and it really set the tone for my special day! Highly highly recommend them!!!!

Beautiful music! Hanover Strings was very professional, prompt in their responses and extremely accommodating to your musical preferences. They did the ceremony and back round music for our daughters wedding and it made our event elegant and relaxing. The music never too loud nor did it fade away-it was perfect! They are sure to please with a wonderful play list of classical and modern. They will even learn a song if you request it in advance. Highly recommended for your event!
