Beyond Grateful For Hannah
From the moment I first spoke with Hannah I knew she was the right person to capture our wedding. We immediately connected and were on the same page about the aesthetic and vibe that I was considering for my wedding. Furthermore, aside from being incredibly organized, communicative, creative, and dependable - all key qualities you want from a wedding vendor - Hannah also has such a thoughtful, warm, and genuine energy, which sets her apart from other photographers. My husband and I are not the type to naturally feel comfortable in front of a camera, but Hannah expertly guided us and gave us fun cues to allow our personalities to shine through the lens.
On our wedding day, Hannah seamlessly blended in with our friends and family, making everyone feel comfortable and effortlessly capturing all the joyous and precious moments from the entire day. She went above and beyond, getting a range of backdrops for portraits, and capturing all the small details from early morning getting ready through to our sparkler exit. It felt like having a close friend documenting our special day.
Looking back at our engagement shoot and wedding photos, we don't just see beautiful images; we relive the laughter and the love from those special moments. Thanks to Hannah's incredible talent and genuine heart, we have many memories that will last a lifetime. Adding to this, Hannah’s expert editing of the images creates a beautiful, ethereal, artsy, and timeless ambience to the pictures. We are eternally grateful for the opportunity to work with her and absolutely will keep in touch for capturing future special moments in our life! -

Best Wedding Photographer!
I cannot express how much we enjoyed having Hannah as our wedding photographer. My husband is not a fan of photos and we were a bit worried with how he was going to do on the big day. We were also very set on attending our cocktail hour, so we planned to take majority of our wedding photos before the ceremony. We mentioned these things to Hannah and she came up with a plan to ensure 1) majority of photos were taken care of pre-ceremony and 2) Earl was comfortable and not smiled-out by the end! Everything worked out perfectly, even though we had to deal with some rain showers. Hannah’s second shooter, Cecilia, was also delightful to work with. Hannah shared a sneak peek from our wedding and WOW! The photos are absolutely stunning!! They are exactly what we envisioned, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the rest! Hannah – thank you for being such a beautiful, talented soul and for making our wedding day stress-free and an amazing memory. We are forever grateful! -

Want wedding photos that look like they are straight out of your Pinterest dreams? Then hire Hannah immediately! Her style is so unique and she really does a wonderful job of blending traditional wedding photography with her artistic eye. Hannah is extremely professional, reliable, and helped us every step of the way. Additionally, Hannah is a sweet and wonderful person to spend time with on your wedding day! Hannah made my husband and I feel so comfortable behind the camera. She came prepared with great ideas and knew exactly what poses to hit and where to take us at the venue for the best shots. Hannah had a sneak peek album ready for us ONE day after our wedding! I cannot recommend Hannah enough. -

We hired Hannah for our wedding in Oct. 2020, and scheduled an engagement photo session with her this past Dec. 2019. I actually meant to leave a review after our engagement session, but life/work happened and I totally forgot! Our photos turned out beautiful, and we used some of them on our save the dates - we got a ton of compliments on those! Hannah helped us feel totally at ease. My fiance and I are both self-described “awkward picture takers,” and we didn’t feel awkward with Hannah at all. She had great posing ideas that helped us look and feel totally natural, and not at all cliche or “posed.” Fast forward to today and I am still trying to finish planning in the midst of this pandemic. I reached out to Hannah for recommendations on videographers, and that is what reminded me to leave this review. Not only did Hannah get back to me with several options, but she also went ahead and checked on who was still available for our date, saving me a ton of legwork. Hannah’s already gone above and beyond, and we can’t wait to work with her more on our actual wedding date! ( :
**Post-Wedding Update**
Not one, but two Covid postponements later, Hannah helped us celebrate an amazing day! She was great about helping us map out a photography timeline ahead of the wedding, but was also super flexible when the weather and general day-of chaos made us stray a bit from the timeline. The sneak peek photos that we've seen so far have been BREATHTAKING, and we can't wait for the rest! Hannah rocks! -

If I could, Hannah would get 100 stars. She is not only the sweetest human alive, she is truly the most talented photographer out there! She documented my sister-in-law’s wedding, our engagement photos, and our wedding. We will 100% be using her for all of our future photography needs and recommending her to everyone!
Hannah is professional, organized, super efficient, and she truly makes the most special moments absolutely perfect! She has a way of getting the most genuine photos with her little tricks that make it just feel so natural.
I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to document the best day of our lives. We love you, Hannah! Attaching some sneak peeks we’ve gotten so far. -

My now husband and I have known Hannah since our years in college together. She took photos of us while we were dating, and when we got engaged, we both knew we'd hire Hannah for our engagement and wedding photography. It was the easiest decision we made!
Hannah is not only a talented photographer. She is genuine. You are more than just clients. You become her friends. She is creative and detail-oriented. She'll find the best locations at your venue or ensure your details lay correctly in a flat lay. She is a great communicator. She helped us not only feel comfortable with poses, but we had fun! She is a great listener. We told her we were more interested in candids of us and our family members, and she delivered! Finally, she is responsive in emails, sneak peeks and galleries.
We couldn't have had a better engagement and wedding photography experience! I highly recommend hiring Hannah!
P.S. I've also worked with Hannah in a professional setting, and I've seen first hand how she is just as genuine, creative, detail-oriented and responsive. She really tailors her services to each client! -

I am in love with Hannah- I will definitely be a lifer with her. She did my engagement, boudoir, and wedding photos. All of my sessions with her have been light hearted fun and you forget the camera is even there. My wedding photos are amazing and she just disappeared and caught all great moments! I found her on instagram. Her work is natural soft and romantic. She is not into posey photos more natural movements and captures the right moments in an artistic way. She is worth every penny and more. She was willing to work with my budget and made everything I needed happen! Thank you Hannah for the great experience and capturing one of the most amazing days of our lives! -

GORGEOUS, incredible photos; JOY to work with!
My husband and I can't say enough amazing things about Hannah. We stumbled upon her work when she shot the intimate wedding celebration of a friend, and knew she would be perfect for our similarly small and intimate backyard wedding. Hannah went above and beyond for us, which, especially during COVID, felt so special and so genuine. She did a complimentary "getting to know you" shoot (engagement photos, yay!) that really helped us know what to expect on our wedding day and helped us feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Day of, she knew exactly how to direct the two of us and we were so confident and carefree because we knew exactly how amazing our photos would turn out.
When we had to pivot our larger celebration to immediate family only, it was obviously bittersweet. But Hannah captured so much joy and so much love through her photos, it couldn't have felt more "full" if we filled it with hundreds of people. She was such a joy to work with; and so attuned -- taking care to respect people's boundaries with social distancing, wearing a mask, etc. -- and our family couldn't stop commenting all night how fun and joyful she was. We are blown away by our photos, and we will treasure them forever. -

DC Wedding Celebration
Have you ever wondered how to capture overwhelming joy on film? Hannah did it. I’ve already recommended her to other brides and friends looking for a talented photographer.
Hannah flawlessly captured our special day. She was very clear about pricing up front and so easy to work with to schedule a free engagement session and talk any time about my ideas for making everything special. We eloped in Iceland and trusted Hannah to photograph our celebration back in DC. She found every opportunity to find joy and even moments I never knew I needed to see.
She was also ready and willing when I told her my dear friend (a 33 year old man) would be serving as my flower girl for a walk through DC to the reception venue. The pictures were magical if you’re curious.
From hugs with loved ones to intimate connections and all the laughs in between I would trust Hannah with any special event. My friends are also all now huge fans of Hannah too and I hope to work with her again soon! Thank you Hannah! -

Hannah is fantastic! She was a last minute find for our engagement photos on the date of our original wedding (postponed due to COVID). She was so flexible moving the time around with me and open to rescheduling based on weather. Both my fiance and I had been feeling a bit down on the entire wedding process with all of the rescheduling and mishaps that 2020 brought, and Hannah completely rejuvenated our excitement for having a big event next year. She made us feel so comfortable and was a joy to spend time with. Not only that, but the photos came out unreal and she was able to capture our personalities while also creating the most gorgeous engagement gallery. Couldn't be happier! -

A Sweet and Talented Photographer
Having met Hannah years ago, I’ve been privileged to witness her growth as an artist and to follow so much of the beauty she’s captured over the years. When I became engaged, I quickly thought of Hannah and knew she was the artist I’d want to photograph our special day. Her photographs speak volumes, and she truly can capture the magic and essence of any special moment. Not only is Hannah an incredibly talented photographer, she’s extremely sweet too. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera (which is a pretty difficult feat, as we’re both very reserved). She was professional and organized throughout the entire process, and had our pictures back to us so quickly. I can’t say enough good things about Hannah. I would hire her again and again for our own wedding, and recommend you hire her too! -

Hannah is the best, highly recommend!!
I can't say enough good things about Hannah. If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding or to capture a special moment /event I would highly recommend her. She is an amazing photographer and the photos on her website immediately drew me in with her ability to capture not only the scenery and the people, but also the love. Hannah is very professional and is also such a beautiful soul, many of our wedding guests talked about how amazing she was! We didn't meet Hannah until the wedding day but just talking on the phone was enough to get to know her and feel confident in her abilities prior to the big day, and when it came she did not disappoint. Hannah provided us with direction and with her ability our photos came out absolutely STUNNING! We did not have a videographer and I do not regret it as Hannah was captured the ambiance and the love that we felt that day, and we will cherish these photos forever. -

Naomi Sent on 01/07/2018I've known Hannah for a little over a year and a half now and have always been impressed by her work - so when it came time to choose an engagement photographer, I knew that I had to book her! She was very accommodating with the date - my fiancé and I live out of town and were only near her for one weekend, and she was very flexible - and was very communicative regarding contract and payment. The actual photoshoot was fabulous - not only did we frolic through gorgeous fields, Hannah put on music and made us feel like we were in a movie. We were both relaxed the whole time and felt like we could really be ourselves in front of the camera. Of course, the best part of working with Hannah was the photos - so very raw and full of emotion. My fiancé and I both agreed that the way she captured us is truly ART, and we are so grateful!
