Hannah was the absolute DREAM wedding photographer! I would give her a 500 star rating if I could. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and captured the day and moments perfectly. She is amazingly talented and a joy to work with! I promise, you will not be disappointed if you choose her. -

Love her and her work!
I can't say enough about Hannah. We LOVE her! She is the absolute best and we want to have her take our photos for all of our life events. She did our engagement shoot, a Valentine's Day shoot with our cat, and now our wedding. We love her and her work. She never disappoints and even somehow surprises us still. She is kind, flexible, and understanding. I definitely recommend booking with her. -

As we were looking for wedding photographers for our special day, our planner recommended several photographers for us to choose. We met with multiple photographers and ultimately decided to continue with Hannah Charis - it was the best decision that we made and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for photography services! From the first meeting with her at her sweet professional home studio, we were impressed with her work and her interactions with us. She was very organized and thorough - even providing us with her own professional magazine to take home explaining all the details we needed to alleviate any nerves that we had during the entire process. We scheduled an engagement session with her as well and she guided us through location suggestions and best times to be able to capture our best shots. We were initially nervous and worried for our session since we hadn't had any experience in photo sessions, posing, or making sure that we didn't look awkward or blink too many times during snapshots. During the session, Hannah made it very seamless, fun, and stress-free. She was extremely patient and clearly guided us with how to pose, where to place our hands/feet, and what areas would be best. She even brought a pop-up tent for our outfit change space since she knew there would not be a restroom nearby to change - these are things that we wouldn't even have considered. Hannah was conscious within the time allocated and made sure all the shots we wanted were captured. We received our photos within the promised time, if not much earlier than we had expected. We were truly amazed at all the pictures and couldn't wait to see what she could do for our wedding day!
Fast forward to wedding day - her assistant was also very helpful as well, making sure to capture all the shots from all angles and areas. Hannah was able to capture the getting ready shots with the dress, veil, and accessories, and even our family first looks, given the limited time that we had. She was very patient and calm throughout the entire day and that definitely helped lots. She and her assistant were efficient and fast movers but did not make us feel rushed. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, entertainment, and reception were all captured beautifully. We appreciated how we were provided a sneak preview slideshow in the middle of our reception with some of the pictures that we took during the day! After seeing these, we were even more anxious and excited to see all of our pictures. We knew they would turn out great! We absolutely loved our photo dash to every table and Hannah did wonderful capturing all the speedy movements - we highly recommend couples to do this as a fun activity to be able to capture all the guests. Our wedding day was perfect and we owe it all to our planner and Hannah's photography team.
Hannah gave us the best 1-month anniversary present - all of our photos were ready earlier than we expected! It was the absolute BEST and till this day we have continuously been looking back at all of our photos and reliving every moment of that day! Thanks again, Hannah! If you are looking for a photographer, we highly recommend you to invest in her, you won't be disappointed! -

Hannah was recommended by my coordinator (Wolf Weddings). I told her I was going for a light and airy look because they make wedding photos look magical. She said the go-to girl is Hannah Charis Photography! To call Hannah’s portraits “magical” is a complete understatement. I still get emotional looking at all the small moments she captured. Daniel was also super helpful and they both worked so well to get all the details of our wedding! Hannah made our shoots starting from the engagement shoot so comfortable and she was so fun and easy to work with. We had so much fun and loved working with her!! SHE WILL MAKE YOU LOOK GOOD, YALL. She knows how to make us do the right poses so we don’t look awkward! not to mention our families were so impressed by how she remembered everyone’s names and was completely organized when we took photos at the wedding. BTW the book she gives you, is the most helpful thing you will need as you plan for what you want at your wedding!!! She explains everything step by step so you won’t get confused. I recommend her services 1000% because SHE LOVES WHAT SHE DOES!! Remember, your wedding portraits are EVERYTHING and looking at them makes me feel like my wedding was a real fairy tale. Thank you to Hannah and Daniel for being the kindest sweethearts on our special day. Please take my word for it!!! -

I don't even know where to start, Hannah is INCREDIBLE! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer. She's so kind, professional, and dedicated to her job. My husband and I are not typically good in front of the camera but the photos turned out amazing! Hannah is excellent at giving directions on posing which was so helpful. She truly went above and beyond, she showed up early, stayed late, and had a huge smile throughout the whole (very long and very cold) day. During dinner, Hannah already had some photos edited and ready to show us! It was so nice having some sneak peeks on the same day! We cannot recommend Hannah enough, she is an absolute pleasure to work with! -

Hannah is truly the best! Last year when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, she was so flexible with rescheduling and happy to take photos on our original wedding day for our backyard wedding with close family. In addition, she also took photos for our rescheduled wedding this year, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m not photogenic, but Hannah still made me feel beautiful in all the photos she took on our wedding day. I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos from our wedding! If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, hire Hannah, you won’t regret it! -

Hannah Charis was the first professional photographer that my fiancé and I have ever worked with, so we did not know what to expect. I was impressed with Hannah’s promptness in communication prior to the photo session via text or email. I spoke with her on the phone and it was like talking to an old friend! She was able to give me suggestions and tips regarding outfits for our engagement session so that we would have the perfect style of photos. Since I did not have any particular location in mind for our engagement session, Hannah was super helpful in giving us a vast list of locations for our photoshoot. I am so glad she was already familiar with gorgeous locations in San Antonio and surrounding areas for photoshoots, which made the process less stressful! On the day of our photoshoot when we met up with Hannah, she was incredible at directing my fiancé and I for the variety of poses in her repertoire. She made us instantly feel so comfortable in front of the camera, I couldn’t help but smile the whole time since she was so fun to work with! I absolutely loved her warm, inviting and fun personality! About 2 weeks after our photoshoot, we received our GORGEOUS high-quality photos!! I am in love with all of the photos! She ensured that all of our photos were accessible and easy to download. I would 1,000% recommend her to anyone in need of professional photos done, as you will not regret it and you will LOVE the final result! -

I cannot say enough good things about Hannah Charis Photography. Sadly, our wedding did not happen due to COVID-related issues, but the owner was amazing to work with! From our initial meeting to our most recent communication, she has been nothing but kind, understanding, and professional. The stress of planning a large wedding, especially one that was to happen during an ongoing pandemic, was eased with each conversation I had with Hannah. I explored and visited with several other photographers, but none were as patient and willing to meet my needs (I was wanting wedding photos that were more light and not quite so dark). We could not have chosen a better photographer for our engagement and wedding pictures, and we haven’t even had our wedding yet! I was nervous for our engagement photos because I had never had any professional pictures done like this, but Hannah was so kind and fun that it made the engagement session so easy. She literally tells you exactly where to stand, look, and put your hands and feet. It’s honestly hard to not feel like a model with Hannah cheering you. Not to mention that we got more pictures than we had expected and every single picture was amazing! I honestly cried when I saw them. Hannah is the absolute best and anyone would be crazy not to hire her. -

Hannah absolutely blew me away when she agreed to do the photography for my engagement photos and wedding! My husband and I seriously are so awkward in front of a camera and she made us look like professional models. EVERYONE was in love with our pictures! For our engagement photos, she provided help as far as what to wear, what looks good, and how to coordinate our outfits. I hate shopping and I have no idea what to wear for photos so this was a HUGE help! She also directed us on exactly how to stand, position ourselves and look completely natural so that ALL of our photos turned out amazing! Our pictures seriously looked so great and super natural!
My whole bridal party was obsessed with her photos and so many people at our wedding asked how I found our photographer because they were so impressed with her work! I HIGHLY recommend hiring Hannah, she is incredibly talented at what she does, she is SUPER fast and is so sweet and kind(she even sent us a gift for our wedding)!
She goes above and beyond and she truly cares about providing high quality photos that we will look at over and over. She was a Godsend!! -

I found Hannah on wedding wire and immediately fell in love with the look of her photos. She was quick to respond when I reached out and has continued to do that each and every time we’ve talked since! We did our engagement shoot with her and she made us so comfortable in front of the camera and produced the best pictures my fiancé and I have ever taken together. I can’t wait to see her work when we get married in a few short months. She’s the best decision I’ve made in my wedding planning and I’m so beyond grateful to have such a kind, attentive photographer there to capture the most important day to date in our lives. Wonderful, Enjoyable, Fun
Hannah Droll is an amazing photographer and an amazing person!!! She made our experience so easy and fun! Hannah is hands down the best photographer! She made sure our photos captured our relationship and our passions for color and Harley’s!! She was willing to shoot a few different sessions for us to allow us to freeze time and make wonderful memories! We did an engagement shoot that captured our edgy side and our elegant side. She shot my bridal photos equipped with a Harley and then shot our Main event , our wedding ! She was not afraid to take risks and when things got a little rainy she embraced the environment and turned what could have been a disaster, into something magical . I, probably like most, feel a bit awkward in front of the camera but she gave excellent direction and made us feel totally at ease. She has captured precious moments, most recently the birth of our baby girl. She has literally photographed the most pivotal moments in our lives: engagement, wedding, and Baby!! We love Hannah! -

Hannah is truly exceptional! She is new to the wedding business, but is a natural expert. I honestly was a little worried initially because of her inexperience, but shortly was convinced she is the best in the business!! I could write a book with compliments, but I think it's easier to list. Here are a few things that made Hannah the best in my eyes:
-Professional: she fulfilled all of her duties, and more.
-Timely: always replied to my messages within MINUTES.
-Passion: she loves her job so much, the positive energy flows over to her clients!
-Flexible: I was an out-of-town bride, and yet Hannah made me feel like it wasn't a problem. She included me in everything, and worked with my travel schedule.
-Tenacious: she loves what she does so much, she always delivered our products weeks in advance of what we had agreed upon.
-Organized: she recently took a course in wedding photography, so she is well-educated and put together the entire wedding timeline for us. Such a blessing!
-Talented: this speaks for itself. Take a look at any photo and you can't help but smile when you see the fun, and feel the joy she captures so well. She specializes in bright, light, airy, and naturally beautiful photography. If you want a photographer with all of the above plus one that will become a close family friend, pick Hannah! -

WE LOVE HANNAH!!!!! I came across her website when I was looking for wedding photographers. I had no idea where to start, so I went on Yelp and there she was! Hannah is so wonderful- she is sweet and thorough. Her package includes an engagement session, so my husband and I had a chance to practice being models (which neither of us is at all!!) She made us feel comfortable in the lens and told us exactly how to pose. On the wedding day, she arrived bright and early for my brunch wedding, and made sure with me that she was getting all the shots I wanted. The entire process from day 1 to wedding day, Hannah was so happy and enthusiastic, quick to return our pictures, easy to communicate with, and made the whole experience an amazing one overall. She is the best photographer!!! -

I am SO glad I chose Hannah and love my bridal portraits! What impressed me about her style was her ability to capture light, which gives her photographs a romantic feel. She was easy and fun to work with and had good suggestions for the shoot, location, etc. I was really grateful for the guidance she gave during the shoot. I felt relaxed and natural, and she made me feel like a super model! She even captured some candid shots of me with my parents, which was really sweet. You can tell she enjoys being a photographer, and it made the overall experience very memorable.
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming so make your life easier by choosing Hannah for your photographer! You will be happy with the experience and results. -

Angel Sent on 09/12/2018I've never considered myself a very photo-genetic individual (I hate selfies). But my wife LOVES taking family pictures, every which way she can. I on the other hand feel like a zoo animal that doesn't know what to do with their hands (think Ricky Bobby from Talladega Nights). But you do things for the woman you love, or at least try your best to. All that being said, when my wife told me we would be taking professional photos with Hannah-I was more than hesitant, but agreed.
I have to honestly say that Hannah was amazing from start to finish. We felt relaxed at the photo shoot, at least I did. We laughed, had fun and she gave us great direction (I literally had to be told where to put my hands). I've had other professional photographers for other various occasions, and NO ONE has taken care of us like Hannah did. My wife loved the photos and I found that I didn't look like a completely untrained monkey. The quality of photos comes from Hannah's incredible attention to detail and natural charisma. We were very lucky to find her. Now, I can look back at these photos confidently with my beautiful wife in 10, 15, or 40 years and share a beautiful memory of the afternoon after our wedding ceremony. Thank you Hannah! -
