A Wonderful Experience
Austin and Christel were amazing! They did a great job of walking us through the process and calming our nerves. The ceremony itself was so beautiful and personal to us. Christel had us write letters to each other, which she read parts of during the ceremony. Multiple family members commented on how wonderful it was. The pictures came out beautifully as well. Austin made sure to get great shots of every moment. I’m so happy we picked Austin and Christel for our special day! -

Austin and Christel were just fantastic. From the initial interview to the coordination of our wedding, they were super responsive and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure our experience was unique and that they captured our personal vibe and feelings for one another. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. We had a great time and felt like they were a part of the wedding and not just vendors. I'm so happy we chose them to perform and photograph our ceremony. Austin and Christel are so fun to work with! We did an engagement shoot with them and Austin put us at ease and really helped us loosen up. Christel has a great selection of ceremonies and helped us incorporate our stories to truly make the day special. During our wedding, they worked so well with us and our family to help organize everyone for the perfect day. I cannot recommend them highly enough! We just got the professional photos back, and are blown away by all 250 of them. If you're looking for a photographer and officiant in the Austin area, don't wait, especially if you're using Chapel Dulcinea as your venue. -

Above and Beyond Expectations
We had the best photographer! Incredibly friendly and helpful, and our photos came out beautiful. We couldn't be happier with them. Austin and his wife were professional and informative throughout the booking process, and really helped take my stress level down a few pegs. Theyre quick to respond, and definitely know what they're doing! Highly recommend them! -

Austin & Christel were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were so sweet and down to earth which really helped ease my nerves throughout the process. Austin always made himself available to answer any questions I had. You can’t even put a price on the amazing photos he captured. Between the two of them they made planning our wedding at Chapel Dulcinea feel like a breeze. Christel put together a beautiful ceremony & prayer that had everyone in tears. I loved the laughter she would bring throughout our ceremony making everything feel very relaxed. We would definitely recommend them to anyone. -

So easy to communicate with and they give wonderful ideas! Christel was our officiant and Austin was our photographer. They work really well together and walk you through the whole time. We were clueless as to what to do when and they listened to our ideas and made them work. They were great guides before, during and after the ceremony! I was beyond happy with every single part of working with Christel and Austin. They went above and beyond their job titles! There is nothing I would change! Prices are great for any budget. We were very pleased and happy! -

Christel (our Officiant) and Austin (our photographer) were very accommodating and worked closely with us to make our wedding a very memorable one. Our ring bearer was our Golden Retriever JJ (aka Janis Joplin) - 8 years old. Because of the Coronavirus we had to reschedule our wedding just 2 days before it was to happen. There was no issue in doing this. We had customized wedding vows and we are pleased with the pictures that were taken. Would not do anything different! -

We couldn't have had a better day. We decided to go ditch the guest style and keep it simple. This duo made us feel comfortable and were able to give us a bit of direction. Best photographer ever!!!!!
I would highly recommend Austin as a photographer for weddings. He and his second photographer, Renata, did an amazing job with our photos for our wedding. They were very professional and helpful at the same time. They went above and beyond the normal duties of a photographer by offering solutions to help keep my stress level down and even helped bustle my dress after the ceremony when my bridesmaids were having trouble. They captured rare moments because they didn’t bother people like some photographers would. We also loved the fact that they took photos in both color and black and white for us to have. -

We found Austin and Renata through what seems to be an agency that books independent contractors, so we actually found our photographers through Classic Photography. We knew we wanted a package that included a videographer, and we also wanted the raw footage along with the edited videos because we are musicians and want to use the footage in some of our future music videos! We asked around a few businesses, but Classic Photographers had the most reasonable rates AND the least complicated access to the raw footage. They also sent us a list of photographers in our area (they are a business that spans the country and seem to hire contractors through their site) and look at their work, so we were able to connect with our actual photography team beforehand and were very comfortable and happy with our decision (Renata and Austin are the BEST!) -

It was evident from the beginning Hand Heart and Crown Weddings was the perfect fit for our special day! They greeted our unconventional request for a service on 6th street with enthusiasm, and included so much of what we love about the area into our experience. We are celebrating our 3rd anniversary this year and have followed Cristel and Austin on their journey to bring hearts together. I have never met two people who are so passionate about their profession and the couples they serve. Their services do not stop at the end of the "alter". After losing our beloved photos of our wedding day, Hand Heart and Crown so generously provided us with freshly edited proofs, bringing me to tears all over again!! We will forever be grateful to them and their mission to spread loyalty, friendship and love! -

We were extremely happy with the service we received. We went with one of their packages that they offer because we had a very small budget. We scheduled a wedding on super short notice and they were extremely flexible and accommodating even though we had to change some things around multiple times. The ceremony was beautiful and we loved that we could choose what Christel would say to us. Austin was Amazing! We were super happy with our photos and not once did he make us feel rushed and we totally felt like we got more than we expected or paid for. Overall we are so happy we went with them and our day turned out beautifully and we have amazing photos to remember it by. -

Best team ever!
We are so lucky to have found Christel and Austin. They were so quick and efficient when answering any questions we had throughout the process, and trust me, I had a lot! Haha. When we met them in person the day of the wedding, we knew we had picked the right people. They made sure everything ran smoothly and it helped so much. Christel made everyone laugh and feel at ease during the ceremony. Austin was so kind and patient when corralling my crazy family for photos. From planning to rehearsal to the ceremony to viewing photos afterwards, we felt like we were working with family the entire way through it all. We felt like our wedding was the only wedding they were concerned about and focused on, when we're sure it was not. Our ceremony was beautifully intimate and sweet and Christel made sure that our vows were catered to us, almost as if we had written them ourselves but a million times better! I cried along with everyone else and I never cry, literally never cry. We really felt cared for and special working with this amazing couple and I would not have changed a thing! We truly believe that Austin and Christel genuinely love and care for every single one of their clients! -

My husband and I elected to elope, but still wanted to capture our special day. Though it was just the two of us + Christel & Austin nerves were still pretty high... We were both emotional but Christel & Austin made us feel at ease. All interaction was very professional yet personable. Everything was well prepared ahead of time - by the end of the ceremony and photos it felt as though we were hanging out with a couple of our friends. The communication and support leading up to the big day was also very helpful and built the rapport that no doubt played a big role in ensuring our special day was such a success. I highly recommend Christel & Austin to help with anyones special day. -

Keith Sent on 05/22/2018We are beyond satisfied with the service and the ability of this fantastic couple for providing an elopement wedding for my huzband and I. We wee very nervous about doing our vows in public view however Christel and Austin were (and are) like best friends helping couples in love. We felt as if we were the only ones at this amazing outside venue. The Texas state capital! Christel put so much heart into her readings of vows that we were both in tears. Think even Christel had a tear. Austin is amazing at photography and what a heart he has too. This couple named their business very appropriately! We can't imagine having any other officiating team to help you with your wedding day!

Lynne Sent on 11/05/2017We highly recommend Christel if you are looking for an officiant for your wedding. She not only kept everyone on track and organized but she made the process fun. Getting a bunch of adults together for a wedding and rehearsal is not an easy task but she made everyone focus and helped us get through all of it in a timely manner. Our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the passages that Christel read, they were different and unique, and how entertaining she was. She interjects humor which I think is very important to keep everyone's attention. If you are looking for an officiant, I promise you will not regret hiring Christel.
