Very professional!!!

I wanted my wedding to be a bit traditional and elegant! Having Liz play for my ceremony and cocktail hour was the best thing I decided to do. She was on time, she was always professional, she can play anything you want. Her prices are fair! Hire her you’ll be glad you did.

Did a great job for our wedding ceremony

Liz did a great job of playing for our wedding ceremony. She played the songs we asked, but filled in the rest because we didn’t know what we wanted. It was a wonderful touch to our wedding

Great job!

Elizabeth did a fantastic job providing music for our wedding. We had some random requests for songs and we asked her to fill the rest of the time as she best so fit; she was able to play everything we wanted and handle the rest on her own. It was exactly what we needed. Strongly recommend.

Classy Touch!

Elizabeth and her violin fit perfectly for our intimate garden ceremony! Highly enjoyed by my guests who had mentioned that the music provided was lovely, elegant, and peaceful among many other wonderful comments! I have always wanted the beautiful sound of the violin played for my wedding day and I am so happy I did! Aside from my guests, it was very calming to hear my song being played and walk down the aisle to. Elizabeth was very adept in art of her profession and working with me (the bride) at planning the music selection and pinpointing details. As my fiance and I did not work with any coordinator, I was very fortunate to work with Elizabeth and feel comfortable and trustworthy of her! A wonderful touch to our perfect day! I highly recommend her violin skills and services!

Perfect violin!

Elizabeth was absolutely perfect for our wedding and her violin playing was beautiful! She even learned a song at our request with only three days notice and still performed it flawlessly!

Wonderful for a Christmas Wedding

My wedding was late December and she did not disappoint with my request of traditional Christmas music while guests were being seated. She had no issue playing any song I wanted for my processional and recessional. Elizabeth is very nice and accommodating!

Highly recommend Elizabeth

We had Elizabeth perform at our Jewish wedding in October 2018 (both the ceremony and part of our reception). She offered and followed through on the specific songs and music that we requested. She was very professional and very pleasant to work with. We appreciated that she called the day of the wedding to give us a heads-up that she might be a little late due to traffic, but she was on-time and ready to go. We highly recommend her for your wedding music.

I am going to have to hire her again! Being the bride and loving the Violin more than most, I didn’t get to hear as much as I wanted but what I did hear, she was WONDERFUL!

Elizabeth was the most responsive and helpful violinist I've ever worked with. My wedding music was amazing because of her. When I was at a loss for song choices, she gladly offered options (just what a bride needs) when I needed it the most. I highly recommend her. Elizabeth was a wonderful addition to our wedding ceremony! She was accompanied by John on cello. The duet provided wonderful welcome music for our guests and made our requested songs sound beautiful! After the ceremony she played along with our promenade to the reception hall. Many guest commented on her and John's playing. Highly recommended!

I have been taking lessons from Liz for over 9 months now and she is an amazing person. I can tell she has lots of passion for the violin and that she loves teaching. She listens to her students and let's them play what they want to play along with the lesson books. I don't think I could find a better instructor! And she plays beautifully. I definitely recommend her for lessons and playing at weddings!

She was very easy to work with: communicated well, flexible when times adjusted, and showed up early for the proposal ceremony. I can't say enough good things about her! I cannot say enough good things about Liz! Not only is she extremely talented but also very professional and punctual. She provided her cell phone number and responded very quickly to any questions. She carefully listened to our requests and understood exactly what I wanted. It poured rain on our wedding day and we had to suddenly shift the ceremony site. Liz was so flexible and understanding. We simply sent her a text message with the new location and she was there...no complaints or questions. We highly recommend her!

I found really good reviews on Elizabeth and reached out to her to see if she would be available to play music for me at our time of engagement. She was very quick to respond and seemed very nice over the phone. She agreed to meet me at the location the engagement was going to take place two weeks prior to event because she wanted to make sure where it was at and were she needed to be and when. She wanted it to be perfect! That it was. Elizabeth is such a sweet lady and has such a loving personality and it shows when she plays. I had what I thought was going to be a difficult song "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars and Elizabeth nailed it! So professional. In my opinion if you chose anyone else to play at your event you would be crazy. I highly recommend Elizabeth and my fiancé and I have already agreed she will be playing at our wedding!! Thank you Elizabeth for everything you did. The engagement couldn't have went better!!

I live in Maryland, and had to make these arrangements long distance. I contracted Liz Stacy to play solo for my son's rehearsal dinner at Steinhilber's in Virginia Beach. I didn't know any violinists in the area, so I used the reviews to pick Liz. She was very responsive, always quickly answered any inquiries or requests, and was extremely professional in her business dealings. She arrived early, offered a few suggestions on location to play, and then amazed all of the guests with her exceptional music. We could not have been more pleased and are so glad we picked Liz. Her music is incredible and will surely please everyone attending. She is flexible and will try to accommodate requests for special songs, assuming the sheet music is available for violins. I give Liz my absolute strongest possible recommendation! I hope you enjoy your event, Steve

From the moment I called Elizabeth Stacy I knew she was the right person for the wedding! She is very professional and has a large music selection that fits all genres. On the day of the wedding she was prompt and ready to go. She is a very talented violinist and made our garden wedding magical! My wedding was recently on 5/16/2015. I hired the hampton roads violin trio service for my outdoor ceremony and it added the touch of elegance my ceremony needed. The players were professional, talented, on time, and dress for the occasion. The pricing is very reasonable and fits many budgets.

We had a sunrise ceremony on Valentine's Day right next to the ocean. It was no more than 20 degrees outside! Liz showed up early and braved the frigid cold to make our tiny ceremony perfect! She played expertly and beautifully during our ceremony. I couldn't have asked for a more skilled or professional violinist! Thanks for making our day, Liz! Would DEFINITELY recommend!

I have not had the pleasure of having Liz Stacey play for a wedding, but she teaches my granddaughter violin and we LOVE her!! She has a refreshing ability not only to teach the violin, but to bond with her students. My granddaughter cannot wait for each lesson. Liz teaches music that is interesting and fun to learn, while she incorporates music concepts and theory necessary to build a solid foundation in music. She listens and responds to her students with compassion and caring. Her ability to teach and her love of sharing music is apparent from her years of playing the violin. I believe that her creativity in teaching would most definitely be a tremendous asset in any setting...lessons, weddings or any other venue. A treasured "find" for us!!

Liz played the violin for us at our wedding. Everyone raved how it was the perfect touch and how amazing she was. She worked with us and helped us pick the music that fit our Vintage Irish Countryside theme, and she was quick to learn new music that we requested. I cannot have been more satisfied.
