Commack Hamlet Golf & Country Club- the place to be.

The Hamlet Wedding Team was on point- start to finish. Their attention to detail was impeccable. The menu and wines were hand selected and executed to perfection. The venue was stunning - our ceremony was on the golf course and reception around the pool. Many thanks to Chris, Lisa, Joe, Fadi and Chef Matt for making our wedding perfect.

Wedding is still six months away but so far they have been wonderful in returning my calls and letting me come to see the venue multiple times

Amazing! 10.19.19

The entire staff is amazing. The food was beyond delicious and all of our guests were raving about it even a week after we got married. Madison is wonderful to work with, her communication is on point. The outdoor ceremony area is beautiful with the willow trees and water fall. The pricing is more than reasonable for a Long Island wedding. This is definitely a hidden gem and if you choose Hamlet as your venue you will not be disappointed.

Simply the Best!

We cannot say enough about The Hamlet Golf and Country Club staff and service at our daughter and son-in-law's wedding on 7/13/19. Stacy and Madison were lovely to work with from the very beginning. Every detail was attended to, from the food presentation, to the attentiveness of the wait staff and bartenders, to the After-Party DJ and food once again! Props to the chef for those perfect late-night munchies! The outdoor patio cocktail hour was picturesque! Many guests enjoyed taking pictures with the fountain and golf course in the background as the sun was setting. Thanks to Kevin, Melvin and Cynthia for keeping everything on schedule to make this day a dream come true for our bride, Jillian, her groom, Louie and all of us!

Perfect Place

This place was a dream to work with and made our wedding day so special!! This place was perfect - the food is amazing and the service is impeccable. Couldn’t have asked for a better venue for this big moment in our lives!

Amazing in every way!!!

If there were a way to give the Hamlet 5,000 stars I would! Our wedding was Saturday, December 1st and it was quite literally everything that we dreamed it would be. The service, attention to detail and the food was outstanding. In fact, So many of our guests are still saying it is some of the best food they have ever had at an event. From the day we signed our contract with Stacy down to the very last detail we were blown away by the professional and kindness of everyone we dealt with. Frank, our maitre d was on top of anything we needed that day. He made the night run seamlessly. Everything was perfect. The best decision we made was to have our wedding at the Hamlet!!!

The Hamlet and it’s staff were absolutely amazing from the day we started speaking with Stacy and Leanne. They made the wedding day absolutely amazing and stress free. There are no words to describe how happy we are with how everything turned out. 5 stars all around.

When we were looking for a venue for our wedding, we accidentally found The Hamlet Golf and Country Club and what a happy accident it was! From the moment we signed our contract, until the day after the wedding when they called to make sure we had everything we needed, the service and support we received was outstanding. The bridesmaids and I chose to get ready at the Hamlet. We arrived at 10 am to a beautiful spread of juices, coffee, tea, and all of the things we needed to eat the bagels we'd brought with us. Anything we could have possibly needed throughout the day was provided to us almost immediately- we all felt like royalty! My sister's dress kept slipping off her shoulder, and Nicole (our event coordinator) SEWED her dress so it would stay in place! Unreal.. As day turned to night, the staff always made sure the Bridal Suite was well stocked, my husband and I always had our signature drinks in hand (we did a his and a hers) and even the guests remarked at how well they were treated too. At one point, someone had spilled a drink on the table and the staff immediately replaced the table cloth, the drink, and any of the food affected by the spill. All in all, you could not get a better experience especially for the price- very competitive. On top of it all, the facilities are beautiful and everything looked spectacular that night. Have your wedding here!

Nicole and Courtney helped make a spectacular wedding. Everything was included in the price. The place is beautiful. We took pictures outside and inside. The food was amazing. Three cheers for the chef. He provided glatt kosher meals and vegan meals for my guests at no extra charge. The waitstaff was attentive. The maitre d took care of everything. Definitely book your next affair at the Hamlet. You wont be sorry

The Hamlet was a great place to have our wedding! Everything that we requested was taken care of and the staff were great to work with. The only issue my husband and I have was with the maître'd. We had no idea who he was and he was nowhere to be found the entire reception. Of course at the end when tips were being handed out then he was standing front and center. Other then that one little thing, the event planner and the sales woman were great! And the food was AMAZING!!!

Hillary and Nicole and the entire staff did a fantastic job accommodating DH and I, our bridal party, and our guests. The Hamlet Golf & Country Club is such a beautiful venue. The golf course provided a great place for photos. I especially LOVED the cherry trees that just so happened to be in bloom for my April wedding. The lobby is newly renovated and is gorgeous! The food was excellent. Thank you for helping to make our day so special!!

My husband and I had our reception at the Hamlet and the experience we had was totally different than the one mentioned below. From day one of meeting the staff we felt welcomed and important. Hillary and her staff have many functions going on, yet we were always made to feel important. Hillary's "assistant" Nicole is amazing, she was so quick in responding to emails, even when the questions were silly. Everything we asked was answered with a yes...can we bring in our own centerpieces, take our pictures inside the lobby area? etc. I had not one ounce of stress leading up to the wedding because I 100% trusted Hillary, Nicole, and their staff. The evening of the wedding was everything I could have hoped for. The food was incredible and Mark, Athena, Nick, and Nichole, were helpful, easy to find, and willing to make everything perfect. When there was a little mishap with the cake and I got a tad bit upset, Mark and Athena were nothing but understanding and willing to fix it! My husband and I truly had the best night of our lives and we owe a lot of that to the Hamlet! Thank you guys!!!!

I can not say enough about the Hamlet Willow Creek and their professionalism and expertise in weddings. I had gone to a wedding at HWC and thought the grounds were beautiful. When my husband and I were looking for a place to have our wedding we were very familiar with many halls on Long Island since he is part of the fire department and we go to dinners all the time. We decided HWC would be a great place for our wedding since it was a distance away from our house and not many of our friends had been there before. We were unaware that signing a contract with HWC for a wedding gave us not only the wedding of our dreams but our own personal wedding planner, Barbara, who treats you like you are her own child!!! I can not even tell you how many emails went back and forth, suggestions, help, guidance… everything… and wedding planning – that is not the only thing this woman does… she helped us with our cake – she personally got to know me and my tastes and showed me options for a wedding cake that she knew I would love (and I did!!!) Then she had personally made sure the cake was done to specifically how I had wanted it (I had two ribbons on the bottom of my cake that Barbara had glued together to make perfect before my wedding…. ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!) Barbara and her team made sure my wedding day was perfect!!!! There were a few quirks that happened throughout the day of my wedding which I had no idea about – Barbara made sure I was protected from everything!!! The food was fantastic!!!!! My wedding was 2 and a half years ago and people are STILL talking about how great it was – and it was great – the grounds and everything speak for themselves and how nice they are… but I owe my perfect wedding to the staff, especially Barbara who made my day simply perfect!

Couldn't have picked a more perfect place to have had my wedding on June 10, 2017!! My onlyyyyy compliant is that we asked to utilize a certain room to get ready in (so we'd have more space than the bridal suite) and Stacey (the second person working with us that day) said "yes" to it and then moved us all into the bridal suite the day of my wedding. And then she got kinda pissy with me when I told her that we were supposed to be in the other room. She said "No we were never supposed to be in that room", even though Leanne said we did agree on that. She snapped at Leanne too about it. Of course and we HAD to stay in the bridal suite making it very cramped in that room. That's my onlyyyy compliant about this place. Would've been nice is she had listened to our wishes even after agreeing to it. Other than that, ask to do business with Leanne Ross!! She is AMAZING and hope everyone that books this place ONLY working with her! She gets the job done right and is always on point. Thank you sooooo much Leanne for all that you did to make my day so special. Can't say enough thank you's to you. The rest of staff worked so well with us and was also on point! I won't ever forget what you did for us that day, Leanne!!

The Hamlet Willow Creek took care of our every need. The food was great and everyone raved about it after the event. The drinks were very inventive and were not watered down or stiff, they were just right. Barbara Sesskin, the catering manager, was down to earth and very helpful. She returned every email and had an answer for every question, and she was fun! They even let us come down early to take photographs because it was raining and we could no longer get our formal photos taken at the beach. The price per plate was very reasonable for what they offered, so we added some extras. The cake was even included and was decorated exactly like the photo we gave them to replicate. We loved it all and they took very good care of our needs, and we had many. We were very, very happy with the Hamlet Willow Creek in Mt. Sinai.

Although a beautiful place with delicious food, for all the money we spent we were let down by several things on our wedding night. We had a burger & fries station and they completely left off the fries. Their AC broke and instead replaced it with an unsightly fan covered by a cloth divider. The sprinklers went off during our cocktail hour and guests got wet. There were not enough seats for guests at the cocktail hour. The bartenders were rude and inexperienced and guests had to wait for drinks. When I spoke to the Hamlet about all these problems, they simply made excuses. I was definitely expecting a lot more and was gravely disappointed.
