We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. We had a fairytale themed wedding and the venue complemented our theme perfectly. Our photos turned out beautiful, and our guests had a magical time. We got so many comments from our guests that this was the best wedding venue they had ever seen. The food was wonderful and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Please consider this museum if you are looking for a unique wedding venue.

We were more than thrilled with our experience at Halim! Jessica was the best, most consistent, thoughtful coordinator and we felt like we were in good hands the entire time. The wedding went off without a hitch and we felt so cared for!

We had a fantastic wedding experience at the Halim Time and Glass Museum. We held our ceremony on the beautiful rooftop terrace, our cocktail hour in the Tiffany Room and reception in the Wisteria Room. Our guests enjoyed perusing the museum's galleries during the cocktail hour and reception. We appreciated that the museum offers more for guests to do than a typical wedding venue.

Events Manager Jessica made the planning process seamless. She was extremely responsive, professional, and easy to work with. We appreciated that the pricing was transparent and the venue rental includes furniture, linens, dishware, and even some unexpected extras like table numbers, tea light candles, and an easel for no additional cost. There is also free guest parking located across the street from the venue.

We had a positive menu tasting experience and appreciated the wide variety of menu options. We had several guests with dietary restrictions which the venue accommodated without issue. We selected a catering package that included a dessert table and cake, which was delicious.

We absolutely loved our wedding at the Halim Time & Glass Museum. It was such a gorgeous venue and exactly fit our vision of having a romantic, artsy, intimate, and unique venue. We loved how transparent their pricing was and how we could customize the experience to fit our wants. We had a 52 guest wedding downstairs in the Tiffany room and our guests were able to explore the exhibits throughout the night.
The coordinators and staff were excellent. They were quick to respond and always happy to help make our day perfect. Jessica was a superstar. The food was excellent and we loved our tasting experience.
Our guests were so amazed with the night and overall the pricing was a lot more affordable than one would expect for how nice everything was. We would not change a thing!

We had our wedding with Halim time and glass museum in Feb 2025. I want to start off by saying this venue is AMAZING! This will be an unforgettable experience for those are looking for wedding venues - just try to imagine getting married in a museum and surrounded by beautiful glasses and historical clocks.
A little bit background about our journey here. We didn’t hire any professional wedding planner as I view wedding planning as my own little project. Jessica and her team are so easy to work with and not to mention how responsive they are, especially Jessica. I remembered being indecisive about our final guest seating setup and changed my mind couple times. I went back and forth about the charts, and when sent those over to Jessica, she always says sure we can do that. The flexibility and professionalism that Jessica and her team offered were so important for a first time wedding planner. Thanks again to Jessica and the team for helping us to bring our vision to life! Highly recommend Halim time and glass museum!

We had our wedding on June 1, 2024 at Halim Time and Glass Museum and I can say with confidence that the wedding venue was unlike any other wedding! It wasn’t the run of the mill country club, the museum has clocks from all over the world and even an Egyptian exhibit with real sarcophagi! Halim was defiantly a unique awesome Venue. We had several wedding guests say that the dinner at Halim was the best wedding food they had ever had! Furthermore, Jessica (wedding coordinator) was extremely timely, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend having your wedding here! FIVE STARS!

I live in California, but have family in Chicago. We were planning a first birthday party for our little one in Chicago. Imagine not being there to see the venues or try the catering. However, after some research online, I stumbled upon this beautiful venue. The staff was so helpful and responsive. We would be exchanging emails all day just going over details. They offer so many different menus and are so catering to different diets as well. The day of the event came and the photos just don’t do the space justice. The room is just stunning with the lights and the stained glass. And the staff working the event is just so helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. And the room was set up and available for us to put decor the day before. This place is just stunning. I would recommend it repeatedly.

The Halim was the perfect setting for our rehearsal dinner of 90 plus guests. Jessica was an amazing to work with and took care of all our needs in a timely manner. The food was fresh and delicious. We fielded many positive compliments about the venue.

I attended a 75th Anniversary jazz brunch buffet at Halim. The event was held in the beautiful Wisteria room. The food is prepared onsite and it was fresh and delicious! Staff members were all friendly and accommodating. It was a fun and lively celebratory event from beginning to end!

Not enough can be said about how amazing our wedding experience was at Halim. First off, the entire building is stunning. The collections, rooms, and rooftop are all spectacularly beautiful, and every time we visited to plan/rehearse it somehow felt even more impressive.

Jessica and her team were really the ones who made the whole planning process as streamlined and comprehensive as possible, though. All of our questions and concerns were addressed quickly and they were always completely accommodating with all of our requests.

We also really loved and appreciated that Halim provided so much more than just the venue space. The caterers through Halim produced absolutely wonderful food that our friends and family still rave about and the bartenders were fantastic. Everything down to the tables and place settings was perfect. We opted for the Tiffany package, but all of the options are great.

Our wedding was everything we had hoped for, and Halim definitely worked hard to make sure that was possible for us. We absolutely recommend Halim for anyone looking for a unique and timeless wedding experience.

Communication was so easy and the response to any questions or update was fast. The day of the wedding everything was perfect and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They made sure that we have a great time and everything goes smoothly. Had a blast.

Living in downtown Evanston, we had always walked by the museum and wondered what it looked like inside. We saw photos of events held there, and thought it looked beautiful. It was on our list of wedding venues to tour—we arrived, and immediately fell in love. The staff was extremely professional and worked efficiently throughout the process. They answered every single question, and accommodated us when annotating the contract, helping us schedule and track payments, preparing the timeline for the day of, and helped us figure out a LOT of last minute changes. They offered a time for a walk through and assistance with setup the day before, which made the day of the wedding so much less stressful. They take care of EVERYTHING; set up, tear down, linens, place settings, table numbers, water, wine, changing courses, bridal suite, the bar, you name it! We just had to walk in and enjoy.

The food was restaurant-quality – no banquet halls here! Many people emphatically said that was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The menu tasting was a wonderful experience guided by the Chief of Staff, and included a personal visit from the chef near the end. There are many great food and wine options, it was hard to limit ourselves to just a few! The staff was very helpful in accommodating our guests with dietary restrictions and allergies; if one of the food choices would not work, they created a special alternative dish for them at no extra charge. They were so organized, they even remembered to not drizzle honey on one of our guest’s dessert. I checked with every single one of our guests who needed an accommodation, and every single one was fulfilled. We even had a guest who was arriving late; his food was kept warm and brought out immediately when he arrived.

As the bride and groom, we got to sit at the head table with our personal Head Waiter, Justin, who was awesome. He made sure our water and wine glasses were always full, and would personally deliver them to us throughout the night whether we were chatting at a table or in the middle of the dance floor. He said he was there if we needed anything, and he always jumped in to help with a smile.

Our guests repeatedly told us how beautiful, elegant, and classy the venue was. The Tiffany Room and first floor galleries were the perfect setup for cocktail hour, and everyone loved the gorgeous glasswork (and open bar). The Wisteria room, bathed in candlelight, with a view of the Chicago Skyline, was perfect for dinner and dancing. The staff was professional and helpful, and the entire event ran smoothly.

We specifically wanted a venue that would “do it all” so we didn’t have to, and Halim Time and Glass Museum absolutely delivered. We treasure the experience we had on our special day and thank Jessica and all of the staff for making it the perfect experience.

From the minute that we did our initial walkthrough of the Halim Time & Glass museum, my now husband and I were taken aback by the exquisite beauty and meticulous design of the entire venue. We knew that the museum was truly a one-of-a-kind gem of a wedding venue just for it's aesthetics, but we were blown away by how perfect the wedding day experience was, thanks to the Halim staff. The entirety of the staff- from the bar tenders to the valet staff to the chef- were incredibly kind, professional, and went above and beyond to make our day perfect.

A review of the Halim Time & Glass Events team would not be complete without mentioning the impeccable work of the events directors, Jessica and Aaron. In the planning process, they answered every question and ensured that our vision would be executed flawlessly. On the day, they were prepared, extremely helpful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was truly a magical experience for my husband and me. Even more importantly, we were so appreciative of the events team for expertly executing a welcoming and special guest experience.

Our guests were taken aback by how interesting and beautiful the museum was, and how welcoming the ballroom was for a wedding. Guests called the venue magical! I cannot say enough how positive our experience was in working with the museum for our wedding, and would HIGHLY recommend booking them for your wedding and any special event.

I cannot give Halim Time and Glass Museum and Jessica enough stars. From beginning to end, Jessica was there answering emails and phone calls, dealing with my endless questions and concerns and making sure I was comfortable with everything.
The actual wedding and reception was elegant and immaculate. Jessica and her team had everything drilled down to a T and made sure everything was perfect up the tiny miniscule details. All my guests were in awe of the amazing space and how attentive the staff was. My fiancé and I felt so special and taken care of on our wedding day it was unbelievable. We can't thank Jessica enough, for helping us achieve our perfect wedding day. Thank you!

This venue is outstanding! The location, food, drinks, staff - all were excellent and everyone worked so hard to make our day perfect. I can't recommend them enough!

Our wedding at Halim Time and Glass Museum was fabulous in every way...the end result was better than our highest expectations. The venue itself is unique and absolutely gorgeous; the food was amazing (We received LOTS of compliments from happy guests!), and the service was great. Plus the event staff is as helpful and kind as can be, and they gave 110% to make sure our entire wedding from ceremony to cocktails to reception ran smoothly and just as we desired. This venue is 5-star!!

Jessica and Aaron were incredibly helpful throughout our wedding planning and had great ideas for how to incorporate some of our ideas for the event. Great communication leading up to and throughout our reception, and we had so many guests compliment the beautiful venue, having cocktail hour downstairs so guests could admire the art was a nice bonus and allowed for guests to both mingle and wander through some of the first floor galleries.

My wife and I got married at Halim in September and had a wonderful experience, both during the planning phases as well as the wedding itself. They were very good about responding to inquiries and were very flexible with everything that came up. The venue itself is stunning and the food was fantastic. Plus, compared to other venues, they offered much more for around the same price, especially when you consider all the factors that they take care of. Highly recommend!

My daughter, sister and I threw a bridal shower for the fiancée of my nephew at the Halim Time & Glass Museum. The museum staff, especially Jessica and Aaron, went above and beyond my expectations in helping us plan and conduct the event. They were extremely responsive and creative in helping us with our planning, responding to my many inquiries, and helping with our unique requirements, such as live-streaming our event.

For the event itself, the mimosas were perfect, the food was delicious, & our service was prompt, efficient & cheerful. We were so pleased that all of the staff were extremely attentive to our needs.

After our meal, bridal shower games, and gift opening, we had the opportunity to tour the museum. It has a magnificent collection of Tiffany glass, jewelry, vases, etc. It also has an extensive collection of glass by other glass artists.

The Cafe has a wonderful collection of paintings by the Wisconsin regionalist Thomas Mueller Dietrich, who painted many scenes of Appleton, Wisconsin. He was the artist in residence at Lawrence University for many years. The clock collection is the “ne plus ultra” of clock collections! They are thoughtfully displayed, and illustrate the differences between European and American clock making. We all enjoyed our time wandering around & absorbing the well documented exhibits.

I look forward to returning to the museum & browsing the exhibits again, and I would not hesitate to recommend the Halim Time & Glass Museum for any event.

The Halim Time & Glass Museum is a fabulous place to hold a wedding! We just had our wedding there and could not be happier! Jennifer made everything so easy; she is such a warm, friendly, professional who really knows how to plan every detail of a wedding! Ted, the food and beverage manager was wonderful and on top of everything. My husband and I could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and went off flawlessly! Jennifer and Ted helped us make it all happen. The Halim Museum is also the perfect venue if you want to host the ceremony and reception in one place. We love this place and look forward to hosting an anniversary party here in the future!

We feel so fortunate to have found Halim. From initial planning conversations to the wedding itself, the entire staff at Halim proved incredibly helpful, insightful, open, and supportive. The experienced event managers (Jennifer + Amber), along with a world-class food and beverage team led by Ted, made wedding planning incredibly seamless. They were always open to suggestions while also bringing their own expertise allowed us to collectively create a perfect evening. The management team also was ready to help, with Mr. Halim who founded the museum popping in to show support throughout the planning. The family feel of the entire operation brought transparency and trust to an industry usually lacking in both.

While these people made my experience so fantastic, the venue itself also deserves high praise. The gorgeous Wisteria room with its tiffany domed glass required very little additional decoration, which saved us more headaches than we can imagine, and the fantastic rooftop (best rooftop in Evanston!!) allowed us to host part of our wedding outdoors without the stress typically involved in an outdoor chicago wedding.

That, combined with the all-inclusive packages that cover food, beverage, cake and beyond, decreased the overall burden of wedding planning, as I only had to source a few additional vendors (DJ, Florist, etc.). Event execution also went seamlessly thanks to the experienced team and a number of hands-on event finalization calls. No details were overlooked throughout the process, with all of the event team ready and eager to dedicate their time to a call or meeting to discuss any outstanding items. I'm so thankful for everyone's support that night and hope other couples continue to experience all Halim has to offer moving forward.
