Absolutely Amazing !

Brian was an absolute dream to work with! He was not only professional but very personable as well. He took everything out of our hands and made sure we were in no stress throughout the day. We were trying to figure out how to get the best pictures with staying in our budget and Brian was a perfect fit. The perfect wedding photographer/videographer!!!

Brian was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for. He is so fun and so easy to work with! Brian is very professional and amazing at his job, which makes the whole experience that much better. It was so nice knowing every photo of our wedding captured would be perfect. He has the best suggestions, and listens to what you want as well. We also booked his photo booth which was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved the props and it brought so much fun energy to the wedding. His videography skills are also too notch. If you need the perfect wedding photographer and all around awesome guy, look no further! Thank you so much for EVERYTHING Brian!!!!

Simply the best

Best wedding photographer in the Biz!

Brian and Wendy did a fantastic job photographing our wedding. Brian communicated so well with us before the event and met with us to plan out all of the details and write up an itinerary and shot list so that when the day came we didn’t need to worry about anything. He and his assistant took beautiful, elegant photos and got plenty of great posed and candid, fun shots- which is what was most important to us! They both arrived early in the day to take photos of us getting ready in the hotel, take posed girls shots, first look photos, wedding party photos, and ceremony and beyond. They were working for almost 12 hours! We really appreciated having all of the photos online where we could print them out or share them with friends and family. He is also compiling a physical photo album for us as we select our favorites. From start to finish we were thrilled with Hale Channel Photography. We’ve been familiar with Hale for many years, having seen their work at several friends’ weddings, and we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else for our special day!

Fantastic photos!

My husband and I used Brian as our photographer for our wedding back in October and he was fantastic! Brian was very easygoing and laid back - so easy to work with, especially for two people who aren't the most comfortable in front of a camera! Our photos are gorgeous and I love looking back on them. They are exactly what I hoped for, and Brian and his assistant Wendy got every shot and then some. I would absolutely work with them again. I highly recommend HaleChannel for your event!

Perfectly captured our special day

While my then-fiancee and I were going through and watching different vendor wedding videos we were blown away by the quality of HaleChannel compared to the many other videos we watched. The price point was modest for the quality that you receive.

We were very impressed the first time we met with Brian Hale. He made living in OK and planning a wedding in MA absolutely seamless. Brian was a joy to work with during the planning process and Shannon and Mike were very well versed in their work and slipped into the background to go unnoticed. They were able to perfectly capture our special day. They also worked extremely well with our other vendors to coordinate the perfect shot.

Additionally, we were blown away by the videos that HaleChannel created for us. We received them in a very timely manner and were extremely impressed with everything from the quality, to the music they chose, to the seamless transitions. We would absolutely recommend HaleChannel for your videography needs.

A 5 star experience!

When it came time to choose a videographer for our wedding, my husband and I did not know where to begin. We also came to the realization we had waited a bit too last minute to start looking for a videographer. We went through lists of recommendations from The Knot and Zola trying to find a good fit – and started getting worried when most vendors were already booked! We were so fortunate that we were referred to Brian, and he happened to luckily still have our day free! Brian turned out the be the best videographer we could have asked for.
From the start, Brian was willing to work with us to design a package that fit our needs and budget. This was a big help. He was also available for a pre-planning meeting where we went through the entire day and timeline, as well as some of the footage we wanted to make sure was captured. Brian had a lot of great ideas he brought to the table, and our favorite was that he interviewed our close loved ones so that he could include clips of their interviews throughout our highlight reel. This added a really personal touch.

Brian is a very charismatic individual and kept everyone laughing as he shot fabulous footage. Everyone instantly felt comfortable working with him, and we were able to get some great candid shots because of that comfort level. It was so fun to work with him on our big day, and the product he created was perfect. We got a highlight reel, and cinematic clips of our ceremony and 1st dance. We loved all 3, and these are now memories we will cherish forever.

We recommend Brian without any reservations. You will love working with him if you choose him as your videographer!

Talented Wedding Videographer

Brian was the videographer for our winter wedding. We knew we had a number of family members who would not be able to attend our wedding, and so having a video of the day was important to both us and our family who live far away. Brian worked well with our wedding photographer and had lots of ideas for what to capture on our day. He is extremely friendly and professional, and his work is breathtaking. We went with the raw footage package, and all the footage was delivered within a week of our wedding. My husband and I have been having a lot of fun reviewing all of it together. We had no idea he got a bunch of drone footage of the venue that came out awesome! Brian's edited videos are also beautiful. We had to make a significant last minute change to the wedding timeline because of weather concerns, and Brian was very accommodating and supportive. Planning a wedding is stressful and it's nice to work with people who you feel like you can trust and who want you to have the best possible day. Highly recommend!

Professional, creative, and passionate photographer!

Brian is a true professional. He had photographed my friends weddings and I knew that I wanted him to photograph our wedding. After our first meeting with Brian, my fiance was also immediately in agreement. You can sense Brian's passion about photography instantly. Leading up to the wedding Brian was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. He provided us with a full photo shot list of all the formal photos we would be taking at the wedding. The day of the wedding Brian was there early taking photos of the venue, and he was able to capture every shot that I could have wanted. We are so happy with our wedding photos. Brian really told a story with our photos, and the formals and the first look photos are exquisite. Another huge plus, every photo was professionally edited and was quality. Brian doesn't whitewash his photos and all of them are clear and crisp. Additionally, Brian was able to photograph every single person who attended the wedding reception, which is something we are so grateful for because now we have at-least one photo of every guest who attended our wedding. I highly highly highly recommend Hale Channel photography. It is also a great value; I have spoken with others who spent double what we spent and they are not happy with their photos. We are so happy that all of our memories of our special day were captured by Hale Channel photography. If you want a creative photographer who is passionate about his work and is reliable and professional then you should book Hale Channel photography now!

Brian was amazing!

Brian helped us out super last minute after we fired our photographer a week before our wedding! Brian jumped right in, traveled the distance, and took amazing photos. Brian was flexible, willing to listen and shoot any ideas that were given to him. Brian worked well with our videographer, and provided us with some sample photos and a USB drive in a very nice little box, great presentation! It did not take long at all to get this box and subsequently the digital access to all of our pictures! We would recommend Brian again and again!

Fantastic photographer!

We were so lucky to have Brian as our wedding photographer! He is exceptionally talented and the final product was a great array of different photos that truly captured the day and the spirit of our wedding. Our photos were well edited, and he even sends black/white and sepia versions of all of them. Most importantly, Brian was so fun to work with. My husband and I were married in June of this year. When the topic of a videographer came up while planning my husband wasn't sure we needed one- we had already booked a photographer. We agreed to at least meet Brian Hale and see what we thought! Once we were in Brian's studio my husband's opinion changed instantly. Brian is clearly passionate about his work; you see it the moment you meet him. He truly loves what he does and it was clearly reflected in the end product of our video. The day of the wedding we worked with his assistants, Mike and Shannon, who were two of the most professional people I've met. I was worried that the house was a mess since I had so many women getting ready together and they assured me it was not a problem (This felt like a huge deal for me at the time!!) They captured every intimate moment of the ceremony and I cannot thank them enough for letting me relive that on a daily basis if I want! Our reception had many small details (signs, toasting glasses, favors) and they made sure to get every single one documented. Mike even took a ride hanging off the back of a golf cart to get the perfect shots of us! They somehow captured me singing during our first dance which Brian was able to put exactly to the song on the video. Both Mike and Shannon captured every moment and yet also somehow stayed in the background so you didn't even know they were there! It was amazing! Brian did the editing and when I received the short and long version everything was absolutely perfect. Mike and Shannon somehow got clips of every guest either dancing or giving an interview and I cannot explain how nice it is to see everyone at your wedding having a good time on video. The song choices were amazing, the timing of everything was just right, and thanks to Brian, Mike, and Shannon I have the most perfect video to look back on for years to come. I cannot thank HaleChannel Photography enough!

We had done both engagement, wedding and videography with Brian and couldn't be more pleased with the quality of his work from our very first get together with him until the very end. Seeing other photos from friends weddings we definately made the right choice. Brian gave us exactly what we were looking for and captured every single moment of our day. I couldn't be more happy that we chose Brian at HaleChannel Photography for my daughter's wedding! Choosing a photographer for a wedding is a very difficult choice, there are no do overs! I cannot say enough good about Brian and the quality of his photography! My husband was concerned because Brian typically only took one shot for each picture, and my husband wondered how Brian could possibly know that one shot was all he needed. We couldn't have asked for any more than Brian. He's extremely talented, professional, and easy to work with. His work speaks for himself, but it's the little things he does that you'll appreciate. He was very covert on the wedding day, so he wasn't intrusive on our special day. He's was frequently moving around taking photos from all angles, almost like we had a whole team of photographers working for us. He had many ideas for photo opportunities leveraging the beauty of the venue. The wedding day goes by so fast, and you'll want tangible memories of it. Brian was amazing!
When our photographer canceled two weeks before the wedding, we had no idea what to do! Our coordinator highly suggested we reach out to Brian and we are so glad we did. Even though we did not have a chance to meet with him in person before the wedding, he was available to plan over the phone. He was extremely professional and having him at our wedding felt completely natural. He listened to our ideas for shots and created great shots of his own. I could not recommend him highly enough.

Our wedding video came out so amazing my whole family and I cried when we watched it for the first time. I'm so glad we decided to add video and I'm sure I'll be even happier in the future when I get to relive my day over and over again. Brian Hale is an amazing photographer. He is very professional, organized, creative, and down to earth. The "formal" picture taking process went smoothly and didn't take nearly as long as we would have expected because of his organization and great eye, which made more time for my husband and I to enjoy or reception. Brian even recommended a location nearby to our venue for picture taking which my husband and I didn't even know existed. Brian is an absolute professional in his field. Right from our first meeting we knew that he would be great at what he does because of the passion that he shows for it. Before the Wedding Brian was in constant contact for any questions that we had, as well as asking us for important information that he needed to do his job. On the wedding day, Brian showed up bright and early and got many shots that before the ceremony we were not even expecting. Brian worked well with the other vendors to make sure everything was smooth and coordinated, always acting Professionally and Politely. Brian was also accessible to us (and our guests) if there was a special photo that we wanted. Brian's photography skills are second to none, he took amazing pictures that really capture the atmosphere of our wedding. After our wedding Brian followed up with some great sneak peek shots for us to look at while we were still on our honeymoon! Our full photo portfolio was not far behind that. We couldn't believe the amazing pictures he took. The ordering process from Brian's site is easy and streamline and more than fairly priced, we purchased plenty of christmas gifts and albums for our families. My husband and I were on the lookout for a creative photographer for our wedding. My husband is an amateur photographer mostly from an "artsy" view. We knew we did not want just posed pictures that everyone else seems to get. Brian Hale came recommended from another photography we had sought out but was already booked for our date. The moment we met Brian at his studio we knew by the look of his pictures on display and his up-to date viewing section that he was the "artsy" flair we were looking for!
We opted for an engagement session even though we had been engaged for a couple of years just to get comfortable with the actually act of being photographed and it was such a fun evening! Brian was more than happy to let us include our puppy and the pictures came out great.
The day of the wedding was even better, Brian's positive and fun attitude really made the day even more special and you can see it shine through the final pictures.
Brian does a great package where you get a few printed pictures of his choosing along with a thumb drive of all your pictures from the day. You can really see the creativity and time Brian puts into editing every picture.
An added bonus to Brian's technique is he tends to stay in the background and is not right in your face the entire day but the pictures seem like he was right there! That was no a quality we were looking for but having it was so nice and pictures of the reception look so natural!
I would recommend Brian for your engagement, wedding and any other event you want captured creatively and naturally. thanks Brian!

Brian is truly an amazing photographer. We were referred to him by a very good friend who used him for her wedding. It was a pleasure to work with Brian from start to finish. My husband and I recently got married at the Riverview in Simsbury, CT. Our experience with Brian was incredible. Brian is an all around great person and it is evident that he truly enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work. He was so attentive to our needs both prior to the wedding and after. All of our pictures came out GORGEOUS and they are more than we ever expected they could be. The feedback from our family & friends says the same. He really captured every special moment and you can feel the joy coming right out of the pictures. We also used the photo booth and have to say, Brian's booth and props are certainly the best we have seen. Our guests had an absolute blast taking pictures and recording videos! It poured on our wedding day, and instead of being discouraged, his positive attitude and creativity kicked in, and we ended up with pictures we wouldn't have gotten if it hadn't been raining. Brian is simply the best! He was only slightly less excited than we were at our own wedding! It rained, and instead of complaining or worrying about his equipment, he was happily thinking of all the possibilities that the rain would actually create. Needless to say, the shots were amazing. So my wife and I hired Brian to photograph our wedding. Best wedding decision ever! From the moment we met with him we felt as comfortable as sitting with a long time friend. Whatever questions we didn't ask, he was right there explaining things about the whole process that we hadn't even thought of. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch and between him and his assistant, we had every single great shot that could've wanted and hundreds more that he came up with. He's very inventive with his shot selections and one of the things that I loved best was his shooting style, which I can only describe as photo-journalistic. He was never in our face snapping pics and didn't once drag us away from the reception fun to get more pics. With all that said, we had a TON of awesome pictures and I almost never even saw him. That to me is the mark of a really great photographer. He's fun and professional at the same time and our wedding wouldn't have been the same or as memorable without him. Hire this man soon for your wedding and you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Brian, you were the best!!!

This man is THE BEST. You will NOT be disappointed by hiring him. He has a natural flair for his work and makes it so easy for the Bride and her family to relax, we would have adopted him! We also hired him to do a "Trash the Dress" session for my daughter two months later, and during the photo shoot, even the horses were trying to kiss him! HE IS THE BEST!!! If I could give Brian 20 stars I would. When we first started looking for a photographer, we knew it would be a tough balance between sticking to our limited budget and still getting a high quality, talented photographer. You'll look at these photos for the rest of your life, after all. We were thrilled when we found Brian - his work was exceptional and his prices were reasonable. We felt even more confident when we met him and discovered how friendly and easygoing he is. He took all of our suggestions into consideration and was very organized the day of the wedding. He kept us and our rowdy wedding party relaxed and having fun in the midst of a hot, long day, and somehow he managed to keep his easygoing demeanor for the entirety of the day: from 10:30 am, when he first arrived, to 11:00 pm, when he finally left. We had a number of guests comment on how unobtrusive he was, and what a generally nice and fun guy he was. We had sneak peek photos available to look at the very next day and were thrilled with the final product; can't wait to see the rest! I truly can't say enough positive things about Brian and hope to work with him again in the future.

I didn't know what to expect when we decided to meet with photographers for our wedding. Right away, from the first meeting, I felt very comfortable with Brian. He had great ideas, was fun, was very organized, and flexible. Also, talk about value! He's unlimited hours for one price! He was with us from 11 AM to 11 PM on the day of our wedding. My husband and I highly recommend Hale Channel Photography. Brian shot both our engagement and wedding photos which all came out beautifully. We had a two-day wedding (Saturday and Sunday) and Brian rescheduled another appointment to be able to shoot both of our days. He also agreed to travel after our second ceremony to shot a couple extra photos ! He is very flexible, professional, and quick to respond to emails. He took time to meet with me in person before our wedding to discuss which shots I wanted which made the wedding day go so much smoother. Brian is also extremely efficient and got around 75 "sneak preview" photos from the wedding up on his website by the Monday after ! We were also very impressed by the beautifully presented package we received and couldn't be happier with our choice.

We used Brian as our photographer for both our engagement pictures and for our wedding. I cannot express just how much we love all our photos! Brian was very responsive to emails and texts throughout the planning process. Brian captured all the shots I had wanted on our wedding day and they turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined! He managed to take pictures in a way which did not disrupt the flow of our wedding. Looking back at pictures, we often asked "how did he get that shot, we didn't see him there!". We are just so ecstatic about our wedding photos. We could not believe how amazing they turned out. There was not one photo we did not like. He was a wonderful photographer to work with. All of our guests told us that they had never met such a nice photographer and have raved about Brian and his work every since our wedding day. Brian Hale is easily one of the region's best photographers around. He was amazing to work with and he takes the most beautiful photographs. My wife and I couldn't have been happier with his results. Brian at HaleChannel was amazing! We began working with him one year prior to our wedding date and he was always responsive and professional. Brian arrived on time and stayed with us throughout the evening. He was never intrusive and made suggestions for great photo opportunities without feeling pushy. I started planning our 9/7/13 wedding a year and a half ago and Brian was one of the first vendors I booked. He was very professional throughout the process and always got back to me right away if I had questions. Our wedding photos were absolutely beautiful; he was very open to our ideas and even made an incredible collage with all of our photo shot ideas for the wedding day as an inspiration board! The 3 most important parts to a wedding (besides being in love) are of course the music, food, and photographer. Brian Hale of HaleChannel Studio was 100% professional. He was kind and worked on our schedule and made the most of the memories from our day. Before our wedding day, we met with Brian Hale and went over all the logistics that we needed and then we were able to talk about all the fun parts that we wanted captured. He took our ideas and turned them into beautiful pictures that we can not wait to have hanging on our walls. My husband and I were very pleased to have our wedding photos waiting for us when we returned home from our honeymoon. When we reviewed the pictures we could not believe the moments that he captured without us even realizing that he was there. We hired Brian to be our wedding photographer and we are so glad that we did. Our wedding pictures are AMAZING. Brian has a real eye for color and composition and the result is stunningly beautiful pictures! Not only did he give us wonderful pictures, but he had great ideas for candid and formal shots, seemed to be everywhere at once and didn't miss a thing, and fit right in with the guests. He was enthusiastic and passionate about his job, and his love for photography showed through in his work. I'll begin my review by saying I don't think we could have chose a better photographer! Being an aspiring photographer myself I was very picky when it came to picking my photographer and I found Brian to be the prefect fit! Brian's prices and packages are reasonable and better then any other photographer of his talent around! I love how he does not give time limits on his wedding packages because really how can you time restrict capturing a persons most special, loving, memorable day! My now husband and I ended up changing our wedding date on very short notice ,Brian was very understanding and was willing to work with us and accommodate our new date. Brian felt more like a guest at our wedding than a vendor and I would recommend him to anyone!! I went to school with Brian and saw him at a friends wedding. When it came time for my wedding my fiancee asked me to give him a call. Brian and Julie were amazing. They were patient, creative,responsive and paid attention to detail. My wedding was at Hotel Northampton and Brian having never shot a wedding there did his homework and even took pictures after the reception had ended of Downtown NoHo. There aren't any photographers around that would work overtime for free. Brian is with you from the beginning of your big day until the end and most importantly is discreet and unnoticeable. He is fabulous and I strongly recommend him and trust me you will not be disappointed.

Brian was amazing. He was flexible and able to be there for as much time as we needed him on the day of the wedding. He was okay with last minute running around and changing the location of the pictures. At the wedding and reception, he was so unobtrusive we forgot he was even there until he came up to us as people were leaving and offered to take extra pictures of us with guests. Best of all, the photos were AMAZING!!! He gave them to us in 4 convenient formats: on-line, on a USB drive, via premium quality prints of the best ones, and in a fun collage. Everything about working with him was professional and high quality. I'd recommend him in a second!

Our wedding was 9/29/12. My husband and I wanted our wedding to be carefree and fun as we already have a house and child together so our lives as a family have truly started years ago. That being said, I really didn't want my whole day to revolve around what picture is to be taken next. There is something quite magical about in-the-moment photos. Brian not only met my expectations, but went above and beyond. We did want some traditional photos just didn't want to spend our night stopping and posing over and over. The photo quality is nothing but the best. If you have been to any wedding shows you are well aware that "well known" photographers can cost an arm and a leg-- and then some. Brian has an excellent price point and considering the quality of his work, and the fact that he has no time limit-- top that off with all of your photos given to you on a flash drive-- hiring him as your photographer would be the best option for any bride. Brian is a hard working, professional and reliable photographer. He is nothing but a pleasure to work with. He responds almost immediately towards questions/appointments etc. As a nurse who works in long term care, I see my residents- a vast majority who hang their 50+ year wedding photos with great pleasure and pride. It was important to me that we find a photographer who would capture the love my husband and I share to pass to our children and childrens children. After researching dozens of photographers, we decided to go with Brian of HaleChannel Photography, because his photography was beautiful, he was friendly, flexible to our specific needs, and an outstanding value for what he offers. It was such a relief to find a photographer without tight time constraints who could offer .jpg and .raw files and made my family and I feel completely at ease with him during our wedding, which is such a personal event. Brian is a people person who can balance family and friends trying to take pictures of their own with getting through the shot list, and during the ceremony and reception he was so non-intrusive that I only saw him a handful of times, but he was able to capture all of the right moments. Finally, the turnaround for processing our pictures was so quick! And throughout the experience, Brian has been extremely responsive by email and phone, which has been a huge help since I planned the wedding and am preparing my photo book picks out of state. Overall, my husband and I were very happy with our experience with HaleChannel Photography!

Brian Hale is absolutely the best photographer I have had the pleasure of working with. From the moment we viewed his website, we knew he was the one for us. His portfolio features the most stunning and unique photographs and Brian uses many different styles of photography. He is very reliable when it comes to meetings, phone calls, and showed up right when he said he would on our big day. He did not intrude on us at all, he knew right when to be there and direct us, and he knew when we needed a moment to just be us. He was always there when we wanted him to be though, it's like he has a way of knowing when a special moment is coming.....and the price for all of this was unbelievably reasonable!!! One of the things that we love the most is that Brian gives you all of your photographs on a flash drive for you to do with what you want. That was one of the biggest things that drew us to him, aside from his amazing work!

Brain was wonderful he came to the house before the wedding and u wouldn't even know he was there.very kind ,and professional, never in the way at all. He got the most fantastic pictures! The kind when u see them takes ur breath away . Very creative. We had 6 little girls in the wedding an he got all of them in beautiful shots Bride and Groom. Pics look like from a magazine. Loved him .and his Photos..

Brian was the photographer for my fall 2013 wedding and my husband and I were very pleased with our choice. Brian was easy to work with, extremely responsive with emails and calls during our planning process, and on the day of he was punctual and professional. The day after our wedding he already had a sneak peak of about 25 pictures uploaded to his website! Our full proofs were available in less than 3 weeks on his website! I don't know of anyone else in this industry that has a quicker turnaround time. The best part of having Brian as our wedding photographer is that all the photos are available for FREE downloads off his website. This was a huge selling point for us when we booked him. It made sharing our photos with family and friends so much easier. My only complaint is that we could have used more guidance when posing for photos. There were times when my husband and I weren't sure where to put our hands or how to hold the flowers and I would have appreciated Brian taking charge a bit more. It can be hard to tell people what to do, but this is one area where I think it is OK for a photographer to be bossy. I think Brian is definitely a rising star in Western Mass so brides you better lock him down for your wedding soon. His price is very reasonable, especially for everything you get for your money and for his wonderful customer service.

We had Brian for our wedding Photogher and he did an amazing job! He came early for the getting ready pictures and captured all the right moments. Along with the perfect pictures for ceremony and was even able to keep my out of control bunch in line and kept a smile on his face the whole time. He had the best ideas with the sun set and night time shots. Everyone liked his pictures some much my bridemaids is hiring him for her wedding!

Brian did a great job at our wedding. The photos were excellent and he had a lot of creative ideas for shots. There was a good mix of candid as well as formal photos. Plus, he was just a nice guy to work with.

Captured some good moments

Overall I had a good experience with this company. I bought the basic Raw package. They sent 2 videographers to my wedding along with a drone. They were able to capture some good shots, however a lot of the shots we're not great. There were no great shots of me coming down the aisle, no great ones of really anyone coming down the aisle, and although the ceremony was filmed it wasn't filmed in the best way really. I really wanted the ceremony to have good footage and I feel like they didn't capture the ceremony as well as I would have liked. Still okay footage, but I would have liked better footage of the ceremony for sure.
