Vanessa and her team were an absolute dream to work with. I was a little nervous because we did not have time to get a trial in; however, Vanessa was able to transform my vision even better than I was imagining! I prefer a natural makeup look so it was a worry of mine but the products Vanessa used were high quality and perfect for the PR weather. I l felt like the most natural enhanced version of myself. She worked with me in advance of my wedding date and was able to identify the perfect color match hair extension to enhance the hair style we chose. Her team was punctual day of wedding. All my bridesmaids and mother’s makeup and hair were done so beautifully as well. I absolutely would work with Vanessa and her team again. -

I guess I gave her the wrong date on the paperwork she uses to schedule! When we realized what happened I was so worried I’d be stuck doing my own makeup but Thankfully Vanessa is EXCELLENT and was still able to make it to me in time with basically no notice. So professional even though I really messed up! -

Vanessa arrived very timely to the venue to set up and did a great job keeping us on time. She even accommodated an extra flower girl for us at the last minute and was very nice about that and one of my bridesmaids arriving late. She did a great job with my hair- very comfortable, despite having extensions and being all the way up. The hair lasted most of the night too! She also helped with my makeup- I’m Chinese American, so traditional bridal makeup/contour placement tends to age my face but Vanessa was very open to my suggestions and extremely nice about it all. My skin looked amazing thanks to her. She also knew exactly what to say to a very anxious and stressed out bride, so I really can’t thank her enough. My maid of honor also loved her hair, and she has very difficult to work with hair! Altogether an amazing experience and if I could hire Vanessa every time I needed to get a picture taken, I 100% would. -

Vanessa did a fabulous job with my wedding hair and makeup as well as my family’s hair and makeup. She was super professional and able to match our skin tones perfectly. Our makeup lasted all day in the humidity and my hair looked flawless all day. Would recommend! -

I truly cannot say enough good things! From the very beginning, she was so professional, responsive, and easy to work with. On my wedding day, she made me feel absolutely beautiful and so confident it was exactly the look I was hoping for.
Not only is she incredibly talented, but she also brought such a calm and positive energy to the day, which made a huge difference. Everything lasted all day and night, even through the heat, dancing, and emotions!

Vanessa and her team were amazing. They were prompt, super professional, very pleasant to work with and truly a gem. As someone who wasn’t able to have a trial, I have no regrets on that. It actually made for a more magical reveal the day of. She executed my hair and makeup perfectly. I couldn’t have asked for a better glam squad. I had a great experience with Vanessa. From the start of my search when I got a quote from her to the very end when she put the finishing touches on me, I was pleased with the service. Vanessa was responsive by both email and text message, even last minute when I had a nail issue arise, which was unrelated to her. She tried to help me with a solution for a broken nail on the day before my wedding. Leading up to the event she was flexible with me, adding additional women to get hair and makeup done on the morning of my wedding. She assembled a team of women to help and provided me with a helpful schedule beforehand so that each woman knew what time her services would begin. she was also helpful in guiding me to select the hair and makeup styles that I liked beforehand so that I knew what I wanted before I sat down in the chair. On the day of the wedding, she and her team arrived promptly and had us ready on schedule. They were efficient and professional, and made us all look and feel beautiful. While getting me ready on the day of my wedding, Vanessa was kind and easy to talk to and her team made the environment of getting ready before the big day a fun one. I was happy with the service and the price! -

Vanessa and her team were absolutely fantastic! I found her through a Facebook group for Puerto Rico destination weddings, and she came highly recommended — and now I completely understand why.
As someone with naturally curly hair, it was really important to me to find an artist with true curly hair expertise since I wanted to wear my curls on my wedding day. Vanessa absolutely slayed my hair and makeup — and we didn’t even do a trial! We communicated thoroughly leading up to the wedding, and on the day of she took time to go in depth, listened carefully to what I wanted, and checked in every step of the way to make sure I was happy.
She also did my sister-in-law’s hair (which is even curlier than mine!) and handled it beautifully. Vanessa and her team serviced seven other members of my bridal party, and everyone was beyond happy with their results.
The airbrush foundation was definitely the way to go — it felt so lightweight yet lasted all day and night. The quality of my makeup held up through everything-including the rain, which we experienced. Her touch-up kit was also so thoughtful and included everything I needed to keep my look fresh throughout the celebration.
I truly couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup experience! -

Vanessa and her girls are amazing!! Having a destination wedding can be very stressful, I did not get to do a trial for that reason but Vanessa and her girls absolutely killed it!! Being a redhead, I wanted light coverage to still feel and look like myself with my freckles and when I saw myself for the first time, I cried! I felt absolutely beautiful! The girls are all so full of personality and made the start to my special day so much fun! Everyone was gorgeous! I truly can not recommend Vanessa enough! I asked to be a mermaid, and she served!!! Vanessa did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. Our trial was October 2024 and my wedding was this month, October 2025. We opted for a slick back, middle part, low bun and natural makeup. I loved the trial, but told her I got a little oily and had flyaways. On wedding day, she took note of this and made my makeup and hair last ALL DAY!! I felt beautiful. She did so amazing, and it photographed amazing. I received so many compliments. We finished at 2 pm on Saturday, and I was doing wedding events all day, and went out after, not returning home til 2 am Sunday morning, and my hair/makeup did not move at all. She also did my mom and best friend's makeup and did an excellent job on them as well! I could go on and on but it was perfect! -

I had an amazing experience working with Vanessa and her team! From the very beginning, she was incredibly flexible—patiently answering all my questions and even helping me choose the right extensions for my big day. On the day of the wedding, she managed to fit in two family members who weren’t originally scheduled, and still had everyone ready on time and looking absolutely stunning.

I swear Vanessa is an absolute ARTIST!! I couldn’t have been happier with how my hair and makeup turned out as well as my wedding party! Even without makeup trial, she took my inspiration pictures and truly made me feel like a princess. Even with the Puerto Rico heat, my makeup stayed on all night, I was a little worried with the airbrush makeup since I’ve never used it before, but I highly recommend it!! We also had excessive wind, and our ceremony was outside, and my hair stayed perfect all night!

Even after an hour of dancing in the rain, my makeup stayed intact and looked amazing!

The most amazing hair and makeup stylist!
I can’t express how happy I was with my hair and makeup this past weekend at my wedding. Vanessa did an AMAZING job. I was drenched in sweat but everyone said I didn’t even look like I was sweating because of how good the makeup was. Vanessa was always fast at responding to messages which was a HUGE help given that a lot of vendors in Puerto Rico seem to take their time to answer.
She made my sister, mother, and mother-in-law look absolutely flawless.
Vanessa also had a calm demeanor which helped me relax while getting dolled up.

Vanessa is the sweetest. I appreciated her responsiveness — she’s definitely not on “island time”! I adored how my hair and makeup turned out. She listened, made minor tweaks to my brows so I felt like myself, and made me feel like the most stunning bride. I was not able to do a trial, but that wasn’t an issue! I even changed what I wanted to do upon her arrival and she wasn’t phased. She was conversational, but not over the top which allowed me to truly relax throughout. If you’re looking for makeup and hair that can beat the heat - look no further! Vanessa was a DREAM to work with for my engagement shoot and destination wedding in Puerto Rico. She was responsive, understood my vision, and executed a look that lasted as my outdoor wedding had to be moved indoors due to literal flood warnings, insane humidity, and lots of happy tears. Excellent, time-efficient, professional, beautiful.
I inquired about booking Vanessa for me, my mom, and my groom's mom & step mom, and in my opinion I was considered last minute. Originally I planned on doing my own hair and makeup but my dad insisted that I hire someone. I felt bad messaging her on such short notice(2 months), but Vanessa was kind and responded in a timely manner. Vanessa already had a wedding that day, but offered to do our makeup early to accommodate my family and I! I was so happy.
Although we did not get to have a consultation because I was from out of state, Vanessa's work was flawless! She understood exactly what I was looking for in terms of hair and makeup. My hair looked exactly like the photo inspiration that I supplied and my makeup lasted ALL DAY LONG. Vanessa is fabulous! She did hair & make up for myself and my wedding party and everyone loved their look. She was able to perfectly recreate their inspiration photos and make the getting ready process so easy. She is so professional in her communication and we ran on schedule the entire morning.
As someone with extremely straight hair, I was worried a half up half down curl would not stay, however Vanessa worked miracles and my hair stayed the entire night in both my trail and big day.

I wanted a natural look for my wedding. And they accomplished that. Vanessa, wasn't available on my wedding day, so it was Samara from her company that did my hair and make-up. This was a destination wedding for me. And I only speak English. Samara did not speak that much English, so there was a language barrier. But I had someone who helped me translate what I wanted to say. Other than that, I was happy with the results of the hair and make-up. Samara was punctual and was easy to work with. She listened to what the customer wants, and I really appreciated that!
Vanessa was also very responsive and reassuring throughout the process. Our communication was smooth. And I strongly recommend Vanessa and Samara! Thank you! -

Vanessa was amazing from the moment I inquired to the moment she finished my hair and makeup. My husband and I eloped in San Juan and she was more than accommodating, driving very far and very early to come to our Airbnb! She always responded right away and even sent me links for hair extensions so I knew exactly what to buy. She did amazing Hollywood waves and did a great job with my makeup (touching up my lash extensions with false lashes and airbrushing my spray tan to make it all blend on my face and neck).
Makeup and hair stayed perfectly in place as we walked around San Juan with the photographer in the heat and wind near the water!
I even took a nap midday and woke up still completely flawless and ready to go to dinner in seconds 😭
I would def recommend Vanessa to anyone! -

Vanessa was truly a dream to work with and I will recommend her and her team forever!! Vanessa was my savior, as I had booked with another makeup artist (before finding Vanessa!) and found out ONE MONTH before my wedding that she had double booked herself. Vanessa reached out to me in such a kind and professional manner when I made a post on a PR Wedding Facebook page, and she quickly created a quote for me and my bridal party. She even made a timeline for the morning of my wedding before I booked with her- something that the other makeup artist hadn't even done yet! It felt too good to be true and I felt such relief to know that we all were in great hands.
Vanessa and her team were SO much fun on my wedding morning. We created tiktoks, took pictures, danced, sang, and laughed all morning. She and her team were prompt and professional, they asked for our inspo for hair and makeup, and kept me and my 10 bridesmaids on time and looking amazing. Vanessa truly outdid herself with my makeup and hair, it was everything I asked for and more. When she finished, I couldn't believe how she was able to create everything I had asked for, and there was nothing that I wanted changed or fixed (and that is rare LOL). I got married at Hacienda Siesta Alegre and was worried about the humidity, rain, and heat for my hair and makeup. My makeup was exactly the natural glam that I had imagined and it stayed on PERFECTLY. My eyelashes still looked flawless the next day haha My hair was exactly how I had imagined it too! I was worried about finding someone who would be able to handle my thick curls for my wedding day, and many of my bridesmaids have curly, thick hair as well. Vanessa was able to keep my curls looking formal yet natural, and they fell perfectly as the night went on when the dancing/sweating began! Vanessa's team did an amazing job on my bridesmaids' hair and makeup as well- everyone felt their best and that's what I was hoping for!
I feel forever grateful for Vanessa and her team and I hope to book her again for future events- she is a true gem. My friends and I still talk about how much fun we had with her and her team and how beautiful we all felt that day. Book her immediately- you won't regret it!! :) -

Amazing in every way!
Vanessa was amazing to work with in every way. Going into your wedding day, it’s always nerve wracking to entrust your look into someone else’s hands. From the moment they arrived until they left, though, both and her assistant were well-prepared, calm, and efficient. This removed any worry from my mind!! They made us look absolutely gorgeous, and there was nothing I would’ve changed about my day and my final look. I can’t recommend enough!! -
