Quality hair and make for decent pricing
I had contacted Nazeera to go ahead and do my hair and make up for my wedding slceremony at the courthouse and since my wedding was an elopement she gave a me a great deal when it came to pricing wise. Her work was excellent I would definitely recommend Nazeera to any brides to be! My hair and make up especially lasted all night long and she definitely made my make up exactly what I had asked for ! Nazeera is AMAZING! She made me look and feel PERFECT on my wedding day! She’s super organized and went way above and beyond on our wedding day, not only making me look good, but she also stepped up and took charge when she noticed I was feeling nervous anxious she had me breathing and relaxing me, she made sure that I had everything I needed, and that my family was happy on our big day. I knew I could relax and just focus on being a bride because she had it all under control!
Because of Nazeera, we were able to stay on top of our busy schedule, and she kept me calm and happy on my big day. The hair she did for me was beautiful and it was surprisingly comfortable And it stayed in place through the entire reception, even after dancing! She checked on me all until it was time for me to head out o church she is just too amazing 🥰

I was honored to be able to book Nazeera because I really loved her work. My wedding planner Maggie (Bravo Events from Ventura CA) even recommended her so it was truly fate. I got my professional hair & makeup trial from Nazeera for my engagement photos since I truly trusted her work even from her beginning text and phone call consultations with her. She was so sweet and honest and didn't even recommend doing a trial in South Orange County for engagement photos (Michael Anthony Photography Los Angeles) just in case, but I honestly don't regret it because I knew it would be amazing work. Her listening skills and her attention to detail and care truly is reflected in my photos as I felt beautiful and confident without feeling overdone. I loved how her makeup made me glow. My professional makeup and Hollywood Bridal hair lasted in the hot weather at Pasadena City Hall. For the day of my wedding, I also booked her for myself, my mother in law, my bridesmaids & my mother and they all looked stunning and loved her work. I felt like a million dollars on the day of my wedding and my makeup lasted throughout all my emotions without needing a single touch up throughout the night. Nazeera did an excellent job of glamming me for my special day. She was so easy to reach out and understood my requirement. It was hard for me to find a makeup artist and hairstylist for my marriage in the States as I was in Canada and not sure how to decide upon this. The absolute best!
All I have to say is that you have to book Nazeera! She’s everything you would want in a makeup and hairstylist! Creative, bold, intuitive and confident! What I liked about Nazeera was that she helped put my ideas into a vision and nailed what I wanted. That’s important, because sometimes clients don’t always know what they want, but a good makeup and hairstylist can confidently figure it out. Nazeera did both my hair and makeup for two events while I was on business in Anaheim! She did a Hollywood glam theme banquet and also a business speech. I was so happy with both experiences. She made me look and feel fabulous on both occasions!
Here’s the other major part. She was so responsive from the first time I contacted her. I never waited and she called/texted me back right away. I even decided last minute on one of the events and she came to my hotel same-day on a Sunday! I had also booked her for later in the week the week before, and I had no issues with her showing up on time or being accountable.

I inquired with Nazeera 3 weeks before our elopement and from that moment she was so responsive. She was early which is always good business. She was well prepared to do make up and hair in a hotel room. Had her own lighting too. She asked how I wanted hair and make up. Right away I knew that I had made the right choice with Nazeera. As a first time bride with not a lot of experience I wasn’t sure what questions to ask or where to begin. From our first phone call she was so helpful and thorough and I felt comfortable that I would be in good hands. With so much on your plate as a bride it's always nice to feel like you can trust someone to be on top of their part. When I arrived for my trial she asked a lot of questions and looked at the photos I had saved to make sure she had a clear idea of the look I was going for. Since I was on the fence about which look I preferred for my eye makeup she gave me two options, one on each eye, which both looked amazing and ultimately I ended up choosing the things I liked about each and making some tweaks to make it exactly what I envisioned. She also gave me some great recommendations for skin care products that I ordered and used up until the wedding and definitely saw a difference. On the day of the wedding she arrived with her assistant and quickly set up and got to work. Her assistant did amazing hair and all of my bridesmaids makeup looked perfect. Both were flexible and accommodating and nailed every look that was asked for. I loved my wedding look and it lasted the entire night! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone who listens to what you want and does it even better than you imagined!

Nazeera did our hair and makeup for my sister’s wedding.
Nazeera is a true professional makeup artist. She uses too notch products and is very hygienic when it comes to cleaning brushes. Her makeup left us all looking flawless and it didn’t budge in the California heat. I would recommend that all brides give Nazeera a try. You won’t be disappointed! She’s truly amazing at what she does. And she’s a great person overall. Conversation is always fun with her!

Finding the right person to do hair and makeup for my wedding was a top priority for me. I searched and looked at many portfolios but nothing stood out to me like Nazeera's beautiful transformations! I was blown away by her work and knew right away that I wanted her for my wedding day. It was easy staying in contact with her via text msg and she replies back quickly which I appreciated. I told her that my partner (at the time) now wife! were getting married and she made us feel very comfortable as she told us she has done many LGBT weddings. She pays attention to every detail to make sure we were happy with our look. She did makeup & hair for me, and just makeup for my wife, maid of honor and bridesmaid and we all looked sooo beautiful!! As the stepmother of the groom I wanted a glam but not over the top look. I contacted Nazeera only a few days before the event and she was able to get me taken care of! The transformation was stunning! My family & friends wanted me to bring her back to Indiana so she could make them all look as gorgeous as she made me look! she also did my hair which was so cute! Best Makeup Artist for African Americans
Nazeera is absolute perfection! She responds immediately to requests, and is amazing with following up. She is very knowledgeable about makeup application and extremely flexible. I'm African American and darker skinned with multiple scars. She calmed my anxiety by prepping me beforehand. She made me look absolutely BEAUTIFUL for my special day. She even allowed my mom to also be one of her clients. (This was a last minute decision for my mom and I). My mom is a completely different skin color than myself, nonetheless Nazeera had come prepared. My mom looked amazing! Prior to booking my appointment for bridal hair & makeup I browsed through the portfolios at local salons that offered bridal hair/makeup. Nothing compared to the jaw dropping transformations that I saw on Nazeera’s portfolio, I knew I would be in good hands for my big day. It was especially convenient to have Nazeera arrive to our venue rather than having to go to a salon. She takes into consideration your wedding venue, your dress/outfit & your natural look to make sure that everything “flows” together & is flattering. I had my 50th bday party coming and wanted someone to do my hair and makeup. I had a bad experience with a person who attempted to do a trial for me. Needless to say I left in tears hating it. I found Nazeera on here and she agreed to do my makeup and hair for me. She touched base with me, and was very prompt, organized and professional. Nazeera made me feel so special the moment we met. Nazeera did an amazing job on everyone for my wedding day. There were 6 of us total so she had an assistant to help with the hair as well and they both did an amazing job. We all loved how everything turned out and when one of my bridesmaids saw her finished look she started to cry because she felt so beautiful. Nazeera made everyone feel really comfortable and made sure to ask what kind of makeup look we'd like(none of us had done a trial beforehand) and also suggested hair styles to compliment our dresses which worked out perfectly. She definitely knows what she is doing and is very skilled in her profession. Everyone received so many compliments that day and I'm so happy that Nazeera was a part of it.

Miracle worker!
I booked Nazeera for my wedding on October 4th this year; hair and make up for myself (Bride) and my mother.
Coming from the U.K. and arriving in Santa Barbara just the day before meant we could not have a trial which I was nervous about, but there was definitely no need. Nazeera was fantastic - she done my hair and make up first and then my mother’s and both were amazing. She always asked our opionions to make sure she was giving what we wanted. All luxury/high end brands used as well.
She definitely worked a miracle on my hair as it is extremely fine and very thin, and she made it look very full (with the help of a few extensions which she also put in).
Would definitely book Nazeera again if I was in the area. Both myself and my mother were very, very pleased. Thank you so much for all of your help Nazeera. Xx

I am very happy i had nazeera glammed me up on my engagement and wedding day! I am novice about make up and hair dos, i showed her a picture of my dress and she came up with alot of ideas to chose from. That was very helpful! So professional and friendly. I had my hair & make up done around 11am, wedding reception were over around 10ish pm, i never retouched my make-up in between and my hair stayed as it is (fyi i had 3yards long veil with blusher that i bustle up and wore at reception the whole time!). Haor and make-up stayed all day, all night! The compliments of how my hair & make-up and my bridesmaid's were done were enormous. It was perfection! It looks really great on photos too! Nazeera was over of the best decisions I could've made for my wedding. Not only was she super knowledgeable and super on time but her techniques could not be replicated by just anyone. You can definitely see it in her before and after images on her Instagram. I've seen some make up artists where the make up looks caked on in person but looks great on camera, this wasn't the case- it was perfect in person and on camera, best of all, it'll last all day. If I was cheap, I could've gotten away with just one look but since my wedding day started from 9am and ended at midnight, I opted for a 2nd look where she met me at a different location at 4pm.
Best of all, she's so pleasant and positive. I'd definitely recommend her to others!
FYI- I would say I'm advanced as an everyday consumer for makeup so it did cross my mind to do my own makeup but after meeting Nazeera I don't regret it at all!

I highly recommend Nazeera if you want to feel incredibly beautiful on your special day. Nazeera started my Wedding day off right! She’s warm and made me feel comfortable with every step she took getting me ready. I’ve never felt so beautiful. My Hair was amazing; she made it better than the picture I showed her and made my soft thin hair look thick and full. My makeup was beautiful; she matched my colors perfectly and it stayed on all day. My fiancé’s breath was definitely taken away when I walked down the aisle.
As a separate note, she also did hair/makeup for my mother who has a completely different complexion and hair color than I do. My mother received many compliments, and we loved her look too. Great job Nazeera!

I am so happy that I decided to go with Nazeera and her assistant Tori to do my wedding hair and make up. There were 6 of us girls and each girl looked amazing and their features were enhanced. Nazeera did my hair and makeup as well as the hair and makeup for two of my bridesmaids and my mother. First I'll say that it was a joy to have her and her assistant with us all day while we got ready. She is incredibly funny and warm and kept everyone entertained with her stories of the trade. She listened to what everyone wanted and really knew how to make everyone look and feel their best for the wedding. I have never seen my friends or my mother look better than they did on my wedding day!! I felt like a queen on my wedding day thanks to Nazeera's magic!! We had an outdoor wedding in the LA heat and my makeup stayed flawless all day and felt incredibly light! It also provided full coverage, I have acne scars and my skin looks perfect in every photo (and I've only seen the unedited ones!). My hair was also wonderful!! I have short hair and somehow I had a beautiful, voluminous, elegant updo. Nazeera is a miracle worker! Hire her! You won't be disappointed!

Nazeera was so wonderful as a hair and makeup artist for our wedding in Santa Barbara! My wife and I are an interracial lesbian couple, meaning that we needed someone who was comfortable doing a gay wedding and could style very different types of hair. Nazeera was a god send! She worked well with my curly hair and my wife's straighter hair and was just amazing with makeup. From the beginning she was very friendly and patient with helping us try out several different hair and makeup styles. She also did the hair for each of our bridesmaids (4 on each side making 8 in total!) with the help of her friendly and talented assistants. She really took the stress off of me by helping us put together a timeline for when each person would get their hair and makeup done on the wedding day. Her team was on time, professional, and so sweet. I have to say that working with Nazeera was one of the least stressful and most rewarding parts of the wedding planning process for my wife and I. We are so grateful we found her!

I was so pleased with my hair and makeup, I'm beyond words. I had a morning wedding and Nazeera was able to meet my mom and I really early in the morning on that day. There are not enough words in the english language to praise Nazeera and her skills. She is more than just a make up and hair woman. She is visual artise, painting masterpieces in make up and whipping op alchemy with hair to reach sculpted highs not seen off the runways. She is calm, caring, on time and more importantly will get other bridal party members to back the heck down when things get to chaotic so the bride can find peace.
She made me look the way I felt, beautiful, happy, glowing and still look like myself really good day. My beautiful bridesmaids were taken from a 10 to 20+. They're hair and make up was so gorgeous that all the swarovski encrusted bling jewelry was no match.
Most importantly - She is professional, not on time - early!, easy to reach, willing to work through concepts, makes everyone feel beautiful, & enhances natural beauty to bring out each persons best features.
She was hands down the best money I spent (besides my dress) on the wedding.

I hired Nazeera for my wedding this past September. She is great! This woman truly has talent in both hair AND makeup. This is one reason why I hired her in the first place. I really didn't want to be tossed around from one beautician to the other on my wedding day as sometimes the vision from one gets lost to the other. Having Nazeera complete me from beginning to finish was important for me because only she knew the vision she had for my bridal hair and makeup.
She completed hair and makeup for myself, my mom, sister and sister in law and when I had a hard time finding another beautician for the rest of my bridesmaids/family, she brought help with her. That was seriously a blessing for me as I got married in Santa Margarita where I do not live, so getting someone local was hard for me to do since I was not too familiar with the area.
I did complete a hair trial with Nazeera before the wedding which for me was vital as I have a lot of hair, but I let her wing it on my makeup which I knew she would do absolutely flawless. And she did! both my hair and makeup were STUNNING! I will admit, I was kind of bummed when she said she did not do airbrushing but I am not at all disappointed with how my look came out as it was GORGEOUS and stayed all night! Seriously my makeup looked great at the end of the night!
She recommended individual lashes for me, usually I just get the one strand lashes, I am so glad I took her recommendation! They looked so natural and beautiful and were not heavy or bothersome like the others usually are.
She is very sweet and super responsive. She was honest with me about what she thought in the most professional way possible and I'm glad that she wasn't afraid to voice when she thought something wouldn't work. It took pressure off me and made me feel like I was getting a true honest opinion from someone who knew better than myself.
I would absolutely hire Nazeera again and would recommend her!

Nazeera did my hair and makeup a total of three times over the course of two days for my wedding events. I also did a trial with her prior to booking her for the wedding events. In all cases, she was great! She started the first day very early with me for my Indian wedding ceremony and got the dramatic look of a Sikh bride down to a tee. She was also familiar with how to drape the chunni/dupatta (head scarf) and Indian jewelry (tikka) on my head, which saved me the headache of finding someone to help with that. On the second day, Nazeera did two looks on me. One was for the Christian ceremony, which was a romantic, soft look with a half up/half down hairstyle. It was perfect - understated but bold enough to show up in the photographs. The second look was a more dramatic, night-time look for the reception, in which i wore traditional Indian evening wear - it was beautiful! She transformed me from the Christian ceremony (romantic, daytime look with hair half up/half down) to reception (dramatic, evening look with updo) during the cocktail hour. I was very pleased with her work and would hire again in a heartbeat!

Honestly, she does a great job with make up. Only problem is that I paid her about $350 for her service. She adds a tip. I Had my entire bridal party get ready with her. She charged. $150 and $ 25 tip for each person. A tip should be something a client gives you if they want to.

In short, she is unprofessional with poor business ethics.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I have never even written a review before, but I had previously went through these reviews upon booking them for my wedding, and felt good there were SO many positive reviews - what could go wrong, right?
To start, Here’s why:
Our wedding was on 4-5-2020 and the whole world shut down 2 weeks prior so everyone had to cancel their weddings due to Covid and She promised to use my deposit for a future service since her deposit is not refundable. I felt bad for her business since she was struggling according to what she said and I was like that’s fine let’s just keep the credit for future service then.
Fast forward to 2023, she is now saying that she only honored the service for 2021,2022 and not honoring anymore in 2023. While she never specified that there is an expiration date for the credit. And I have the proof of a text between me and her in September 2020 and she said “I can’t do any return of deposit at this time for at least next month until things get clear. Your deposit is valid with me and I will value that in the future and if I am not going to be available in your date I will give your deposit back”.
More details:
When I contacted her few weeks ago, she never responded, so I gave her few more days to respond just I thought she could be busy or something, still didn’t respond and then 12 days passed so I decide to email her because she is clearly receiving my messages and posting on Instagram in the meantime. She responded to my email saying that my deposit is expired last year without any further notice and I can not use the service anymore. So she basically took the money that she did NOT work for after promising to use my deposit for a future service.
She lied about giving me two years limit to use the service because on the texts she only stated that she will value the credit so I can use it for a “future service” and I can Include the screenshots. AND NOW she adds another lie on the “reply to my review” that she talked with me on the phone about the two years limit (she did NOT tell me two years on the phone) Everything was included via texts, PLEASE STOP LAYING).
I suggest you go read what you said and honored.
