What I paid for what I got was worth the money for the ceremony and reception. Having the reception at Haleiwa Joes was great for our guests to walk right up to the restaurant right after the ceremony. Coordinators were great and easy to work with and communication was quick. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a Hawaii wedding.

I cant thank you enough, from all the staff to every little detail. Couldn't imagine a better venue.

This is an amazing place to have your wedding, me and my husband got married here last September and it was amazing. This place is Gay friendly and the staff and the coordinators are outstanding and highly recommend having your events here.

We got married in June 2024, and it was an absolutely magical day! Our friends and family are still raving about how beautiful everything was and how amazing the food tasted. Tamara and her team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. I can't thank them enough for making our day more magical (and stress-free) than we ever imagined! Haiku Gardens truly has weddings and receptions down to a science. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stunning "one-stop-shop" wedding venue on Oahu!

The wedding planner at Haiku Gardens was so patient who understood our needs and wants and made it work for us with no pressure. Her coordinators day of wedding were very organized and knew our plan. The team took it to another level when our surprised guest (dog) arrived without us knowing which was planned by family. There was no miscommunication at all. Also, to top it all Haleiwa Joe's had good food and great service where we plan on dining in later. We appreciate this venue making our first time experience which we never been to nor ate at a memorable one!

Tamara helped us plan all the details from the mainland and she and her team were attentive and took care of everything on the wedding day. Planning our wedding at Haiku Gardens was not only easy, it was also incredibly affordable for what we got.

(We knew we wanted to have a destination wedding so we'd be able to spend several days with friends and family and were shocked, in the best way possible, when we discovered we could afford Haiku Gardens/Haleiwa Joe's.)

Haiku Gardens and Haleiwa Joes are a top notch venue on the windward side of Oahu to host any and all private events. The manager, Tamara, was a gracious and communicative host and organized everything beautifully for a private wedding brunch at Haleiwa Joes. The catering menu was tiered and reasonably priced and the food was a hit amongst locals and out of town guests. The drinks were as good as they always were and the venue is just stunning year round, rain or shine. We cannot recommend this place for any and all of your wedding needs. Mahalo Tamara and the staff at Haiku Gardens and Haleiwa Joe’s for making this an unforgettable event!

Planning a destination wedding can be very stressful, especially if you are not able to visit the venue until the week of your wedding. Tamara, the wedding coordinator had made this stressful process unbelievably easy and smooth. She was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process and she always put my anxiety at ease by being so on top of every single detail that I wanted for my wedding. The rehearsal was the very first time we met and she continued to ease my anxiety with getting everything set up for the wedding. The actual wedding ceremony and reception was completely smooth and perfectly went as well as it can be. Tamara and her team worked really hard to make our day so perfect and it really was. I recommend anyone who would like to have a destination wedding in Oahu to have it here. Tamara and her team will make this whole process stress free and it is an absolutely beautiful, breath taking venue outside of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. It is a tropical, fairytale wedding you will never forget.

This place matched (and even exceeded) my expectations. My husband and I planned this wedding from North Carolina, so we really didn't get an opportunity to tour the venue at any point before the wedding rehearsal and I wasn't sure how it would all come together in the end.
But oh my gosh, I was blown away at how beautiful and perfect it all was. The wedding day was completely seamless; everything was on schedule and flawlessly executed. The decorations were absolutely beautiful, and I was stunned at how they perfectly nailed the type of bouquet and centerpiece I wanted (I asked for king protea as the centerpiece flower for the bouquet, and I was so shocked that, not only did they have it, but the flowers looked exactly like the example photo I had sent to Tamara a few weeks prior)! The food and drinks were also amazing and delicious, and the live band was excellent. Everyone was so helpful and professional. And all of our guests raved about how it was the best wedding they had ever attended.
It's a perfect venue for anyone wanting a lush, secluded tropical garden wedding with a gorgeous mountain-peaked skyline. The photos online do not do the venue any justice - the garden is a feast for the eyes. Tamara and her team did a wonderful job! If they can pull off an excellent wedding and reception for someone planning it from 5,000 miles away, they can do anything! Next time we're in Kaneohe, we'll swing by Haleiwa Joe's and reminisce about our wonderful wedding day experience. Mahalo, Tamara!

We are so lucky to have gotten married at Haiku Gardens. The in-house wedding planner, Tamara, is a true GEM! We are so grateful for all her support in planning our wedding over the course of two years (because of COVID), including postponing and then scaling down our wedding. Planning a wedding at the Haiku Gardens was the best decision we could have made. Tamara, Our wedding planner, was a delight to work with. She made the whole “destination wedding” be a stress free process. The pictures of the garden just do not do it justice. This is what we imagine a Hawaii wedding would be!

We had to scratch all of our original wedding plans due to covid. My gf suggested to check out Haiku Gardens, and I'm SO glad we did! It was the most perfect little covid wedding we could've imagined. We got married in a cute chapel, but they also have an outside venue if that's more your style! Everything went so smoothly and Tamara was so easy to work with. And I can't forget to mention THE VIEW!!! Absolutely breath taking and blew our original plans out of the water!

Deciding to plan a wedding from almost 3,000 miles away while a full time student made me very nervous but Tamara has made it so unbelievably easy! I'm a little crazy when it comes to being prepared and started planning our wedding over a year in advance due to school consuming my life. Not only has Tamara replied to every email, helped me get every detail situated, answered any questions I've had but she also replies so fast, even with the 3 hour time difference! Aside from the look of the venue itself, the wedding packages caught my attention. Since my fiance and I were both finishing law school and taking the bar literally up until our wedding date I knew having to handle a million wedding details on my own wasn't going to happen. I loved the idea of a set package at a reasonable price (honestly cheaper than throwing together a wedding in my home state) but the amount of customization for those packages is great, we were able to make so many adjustments and Tamara was more than happy to help us. Planning alone has been so easy that it's well worth the price but you get an absolutely gorgeous venue on top of it!

Tamara and her team were very responsive and flexible. Despite the uneventful circumstances, Tamara and the continued communication between the vendors made our day perfect!

My husband and I had our wedding at Haiku Gardens back in August. We had taken a look at several locations around the island and we both automatically knew we wanted to have our wedding there! We LOVED the lush green garden, it was exactly what we were looking for. I'm originally from Hawaii, so half of our guests would be flying in from the mainland. Keeping our guests in mind - we wanted to give them a beautiful experience outside of Waikiki, where most of them who were flying in would be staying.
During the wedding planning process, we kept in contact with Tamara through email during the months preceding our date. We were wondering difficult it would be planning a wedding from California, but Tamara made it so seamless and easy! It was easy to reach her and she was very responsive. Every email was so detail oriented which eased off a lot of stress. We already had found a few vendors on our end and she helped us find the rest.
Seeing everything come together during the big day was absolutely breathtaking! Since Haiku Gardens is on the windward side of the island, it does have a tendency to rain there more often. We did have a few sprinkles during the ceremony but it added to the magic of it (and hey, they say it's good luck). All of our guests loved the garden, it felt like our own private oasis. Everything ran so smoothly, huge thanks to Tamara and team!!

I really don't know how many times I overlooked this place when looking for a wedding venue. When I finally stopped and looked at what Haiku Gardens offered I was surprised. It checked all of our boxes!

I really could go on! The gardens are closed to the public for your wedding and then you get the restaurant to yourself until 2:30! I wanted privacy over all else. I didn't want people walking around in the back of a wedding photo, but I knew privacy came at a cost and with a budget, I knew it would be hard but with Tamara, everything was a million times more easy.

I came to her 7 months before we wanted to get married and she didn't bat an eye. I really just had to give her photos of what I wanted or something close to it and she did it. I wanted a minimalist hippie theme and I got it. She helped me narrow down what I thought I wanted to what I actually wanted. I really can't thank her enough.

I would recommend even for a smaller event, a million times over.

You don't have to look any further for a wedding venue, pick up the phone and call Tamara to save your date. We recently got married at Haiku Gardens in Kaneohe and couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding. From the venue itself to Tamara and her team, Haiku Gardens provides a truly exceptional wedding. 
The overwhelming feedback from our friends and family was how beautifully smooth our wedding day looked and felt. This is largely attributed to Tamara's talent, organizational skills, transparency, and of course the venue. Not to deter from how much work it takes to plan a wedding, Tamara and Haiku helped to make it look effortless. The end result was our dream wedding. 
The venue itself is breathtaking! Set back in Kaneohe, you would never know this oasis existed and that is part of the charm. As you embark down the paved path from the parking lot to the gardens, you pass the restaurant with a thatched roof, which reminds you of an earlier era in Hawaii. Continuing down the path, a tropical landscape comes in to view, complete with a gazebo and pond full of fish and turtles. Finally, you've arrived at the oasis, the Haiku Gardens. Should you opt for a more traditional setting, a chapel can also be found in the gardens  However, your ceremony can be configured in a number of layouts around the gardens with so many options as a backdrop for your day. 
In addition to a ceremony site, Haiku Gardens offers use of their restaurant, Haleiwa Joe's (the thatched roof restaurant you walked past on your way down to the gardens) for your reception. This is where the magic of Tamara and her team continued to make our dream wedding come true. With a plethora of options for pupu's, our guests devoured the Tempura Crab Rolls, Bruschetta, and Fruit which paired nicely with the bar. 
And the bar and bar staff did not disappoint! Nearly every guest made it a point to let us know how impressed they were with the service they received from the staff. The staff came around to replenish empty drinks as quickly as they could. This is the kind of attention to detail that does not go unnoticed, so big Mahalo to the staff.  Insider tip, the Li Hing Margarita was a show stopper! Thank you for keeping the drinks flowing!
Of course the buffet was on par with everything else at Haiku/Haleiwa Joe's. The coconut mac nut chicken, grilled fresh fish, and kalua pig were so delicious. Honestly, there are so many options it will be hard to narrow down your selection to offer to your guests. You can't go wrong with any of the menu options. Looking around, it seemed like all of our guests loved the food. 
With countless photo booth companies to choose from, it can be hard to pick one to go with. However, our photo booth from Party Pix Hawaii was absolutely beautiful, the backdrop was perfect, the props were so funny, and best of all the custom layout helped photos look awesome! The candy buffet from Victoria's Sweets was a massive success. She had so many options with the best containers and scoops to make the candy buffet look awesome. She did a great job setting up the table, it was just what we wanted.
The photographer Eric from L'amour was incredible! Eric made the day great with his personality and energy. He was flexible and accommodating with the photos we wanted. He ran a smooth operation and made us laugh at the right times. The pictures turned out beautifully, we are so happy with the results. I cannot recommend Eric enough! The florals from Passion Roots was everything and more. Words cannot express how beautiful and breathtaking the floral arrangements were. From the ceremony alter and isle pieces to the reception center pieces and arrangements around the venue were truly breath taking. If we already weren't in a garden, the flowers from Passion Roots made it feel like we were submerged in a tropical garden. Not to mention the cascade floral arrangement were to die for. Thank you!
Ultimately, we were beyond thrilled with our wedding at Haiku Gardens. A massive Mahalo to Tamara and all the hands that helped prepare this day for us. I could not recommend Haiku Gardens and Tamara more. Truly an exceptional wedding experience. 

It was the best wedding ever! Everything turned out better than we expected. Tamara, our coordinator, was very helpful before and during the wedding. She was able to execute what I envisioned and so much more. She made it better than we imagined! On the day of the wedding, she constantly assured me that all will be well (and it was). I didn't worry about anything. The food at Haleiwa Joe’s and the service were exceptional! During the wedding, several guests have come up to us and told us that the food was great and the wedding was the most unique, memorable wedding they have seen. If you’re looking for a garden wedding, this is your place! It is a magical. The greenery will make your photos look awesome and the people will make it memorable!

After contacting several hotels and venues, James and I decided to get married at Haiku Gardens on 8/17/19. Little did we know, it was also the day of the sold out Cowboys/Rams football game lol.

Nonetheless, we are so glad we choose this beautiful and intimate garden and a one-venue location for both the ceremony and reception. They have an affordable wedding package with great vendors (Officiant Kimo Taylor, We Heart Cake Company, Picket Fence Florist and Eric from Lamour Hawaii). The food at Haleiwa Joe’s was delicious which we really couldn’t enjoy but know our guests did! Lastly, Tamara our awesome wedding coordinator is amazing! She made our 4 month wedding planning less stressful and took care of pretty much everything. She responded to my unending emails in a timely manner and put all my worries at ease. I just don’t know how she does this for so many couples!

With that said, we HIGHLY recommend Haiku Gardens and Haleiwa Joe’s as their services and staff are exceptional! We are truly blessed and thankful for them making our wedding day the best day ever and so memorable for our close family and friends! We can’t wait to come back and really enjoy that prime rib!

My husband and I got married at Haiku Gardens in October 2018. It was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day surrounded by the breathtaking nature and creation of the garden. Sitting in the base of the Ko’olau mountains with lush, green trees and vibrant flowers, a gazebo and pond with turtles made it special for our guests too! We thoroughly enjoyed being in the environment. Working with Tamara was so easy. She has a lot of experience as a wedding coordinator and made planning my wedding super smooth and stress free. She is a very pleasant person to talk to, open to hear your thoughts and ideas, but will also help guide you if you’re not sure what to do next. I highly recommend Haiku Gardens for your future wedding!

Where do I start. Haiku Gardens is the most sirene gardens you can be at. So peaceful and so breathe taking. Most of all Tamara was the greatest. Got the things I wanted and made it happen. I felt that I was very difficult to deal with but Tamara was very patient with me through the whole process.

Haiku Gardens is truly a special place, with a beautiful garden backdrop and a restaurant venue with delicious food and drinks. Tamara really makes it so easy, she has all the details, all the options, she can really provide just about anything you need. Our garden ceremony was intimate and beautiful, our photographer (part of the package) knew all the spots to shoot and made it so seamless and easy. Our luncheon was awesome, the servers are fantastic, the food (tossed salad with miso oriental dressing, shrimp pasta, fried noodles, prime rib, and more) was so delicious. The bartenders were amazing as well, they kept the beers, Long Islands, and shots flowing. At the end of the day, there was no stress for me, only happy memories of enjoying my wedding day with my husband, family, and friends. Thank you, Haiku Gardens Weddings.

We just had our wedding in || P A R A D I S E || at Haiku on 1.18.19. Let me just tell you if you are even thinking Haiku might be a good fit for your big day don’t think twice.... || I T I S || !!!! Tamara is legit the most amazing person to work with, she’s personable, knowable & so friendly! She went above and beyond on so many things for us, we can’t thank her enough. The gardens are a magical place, the feels & of course the views are the most amazing thing ever! Our family can’t stop talking about how perfect it was...we got a little rain but that didn’t stop us one bit. It might have even made it better, we had a very boho chic themed wedding so the rain added to it perfectly!! Ok now lets get to the good good stuff....the bar & food!!

Wedding Ceremony/Reception: 10/4/18 We chose to do both our ceremony and reception at Haiku Gardens. There is absolutely nothing that we regret about our day. It's months later and we're still often told how beautiful, seamless, and fun our wedding was. We simply can't take all the credit. Tamara, her amazing vendors, and Haleiwa Joe's staff truly made our day unforgettable. As a coordinator, Tamara was always so prompt with her email replies (we planned from CO) and never pressured me to make a decision (even though we were coming down to just weeks before the wedding). Her responses were thorough and kind, and always so very patient. We felt extremely taken care of the whole day, our guests included. The ceremony site in the gardens will always hold such a special place in my heart. It's breathtaking and the fact that we got married in that lush little heaven will forever stay in my heart. The food during our reception was just as great as the service and staff. Sometimes with buffet style you find the food to be over seasoned, under seasoned, or over cooked. This definitely was not the case with Haleiwa Joe's. I'm not sure if they were allowed to, but many of our guests happily went home with heaping take away boxes of leftovers :) The buffet was well tended to the duration of our reception. I don't know how the staff kept up with the constant drink orders, but they never skipped a beat! Shot after shot, they poured with a happy laugh. Like I mentioned above, we've been back at home in CO for a few months now and our friends still talk about how much fun our wedding was. So much of that is because of all of the staff, vendor teams, and Tamara. We're truly so, so grateful for everything you all did for us. Book with Haiku Gardens/Haleiwa Joe's. You wont regret it

My husband and I got married at Haiku Gardens in October. The site is beautiful and it was exactly how we pictured our day wedding to be. The food was delicious of course. What we really appreciated most was the help from Tamara and the staff there. Tamara helped organize many of the awesome vendors that we had at our wedding and made sure everything was coordinated to make the entire day run as smoothly as possible for all to enjoy. Tamara was there throughout the entire process to make sure nothing was left out. Being a coordinator myself, I appreciated all of the details she made sure to check off throughout the time of my reservation until after the reception was over. I would definitely recommend this venue to all of my family and friends!

Anybody can have their wedding in a concrete jungle, golf course, country club or beach but having it in your own private tropical garden is awesome!!
That's what Haiku gardens is-a serene secluded (bug free ..they spray every friday) garden with a quaint little chappel and gazebo. A perfect alternative to other spots for a very memorable ceremony.
Not only was Haiku Gardens a perfect setting it also had the perfect Wedding coordinator Tamara. Tamara took care of the planning and knew exactly how to support us and even had very helpful suggestions. Tamara was always willing to help and was very efficient, cool and quick answering our many questions and had the remedy to every concern that we had.
Not only is Tamara the coordinator for the Haiku Gardens ceremonys but if you go with renting out "Haliewa Joes" for the reception (additional $500 just to close it down) Tamara is also the coordinator for the venue as well. Off course Tamara was also just as dilligent, friendly, calm patient and accomodating there too. She was always on the same page as us in terms of discussing details, offering options, and simply reassuring us that things were on track. She is incredibly calm in the midst of the mutitude of questions; we appreciated her steadfast commitment to our special day!
We also had our reception at "Haleiwa Joes" too. Their food was good and their prime rib was so good ( some say the best on the island at an additional cost to add to their menu packages).
The setting is casual with a local flavor (a lot of polished wood), very open and airy with fans throughout. The ceiling fans gave a local flair to the ambiance!
So if you are looking for a beautiful unique setting for your ceremony or if you are wanting the ceremony and reception in one setting give Haiku Gardens a try you wont be disappointed.

We had the most PERFECT wedding at Haiku Gardens! The process was very smooth from choosing the venue, to choosing the food, flowers, decor, music, officiant, photographer, and so much more!

Tamara, the wedding planner/coordinator was amazing to work with and kept me updated every step of the way. She is seriously the best!! We planned the wedding from Colorado, and I never felt stressed or worried that we would not have the wedding we were envisioning. She worked easily with our budget and gave us important suggestions that we would not have considered otherwise. I could not have imagined going through the wedding day without Tamara keeping everything on track and making sure everything went smoothly. There was hurricane predicted on our wedding day, but luckily we had a brief "good luck" rain shower, and there was no hurricane in sight! If there was, they had a covered chapel available as well.

The food and atmosphere of Haiku Gardens and Haleiwa Joe's were amazing, and guests have not stopped commenting how beautiful it was! They also help to set up the tables, chairs, and decorations so you don't have to worry about a thing! Tamara even documented our wedding set-up from start to finish on Instragram, which was also really cool, as we got to see all the behind the scenes hard work they put in to make sure every wedding is perfect. We loved every aspect of our wedding, and could not have been happier. I would HIGHLY recommend Haiku Gardens and Tamara for your wedding, you will not regret it! My husband and I got married at Haiku Gardens and had our reception at their restaurant (on site) Haleiwa Joes. We got such positive feedback from our family and friends who attended. They loved the scenery and the cozy, relax feel they got from the reception. The food was also a highlight! Prime Rib is a must!

Tamara is the best! She is very efficient with responding to emails! I had a lot of questions that she answered with proficiency! She's very patient, and hospitable! I felt very comfortable when first meeting her! Tamara is open to meeting with you at the Garden to go over an questions you may have or if you want to view the venue. The experience that my Husband and I had at our wedding at Haiku Gardens was amazing. The food was great and the staff treated us and our guests like 'Ohana. I am glad that I chose Haiku Gardens as my wedding because I knew that I wanted my wedding to be simple, but yet beautiful that was surrounded by lush green trees and mountains. Haiku Gardens gave me the wedding of my dreams, and Tamara is the BEST wedding coordinator that I have ever came across. She was very helpful and patient during the stressful moments of our wedding. My wife and I got married at Haiku Gardens on April 2nd and had an incredible experience. Despite the heavy downfall of rain (which obviously was not their fault and expected in Hawaii), Tamara and her crew did a fantastic job making sure our guests were sheltered from the rain before heading down to the chapel... and most importantly, the bride was protected and delivered unscathed from the rain! Tamara was fantastic to work with, especially with us coming from California. Her communications with us were timely and helpful. He provided references and direction regarding vendors and structure for the day. When it came to our reception lunch, the food at Haleiwa Joe's was great! Our guests were impressed with how good the food turned out because buffets you can easily get over cooked and under or over flavored food. Because of the beautiful location, the great food, and fantastic service and support for planning a destination wedding, I would highly recommend Haiku Gardens for anyone's wedding!

My wife and I had an incredible yet intimate wedding ceremony here. Tamara went above and beyond all of our expectations to have our wedding day perfect. To the officiant, wedding singer, and photographer, nothing was subpar. We highly recommend coming to Haiku Gardens to have your wedding. You won’t be disappointed from the service nor the scenery. It’s exceptional.

My Husband and I got married April 2nd. We decided in February to get married in Hawaii instead of traveling home to the mainland and we were lucky to find such a wonderful place on short timeline. Tamara is a lovely person and was very quick to getting back to us and took care of flowers, cake, photographer and Haleiwa Joe's has wonderful food, when my husband found out they would be serving food he was very excited. He has eaten there before and loves their prime rib. The venue is so beautiful with a small lake, an open air chapel so you don't have to worry about it raining on you. The venue also has a tropical garden that is very well maintained. When a wedding is not going on it is open to the public but will be closed off for your ceremony so it is very private. I highly recommend this venue.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about getting married at Haiku Gardens. If that’s all you need to hear, then book with Tamara immediately. You won’t regret it. Also, ours was a gay wedding with absolutely NO problems, so bring it here LGBTQ community!

Haiku Gardens blows the competition out of the water. I’m in Boston now but grew up 10 min away from the venue and still I was floored by its beauty. The pictures are stellar but even they don’t do the venue justice. Our wedding was in February so it ended up being cool (and luckily no real showers) but if you’re going to be outside in the summer prepare for warmth.

Also, the view from the restaurant will knock your guests socks off (and makes for a KILLER backdrop for photos)

Tamara was hands-down the reason we picked this place and is the reason we’d come back (maybe renewing our vows?) She has a smooth process in place with spreadsheets that help catch what you might miss in planning. Her deep experience in planning weddings means she can provide valuable suggestions throughout (and be creative in solutions day-of.)

Again, we were in Boston planning with a 6 hour time difference and she was prompt in her responses and persistent if we didn’t answer something she needed. What she brings to the sweetheart table cannot be overstated.

Go for the spiral setup so you can walk down the aisle and see each person’s face. It was a breathtaking moment that I will cherish forever. If you have to set up anything beforehand, you and your family can arrive early to place flowers/lei/settings and she has a team to help. Tamara organized the other vendors for us (Music for the ceremony, Music for reception, Photo booth and food/drink.)

Photography was also clutch - Eric made us laugh and got some excellent pics throughout. Bottomline is that her list of preferred vendors are easy to work with, reasonably priced and totally worth it.

My husband and I just got married at Haiku Gardens in December. The location is beautiful, the food is amazing, and to top it off we had the best service! Tamara was our wedding coordinate for Haiku Gardens, and she was the reason it was a success. She respond to all of my emails and answered all of my questions kindly and promptly. I was lucky enough to have rain on my wedding day, despite the weather report saying it was supposed to be sunny. My husband and I are were utterly BLESSED to have married at Haiku Gardens in December 2017! The gardens are lush with green, crisp air, the Ko'olau mountain was a natural backdrop, and a level-below-heaven. My walk down the aisle from the gazebo to the stone stairs really made the waterworks lol.
Our guests really enjoyed the gardens as well as the reception food. Hale'iwa Joe's was so delicious and you are guaranteed for a kanack attack (aka food coma). Some hadn't visited here for 10+ years or it was there very first time and they loved it :) I'd like to give a very big mahalo to our wedding coordinator, Tamara (highly recommend)! She's incredibly organized, patient, and kept step with us every step of the way as we planned within less than 6 months. No other place i'd recommend to marry! God bless!

Throughout the process of getting everything ready for the wedding, Tamara always kept us informed with her progress and the financial portion of each decision we made. She was unbelievably patient as I would take days (sometimes weeks!) to get back to her and never once called me out on taking too long. She was even kind enough to send several reminders that our final deposit was due when I was almost a week late with it. She has such an eye for detail and gives everything her utmost attention. When I didn’t know what I wanted, she would present ideas or ask questions until we got to the best option. The invoice she gave us wasn’t just to keep us informed of our financial responsibilities, but also a tracker for us to see what was done and what else needed to be accomplished. It included almost everything that goes into a wedding, so even if we had elected to select a vendor ourselves, it stayed on the list so we were reminded that we needed to take care of it.
On the day of the wedding we were both pretty frazzled since it was pouring in the morning, but Tamara took it in stride and jumped right into setting up the indoor backup. We got lucky though and the sky cleared to a beautifully perfect day and she made sure that the garden was back on track to be the location we said our vows. Our perfect day would never had been as unforgettable as it was without the team at Haiku Gardens and most of all Tamara! I just can’t compliment her enough! Thank you for our magical day!

We planned our wedding for a little over 12 months...recently married at Haiku Gardens on 12/30/17. Tamara was always so quick to help me with all items needed to be arranged from the ceremony to the reception (Haleiwa Joe's). She met with me early and always calmed me down if I got a little excited. She was always helpful on ideas, recommendations and working with my budget. Let me tell you specifically about our ceremony... Tamara helped me plan the decor for the chapel and the layout, she handled all the final arrangements of the decorations in the chapel and it was BEAUTIFUL. She worked with my budget and helped me create something so amazing with whatever little I had. She gave me more than I expected so I am so grateful to write this review for her. I have had my share of bad parties and bad party planning... she calmed my nerves and handled everything for me and all she wanted was to make me happy on my special day. I'm tearing writing this because I never thought this day would had been so amazingly coordinated and executed... I have Tamara to thank for this. The gardens and chapel were beautiful but the wedding coordinator to me was the REAL star. I love you for all you've done for us Tamara. You made my wedding day so amazing I could never thank you enough.

Haiku Gardens is a beautiful location to have your dream wedding. One of the most important things to us during the planning process was to find a place that would have better than average food. The food was top-notch. Our guests loved the scenery and the delicious food. We still hear about how great the food was long after the wedding! Tamara was so wonderful to work with. She is very organized and really takes the time to help you during the entire process.

If you are even thinking about booking at Haleiwa Joe's at Haiku, think no more! BOOK IT! Book it now! I had no idea how much actually goes into planning a wedding. Thankfully, Tamara does. She has the vendors, the vision and the ability to make the wedding of your dreams a reality. Our guests are still telling us about how much fun they had!

Our wedding at Haiku Gardens was everything we expected and more! Our coordinator, Tamara, was the absolute best. She always responded quickly and with all sorts of helpful information. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. All other venues I contacted either took days to reply back or didn’t even reply at all. It’s so rare you see someone like Tamara that is so responsive and also willing to help in any way possible. If anything I’d recommend the venue alone just for her!

But of course it wasn’t just her, the venue itself is beautiful and well maintained. Of course it was very hot that day but you can’t control the weather no matter where you are and Hawaii is no different. Everything was set up perfectly in the garden though. I can’t wait to get my pictures from there.

For the reception we had the most wonderful DJ (DJ Telly) that really got the crowd going and also did some games and other things on his own to get people up and dance. It’s a little pricey but worth every penny because he really made a lot of difference. The food at Haleiwa Joes was fantastic as usual. Make sure you spend a little extra for the prime rib. Their prime rib is famous and it’s the exact same if you order for your reception. Worth it for the extra you have to pay! The mixed drinks were also really great. My family from the mainland loved all the Hawaiian twists on classic drinks.

Overall I can’t recommend this venue enough. I think they really value their guests and make sure you have everything you need to have a fantastic and memorable wedding. Thank you again to everyone at Haiku Gardens for a wonderful wedding.

My husband and I got married at Haiku Gardens on July 14, 2017 and everything from the decorations to the food was beyond our expectations. Tamara was a dream to work with over the past year with wedding planning. She was patient with our questions and requests and was very prompt with her responses. I would email Tamara almost on a weekly basis and she would get back to me within 48 hours which put my mind at ease being a destination bride from the mainland. The venue itself was gorgeous as the garden backdrop for both the ceremony and the reception was truly a treat for our guests. I would highly recommend Haiku Gardens for a wedding venue. It really was a dream come true!

Honestly, I don’t know where to begin! If you’re looking for a wedding ceremony and reception venue, consider Haiku Gardens (HG)! My husband and I chose this venue for various reasons and we are so happy we went with HG. Located in the East Side of O’ahu, we were met with the picturesque Ko’olau Mountains and an easy commute for our 120 guests. We chose the Mau Loa “forever” package (more information can be found on their website). For the ceremony, we added on iced tea and water for our guests because we got married on a summer day in Hawaii. Speaking of drinks, how can I not bring up the ‘ono (delicious) food served?! HG provided various choices and we decided to do a fruit platter to start off the reception. For lunch, HG provides various choices again and we chose this for our reception lunch: Caesar salad, sautéed veggies, white rice, garlic mash, grilled fish, sweet and sour chicken, and prime rib. DEFINITELY get the prime rib for your wedding. Our guests have told us that the food was amazing! HG staff made us plates and also made to-go boxes when the reception was done.
HG has a list of wedding vendors they work with but they were also open to working with vendors that we chose on our own. This was a big help because we wanted our Church Pastor to perform the ceremony.
The coordination, planning, and execution was done by Tamara and we received day-of assistance by Taylor (I believe that’s her name). Tamara was so helpful even before we booked HG as our venue. She was professional, easy to work with, responded to emails within a reasonable amount of time, approachable, answered my questions genuinely and just my dream come true what I envisioned as a wedding specialist!

My husband and I got married at Haiku Gardens in April of this year. We live on the mainland and only met Tamara and visited the venue once before our wedding. Tamara was so personable from the moment we met and I cannot express how wonderful it was to work with her! While the idea of planning a destination wedding can be a little daunting since most decisions are made with sight unseen, our wedding couldn't have been more perfect! Tamara was very accommodating with our requests and made sure that every little detail that we had talked about was done. I can honestly say that because of Tamara, my husband and I experienced very little wedding planning stress because she was always on top of things. One thing that I really appreciated about Tamara was that she treated us like friends not clients, which is so important when you're planning your wedding.

We loved all of the vendors that Tamara recommended (L'Amour Photography + Video, Delish Makeup Artistry, Reverend Kimo, We Heart Cupcake). We worked with Eric and John from L'Amour Photography + Video and Heather from Delish Makeup Artistry and they were so much fun!! Reverend Kimo was super accommodating with our requests and We Heart Cupcake was so delicious! I cannot for the life of me remember who our vendor was for our flowers...but they were soo beautiful and people actually asked me if they were fake, haha :P

We didn't get to try any of the food prior to the wedding but we are still getting comments on how good the food was! (I am still dreaming of that prime rib!). All of our guests complimented on the beauty of the venue and how it felt like we were in Jurassic Park :)

My wife and I got married at Haleiwa Joe's at Haiku Gardens last December and we couldn't have chose a better location for the event. The staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, and patient during the entire wedding planning, ceremony and reception. The manicured garden with the dramatic Koolau backdrop is the ideal place to get hitched or just stop by for a drink. The food was amazing all all of our guests from the Mainland and South Korea couldn't stop talking about how ono it was. Everything was perfect.

We were recently married on this past New Year's Eve at Haiku Gardens. We chose to use the chapel for the ceremony and have a cocktail hour up in the lounge for guests while we enjoyed the garden to take more photos. Everything worked out wonderfully and just as Tamara and I had discussed prior to the big day. We only began planning the wedding just a short 2 months before and Tamara put my mind at ease by arranging all the details. The staff, officiant and musician were all amazing! We had our wedding and reception at Haiku Gardens! Tamara, the wedding planner was awesome! Up till the wedding day Tamara was extremely helpful, patient, and very kind. Having our wedding at Haiku Gardens and the reception at Haleiwa Joe’s was a wonderful experience! Everyone complemented the beauty of the gardens and views from the restaurant as well as the delicious food. Working with Tamara, the wedding coordinator, made the process so easy. She is very flexible, patient, and kind. I live in California and I was finishing my doctorate while planning a destination wedding, but working with Tamara made the whole thing easy. She had many vendors to suggest and found our really great DJ for a great price! When we realized that we had extra money in our budget to play with the day before the ceremony, she went out and picked up extra leis for our guests for us! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

When I asked friends where to have my daughter's wedding, they said "Haiku Gardens". My daughter was married at Haiku Gardens in August. Tamara was great to work with and we were able to adopt our "Scottish/Hawaiian" wedding theme to the beautiful grounds. It is such a serene and quiet place! The day was perfect, in fact my daughter told me it was "the best day of her life", and that is all a proud daddy needs to hear to know the planning and costs were all worth it! My husband and I married at Haiku Gardens on a Friday morning in June. It was the happiest day I can remember. We searched for a venue for a long time, but decided on Haiku Gardens because we wanted to have the ceremony and reception at the same location or in close proximity, and we wanted an outdoor ceremony with the reception protected from the elements, and we also wanted a backup Plan B for the ceremony in case of heavy rain. Haiku Gardens was perfect. The gardens are lovely, the mountains absolutely majestic, and you continue to enjoy both from the views from the restaurant. And the restaurant has a great set up for gathering together, chatting individually, and celebrating on the dance floor.

The wedding coordinator, Tamara, was so communicative and friendly, and made planning and coordination SO much easier than it would have been had we decided to do everything ourselves, and made the day of our wedding go smoothly! She was such a pleasure to work with. We had some special requests for things we wanted to incorporate into our wedding and reception that may have been a little outside the general routine (a photo booth we brought in, for example) and she worked with us to make them happen. Thank you, Tamara!

And the food – so ono. My husband and I definitely prioritize food over other expenses (we like to eat; who doesn’t?), and we and our family were so happy with all the food! The ahi, the tempura crab rolls, the fresh fish with capers… sigh. And the DJ, Bobby, that Tamara organized for us, was awesome. And, as a little side-note, I was very impressed at how few mosquitoes there are at the gardens. I am a mosquito magnet, but hardly had issues here. I would recommend Haiku Gardens to any couple considering wedding and reception locations on Oahu.

We got married on a Saturday afternoon at Haiku Gardens/Haleiwa Joe’s in June of this year. Haiku Garden’s is such a beautiful place! I can’t want to see the photos! We had our ceremony outdoors in front of the hut and it was perfect! We had pupus for our quest at Haleiwa Joe’s while my Husband and I were taking photos. Everyone raved about the shrimp! The buffet brunch reception followed after and our guests said the food was delicious. We had a party of about 60 guests and it was perfect and exactly what I wanted for our big day. I really enjoyed the experience of a “Destination Wedding” with the help of Tamara and we couldn’t have done it without her. The venue was perfect and the food was delicious. All of our guest said this was the most beautiful wedding they have been too! The rehearsal day one the first time my husband saw the venue and he was so happy with it! This day was so special to us and we are happy with how everything turned out. Our wedding was EVERYTHING we ever could have dreamed of thanks to Haiku Gardens/Haleiwa Joes and our INCREDIBLE wedding coordinator Tamara! Let me start off by saying that this venue had such incredible significance to my husband and I (the gazebo down by the little lake was where we had our first kiss and I grew up near the area), we never could have dreamed of a more perfect venue! On top of that, this venue was really inexpensive for what it really is worth. It has a million dollar view of the Koolau mountain range, a romantic gazebo over a mini lake/pond, an open air tahitian chapel, beautiful green foliage all around the garden (great for photos), a restaurant on site that serves ono food (perfect for receptions) so guests don't have to travel anywhere, and super friendly staff! Honestly the whole wedding experience at Haiku Gardens was great, we really couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. On top of EVERYTHING I just mentioned, this venue's wedding coordinator was seriously THE BEST! There were so many last minute changes that I had to make and SO many questions I had, but Tamara answered them all thoroughly, in a short period of time, and always assured me it was no big deal. She's super down to earth, friendly, and knows what she is talking about! She makes booking through Haiku Gardens worth it all by herself...that's how good she is! I highly recommend Haiku Gardens/Haleiwa Joes to anyone and everyone, whether you're on a tight budget or are willing to spend a little bit more, Haiku Gardens has special packages to suit every lifestyle! Haiku Gardens is an excellent choice for weddings or any occasion event at the gardens. I recenty (7/2/16) held my wedding ceremony there, and it was nothing short of beautiful.

Outdoor venues are awesome and SHOULD be highly sought after because let's face it, we live in Hawaii, a literal tropical paradise that offers year round sunny skies, moderate temperatures, and breezy trades. Haiku Gardens offers all the elements that couple the beauty of nature with the memories of the day - majestic Ko'olau backdrops, quaint gazebos sitting on garden ponds, bamboo and other tropical flora and fauna, as well as beautifully manicured lawns cradled by lush foliage.

Many venues and the success of the events they host are only as good as their events manager, luckily Haiku Gardens has a professional wedding coordinator and events manager onsite - Tamara Suyetsugu. Tamara is lovely, patient, accommodating, and very responsive. I've been in Marketing and promotions and have planned many events over the last 16 years and Tamara made the coordination and finalization of details even easier. She worked with my budget and provided creative suggestions for my ceremony that really brought a beautiful and whimsical aesthetic to the day - I can't thank her enough. Pricing, if you're wondering (and I know you are) is VERY reasonable; they offer packaged pricing or ala carte, so you can do as little or as much as you'd like.

The garden can accommodate up to 200 guests, which is more than enough for the typical local wedding. The grounds are well maintained, and there are indoor (onsite chapel) and outdoor options and varying touches (different arches) to make your event unique. Parking too is ample with an estimated 60+ stalls, plus some street parking.

I had my Haiku Gardens wedding June 2016 and it was perfect. Tamara, the wedding coordinator, went above and beyond my expectations. She made destination wedding planning a breeze. My guests could not stop complimenting how great the food was. I highly recommend this venue.

Recently my non-profit group held our Annual Meeting at Haleiwa Joe’s at the beautiful Haiku Gardens. It was an absolute joy working with Tamara. She tended to every detail and was very responsive to our questions and requests. The luncheon was delicious and the service was excellent. The seating was ideal for event. It was spacious and festive and felt like old Hawaii. We had a very lovely time! It would be a stunning setting for a wedding!

From the the very first time I met Tamara, I knew that she would make wedding planning simple. I'm a pretty busy lady, so even though I live on O'ahu, I only met Tamara in person twice before the big day - the first time I saw the venue and the day of my rehearsal. She planned and coordinated everything with grace, promptness, and professionalism all through phone calls, texts, and email. Coming from a woman who loves emails, charts, lists, and schedules, let me tell you firsthand that Tamara is incredible. She always went above and beyond my expectations to answer every email, every question, every worry I ever had. I'm pretty sure my email thread with her is over 100 emails long haha and she never made me feel like all my questions were a burden. She worked directly with the vendors I found on my own either because I loved their work or because they were family or friends standing in to cut costs. And filled all the gaps with vendors I didn't have using her incredible network of wedding professionals - all at a better price than I could find myself. 

You know your wedding was a success when you have to kick people out the door at the end of the reception. All of our guests are still sending us messages saying how beautiful and amazing our wedding and venue were! The best part is my husband and I can go back to Haleiwa Joe's every year on our wedding anniversary to reminisce about our beautiful and special day :) 

My husband and I instantly fell in love with Haiku Gardens. We had our wedding there in January. It is such a beautiful location, and the coordinator Tamara was amazing to work with. During the entire planning process she was able to answer all of my questions and she always got back to me right away. She put in so much work to make our dream wedding a reality, even in the last few weeks before the event she was able to add in the small details I had requested.

All the vendors that we had booked through Haiku Gardens were also great! Heather from Delish Make-Up was willing to be up with us at 4 a.m. to make sure my bridesmaids and I looked perfect. And the harpist and officiant really made our ceremony memorable. On our wedding day we did run into some unexpected problems but my husband and I never felt rushed or frustrated. Tamara and the rest of the staff did an excellent job of taking care of everything so that we could enjoy our wedding. Our guests were raving about how beautiful the location was and how delicious the food was. Our wedding at Haiku Gardens and Haleiwa Joes was better than we imagined it would be. We’re so glad we choose them for our special day!!!

This venue was perfect for my husband and I! We loved Tamara and all her help planning the wedding in less then 2 months! This venue was beautiful! We had a scare with the weather but Tamara was ready to change over our ceremony to the chapel if needed to. She was such a stress reliver in planning the wedding! We recently had our wedding at Haiku Gardens along with Haleiwa Joe's as our on site caterers. The views at this venue were just spectacular, and the food was just as awesome! We absolutely loved everything about our wedding day, thanks to our wonderful wedding coordinator Tamara! Planning a destination wedding was a breeze at Haiku Gardens with Tamara on your side planning every detail, every step of the way. The communication was great and our wedding day turned out spectacular and way more than we could ever hoped it would be! A day that we'll always remember for the rest of our lives with such joy in our hearts! Thank you!!

I could not ask for more perfect locations. I was not interested in a beach wedding. I wanted green, flowers, and just beautiful scenery, and I believe i got all of that. I believe the price was fair and affordable. I love my pictures because the background is perfect. My wedding coordinator was extremely helpful and friendly. Being from Alaska and getting married in Hawaii, can be difficult. So i was very grateful for her, helping me make my day perfect.
I did have my reception off site. Not because of I had any issues with there restaurant but because I had a smaller party, and needed a smaller venue. I loved every minuet at the Gardens and If I could I would do it all over again there.

We had about 60 people attend our wedding and we planned our wedding in just two weeks! I recommend having Tamara as your wedding planner and coordinator. She's very accommodating and easy to work with. On your wedding day you want everything to run smoothly and having someone to take care of all the details will make your day easy going and stress free, just as it should be.
Ceremony: We chose Haiku Gardens and Haleiwa Joe's for our wedding ceremony for the beautiful surroundings. We knew we wanted an intimate outdoor wedding in a garden setting and Haiku Gardens was perfect for just that. Originally we wanted to get married on the garden grounds but since it stormed on our wedding day everything had to be moved into the outdoor chapel on site. Tamara our wedding coordinator took care of everything and made it a super easy move into the chapel. That's what's great about Haiku Gardens especially when planning an outdoor wedding. You need to be prepared for anything especially weather and since Haiku Gardens is located on the Windward side, it does rain often. We're so happy that the rain held out for us while we took our wedding photos. The pictures came out amazing! We went with L'amour Photography, Eric is awesome! I highly recommend L'amour when choosing a photographer for Haiku Gardens. We also had a harpist play before and during our ceremony, it was a beautiful addition that really set the tone for our wedding.
Reception: Definitely go with Haleiwa Joe's for your wedding reception. The restaurant is located on the same property and the views are beautiful. We really enjoyed overlooking the gardens surrounded by the Koolau Mountains encompassed by nature. The food and service is great!! Everyone involved with Haleiwa Joe's made our day and our guests very happy.

My now-husband and I knew we wanted a destination wedding, and it didn’t take us very long to choose Hawaii. We then decided we did not want a beach wedding, but something a little more lush. This narrowed down our options significantly, and we quickly landed on Haiku Gardens. We thought it looked gorgeous; we were pleased with the amount of information we could glean from the website (down to the a la carte wedding “menu”); and their wedding planner, Tamara Suyetsugu, was so responsive.

We booked Haiku Gardens about one year in advance (along with Haleiwa Joe’s for our reception). Almost all of the planning was done over e-mail, with a few phone calls. And there was a lot of planning to do—we ended up doing most everything through Haiku Gardens with the exception of only the photographer, videographer, and hair stylists/makeup artists. Even though Tamara was prompt, informative, and knowledgeable, we were nervous—planning from afar means we could show up and have everything be completely different from what we imagined/hoped. We were VERY GRATEFUL that our wedding turned out beautifully: the cake was yummy AND pretty (great approximation of the photo we provided), the food was delicious, the service was excellent, the surroundings were gorgeous, and Tamara made the entire experience almost 100% stress-free. Everything went smoothly, and we can remember our wedding fondly as a wonderful experience. Some of that is probably due to my husband and I being very chill ;) but this really is a fantastic venue that we DEFINITELY recommend for a special, beautiful celebration.

Tamara, the wedding planner/day of coordinator, was amazing. She was on top of everything. She picked out the perfect Officiant for me. The florist that she uses was amazing. I loved my bouquet. Everything was exactly what I asked for and exactly as I imagined it. The location is fabulous! The open air chapel was a great choice for my wedding but the gardens would have been amazing as well. Lots of great photo opportunities! We did not use the restaurant for our reception but it has beautiful views of the gardens! If I had to do it all over again I would definitely go back! Thank you Tamara for making my day perfect!

From the moment we contacted Haiku Gardens, until well after the ceremony itself had finished, planning our wedding with Tamara was a wonderful experience. Tamara was always quick to answer any of the myriad questions we sent her. My husband and I had our Vow Renewal ceremony and reception at Haiku Gardens August 15, 2015.

Our wedding coordinator, Tamara, was a godsend from start to finish! She was extremely prompt with responding to all of my texts, phone calls, and emails, which to me was key as I was planning from out of state. She accommodated all of my ideas (demands, really) and was great with making changes as my ideas kept changing. I actually had a change of heart on several things two weeks prior to the day of, and not only did she not even blink an eye to my request, but she delivered! Tamara made the planning process smooth and stress free. The only regret I have is NOT booking all vendors through her as that was the only stress that I experienced.

Our day could not have been more perfect! The ceremony location was absolutely gorgeous. Being on the Windward side of Oahu, there is always a chance of rain. Haiku Gardens does offer an indoor chapel for those unfortunate days, fortunately we did not have to utilize this. The day of our ceremony, it rained the moment I arrived in the garden (*tears welling*) but we waited for five minutes and then the sun made an appearance and never left! The beautiful gardens provided the most picturesque backdrop, exactly what you think a Hawaiian wedding should be.

The reception area was perfect for our 75 guest reception. The food was delicious and so beautifully presented. The wait staff was on point; all of our guests kept raving at how attentive they were. The moment we sat down at our Sweetheart Table we were waited on hand and foot; offered drinks, appetizers, and then on to our meals. Not once did we have to ask for something as our server was always offering what we needed. Five star service all the way!

All in all, our experience was top notch. Tamara made the planning experience seamless, and the day of flawless without my having to lift a finger. I highly recommend Haiku Gardens; they did NOT disappoint!

This wedding venue was absolutely stunning! Tamara, the wedding coordinator, was amazing to work with. She was very prompt with her responses to the hundreds of questions that I had. I was pretty stressed before the wedding, but during the wedding rehearsal, Tamara made sure that I knew how everything was going to work and flow the day of. The day of the wedding was a breeze! Tamara took care of every bump along the way and made sure to keep my husband and I were stress free! The food was delicious and the bartender and waiters were amazing. They were so attentive to all the guests and their needs and they were super happy. Overall, this wedding venue was affordable and the services they provided were so worth it!

We were very pleased with our ceremony at Haiku Gardens. (We held only our ceremony here, and the reception at a nearby venue). The venue was as beautiful as we’d hoped, and all of our guests were delighted by the atmosphere. The space easily accommodated our group of about 50 guests.

Our coordinator Tamara was easy to work with, and quite responsive. Of all our wedding events, the actual ceremony was among the least stressful because the details were clearly arranged, well in advance. We even arranged our officiant through Haiku Gardens, and were very pleased with his service.

We had a wonderful wedding ceremony and reception party at Haiku Garden and Halei'wa Joe restaurant. Beautiful deep green tropical garden made us relax and smile, and all of our guests said it was the best place for them too. Totally satisfied, thank you, Tamara!

My girlfriend at the time and I was looking for a nice place for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. My cousin referred us Haleiwa Joe's. We immediately fell in love with the whole atmosphere. After we became engaged we knew this was the place where we wanted to be married.

I got married on 3/28/2015 at Haiku Gardens and it was my absolute DREAM WEDDING! It was a destination wedding and I had never seen the location in person, only in pictures and I have to say that the pictures do it NO justice at all. It is breathtaking and I was beyond blown away at the beauty of this place when I arrived for my rehearsal. The lush tropical green gardens surrounding you and sounds of birds singing was like nothing I have ever seen or heard before. It was like another world. It was BEYOND my expectations or any ideas that I had of it to begin with. I had found the venue after hours of research and scouring the internet for the perfect, and affordable, venue for my destination wedding. I wanted the ceremony and reception in the same location and I didn't want to pay a fortune. I also know that Hawaii can be unpredictable as far as rain or shine so I needed to know that if rain happened to surprise me on my big day then I had a backup plan for that, which Haiku Gardens has in the form of a chapel on site with glass windows as to not take away from the scenery. If that sounds about what you are looking for then no need to look further! THIS IS IT! And trust me, I did my research and then some, like hours, upon hours.

One word....TAMARA! My absolutely unbelievable wedding planner/coordinator. I cannot even express how amazing she was with coordinating and planning my wedding down to the last detail. I wanted a very casual, surfer laid back kinda wedding and had a vision and she managed to execute it perfectly. I found pictures on pinterest (aka every future brides crack) of the flowers that I wanted, sent her a picture and showed up on my wedding day with them exactly as they were pictured. I wanted special bamboo chairs and a natural non fancy, no-linen look to the tables, etc. She made sure every detail was taken care of and perfect. Look no further brides! this is the perfect place!

I can’t say enough how much my husband and I and all of our family and friends enjoyed our wedding day. We had a morning ceremony in the beautiful gardens with a lunch reception at Haleiwa Joe’s which overlooks Haiku Gardens. We had lots of guests coming from out of town, so having the ceremony and reception at one place was perfect for all of them. The food was delicious and plentiful, and Tamara, the wedding coordinator, was amazing. She was so organized, professional, and approachable and took care of everything for us. My schedule is so busy, so we planned everything through e-mail and everything went off without a hitch. Whether you want a small wedding with a few family members, or you want to have an elaborate event, Tamara has the experience and expertise to make it happen!

One of my girlfriends visited the restaurant when she was on Oahu and as I was doing research on finding a venue I stumbled across this gem again. We wanted to stay on the windward side of the island so I knew something outside of Honolulu was a better option for us. Honestly, Haiku Gardens was better than I imagined! It was the most stunning wedding and reception that I could have asked for.

We did a simple, morning wedding with a brunch that followed. It was rainy that day and it could not have been a more mystical and gorgeous setting to marry the love of my life!

Thank you Tamara for making it so easy to plan! She was amazing! She listened to every detail and made my day effortless.

The music, photography, flowers, food, cake and service were all top notch. I cannot say enough great things about this magical place. It truly was a dream wedding!!!

My wedding at Haiku Gardens was fabulous and it was exactly what I had imagined! I wanted my special day to be very intimate and just surrounded with the people that we love... and that's exactly what we got. Haiku Gardens is a beautiful venue at the base of the Koolaus in Kaneohe with a gorgeous garden area and chapel. My fiancé and I decided to have our ceremony in the Chapel and it was just what we wanted. I still can't believe that I was able to pull this wedding ceremony off in just about 5 weeks! I know that sounds unbelievable, but wait until you meet Tamara, the AWESOME wedding coordinator! She definitely kept an eye on the details and deadlines and was always professional, polite and on top of everything. She was so easy to work with and very accommodating. The food and service was AMAZING and all of the guests enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend Haiku Gardens!

1. Location - doesn't get any better than this. It must be the most beautiful spot on the island, with lush plants and flowers, adorable gazebo on the pond, and tropical mountains in the background. My out-of-state guests were impressed. There were also so many great photo opps provided by the gardens.

2. Price/Package - I liked having several packages to choose from, as well as an ala carte menu. We did ala carte because we didn't want everything on the smallest package, but we wanted other options that weren't included. It was great to have that flexibility.

3. Food/Reception - We had a small party, and the restaurant set us up with a beautiful table with a great view, and Tamara had set everything up with the bride & groom signs, favors, and wedding cake table. The food was so so delicious and was cheaper than having a caterer. My groom LOVED his big hunk of prime rib (it was huge!) and everyone liked choosing whatever they wanted off the regular menu. It was also great to make people try local foods like ahi poke by ordering appetizers ahead of time. The drinks were also delicious. We also loved being able to look down at our ceremony location while we ate!

4. Tamara, wedding coordinator-amazing! I had never been to a wedding before ours, so I didn't know what I was doing... it was great to have guidance. Everything was so easy & stress-free! She was SO communicative - I emailed her probably 100 times and she got back to me almost always the same day or the day after at the latest. She helped me find a great violinist, photographer and florist, without me having to do a thing. The day of, Tamara set up the pretty bridal room (with a new GIANT mirror), was running back and forth with messages to and from my family, and was there for every need.

5. Weather - The weather was beautiful, but it relieved stress knowing we had the open-air chapel as a great back-up plan in case of rain.

Haiku Gardens was the place that my husband and I had our first kiss, and I never could have dreamed that we would be married in such a beautiful place! This place is truly magical. We had a very small wedding (25 people total), and almost all of our guests have said it was the most beautiful and tranquil wedding they have ever attended. If you are looking for a private and beautiful venue with a fairytale feeling, this is your place! In addition to a beautiful ceremony space and amazing backdrop for pictures, the food and service at dinner was awesome! Most importantly, the venue comes with a wedding coordinator (Tamara) who takes care of all of the details for you from beginning to end. She is kind, professional, and just a really great and hardworking person. Haiku Gardens is like a hidden gem, and if you can get it for a wedding venue - I say snap it up quickly!

We had our wedding the last week of Sept 2014, and I am so glad we found Haiku Gardens as our venue. The food and wait staff were nothing short of phenomenal. Tamara, the wedding coordinator, did an outstanding job helping us plan with only 3 weeks! The views while you sit and eat are absolutely breath taking, and I'm so grateful to have had our reception here. They made our day so much more perfect than it could've been.

Everything was great. Tamara was so helpful. She guided us through every part of this destination wedding. This was a Mr and Mr wedding so I wasn't sure how it would go over. They were great. The views were amazing and the dinner was just perfect! The waitress and waiters had great service. I couldn't ask for anything more.

My then fiancé and I visited many venues in Oahu on 9/2013 and Haiku Gardens was our last stop. It’s quite true what they say “save the best for last,” and Haiku Gardens was surely the best we saw. We instantly fell in love with the beautiful lush garden scenery, the stunning chapel and the option to have the ceremony outside on the lawn was a great feature. My husband is quite a picky individual but when we took the tour of Haiku Gardens there was no doubt in his mind that it was the place he wanted us to get married.
The Haiku Gardens wedding coordinator Tamara S. was such a delight to work with. Considering this was a destination wedding, Tamara was always on top of her emails even when she was busy she would reply and let me know when she will respond. Tamara gave us many options to choose from and also suggested some things that would work better for us.
We were hesitant at first to have a destination wedding but when we met Tamara the day of our tour we knew we would be in good hands and a month later
we decided to have our wedding at Haiku Gardens. You’d think destination weddings would be a lot harder but with the help of Tamara and her staff the day of our wedding

Haiku Gardens was amazing! Their staff and service were on top of it. There are no words to describe how grateful we are to them. WIthout them, the wedding wouldn't had run smoothly. I was married July 27, 2014 and had my ceremony at Haiku Gardens. My wedding day turned out even more perfect than I had ever imagined. We chose to be married inside the chapel since July is a particularly hot month. The chapel is beautiful and intimate and was so elegantly decorated with the gold chiavari chairs and sashes. The open walls and ceiling fans were a perfect touch for a hot day. I loved that the venue offered our photographer so many different kinds of shots. I also loved how private it felt because they block off the gardens during your ceremony. Tamara is super sweet and was so easy to work with every step of the way. She definitely made the entire process very easy. I highly recommend this venue to any bride, your guests will be awed by its beauty.

My husband and I recently got married here and we couldn't have been more happy with both the ceremony site and the reception following at Haleiwa Joes. First off, the site overlooks plush gardens, a gorgeous pond with gazebo, and the beautiful mountains of Kaneohe. My husband and I looked at multiple outdoor locations all over the island and no other venue took our (mostly mine) breath away like haiku gardens. The weather on this side of the island is always perfect and the secluded site provides a relaxing, comfortable, yet personal site for a wedding. On top of that, the wedding coordinator Tamara was increasingly helpful throughout the planning process. My husband was deployed for half of our engagement which meant I was left to do majority of the planning and it was very comforting to be able to always communicate with Tamara and get her input/ connections with Djs, photographers, florists, - basically everything we needed.
After the ceremony we rented out haleiwa joes for the night, which was the best decision we've ever made. The food there is by far the best on the island and openness of the restaurant keeps it cool with breezes coming directly on to the dance floor.
All in all, my husband and I had the time of our lives on our wedding day and we couldn't have imagined a better place to have it than haiku gardens and haleiwa joes.

If it was not for Tamara, we would still probably thinking about where and when we want to get married. Her timely response to all questions submitted through emails made everything go as planned. We have been to Haiku Gardens before for Weddings and Receptions. This is the reason why we had picked this venue to have our special day. There was no problems at all. Everything was taken care of in order to not have any undo stress put upon us. Tamara is a great asset to Haiku Gardens and should be recognized as such as one of the most gifted Wedding Planners around. Mahalo to Tamara and Haiku Gardens for a wonderful experience.

Haiku Gardens was my dream wedding venue! For a bride, it's been said that you just know when you found the right dress because you get that "feeling". Well, I had this "feeling" when I went for a visit to Haiku Gardens at the request of my father. It was my DREAM VENUE and I could not see myself getting married in any other location. The beautiful gardens and views of the Koolau Mountains made this location A++++++ for a local girl like myself.

Tamara our wedding planner was the icing on the cake! She made our experience planning a wedding a wonderful one! It was because of her that I did not turn into a Bridezilla and I could concentrate on enjoying this process, as well as, my wedding day.

The customer service was outstanding by all involved from the wait staff, to management and of course our coordinator Tamara! The food was on point from the pupus to the main meal. The Mac nut crusted chicken was awesome! Although I would love to keep this my secret place I know I cannot. I would highly recommend Haiku Gardens and Haleiwa Joes for a wedding, anniversary, vow renewal, etc.
