Siesta Alegre was such a beautiful and enchanting venue and felt like it came straight from a fairytale. We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else other place. The staff was friendly and able to answer all our questions and the grounds themselves were amazing. The accommodations were wonderful and we look forward to staying here again in the future. We highly recommend this venue to anyone considering it. -

We didn't have a single issue the entire day or ever any issues between what we wanted or with our chosen vendors. I highly recommend Hazel Echevarria as a wedding planner! -

This venue is absolutely gorgeous! From the minute we stepped into the Hacienda it was breathtaking! The greenery and nature it is surrounded by there's no question about it for a perfect venue for your big day! Rain or shine it still delivers! We did have rain in our wedding and it did not take away from the beauty. There is many different layouts you can do to have your guest covered if it rains and they always have the option to dance in the rain like my guests did! It just made it that much dreamier! Book now it is one of a kind venue! -

Pure Magic
Stop looking for any other venue in Puerto Rico if you are lucky enough to be reading this review. Hacienda Siesta Alegre is the most beautiful venue possible. Your guests will be stunned by the natural beauty and the experience of dancing under the sky in this gorgeous rainforest location. The staff were all beyond friendly and accommodating and the vendor list is phenomenal. Because this is not a traditional wedding venue, know it's a bit rustic (and may be a little challenging for older/handicapped guests to navigate). Otherwise, it is beyond perfect! -

i fell in love with Hacienda siesta alegre via instagram. when we finally went to visit there was no doubt in our minds that this is where we wanted to get married. the location was great and the wedding packages were reasonably priced. the staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. the bar tenders were also amazing! i can’t stop thinking about our venue and how special is was!!! -

Like most of you considering this location for your wedding, I was absolutely blown away by all of the photos and videos I had seen online. The venue itself is so stunning and will leave you, your family, and guests in absolute awe.
The Hacienda and it’s staff went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was perfect. All of the staff and employees were so incredibly kind and helpful, our wedding day was an absolute dream. The venue is gorgeous, from head to toe. All of our guests kept saying how this was the most beautiful place they had ever been to- and my husband and I agree. I would recommend this place to anyone considering doing a destination wedding like we did (this was our first time in Puerto Rico) the staff was so communicative during the entire process and made sure to help us make our wedding day go so smoothly. Such an incredible experience and truly such a special place. Hacienda Siesta Alegre, my husband and I thank you for the most magical wedding day! -

Even through pictures alone, it is evident that this place is absolutely stunning. As someone who loves being outdoors and has a special affinity for horses, I was captivated by the beauty and serenity that this venue offered. Everything I could have wished for was included in this picturesque location.
Unfortunately, due to heavy rain, I wasn't able to experience everything that is typically offered at this venue. However, despite the unexpected weather, we were still able to create a truly unique and unforgettable experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our night was nothing short of amazing.
One of the standout aspects of this place is its natural beauty. It doesn't require much additional decor to enhance its charm and elegance. The surroundings themselves create a magical ambiance that is difficult to replicate.
Not only does this venue offer stunning beauty and exceptional amenities, but it also provides convenient accommodations for the bridal party. With spacious rooms available, seven bridesmaid and I, along with three hair and makeup stylists, had a seamless and stress-free preparation process. Additionally, the venue provided a delicious breakfast for us, ensuring everyone started the day energized and well-fed. Close family members who stayed at the hacienda also enjoyed the accommodations and joined in a special breakfast the following day, creating cherished moments and lasting memories. This venue's attention to detail and exceptional hospitality truly enhance our overall wedding experience.
The open bar provided by this venue was extraordinary. The variety of cocktails and drinks available were a hit among our guests. They were thrilled to have such a wide range of options to choose from, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening.
Despite the weather limitations, our night at this venue was absolutely fantastic. The staff's dedication to making our experience memorable, combined with the stunning location and the delightful open bar, made it a night to remember.
I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a beautiful outdoor venue and a top-notch experience. Even with the weather obstacles, they managed to create an unforgettable evening that exceeded our expectations. -

Look - if you can have your wedding here, you simply have to do it. It's the most beautiful venue in all of Puerto Rico. Their staff was SO nice and accommodating. Every guest couldn't stop saying it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. I'd also add that they operate with level of confidence because they always deliver. Your'e in good (and magical) hands here.
Side notes - Hire the coffee vendor, consider paella and appetizers (we used Jose Enrique) and not doing a seating plan. It will save you stress. No need to go crazy on flowers or decorations at this majestic place! Also our photographer Lover's Collective was an absolute genius and the DJ Big Joel was a rockstar. Consider the Cannon Club in Old San Juan for a rehearsal dinner. -

Loved the venue
Probably one of our favorite parts of our wedding day was the venue, it is absolutely beautiful. Every single person mentioned how pretty it was. We didn't do a ton of decorating, just the tables and truthfully I don't think this venue needs much to look great. Totally worth it! -

Norma was wonderful to work with. She was very kind and responsive. Planning this wedding from a far was made very easy because of her professionalism. She made sure every detail was perfect at the venue. This venue is jaw-dropping. Being that we had our wedding in December they had other areas of the venue decorated for Christmas, which looked amazing. My guests loved the venue, the venue staff and all amenities the venue had. The bartender was kind and very attentive.
Our night ended with the rainforest rain and it was magical.
I highly recommend this wedding venue in Puerto Rico. -

I don’t know where to start but AMAZING! From my introduction to Norma and HSA to the day of our wedding the staff and the venue exceeded our expectations. The pictures we saw did not do the venue justice, and though we visited the property a few months before our wedding it was during the day, the real magic happens after the sun goes down. Very little decor is need as the event space is beautiful all on its own. We got more for our money as we opted to have our wedding on a Monday which meant we got a complimentary night for 4 rooms on the property the night of the wedding, May seem inconsequential but we were exhausted the night of the wedding and it was great not to have to drive back into San Juan. If you are looking for a venue that truly showcases the wonder that is Rio Grande, El Yunque, and Puerto Rico, look no further! -

I can’t see hunk of a more magical and romantic venue for a wedding in Puerto Rico. This is no hotel ballroom. I took a group of 60 people from the USA for a destination wedding and every single one was in awe at the beauty this property offers. The owners are welcoming and so personable. It was like being in your own family’s home. Our point of contact was Francesca and I could not have asked for a more personable, kind, attentive, accommodating representative to deal with. There was nothing that we asked that Francesca couldn’t deliver. She made sure nothing fell through the cracks and she delivered beyond our expectations. We will definitely be back to this magical place. -

I fell in Love with Hacienda Siesta Alegre from looking a pictures, but to see this venue in person: absolutely beautiful and breath taking and filled with so many incredible decorations natural flowers and foliage. We had our Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception here for our Destination Wedding.
All our guests were amazed with the venue, both local amd nonlocal to Puerto Rico.
I should note that I've been trying to plan a wedding since 2016, and after 2 postponements, I still always went back to Hacienda as the venue due it's natural beauty.
All the ladies, Norma, Carman, and Francesca are so awesome to work with when planning at Hacienda Siesta Alegre. Norma was my main contact for the wedding, and OMG she is super amazing and filled with so much passion and love, and made sure we were taken care of the whole week we were there.
The breakfast was DELICIOUS!!!! The ladies who made breakfast were awesome!The owners were Linda and Gregg were also so welcoming and very nice. They even were our audience when we practiced for our first dance. Super sweet.
I cannot say enough great things about Hacienda Siesta Alegre! The venue is stunning, the service is incredible, and all our guests were in love with this venue!!!

Can not express in words how enchanting this venue is! Our wedding night was so magical due to the incredible background with natural foliage and views! We are so thankful to finally celebrate our wedding after multiple postponements due to the pandemic. The HSA abided by CDC and local guidelines to create an enjoyable environment to keep our small group of guests safe and healthy. We are so thankful!! With all the confusion and uncertainties with restrictions on the island- Camila reassured us all along the way. I'm sure we were annoying with the frequency of our emails leading up to the wedding-but Camila was patient with us and responded quickly-addressing all of our concerns.
I'm glad we went through with everything, because our wedding day was absolutely perfect. The venue was gorgeous, my guests were so incredibly impressed. I asked my family (locals) if they'd ever been to the venue before and they hadn't. Everyone was amazed with the natural breathtaking beauty of the property and the views.
We had an open bar and the bartender was great! We also rented all the rooms not included in the package- so we had the entire place to ourselves after the reception. We hung out at the pool until we went to bed leaving a mess behind-sorry :-( but when we woke up the next day all of stuff was arranged neatly for us. They also prepared the most gorgeous breakfast display I'd ever seen. It was delicious too.
You guys were incredible- every single staff member there acts as if the Hacienda is their own. The amount of love, attention, and detail you guys provide is pretty amazing. We were all very impressed through and through.

We were struggling to plan an entire destination wedding in just a weekend of visiting the island. HSA was the first venue we visited and just by a look that my now wife gave me, I knew this was it. Camila, was our contact and so incredibly patient with everything going on. She stood by and worked with us through navigating COVID and still having a safe wedding for our guests. The venue was everything we dreamed of and more. After all was said and done, we walked away knowing there was no other place we could imagine saying I do. -

We feel lucky to have found Hacienda Siesta Alegre and to have had our wedding here. It is truly a magical place and makes the wedding day extra special. From the moment we got there to check it out we knew it was our venue!! We worked with Camila and our wedding planner, Karisha Marie Events, to set everything up. It was easy to communicate with Camila and she was able to answer all our questions. Camila and the staff are pretty laid back and to me that was a good thing, however with any question or special request that we had they were very attentive. Our wedding was a mix of local guests and guest traveling from all over and everyone LOVED the venue. We really like how it feels very intimate but spacious and how you have the whole place to yourself, it is just beautiful!! Additionally, my dad is handicapped, and the facilities and setup were really good for him. Highly recommended for a truly memorable and unique wedding! -

We got married last week in Hacienda Siesta Alegre. I had only seen the Hacienda in pictures, but heard so much about it. The place is INCREDIBLE. We were lucky to have a perfectly sunny day, but even if it would have rained, they have several beautiful areas with roof, where you still get the outside feel, but would not get wet.
We also stayed 2 night in the Hacienda (before and the day of the wedding). The rooms are all so beautiful. They have so much character. And the included breakfast.... YUUUMM!!! I actually found this really nice, because sometimes people plan a brunch the day after the wedding and for that you usually have to plan and pay extra for a restaurant or hotel to do it... it is almost like another small event you have to plan. But since my family and closest friends all stayed in the Hacienda and the breakfast was included, we got a two for one ! our beautiful wedding + the breakfast included ;) No need to plan and pay for an extra brunch.
Going back to the wedding itself... the team in Hacienda Siesta Alegre were so attentive. They answered our e-mails quickly and were able to work with us and our big group. They also recommended most of our wedding vendors, which ended up being a DREAM TEAM!
Norma from HSA was always so nice. Even my husband noticed how nice and attentive she was with everyone in our group.
I has been a pleasure working with Norma and her team. I would absolutely recommend HSA it is MAGICAL!! -

Everything we wanted! A magical day!
HSA was a dream come true! We decided on the Hacienda as our wedding reception, the first time we visited.
Camila was exceptional. She guided us through every step of the process. Thank you so much for going the extra mile and making our swing set possible. The staff was accommodating and attentive The guests were left in awe with the atmosphere and the beauty of the Hacienda.
Greg and Linda were the most welcoming. And the breakfast, oh my god, the breakfast was so so good. No words.
We are so thankful we found this place. It just made our day a magical one.

Having our wedding at Hacienda Siesta Alegre was so magical and dreamy. It was better than we could have imagined! We lucked out with perfect weather, too. HSA is already decorated with the personal decorations of the owners and it is in the middle of the rainforest, so there is no need for extravagant flowers or decorations. The strung lights across the dance floor and the water fountain make such an enchanting reception. We wanted an outdoor wedding, so the location was perfect, being surrounded by nature. You could hear roosters crowing and horses neighing far off in the background during our ceremony, adding more to the magic. We have received so many compliments from our guests and those that saw our wedding photos saying that it was the most beautiful wedding they have seen. Our package included 4 complimentary rooms for the night and brunch the next morning (which was amazing and so fresh!). Book HSA place early! We booked in August 2018 and our wedding was in December 2019. There were only 2 Sundays left and all of the Saturdays were booked for December. The whole hotel is so enchanting, and we cannot wait to go back! We are super thankful for Carmen, who was super helpful on coordinating everything and was always quick to respond. Thank you for the most amazing day of our lives! -

Hacienda Siesta Alegre is where dreams come true. This is not your cookie cutter wedding venue. This is paradise in Puerto Rico.
VENUE: We flew out early to see this and make sure it was the place for us. We immediately fell in love with the location. Up the mountain, set in the El Yunque rainforest. Pictures do not do this place justice. There is a certain type of magic in the air here. Months later and people are still talking about the beauty that is HSA. The location is easy to find. My wife chose to rent all the rooms available on site and this made things very easy. We arrived on Wednesday and stood till Saturday morning, along with our wedding party. Each morning we were greatly with a great fresh local breakfast with the best coffee around. The venue provides a vendor list to choose from and we chose not to get a wedding planner as my wife really wanted to be involved in how the wedding looked and turned out. Thats where Camila came in.
VENUE COORDINATOR: Camila was our venue coordinator. With choosing not to have a wedding coordinator, Camila played a huge role in our big day. In fact, , I feel like we drove the poor girl crazy. She answered tons of emails, always was quick to respond and offer suggestions. She truly worked so hard to make sure our day was special, on task, and done with care and attention. While visiting before the wedding she even gave us great suggestions of things to do with our children that really turned out great. Camila, we cannot thank you enough for helping us and making us feel heard, valued and making sure that our wedding turned out to be the best. There were even some things I forgot to complete and Camila took the heat for me. A true professional, who never once made us feel as if we were a bother. Camila is an asset to HSA!
Thank you HSA for a truly breathtaking wedding and stay. We will cherish these memories forever.

Hacienda Siesta Alegre exceeded our expectations for our destination wedding!! As soon as we saw pictures of this venue, we knew this is where we wanted to get married. In person, it was even more amazing. The views from every spot throughout the property are breathtaking and makes you feel like you are in your own paradise. We worked with Camila who was helpful throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, everything went exactly as planned! There are so many different areas throughout the property that you can really make it your own. There is a room for the bride to get ready in the day of the wedding and there are also multiple guest rooms on the property, which we got so the bridal party could spend the night of the wedding. This allowed the party to continue even after the reception was over and was followed by a goodbye breakfast the next morning which was fantastic!!
I cannot say enough good things about this venue and feel so fortunate to have gotten married here. The memories we made will last forever and I wish I could do the day over and over again :)

Hacienda Siesta Alegre is a breathtaking venue! It's as if I was out of a magazine or movie! Not only is the venue gorgeous the staff was awesome. Norma was super helpful every step of the way. It started raining in the middle of the day during the setup and right up until our ceremony and the staff did an incredible job in clearing up the space and drying the area making sure the reception wasn't a wet mess. The staff was amazing and Norma was the one in charge of our wedding. I can’t thank Norma enough for absolutely everything she did for us. Such a great experience
Not only is the venue absolutely breathtaking, they are so easy to work with. Camila was fantastic:) they were so nice and accommodating and ensured there was no added stress. They were laid back and not so rigid as other venues/vendors. Everyone who attended the wedding said it was the dreamiest wedding they’ve ever attended. I would 100000 recommend!! -

La Hacienda is a place that offers flexibility within an already surreal and magical environment. Through hiring this venue, you can DIY your whole wedding to whatever is meaningful to you.
Norma is a joy to work with. She helps coordinate the logistics of your day. Most importantly, having a wedding planner that is familiar with the site is pivotal to being stress free- Milly Centeno could not have done a better job if tried. She made everything meaningful to us and handled all details.
La Hacienda offers 10 rooms— we booked these for our wedding party which was really magical. We woke up with authentic Caribbean breakfast each morning. The balconies, the outdoor bathtubs and hammocks, the look, everything made us feel like we were living in the most beautiful jungle.
To get married in a site like this, was something memorable and unforgettable to our guests. The weather held up— you could see El Yunque as the background to our ceremony- breathtaking! To follow, the decor, flowers, natural foliage and hanging lights made everything feel rustic and perfect.
This is the place to get married whether you are a local to Puerto Rico or looking for a destination wedding. I would not change anything. La Hacienda has a special place in my heart forever. -

We were thrilled to have our wedding at Hacienda Siesta Alegre. HSA is truly a magical place. We explored several Haciendas and nothing compared. The reception courtyard or as they call it "house without walls" is nestled at the top of a hill with 360 views of lush tropical landscape. The courtyard explores Spanish colonial themes with colorful tiles, dark wooden beams, and beautiful arched doorways. Beautifully stained wooden tables, an old chandelier and some southwestern themed decor provide a laid back boho rustic vibe. There is beautiful floral and greenery growing from all corners. The ceremony is unimaginable with a back drop of the El Yunque rainforest. Our wedding day, a rainbow settled beyond our wedding arbor. What a beautiful experience to be married at HSA. The staff are amazing and extremely accommodating. We absolutely enjoyed our experience and would recommend to anyone. -

The photos don't even do it justice, its so beautiful. Norma was so accommodating and helpful throughout the process. Always quick to respond to my emails and was so kind when we got to meet her. I couldn't imagine a more perfect venue. My bridesmaids and I showed up in the morning and was able to get ready in their bridal room and they brought us whatever we needed. The bar service and staff were so wonderful as well. I can't express how happy I am that we chose to get married at The Hacienda! I hope we are able to visit again someday.

Rebecca Sent on 06/03/2018My wife and I were married here last weekend and I can't say enough about what an amazing experience Norma and her team provided us. First, the location itself is spectacular with breathtaking views, enchanting lighting, and gorgeous architecture that creates an unforgettable ambience. We've never been anywhere like it - it's like you're transported to another world and time. Guests asked us how in the world we found this incredible place, and some are even planning a trip back so they can stay at the Inn. There just aren't words to describe the feel there, especially under the lights at nighttime. And although the pictures that we've received so far are absolutely stunning, even they can't do it justice.
Second, Norma and her team of professionals were so helpful, accommodating, and easy going, making some last minute requests seamless. Her energy and warmth and love are infectious, making us and all our guests feel so welcome and appreciated. The bartender was the hit of the night, remembering people's drink orders and always taking care of both brides the minute we got near the bar. Total pro (and easy on the eyes - at least 6 of our guests were fighting over who would get to give him their number). :)
We just felt so cared for and taken care of at every moment and so incredibly grateful to have this venue as the setting for our wedding. We had to reschedule our original date from October due to the Hurricane, and I can't think of a better decision or imagine getting married anywhere else. Thank you, Norma and all, for making our day so unforgettable! -
Michelle Sent on 03/25/2018This weekend was my first wedding anniversary. We were fortunate enough to celebrate both our amazing wedding AND this anniversary weekend at Hacienda Siesta Alegre. Somehow I guess I didn't write a review last year after the wedding, so I wanted to take this opportunity to say what an absolutely magical place this is! Pictures barely do it justice. Our wedding was an absolute dream. The team at HSA was so helpful, responsive and professional. Even more remarkably, they truly were excited for my husband and I as we embarked on this new adventure in our lives. I feel like it would be easy to get used to weddings when you do them all the time, but I truly felt like the team there was invested in our day and truly happy for us. Huge shout outs to Norma, Luis, Greg & Linda, and to all the rest of the team that made our day so special. A year later and we are still talking about what a perfect day that was!
When we returned to the B&B part of the Hacienda this weekend we were very happy to see how beautiful everything looked. Flowers are in full bloom everywhere and every corner is bursting with green (and pink)! I can tell any future brides out there that Siesta Alegre is every bit as beautiful today (post Hurricane Maria) as it was on my wedding day last year (pre Maria). Anyone who is considering this venue for your big day, you should not have any reservations about this choice. I promise you will not be disappointed! Thank you HSA!!!

They work with the most outstanding vendors and delivery the absolute best quality. Due to Hurricane Maria our initial venue was unable to accommodate the wedding we had planned in Feb but with just three months notice Hacienda Siesta Alegre was able to deliver the wedding of our dreams which turned out to be even better then we ever imagined! Their marketing manager Norma who is full of energy and always greeting you with a smile and the owners Greg and Linda are the absolute best they make you feel welcomed as soon as you step onto their premises! I can’t express enough how beautiful this location is. A true Eden on earth! Thank you Hacienda Siesta Alegre for making our wedding such a memorable event! -

Norma was great with communication and helping you plan everything! The staff of the hacienda is also amazing and very helpful! With hurricane Maria passing through PR we were doubtful if we should do our wedding there. But everyone assured us that our day will be perfect and they definitely kept their promise! We had no complaints! Awesome venue and staff! Definitely recommend! Thank you everyone!

Our guests were just so amazed at how beautiful the place is and the ceremony pictures turned out amazing by overlooking the rainforest. The cocktail hour was very homey with the living room setting by the bar, and the reception was out of this world with rustic chairs and tables, twinkle lights, and just amazing details that are already there at the venue. You DON'T need a decorator with this venue! They have everything you could possible need right there.
I can honestly say I wouldn't have been able to pull off such an amazing wedding with endless memories and such great detail without Norma. She was always available to answer questions whether about the venue or to bounce off ideas and on the day of the wedding we ran into a pickle with the decorator and she kept everyone calm and found solutions for us.
Our favorite part as bride and groom was staying at the bridal suite at the end of the night away from everyone and amidst greenery, rustic furniture, and so much natural light in the morning. The room was actually included by reserving the venue and so was breakfast! Their breakfast in the morning was dreamy complete with key lime pie, eggs, potatoes, bacon, fresh bread, juice and coffee. There is no way you won't like Hacienda Siesta Alegre. I got so many compliments on the venue and how I was able to find such a gem. -

Sue Sent on 11/03/2016Just the two of us travelled from England to this place which made our elopement ultra special the Haicenda is an amazing guest house with only a few rooms we can't describe how secluded and unique this beautiful exclusive place was!
We were in awe as soon as we arrived We stayed in the Treehouse Ohh!!MG what a room....Bed was so comfy, great air conditioning & 2 Huge baths on the outside balcony facing the El yunque rain forest.
We wished we had stayed for longer We will defo be visiting again on our first anniversary.
It was the most beautiful setting and not to mention the old world charm of the architecture and the beautiful landscaping...this place has SO much character and makes a picture perfect backdrop for sure! The lighting, the ambiance, the charm, the outdoors, the sounds of the roosters as you say I do (seriously lol!!!) It was THE BEST! We had a beautiful day for it as well, the sun was shining and the sky was blue.
This is the place to have your wedding if you want it to be a conversation for the rest of your life.
is is truly a magical place! and a wonderful start to our new life together.
