We had our wedding here on 9/21/12. My wedding planner worked with the on-site planner, Heather Mills, to finalize all of the details. The winery was accommodating of all of our requests and was picturesque for an intimate wedding of 30 people. Our wedding was on the vineyard side overlooking the valley, guests walked through a wine cave to an expansive gorgeous view. The cocktail reception was also on the vineyard or back side of the wine cave mountain. There is no electricity over here - for our music we used an acoustic guitarist. For the reception, guests walked back through the wine cave to the open courtyard with our tables, dj, etc. We did not need to bring in lighting or a dance floor and the view was gorgeous! The lake that supplies water to the vines was the backdrop (along with the view of the valley) for the reception and sunset. We danced the night away until 10 p.m. when we had to end the party due to the Sonoma sound ordinance. My only complaints were the bathrooms were not clearly marked and we wish we had more time at the venue but had to have the wedding at 5 p.m. due to the tasting room hours on Friday. Fabulous staff, great location, beautiful setting and scenery and overall unbelieveable experience! I recommend it highly! Don't be nervous about the lack of information or reviews out there - the winery has only recently started hosting more weddings on site. The venue is a hidden gem and entirely worth the information digging to have your special and unfortgettable event here!
