The best!!!
We are so, so happy with our decision to have Guilty Pleasure perform at our wedding. We listened to a lot of bands before contacting them and their sound, even on a recording, drew us in right away. All of the logistics were easy to set up with their manager/drummer Chris, who was super responsive and knowledgeable. They've been together for a long time and you can tell, they can cover all parts of a wedding from instrumentals for the ceremony and cocktail hour to a full on band for the reception. We were looking for a specific vibe with a lot of R&B and they absolutely nailed it. They even hunted down some harder to find recordings I requested for their breaks and learned a few songs for us. Everyone commented on how amazing they were and we completely agree, we couldn't have asked for more. If you've gotten this far, just hire them, you won't be sorry! -

Professional, high-energy musicians. HIGHLY recommend.
We immediately booked Guilty Pleasure Band after hearing them play at a local dinner venue. During the entire process, they were professional and reliable. The band manager, Chris, was in contact with us 3 times before our wedding day to make sure everything went off flawlessly. The band was even able to honor our special request for us to sing a duet together, and for the groom to sing "Shout" with the band!
The band played a set during dinner, two dance sets, and also had music set-up to play when the band was not playing live. When I say that every single person of the 140 guests there danced…I mean it. Our friends danced. Our introvert friends danced. Grandma danced. They billed themselves as a party band and OH YEAH were they a party band. All of the musicians were top notch (especially the saxophonist! WOW. Our many musician friends and family could not get enough!). To top it off, the members of the band were incredibly kind, and we had a lovely time chatting with them during one of their breaks. Two weeks after our wedding and we still are hearing rave reviews from our friends and family. I know everyone says they had the "best wedding ever".....but Guilty Pleasure Band really did make ours the best! -

Guilty Pleasure made our wedding!!
We had a great wedding, but having Guilty Pleasure really topped it off!! Truth be told, we did all of our band research online, risky we know! but... after watching video clips upon video clips of various bands, we came across Guilty Pleasure and it was an obvious choice for us. They are just as great, even better, live. From the get-go, Chris was readily available and easy to talk to. He worked with us to plan out every detail patiently and delivered to perfection. The band learned two songs for us, including our first dance, had seamless transitions and really kept the flow of the night for us. They were well priced, and they had guests of ALL ages dancing ALL night - which was so fulfilling for us. The band members are classy, fun, and blend well together. Without hesitation, we recommend Guilty Pleasure for your wedding or other party! -

Guilty pleasure was the perfect choice for our wedding night. They were super easy to work with and really helped me through the whole process to making my night perfect. The playlist they had was perfect we got so many compliments on them !! -

Hiring this band for our wedding was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. We didn't have a lavish budget (we were paying for it ourselves), but live music has always been important to us, and while we knew it would be a bit of a splurge, we attempted to find a band that could fit in our budget. Other bands we saw online were going for $8k+. No way, not for us. We came across Guilty Pleasure on Wedding Wire, and went to their website to watch some videos. "Wow, they're pretty good," we thought. "But how good are they live?" They had an upcoming gig at a nearby restaurant, so we decided to check them out before contacting them. Within the first measure, we were hooked. Their energy, their musicality, their ability to get the crowd dancing -- we had to hire this band!
I got in touch with Chris Botelho, the manager, who instantly proved how capable, enthusiastic and affordable Guilty Pleasure is. He was proactive, thorough and organized, and checked in with us several times in the weeks leading up to the wedding to go over schedule, song selections, etc.
Almost two months after our wedding, we are still getting compliments about how great this band was. Some of our friends who have been to dozens of weddings (some of which had those $8k+ bands) say it was the best wedding band they've heard. Our guests were dancing the whole night, and Guilty Pleasure played the PERFECT assortment, from Motown to Bruno Mars. There was something for everyone. I also paid to have three of the band members play at cocktail hour before the reception, and even the "background music" got rave reviews. Chris and some of the band members came up to me at the end of the reception to congratulate me and thank me for having them. It was such a sincere and genuine gesture, and it goes to show that they are not only talented, but also just great people. I'm so glad Guilty Pleasure plays local gigs, because I can't wait to hear them again! -

Guilty Pleasure Band was amazing. They learned three songs for us and were very responsive to our vision. They were easy to talk to and make arrangements with. We were planning our wedding from across the country so we had a three hour time difference but they are always flexible and understanding. Their music was incredible. They have such a great group, everyone did an amazing job. Our guests danced the whole evening, they raved about the music! They assessed the crowd and played songs accordingly. They were a great band and a wonderful vendor to work with. We would highly recommend them! -

If you want your guests to dance all night, HIRE GUILTY PLEASURE!!! We we so happy with our choice to have Guilty Pleasure as the band for our wedding. The band contact (Chris) was great during all aspects of the the planning. He was easy going, had great suggestions and was always super quick to answer any questions we had. GP's vast catalogue included all the songs we wanted played and they even learned a custom intro song / and intro for us!! The band's sets were amazing, and they were able to adjust on the fly to the people on the dance floors response. Our guests danced all night and even cheered for "One More Song" when the wedding reception was ending (which of course they accommodated). They were a key part to the success of the evening. Our guests can't stop talking about how great it was to have this band. We would highly recommend Guilty Pleasure for your wedding.... it was worth every penny!!!! -

WE ADORED GUILTY PLEASURE. Confession: this was our second choice band. But after the other band pulled out on us, and having seen them at another wedding, we totally lucked out!
The singers were phenomenal. They mix of music was great. They learned our last dance for us, and it was a moment I won't soon forget.
Seriously, the dance floor was never empty. They even put up with my drunk friend who kept trying to grab the mic! Thank you Guilty Pleasure, for making our wedding such a dance-packed-awesome-time. -

Guilty Pleasure was a fantastic band for our wedding! We hired them to play at our wedding after only hearing some CDs they sent us. We were planning our wedding from the other side of the country, and we were a little worried that the band would be different in person than we had expected. Then they started playing at our reception.....
People danced from the time they got to the reception until it ended. They were FANTASTIC!! Everyone enjoyed them b/c they were able to reach out to guests aged 4 to 90. Their voices ROCKED! I highly recommend this band. I would choose them all over again!! -

Guilty Pleasure was perfect for our wedding. They were incredibly helpful in the planning when they helped my fiance choose our final music for certain parts of the reception when we couldn't decide and they let us customize our night to fit our vision. They had a great array of music that kept everyone from my boss to my aunt to our best friends happy and dancing all night. One member even provided our ceremony music and two of their members provided cocktail music, which made our day that much more special. -

This band was great, we saw them at a showcase and booked right away! They even extended their contracted offer and played during dinner for us. It was very sweet and really made our event special. Saxaphone, drums and singers were amazing! -
