We had both our ceremony and reception at Guilford Hall in May 2025. It was perhaps the best wedding-related decision we made and we are so glad we did! The staff are so kind, accommodating and responsive. Even the head chef and the bartenders made special accommodations to our very particular menu and drink selections. The attention to detail and incorporation of our every preference cannot be understated. The Events Coordination team went above and beyond to make our vision a reality.
The biergarten was perfect for our ceremony (although if you are having more than 110 guests, it might be a tight squeeze). The Cigar Room makes for a *stunning* photo backdrop and the patio was perfect for a fun, laid back cocktail hour where our guests could mingle around, sit at picnic tables and take pictures. There are so many great spots for photos we didn't need to import a cheesy photo wall or selfie station.
But the real highlight is the reception in the Crown Hall. It was the perfect size for our party. We had a DJ, but if you want to bring a band into that room, you should consider having fewer than 10-12 tables otherwise there just simply isn’t room. The food and beverage selection for the dinner was top-notch, and if they don’t have something you want, they will order it. My husband wanted a very curated bourbon selection, and they managed to get every bottle he wanted (for an additional price).
Our only critique is that we noticed long lines for the bar during cocktail hour and reception. So if you have big drinkers in your crowd, ask for an additional bar set up somewhere to expedite beverage delivery.
I also highly recommend paying extra for a lighting company to put fabric and lights up otherwise the main focal point wall is just a blank grey square. We went with 27 Studios – one of many preferred vendors of Guilford that gave us a discount because they do so much business at that venue. We also had our DJ set up pin lights around the room for additional ambiance once the sun set (also an added fee).
If industrial chic is your vibe, then BOOK THIS VENUE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. It’s so customizable and you can go all out or keep it simple or anywhere in between. Either way, these people work hard to make sure you have the best day ever!!!

We cannot recommend Guilford Hall enough as a wedding venue. From the moment we first toured the space, we knew it was the perfect fit for us. The combination of the industrial aesthetic with bourbon room details set the stage for an unforgettable celebration.
We held our ceremony in the Beer Garden, hosted cocktail hour in the Beer Garden using the Cocktail Room and Cigar Lounge, and had our reception upstairs in the Crown Room. The flow of the event worked perfectly, and the pictures we captured in those spaces are absolutely incredible. The venue fit our style in every way.
We chose a buffet for dinner, and it was amazing. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved the food! Especially the crab cakes. Our signature drinks were made just how we wanted them, and the bar service was top-notch. A huge shoutout to Chef Mauricio and the entire kitchen staff for going above and beyond to help us curate the perfect menu and flawlessly serving 115 guests. The food was incredible and never stopped coming out, our guests couldn’t stop raving.
We also want to give special recognition to Dani, the Events Planner at Guilford Hall. Dani made us feel incredibly comfortable from start to finish. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure everything went smoothly and that we felt at ease throughout the process. Her attention to detail was unmatched, and without her, we would have been all over the place. She is absolutely incredible, if you have the chance to work with her, take it. She went above and beyond every step of the way to make our day perfect.
Working with the entire Guilford Hall team was an absolute breeze. Every staff member was professional, accommodating, and dedicated to making our vision come to life. We couldn’t be more grateful for everything they did to help us host the wedding and reception of our dreams.
If you’re looking for a venue that delivers unforgettable memories, exceptional service, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, look no further than Guilford Hall. -

Guilford was the perfect venue for our wedding. The beer garden and whiskey room were an awesome setup for cocktail hour, and the upstairs space worked beautifully for both our ceremony and reception—even after we had to pivot to our indoor rain plan. Honestly, we loved the indoor ceremony just as much as the outdoor one we originally imagined. The food was a huge highlight—delicious, with tons of variety thanks to the station setup. The chef worked with us on the menu and nailed it on the big day. Drinks were excellent (it’s a brewery, after all), and our custom cocktails/mocktail were a hit. Special shoutout to Nicole, the venue coordinator, who made planning from across the country so much easier. The nearby Airbnbs were super convenient for getting ready. Everything ran so smoothly, it felt like magic. Truly an incredible team and space. -

Deciding to choose Guilford Hall Brewing as the location for my wedding was one of the best decisions I ever made. I wanted a space that wasn't your stereotypical stuffy vibe. The exposed brick, hardwood floors, and wrought iron was the exact esthetic I was looking for. It was the perfect mix of masculine that I planned to soften with romantic touches and greenery. The staff was beyond accommodating for everything I asked of them. We had a tasting before settling on the perfect menu for our hors d'oeuvres and sit-down dinner. We picked our favorite cocktails for our His & Her drinks as well. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour outside in the beer garden and cigar lounge. It was the perfect mix of sexy and rustic. Everyone complimented me on the venue. I had a companion who was by my side every step of the way. The minute I finished my vows and walked down the aisle for cocktail hour, he was holding a drink for my husband and I. He doted on me throughout the evening, making sure I had food or a beverage. He even helped me take off my heels when I couldn't take it anymore. He was a godsend. I can't say enough good things about my experience here. Just look at the pictures. It was gorgeous. Best Venue Ever!!!!
We love Guilford!!! What a perfect venue to get married at. Staff was literally incredible. So attentive, responsive, and accommodating. Wedding planning can be so daunting, but Guilford made everything so smooth. Food was spectacular and drinks were amazing! Everyone in our wedding had such an amazing time. We are so very glad to have partnered with the Guilford Hall team for our wedding reception! From the moment we first walked in to tour until the last guest departed, we felt very welcomed and and at home. The upstairs event space was the perfect size to gather, party, and dance for our 100 guests and a 15 piece band. We loved the inherent beauty of the building, Bier Garten, and event space, that we had minimal decorations. Nicole, the Events Director, was very responsive in answering our many questions, and she allowed us to be very flexible. We were even able to work with Chef Ryan to create a Filipino menu for our guests, and custom cocktails. This was truly a night we will never forget thanks to the Guilford Hall team! -

We got married at Guilford on 11/11/23. Everything from our first visit/tour to the wedding day was an amazing, easy experience. What made us choose Guilford was the location and the price - we wanted a city wedding without paying 20k just to rent the place. Guilford’s food is so amazing and we just absolutely loved the space. Nicole and Genesis were both great to work with. Nicole has many years of wedding experience she brings to Guilford. I also paid for a day-of coordinator from the venue which I recommend! They were flexible with my vendors and seriously took care of practically everything. We got so many compliments on the venue and would get married here again in a heart beat! Thank you Guilford!! Absolutely amazing!!
Guilford Hall was an amazing place to get married. From start to finish they were responsive, helpful, and worked with us to make our day more than what we hoped for. Nicole and Lindsey were so helpful coordinating everything leading up to the day, from advising us on vendors, and helping us understand what works/makes sense in the space. Ryan was willing to work with us to create the menu that fit what we wanted. Day of, we had Genesis as a coordinator, who couldn't have made our lives easier and kept us all on time. Special thanks to Jose who showed up mid dance party to make sure we were well hydrated. Everything leading up to the day was low stress and well organized. Could not recommend enough. -

Perfect Venue!
We 100/10 recommend Guilford for a wedding venue or any other event. It is a unique, gorgeous space, the staff is awesome yet professional, and the food and beers are amazing!
From a planning perspective, the event team (lead by Nicole) is incredible! They lay out the various options and packages to best fit your wedding vision. They are super flexible with the spaces you want to use, number of guests, food/apps options, etc. They reach out on tastings, floor plans, scheduling walk throughs, and help build a timeline. You truly do not need a wedding planner - the guilford team is all over the planning and execution of the event.
The food!!! Chef Ryan and the entire team went above and beyond. He attended our tasting, got our feedback, made tweaks, etc. Though there are standard packages, the team made several adjustments to fit our taste. Every guest we talked to complimented the food.
Lastly the space itself is so gorgeous. There are so many different spots to use. We had our ceremony in the courtyard, cocktail hour in the whisky room, reception in the event space upstairs, and after party back in the whisky room. Highly recommend extending your event with an after party at Guilford - your guests stick around. The bartenders also brought great energy!
It may seem like a “hidden gem” now, but it won’t be for long. Book it while there is availability!

I cannot recommend Guilford Hall Brewery enough for a wedding venue. We are Baltimore City residents so having a local wedding was very important to us. As soon as we toured the venue we knew it was the perfect location. It is a hidden gem in the city with so much charm! After signing the contract, their staff was incredibly hands-on and very responsive. Nicole was amazing and helped me SO much throughout the wedding planning process. We loved the fact that everything was handled in house (catering, alcohol, chairs, tables, etc) and they also provide local vendors and small businesses for other needs such as transportation, florists, signage, and more. It was seriously the perfect day and I wish I could do it all over again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

We had our wedding reception for about 100 guests here on 3.23.2024. The staff at Guilford hall was organized, efficient, and so kind! Nicole, the event coordinator, was always responsive and enthusiastic. This staff worked so hard to make our day so special. The venue is gorgeous and the food and drinks created were delicious. 10/10 would recommend! -

We held our October 2023 wedding at Guilford Hall and have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about our experience! I truly did not experience any major wedding planning stress, and I attribute a lot of that to the help of their event coordinator Nicole. She was exceptionally knowledgeable about event planning and always responsive, thorough and professional. On the weekend of our wedding, the Guilford Hall crew took care of all the logistics and had the venue set up to look even better than I had hoped! Our guests all commented on the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I can’t imagine picking a better venue. -

Incredible experience from start to finish!
My husband and I were married this past Saturday at Guilford Hall and I couldn't wait any longer to write a raving review! From the very beginning, we knew this was the right choice. Communication with Nicole was prompt, thorough, and SO HELPFUL through the whole process (I am talking about 100+ emails back and forth!) She always answered our questions and always provided me with what we were looking for. I never once doubted that this was the right choice. When it came time to book our tasting, we were excited and truly didn't realize how amazing it would be. This was one of our favorite experiences during the planning process! The food was just as great on our wedding day, if not better!
We had high hopes for our ceremony and reception and the venue and staff exceeded our expectations. Genesis was our day of coordinator and an absolute gem! She ran such a tight ship in the most bubbly, positive way. I knew that if there was a problem, she would fix it before we even knew it was a problem. Every Guilford staff member who worked our wedding was BEYOND attentive, friendly, and professional. Everyone really made it so we didn't need to worry about a single thing and could just enjoy our night. By the end of the night, we felt like they were all part of our family.
When it came to the venue itself, we were in love immediately. This is a space you don't need "do much to" in order to make it beautiful--it already is! Our decor was very minimal and still filled the space perfectly. We received so many compliments on the beauty and character of the space. If you are looking for a space that requires minimal decor, you won't find anything better. It is also a space that will accommodate ALL of your various decor wants and needs and you can truly make it your own. Big or small, this venue was perfect.
If you book your wedding here, you won't regret it for one second. You will have an incredible time from start to finish! -

Dream wedding venue
We got married at Guilford Hall Brewery in May of 2023, and it was the absolute perfect day! Nicole and her team made sure we had everything in order leading up to our day. The chef provided us with a fantastic tasting leading up to the day, and met every single one of our wants and beyond!
We had our ceremony in the courtyard, our cocktail hour in the beer garden, and our reception in the upstairs space. To this day, we are getting so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was, how polite the Guilford team was, and how amazing the food was!
A huge shoutout to the bartenders who danced the night away while pouring some amazing brews!
If we had to do it all over, we would choose Guilford a thousand times and more!!! We are so excited to continue to go to Guilford in the future to grab some beers and relive the most amazing wedding day! -

Perfect is an understatement
It’s hard to find the words to describe how wonderful the team is at Guilford. Nicole, Genesis, Brendon and so many other staff members assisted to make our day absolutely incredible. They made sure my husband and I always had a drink in hand and food in our bellies (so important after a long day!). They were so flexible and patient with me, as there was rain in the forecast day off and we had to pivot plans, but their professionalism made it stressless. If the people aren’t enough, the food and drinks were amazing and we got so many compliments on the venue! It’s such a beautiful spot, you simply cannot go wrong. I truly can’t recommend Guilford enough and we feel so lucky that it was the backdrop for the greatest day of our lives!! -

Amazing Venue, Delicious Food, and Great Staff!
My husband and I hosted our “wedding celebration” here on April 29, 2023 (after getting married in a private ceremony during COVID). We were looking for a fun, yet elegant vibe where we were allowed some flexibility to customize as we wanted all of the sentimental parts of a wedding, to skip some formality, and really to just celebrate with our friends and family.
From our first visit to Guilford Hall to the end of the event, the event coordinator, Nicole, chef Ryan, and their entire team were amazing to work with! Every email, phone call, and question all the along was answered quickly. Everyone was professional, efficient at their jobs, and truly cared to make sure that we had the best day ever.
We received so many compliments on how lovely and distinct the venue was (and we used every part, from the outdoor space for ceremony and cocktails, the upstairs Crown room for the reception, then the downstairs bar for an afterparty, plus we were able to use the event dining room and brew room for unique and amazing photos.)
The food was absolutely delicious and the themed dinner stations were a huge hit with our guests.
We also enjoyed using the 2 Airbnb’s that Guilford rents (each within a block of the venue) which served as amazing spaces to get ready in (so much more comfortable and spacious than a hotel room) and lovely enough to take beautiful pre-wedding pictures.
We can’t say enough good things about the venue, staff, and food! And we can’t wait to see all of the pictures taken by the photographers in all of the unique and amazing parts of this venue! -

Very Accomodating
If you are looking for a space that is rustic and charming, Guildford Hall Brewery is the perfect venue for you. I had my wedding here October 1st, 2022 and the the venue was well maintained, the staff was very friendly and helpful from the beginning to end. The event coordinator, Nicole was absolutely amazing! Her attention to detail and ability to manage people (multiple vendors) is exactly what every event needs! She is kind, assertive, professional and helped in any way she could to make our night special. -

Guilford Hall Brewery went above and beyond our expectations for our fall wedding. Every single person on the team, from Nicole and Genesis (the supportive event coordinators), to Ryan (the talented chef), to Claire (one of the amazing waitresses), and everyone else that works there, played a huge part in making this the best day of our lives. Nicole and Genesis continuously worked with us throughout the planning process to make sure our needs were met and offered suggestions and ideas to make it even better. They were very responsive and present and reassured us everything would be taken care of, and it was. When we met Ryan for the food tasting, he brought out food combinations I would have never thought of. It was hard to narrow it down to just a few things. Everything was unique, flavorful, fall-related, and delicious. People are still talking about the food a few weeks later. Not only was the staff incredible, but the venue itself was exactly what we wanted. We had our ceremony outside in the courtyard with 180 people, followed by the cocktail hour outside as well. The atmosphere had a very rustic, laid back, classy feel and everyone had a drink in their hand and a smile on their face. The ceremony was upstairs, surrounded by the iconic Baltimore exposed brick, which made the decorations pop. The light fixtures they have are beautiful enough that we didn’t need to set up any extra lights. Even though we had 180 people, it felt very intimate, surrounded by love. The staff at Guilford ensured everyone was taken care of throughout the entire night and having a great time. I would highly recommend you use this venue for your wedding, you won’t regret it. -

WOW. We are stilling coming off of our wedding weekend high! The Guilford Hall Brewery was the BEST venue for our wedding. We did it all in one place, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception. It was SO EASY and smooth. Nicole is a ROCKSTAR and made everything simple. She gave us exactly what we wanted with some amazing ideas as well. The guests kept approaching me all night expressing how they LOVED the venue and have never seen anything like it. Guests also LOVED the food, chef came up with a fantastic menu. Again - everything was done for us, alcohol, food, tables, linens, dessert; Nicole is ON IT!

We had the most perfect wedding reception at Guilford. Everything went so smoothly and even if it didn't, we didn't notice and neither did our guests. We've heard so many wonderful things from friends and family about Nicole-Guilford's amazing event coordinator, Bill - and the rest of our bartenders, the food, and the space in general. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and attentive and there was barely a moment where we weren't being taken care of.
It's very clear the skill and years of experience Nicole has in the industry, as she helped us very quickly navigate through details we hadn't considered in a very short timeframe.
The menu and execution was masterful and we appreciated all the flexibility while we hashed out what we wanted with Chef. Again, we've only heard incredibly positive remarks about the food.
We were able to bring our vision to this beautiful space and the staff exceeded our expectations. Don't sleep on this beautiful space for your wedding -
