Alyssa and her staff were very professional and provided excellent service and was accommodating of our every need.

I would recommend Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner for any event. They had good food choices to choose from. Our guests loved the food we chose for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We will definitely use them for future events and recommend them to our friends for their events.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner is the best caterer we've ever had! I have three sisters who are married and agree that the catering was amazing!

The presentation of the food was as professional as it could get. On top of that, our food at my wedding was amazing. It was the best chicken fluorine I have ever tasted. The service was top-notch.

Fantastic food fantastic service: guess who’s coming to dinner Catering is amazing. Their staff is courteous and very accommodating. They assisted us in every way. When needing to change some plans around to accommodate the guests they were quick to respond and did an amazing job. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. I have use them for other events and had the same experience. If you want the perfect caterer this is the one.

Amazing service!

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner catering was such a pleasure to work with. After pricing out several catering companies, they had the best prices. Daniella, the event coordinator, was very pleasant to work with, responsive, and very flexible. The staff and the food on the day of the wedding were amazing! They were so accommodating to our needs. We received so many compliments about how delicious the food was and the bartenders and wait staff didn't know what else to do for us. They had no problem working with our special meals for the with dietary restrictions as well. I highly recommend this catering company for any event. Thank you!

Fantastic Caterer

We hired GWCTD to cater our wedding reception. Working with Daniella and her team was such a pleasure - from the tasting and deciding on the menu all the way to the end of our event. While the tasting was a little underwhelming (sometimes it's hard to scale down and try just a taste), the food on the day-of was DELICIOUS! We received so much positive feedback from our guests, and also the catering team prepared plates for the two of us - so we got to enjoy! Also, they were reasonably priced - huge bonus. I cannot say enough positive things about this caterer. Highly recommend!

We got married on July 27th, 2018. Our wedding day was perfect- absolutely perfect! A huge part of that success was because of the work that GWCTD did.

The staff was prompt and friendly, the food was impeccable, and the clean up was so smooth. While our bridal party forgot to grab food for us to-go after the reception, GWCTD staff made sure that it happened and got the food to us on our way out. They passed appetizers for the first 30 minutes, then opened up for two buffet lines for heavy Hors d'Oeuvres. They had drinks, they made us a particular punch, they cleaned tables throughout the night, they did all of the cake cutting, and they packed away all the food and got it to the correct person at the end of the night.

If you are anxious about what catering vendor to use, seriously look no further. They are affordable, they are flexible, and they genuinely care about the success of your event.

Long review, I know, but they deserve it! I was sooo pleased.

Right from the start they were great. The tasting was good and we got to bring our remaining food with us. They arrive at my event on time and serve my guest with such professionalism that my guess complimented the services. The food looked and tasted very good. I just celebrated my 25th Wedding Anniversary , I couldn't chose a better catering than Guess Who's Coming Dinner. I Highly recommend this company.

They did a fantastic job! The entire process was seamless. Daniella was so professional and helpful. The staff at our wedding were top notch. Everything went off without a hitch, and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner was a huge part of that. Would highly recommend them for a wedding or any other event!

GWCTD saved my son and his fiancés wedding! We originally had another company who fell through and they came in and handled everything so professionally. As a matter of fact my husband and I used them back in 1992 for our wedding! Would definitely recommend them! They were perfect and their staff excellent! Friendly and went over and above to make everything special for their day!

The food tasted great. We received complements all evening (wedding). The price was very competitive; and they were happy to make the dinner gluten free. Another couple recommend them to us; and I will certainly recommend them as well

The food was excellent! We received many compliments from our guests on how delicious the food tasted. Taryn was very accommodating and even found the perfect black & white striped table runners my daughter wanted. The wait staff were professional and responsive. I highly recommend GWCTD!

We selected Guess Who is Coming to Dinner for our 2nd daughter's wedding reception. The food was excellent. The service was top notch. The guests enjoyed the food. We had several guests attend the wedding who had not sent in their RSVP, and I was panicked that we would not have enough food. I sought out the on-site manager to discuss our options and found that he had already counted the guests and made the needed adjustments. WHEW! I was extremely pleased by the professionalism and flexibility. They also did a great job in setting up and "flipping" the room and cleaning up after our event. I highly recommend them. Their price was very good too!!

We hired Guess Who's Coming To Dinner because I know the owner. They provided us exceptional service to our residents as we were planning an event onsite at our community. The staff was very friendly and helped me put together some floral arrangements last minute which they were not asked to do before hand. Taryn helped put together the quote for us and when we needed to tweak it, she had an updated quote for us immediately. The food was amazing, and the residents were very complimentary. Based on the quality of food and service we received, their pricing is fair and reasonable. I would recommend them for any event, small or large that you may be considering them for.

We hired GWCTD for our company party catering and it was relatively small (130 people). The food was delicious, very reasonable and they had a good variety. I believe that almost as good as the food was the staff. They were all very professional, polite, courteous and extremely helpful. We had a huge oversight on our end and didn't realize that when they finished the food, the bartender(s) also finished. After discussing it with the staff manager on site, she was able to accommodate us and extend the services for the bartender! I would definitely hire again and highly recommend them!

If you are planning a wedding and want great food with great service, then you need to book Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? The people were so friendly and professional. We choose Mexican food for our wedding and the food was delicious, and my guests raved about how much they loved the food. I would definitely use them again if I need a catering service.

I would say that don't even bother going anywhere else to look. We used them for my 3rd daughter's wedding and could not believe the quality of food and service for such a good price. We never had so many complements on the reception food before. Their price even includes 2 passing hor devoures. So we used them again last Saturday for our 4th daughter's wedding. We had a lot of the same guest who said they couldn't believe the food was completely different and just as good as our last reception. Taryn, is so nice and so easy to work with. They have a taste testing and work so hard to get just what you want. The sons in laws usually choose the menu and this time it was breakfast burritos, burger and pork sliders and mac n cheese sliders, as the main courses. Rave Reviews! You won't go wrong with Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.

Guess Who's Coming To Dinner catered the McKinney State of the City event on Nov 5, 2015. They were wonderful. The food was great, staff were friendly and well trained and the on sight managers were on top of everything. Taryn and Fabion were fantastic. I am the McKinney Chamber event manager and I have my own wedding company as well; I will be using Guess Who's Coming again!!

The team was great. Preparing beforehand by walking the venue with us making suggestions on best traffic/people flow. Showing up day of with even extra supplies to make sure all of the tables were decorated and just great presentation.

Food was amazing and abundant, they tweaked the menu as the attendee's made suggestions to us,

Especially, the team always paying attention to the crowd and Taryn to - us (bride and groom) ensuring that we had something to eat, that we had everything we needed and that we were happy.

We utilized Guess Who's Coming to Dinner for our holiday party. We had approx. 150 people and the food and service were amazing. The staff was very accommodating and our event was a huge success. I will definitely look forward to working with Felicia and Kate and the staff at Guess Who's Coming to Dinner again. They truly went above and BEYOND-helped with things that the venue refused to help with such as setting chairs and moving furniture. The food was delicious, affordable, and had a great presentation. We also did a room flip from ceremony to reception and the flip was done efficiently. Most importantly, all of the staff had great positive attitudes. They know how to work as a team with other vendors and always had smiling faces!

Our family could not have been happier with the catering experience we had with our daughter's wedding. Both the people on the phone and at the event were great to work with. I always worry about not having enough food for events like this, but the quantities were very generous, and the food both looked and tasted great. The people at the event were professional and friendly, and I won't remember all the names, but I did appreciate working with Fabian. I checked with him often regarding both the food and alcohol and he was a big help in making the event successful. I would without question use Guess Who's Coming to Dinner should my other daughter decide to marry in the Dallas area.

I cannot compliment this vendor enough. When we went for our tasting everything we tried was amazing. They were so organized when it came to emailing me and coordinating our supplies. My wedding food was amazing and they packed a big bag of food and cake for my husband and I to take with us. Everyone was telling us how great the service and food was at our wedding. I cannot praise them enough!

The BEST food I've had at a wedding and I've been to quite a few. I had so many of my guests come up to me and rave about the food. When I went to the tasting I expected just a little sample, but I had a huge plate full! For the wedding we had 2 kinds of pasta AND fajitas both chicken and beef plus a starch side dish, fruit and cheese, and 2 hors d'oeurvres. For that amount of food at a wedding you'd think the price would be through the roof! But they are very affordable. The people there are so nice, professional, and I never felt like I wasn't cared about. They made sure I was happy with all my choices and if I wanted to change something, they never made it seem like I was being complicated or anything. And I always got a quick response.

I got my beloved mash potato martini bar, which was better than I even imagined. Everything was delicious and warm when we began the dinner hour. The staff even had special plates made for me and my groom to make sure we got something to eat! The menu was super affordable and still turned out absolutely fantastic. The outdoor and indoor bar staff kept everyone happy with wine and beer and the service staff was quick to clean up. I could not say anything bad about our catering! Thank you so much GWCTD!

Planning a destination wedding in Dallas was made easier with the help of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. Andrea helped us with all aspects of the meal planning via email and phone calls. They provided lists for us to contact everyone we needed to down to how much beer to buy. We participated in two tastings to determine the menu and were given lots of options for timing the event. The food was
excellent, the presentation was beautiful and the staff was so professional and courteous to everyone.

Oh my goodness were they good!! I can't tell you how much we appreciate how well they did. My husband and I are very... well... too laid back about a lot of things, so we felt like we were losing our minds the day of our wedding. But have no fear, GWCTD stepped in and handled everything! Andrea was there with her crew and she asked simple questions throughout the night (basically are you ready for this, are you ready for that) and she took care of it all. The bartenders were especially friendly and accommodating, to anything we requested it was, "don't worry, consider it done." I didn't have a chance to talk to anyone handling our buffet (Andrea and another person were so wonderful they prepared two plates of food for us so we actually got to eat!!) but everyone of our family and friends had so many compliments for them.
Now the food.... was AWESOME. We had brisket, roasted chicken, BBQ sauce (on the side as requested), garlic sauteed broccoli and carrots, mashed potatoes, and rolls and it was wonderful. After our event they packed up the extra and our friends took it to our house. We have been eating on it for a few days now and strangely enough, I'm not tired of it. It was all so good. Especially the chicken, it was so tender and juicy it was easy to eat it off the bone with a fork. And another thing, they packed up enough food for two so we could eat once we got to our room. I have to say, at first I didn't think it was necessary, but when we got back we were HUNGRY. It was so great to have that midnight snack already made up for us.
All in all they were so great, I would recommend them to ANYONE. Should we need catering in the future, we will definitely give them a call!! Thank you GWCTD!!

We picked GWCTD based on the taste of the food at first - by far the most flavorful and best value. But soon realized it was also the great service that stands out after working them. From Kay, who answers the phone, to Andrea who always was there to take our every question and change of mind, to the guys in the kitchen unloading and loading our cars, to the staff who worked the wedding so professionally and courteously. We were very impressed, and got SO MANY great comments about the wonderful food. We highly recommend GWCTD to everyone we come in contact with for catering needs.

We were very impressed by Guess Who. The staff was very helpful and flexible in planning and preparing for the wedding day. Their pricing was very competitive and we felt like we got more then we payed for.

On our wedding day we barely noticed they were there. They set up, took care of the guests, and cleaned up discreetly and professionally. Any time we asked for something it was handled quickly and effectively.

They did a great job for us and we couldn't have been happier with our choice.

I worked with Guess Who Is Coming to Dinner Catering for my wedding on 10/18/2013 at the Delaney Vineyeards and they were WONDERFUL. When I went to the tasting, I felt no pressure to pick them to cater my wedding. I worked with Andrea and she was so kind and willing to work with the different food we wanted. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner did a fantastic job at our wedding. Before the wedding, Andrea was easy to work with, answered all our questions, and set up a great menu. Days before the wedding, I sent her pictures of how we wanted everything in our reception to look and Guess Who made it happen. They also let my husband take the alcohol to them days before the wedding. At the wedding, the buffet was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was awesome. Our bartenders made sure my drink and my husband's was always full. When it was all over, they helped my brothers and my parents pack up the extra food and alcohol and get it to their cars. They also packed my husband and I a dinner to take to our hotel, which was a life safer as we were starving (this is also the only way I got to try our cake!!). I would definitely use Guess Who again!

Andrea worked with us from the very beginning and brought an excellent team to the venue for our reception. I used GWCTD as my caterer for my April 13th wedding. I LOVED them! They were a fantastic price, willing to work with all my wants and they let us bring our own alcohol that they served! Justin was our party captain and I would 100% recommend him - he was so attentive to the groom and I during the party and helped to make sure we were having a good time. We had such a positive experience with Guess Who's Coming to Dinner! We selected them to be our caterer at our daughter's wedding at Old Red Courthouse. The minute we met Stephanie, we knew we were in the right place and that everything would be PERFECT! We were NOT disappointed! She helped us create a fabulous buffet, gave us TONS of advice, helped us with custom linens and chairs (the list goes on and on!) She really helped my husband and me feel at ease and she was very respectful of our budget. The food was my husband's "baby" and his favorite part of the wedding! Stephanie really went above and beyond for our wedding...she was at Old Red to meet vendors, she coordinated with everyone, she made sure it was absolutely everything we wanted on that wedding day! We had so many great comments about the food--that it was really delicious (we agree!). If we had to do it over again, we would work with GWCD and Stephanie and duplicate it! She took such an interest in our family and our wedding and we feel like we made a friend, as well as worked with a highly organized, professional, and creative caterer. Wow! And the food was beyond good. It was amazing!!
Stephanie was our party captain and she took care of everything. I didnt have to worry about anything but having fun! She kept us on schedule and worked with the dj to help guide the flow of the night.
And when my brother-in-law (obviously drunk as a skunk) gave an awkward toast, she made sure that no more toasts were made without my ok!
We even got 2 to-go plates to take to the hotel with us which was wonderful because we didnt have time to eat!

They helped to set up the reception area and did so much more than I thought a caterer would do. It was an amazing night and I know that without GWCD and Stephanie it wouldnt have been what it was.
My friend used them for her wedding a month after mine, and she felt the same way. And my cousin is using them in October!

GWCTD Caterers were WONDERFUL!! At my wedding, we used them for both our food and our bartenders. They went above and beyond for our guests, as well as provided some amazing food! My only tiny complaint is that we had changed a side on the menu a month beforehand and the change did not make it to the day of.. My husband and I had GWCTD cater our wedding this past weekend, and the food was absolutely delicious! We chose the Italian buffet menu with chicken parmesan and the 5 cheese pasta. Guess Who provided an absolutely delicious dinner buffet for our wedding of about 180 people. I would highly, highly recommend them. They created a fantastic all-vegan menu and were extremely flexible to suggestions from us (since this was, I believe, their first vegan wedding). We had ratatouille tartlets and lentil soup shooters for cocktail hour. Dinner was a buffet of: strawberry, tofu, pecan salad (with a berry vinaigrette), lentil loaf with mushroom gravy, spaghetti squash tacos, leek mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, quesadillas (with non-dairy cheese), and rolls with vegan butter. Most people didn't know it was all vegan and, quite frankly, weren't able to tell either!! We got numerous compliments on the food at our wedding.

It was a little frustrating that my main contact changed twice during the process (because the previous 2 no longer worked with the company). But everything turned out fine and each girl did a great job going over the notes and special requests with me each time. The only thing I would change is the team was so efficient that the minute someone walked away from their table to visit or dance, their drink was taken away. Three times I got a glass of water, drank a few sips from it, set it down at my place to go dance, only to return after the song and the water had been taken away. Otherwise, everything was great! We booked GWCTD for our wedding after the groom and I did a taste test of the buffet options. Everything was great and we were impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. They also are a GREAT value compared to other caterers.
We got tons of compliments on the food from wedding guests. They also packed up the leftovers for us to take home, and sent 2 servings of everything (including wedding cake!) with the groom and I when we left for our hotel that night. What a nice surprise! The only thing is some of the side items were a little different that when we had sampled at our tasting.
They were always punctual and patient with me and my million emails. I only gave them a 4.5 on service because my mom seemed to have some issues with them when it was closer to the wedding. She said someone was rude on the phone and it seems disorganized. And they also charged her card over $700 for some "missed charges."
BUT, overall, I was very happy with them and didn't have any issues, and I was the one primarily communicating with them.
I would def book them for your event! Also, our venue was very picky about who they would allow for catering, but they were more than happy to work with this company.

From the moment we did our tasting, we knew that GWCTDC was going to be the caterer for our wedding. great caterer, food was wonderful! servers excellent! only thing I would say is, we went with chicken and beef fajitas, guacamole and toss salad was very, very heavy on the onions. So at taste testing make sure if that is an issue for you to note that and revisit about it the week of your wedding. Would we recommend Guess Who's Coming To Dinner? YES!! We loved working with them and people did enjoy the food. : )

I was so happy that I went with Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. I had a few appointments with other caterers that did not feel very professional or inviting and new right away that this was the vendor for me. I worked with Stephanie who is very knowledgable about the business. She was wonderful about alway easing our minds through the process and taking the stress and burden off of us. She let us bring everything we needed for the wedding to them the week of the wedding so we didn't have to worry about it the day of. She kept saying, "the more I can be responsible for and help with, the less you have to stress out about it." That is so refreshing to hear! They walked us through the entire process, met with us at the venue before hand to hash out the details. The wedding itself went so smoothly. I could not have been more pleased. The guests loved the service and the food.

Work with Taryn! She assisted us in making the right decisions on food, decorations, and set up. The company allowed us to provide our alcohol which saved a ton of money.

Guess catered our annual school banquet and the food was good. Working with Taryn was easy and she always responded quickly, She made a great suggestion with the linens which made our banquet look so beautiful. The serving staff was very professional.

Wasn't a wedding, but a School Auction, but would totally use them without a doubt for a wedding. Really an excellent company and good food.

I love working with Guess Who's Comming to Dinner. I have used them several times before for compnay events and they have always been wonderful and timely. The quality of food it top shelf but not expensive. I highly recoment them to you!!!!!

I was a little frustrated at first when communicating via email and not getting a timely (2+ business days) response. It did create concern for me on how things would be handled on our wedding day but communication improved as the wedding day got closer. There was a misunderstanding on me providing plates/cups/serving-ware but Kate worked with the owner to make it work and in the end did the right thing and provided great customer service to a stressed/concerned bride. The staff on site the night of the wedding were all great, very friendly and approachable. Overall I would say I was a bit concerned at first after hiring GWCTD but in the end I was happy and thought the staff did a great job.

The food is great, however one of our veggies wasn't exactly what we discussed or what we sampled, so that was disappointed...but it all tasted good. They also wrapped everything up for us and had it available to take home at the end of the night. They also allowed us to bring in our alcohol early and got it ready for the night. I had some problems early on getting responses from my contact, however once I spoke with another representative, I was able to get feedback quickly from that person.

Very easy to work with. They were flexible and worked with me to achieve a nice buffet with food I liked that was within my budget.

For the most part everything was great. Food was delicious and exactly what we wanted. We paid the deposit when we decided on them and then before the first payment was due, we went ahead and paid it in full. A couple weeks later, we received a call saying that our first 1/2 payment was due. I told them we went ahead and paid in full and they finally realized/found our payment. Several days before our wedding, they called for the rest of the details and information about the wedding. The girl said she would email me with the details that we just talked about but never received the email. For our wedding, we brought our own alcohol which included several cases of beer, several bottles of wine, liquor, and champagne. Monday when the leftover alcohol and gifts could be picked up, there were SEVERAL bottles of wine that were open but completely full. The bartenders/caterers opened every bottle of wine even though they were not needed and we had to throw out every bottle. I sent an email with the receipt and picture of the bottles that I personally threw out (some were already thrown out while we were on our honeymoon). They did not respond so my husband called and they sent a check for $59 to cover what I had mentioned what was thrown out. We paid a lot to have caterers/bartenders and paid tip on top of that so you would expect something better. It would have been nice to get a little more back since we threw out more than what was pictured but I guess it's better than nothing. Overall, food was great!

Food and service was good. We did, however, experience an embarrassing incident at the end of the evening when the bartenders loaded the left-over beer and wine into an unauthorized vehicle. Our contract clearly indicated who was to receive the beer and wine at the end of the evening, but Fabian and crew neglected to pay attention to that particular detail. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner also "misplaced" my daughter's wedding cake topper. Sadly, whomever from the catering staff was in charge of boxing up the top layer of wedding cake neglected to include the topper. The company's lack of an apology or responsibility for either lapse has us questioning their professionalism and courtesy ... leaving a very bad taste in our mouths.

The food was great, the service was horrible. A lot of our guests commented that food was taken away before it had been eaten. While guests were dancing, their tables (drinks, cake, favors) were cleared off of the table. The waiters came to me (the bride) and asked me a bunch of questions during the reception when they were instructed to talk to the wedding planner.
