  The best Colorado wedding band EVER!

  Best band in Denver!

  Absolutely LOVE this crew. They brought such an energy to our wedding and engaged with us all evening. Their catalog is the most extensive of any of the bands we considered and yet they still went out of their way to learn some of our favorites.
  
  They sound perfect, play a wide variety of music and feed off the crowd. Most importantly, they're extremely easy to communicate with. Can't say enough good things about Groove 'N Motion.

  Groove 'N Motion performed at our wedding this year and were outstanding!

  Groove 'N Motion performed at our wedding this year and were outstanding! Their library of songs to choose from is extensive and their communication was great leading up to our event as well. Our dance floor was packed the whole night and many of our guests were raving about the band. I would highly recommend Groove 'N Motion for any event!

  The best wedding band a girl could ask for!

  The band was the most important decision for me while planning our wedding celebration and I couldn't have been more happy with GnM. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and had prompt communication through out the planning process. They learned extra songs for us which made our wedding day the most perfect day. They had the greatest variety of songs and allowed me to have an input in their setlist. The dance floor was completely packed the entire reception. 10/10 would recommend this band if your looking for a fun & groovy party. The musicians were extremely talented and know how to put on a great show. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

  You don't need to look further! Incredible band

  Cannot recommend Groove 'N Motion enough. Our band selection was near the top of our priority list, if not at the very top, and Groove 'N Motion exceeded our high expectations. We've lost count of how many comments we've received from guests about their talent and our dance party. But more than that, they are incredibly professional, responsive, and accomodative. They worked with us for months leading up to our wedding, including requests and adjustments, even us changing our first dance tune weeks away from the wedding. We couldn't be more pleased and happy to write this review. If you're browsing reviews and considering G'nM, your search for a top tier wedding band should end here, with them.

  Awesome Band!

  The band was awesome! Everyone was dancing all night long. We booked this band preCovid and had to change the venue, date and year. Great to work with and extremely professional through all the changes and planning.

  Search No Further for your Wedding/Event Band

  How do you create a successful wedding? You surround yourself with your people, great food and amazing music. That is just what we did at our daughter’s wedding in Larkspur, Colorado.
  We knew we wanted a band to provide music throughout the wedding day from ceremony to reception. After a long search, which included watching many videos and dropping in at live performances, we chose Groove ‘N Motion without question. Scott Handler, the band’s leader, is compassionate about his work and proud of what he has created. We communicated several times throughout the planning process with Scott, and he immediately responded to our phone calls and emails. He listened closely to all our requests and wholeheartedly carried them out on the day of the wedding. Each band member is unique and extremely talented in their craft from vocals to horns. They engaged with our guests and truly put on an amazing performance. If you want a band for your wedding, look no further. We’ve done the legwork. You will not be disappointed, and your guests will thank you for bringing joy to their day. Thank you, Groove ‘N Motion for the emotional and heartwarming sounds during our daughter’s wedding ceremony that brought tears to some of our guests, classy music during the cocktail hour and jamming, energetic sounds that got our guests dance the night away during the reception. Everyone had a memorable time that will be talked about for the years to come.

  Great entertainment for our wedding

  “Where did you find this band?”, was the question that I answered numerous times at our wedding. Everyone, and I mean everyone loved this bands performance. Lots of fun dance music. If you enjoy horns, they will not disappoint. Very professional and easy to work with getting them scheduled for our reception.

  Absolute best wedding band

  Groove 'N Motion performed for our wedding in August 2021 and they were incredible at every level. GnM had excellent communication, were affordable, were accommodating and understanding, played an amazing and wide-ranging setlist, and rocked with high energy all through the night. Our wedding guests, young and old, have said over and over how much they loved our dance floor and that GnM was the best wedding band they had ever seen. We agree and could not recommend them any higher.
  
  Scott, our main point of contact, was very communicative and accommodating, including when we had to reschedule our wedding because of covid. He also had a great ability to give advice and perspective from GnM's significant experience playing weddings and large events while still taking our more specific requests to heart. For example, GnM offered a range of modern and classic songs on a designated setlist but also enabled us to make many of our own requests of favorite songs not on their list. They also allowed us to send family to see them rehearse before we booked them because we at the time lived out of state. And they traveled from Denver to our venue in Salida, CO and were great sports about making the trip.
  
  It is important to make clear that GnM is not just a random group of musicians who are occasionally pulled together to play a wedding (like we discovered many commercial wedding bands can be). Groove 'N Motion is a true band with great continuity and a range of talents. It's clear they love playing music together and have fantastic rapport.
  
  GnM was amazing during our reception. They have their own sound mixer, who helpfully made sure the music never got too loud for our older guests. They played approx. 3.5-4 hours for our reception and kept everyone out on the dance floor. The only problem we had was that so many guests wanted to stay for the music that everyone waited to take the last shuttle home! GnM was also excellent for our ceremony songs (a couple songs for guest seating, processional, and recessional) and provided a nice jazz quartet during our cocktail hour.
  
  These guys are talented and have range. Being able to rock a country song that is a family favorite and then soon after play some true funk hits is not something just any band could pull off. GnM did it without any problem. If you want to make sure that you have a wedding band that can perform songs in your setlist for all your guests to enjoy and keep the energy going, look no further than Groove 'N Motion. You will not be disappointed.

  Groove 'N Motion made our wedding reception an absolutely unforgettable experience. From start to finish, every song they played was amazing and had everyone in the crowd on their feet! Since the wedding, a number of our guests have reached out and specifically called out the band as a highlight of the event. Additionally, working with Scott in preparation of the event was really great, and he was a fantastic MC. We would highly recommend Groove 'N Motion & The Rocky Mountain Horns to anyone planing an event and looking to have live music.

  Best Investment for the Best Wedding Party!

  Groove 'N Motion played at our March 16, 2019 wedding in Vail, CO. Scott was in communication with us for many months leading up to our event to arrange the ceremony music and the reception setlist, including learning specific special request songs. Scott and Dan worked alongside the venue and one of our vocalist family members to efficiently and effectively coordinate all of the audio needs inside and outside of our event space. Groove 'N Motion was the sole vendor that made our event the awesome dance party we always dreamed of. Months after our event, we are still receiving compliments on our “wedding band” and we are flooded with questions of who the band was. Groove 'N Motion went above and beyond any expectations we could have ever set for our event. The music expertise and professionalism of Groove 'N Motion was by far the best investment we made on our wedding day.

  Everyone in the group is so passionate - so in love - with being part of Groove 'N Motion, it shows in the way they interact with the audience and conduct themselves behind the scenes. Truly wonderful people. Down to earth, helpful, attentive and dedicated to giving the listening audience a great time!

  I'm an event planner and have hired many many bands. Groove n Motion is now at the top of my list! I cannot exaggerate how fabulous they were. Song choice, musicians, vocalists, crowd interaction etc etc ; all were wonderful. My only complaint is that I work mainly on the East Coast and they are from Denver. However if I'm in the area again there will be no doubt as to what band I will contact!
