We had the BEST experience with Groove Line Productions as our wedding DJ. Wow, where to start? I did extensive research on DJ companies and solo DJs (there are so many out there!) before choosing Groove Line. I knew we had to book them after my first phone call with Trelawny. Trelawny was so kind and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions thoroughly and was NOT pushy like other DJs I have encountered. The communication and response time was on point the whole time. We got the Platinum Package, which includes 10 uplights. I wasn’t sure how many uplights I needed exactly, but was thinking maybe 12. I was stressing out about those 2 extra uplights that I may need because it can be expensive to rent uplights! I sent an email over to Trelawny asking if I could get 2 additional uplights for the day of and she said no problem! Then we invited Trelawny and DJ Ptch Blaq to the final venue walk through. As the planner and I were discussing the floor plan, Trelawny was planning where the uplights would be placed and how many would be needed for the space before I even mentioned it. It is evident that they are experienced with weddings. They gave us guidance without telling us what we should or should not do. During our final consult meeting, we discussed the general type of music we wanted but gave them full reign to do whatever they needed to do to keep the party going. You can’t gain my trust too easily, but Groove Line did! Our friends and family were on the dance floor the whole night. The wedding turned out amazing and we are so thankful to have had Groove Line on our team! -

From the moment we first spoke with DJ Ptch Blaq & Trelawny we knew that they were going to be awesome! They were both very responsive from day 1, through planning, and the entire wedding day. Amazingly friendly and easy to work with, and they will customize your wedding to your music tastes. Our dance floor was grooving the entire wedding! They also sent us an incredible customized video they took of all our guests and us having an amazing time which was incredible to watch and bring back memories of the night that flew by! Without us even asking they captured our choreographed dance (none of our family knew we were doing this so didn’t think to record the whole thing) which was very special to us! Definitely would recommend for any event you need a DJ for! -

Trelawny and James are an amazing duo! They made our wedding day a breeze and helped so much along the process. Even though we were dealing with a pandemic, they still had a “face to face” meeting through zoom so we could discuss last minute wedding details! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would give them 10. Exceptional service, genuine human compassion, and great music! -

The music and lighting were amazing, Groove line productions accommodated all of our song selections, even going out their way to find songs that weren't included in their normal line up. The lighting was gorgeous, they matched our theme perfectly with the rose centered on the dance floor illuminating the area. Dj Ptch Blaq, aka Mr. James Bullock and his wife Trelawny were very professional and it was a thrill to have them help us celebrate our wedding. -

James and Trelawny were an absolute treat to have for our special day!! We were a COVID19 wedding and they were super accommodating when we had to move our day. With the help of the Vibo App we were able to select our special songs in advance and they were ready to go for our day. To our surprise GLP created a memory video of our day! They went out of their way to create this keepsake video for us and it is something we will cherish forever. The music selection kept everyone on their feet and dancing the entire night! GLP is VERY professional in everything they do and I recommend everyone to use them! If I had to do my wedding over I would chose to work with GLP time and time again!! -

I can not express my gratitude enough for everything Grooveline did to make our day even more special. Everyone had so much fun dancing and being together that no one picked up their phone all night! Not only were the song choices exactly what we wanted, but they were able to add songs we wanted and had forgotten about. They put together the sweetest videos for us and a special congrats present for us. We felt like part of their family! Absolutely phenomenal!!!! -

Groove Line Productions for the win! Literally. I won their DJ services at the Georgetown Bridal Show! James (DJ PTCH BLQ) & Trelawny have got it together. The couple has such giving hearts and serves the community too! They have a passion for honoring military families and giving back. They were informative and available from the beginning to ensure that our wedding day went flawlessly. They were accommodating with our special dances like-The Grand March and Aggie War Hymn, as well as, meeting with my husband and I in person to go over final details before our wedding day. If you are looking for a DJ or emcee for an event you are hosting-you can trust Groove Line Productions to provide high quality entertainment. They exceeded my expectations and over-delivered!!! The best DJ to get your guest dancing!
Grooveline and DJ PTCH BLAQ are the best of the best. They rank at the top of our list when we recommend a DJ to couples. They have a quick response time and professional set-up. Plus, most importantly, they rock the party. When DJ PTCH BLAQ is out at the venue, the party is never dull. This is an area you don't want to skimp on or try to play your own "mix tape". Hire THIS DJ and you will see they are worth every penny! -
