Amazing Venue & Staff Along With Value
The venue is absolutely stunning & super spacious! They also have tons of decor that you can use for a wedding! it’s beautiful! The staff is super friendly & always willing to help & work with you. I love this place! The prices are great & payment options are available ! -

Going to be beautiful!
I am getting married this November 16th and I am so glad I am choosing Greystone for my venue! They have an amazing selection of free decor passed down from previous weddings that take the load off of you! The package is affordable and all that you need! It’s also very convenient right off the highway. Michelle is always great at getting back to me when ever I have questions! Their different packages have great offers, and they have an optional salon for the girls! They also have space for an outdoor or indoor wedding! I highly recommend Greystone for anyone looking for that elegant rustic venue! -

Great value, amazingly kind staff and beautiful space
Greystone Mill is exactly what we wanted for our intimate ceremony and reception. All of the options provided in the packages helps make your wedding day exactly what you want it to be and takes out a lot of the stress from planning. The building has a kitchen area and separate rooms for the bride and groom to get ready in (the bride has a private restroom as well) which were all things on our venue wishlist. The outdoor area for the ceremony was exactly what we were looking for and there's a rainy day back up. There are tons of free decorations to choose from that have really helped me envision what I would like to space to look like and help keep decorating costs down. We were able to tour the venue with Michelle before we booked and she was so kind and easy to work with. You can really tell she cares and takes pride in the space she provides. She answered every question we had while we were there, and we've received emails that answer questions we may have forgotten to ask or didn't even think of. The website has tons of information and resources as well. -

This venue is so beautiful! They offer so much of what you need for an affordable price! Their free decor is so nice!! They answer all of my questions fully and quickly! Their packages are all inclusive and I love that!! -

Michelle is wonderful!
Michelle has been awesome so far! Very friendly and calming when your a little overwhelmed! She is also so helpful, giving suggestions on vendors and always there to answer any questions. The venue is beautiful and they have a wonderful decoration selection! So excited to celebrate our big day at the Greystone Mill! -

Such a beautiful venue! They seem to of offered the most of any other venue we looked at. The fact that they have decor there for you to use made things so much simpler for us in the planning process! A dream come true!
Using Greystone Mill has made wedding planning EASY and FUN! I love the venue and there are so many fun extras that they offer too, such as a beautiful salon for the bride and her girls to get ready in. They offer free decor that has been handed down from brides previously and it is a very unique option as a lot of venues don’t have decor for you to use, and decor can be pricey depending on what you are wanting. They communicate quickly and efficiently, and Michelle has a lot of amazing recommendations. Overall I really love that they offer SO much in their wedding packages versus other venues and the staff is ALWAYS super friendly. I could not recommend highly enough, and thank you Greystone Mill for making my March wedding planning so easy! -

Michelle is a dream to talk to and VERY informative. We are happy with the pricing as it's one of the only venues still under $2000 which for us is amazing. (We only have one income)
This venue offers GREAT deals and the decorations to go with is even better! We ended up having to pay in payments and not many places let you but Greystone Mill has let us. Which I'm thankful for.
Venue so beautiful, packages great value and the people are so sweet! You couldn't go wrong with this place!!!
Also any pictures you see, doesn't do justice for the beautiful inside and out... When my sister originally showed me this venue I literally didn't want to go look, but we did and I was so happy we did... So beautiful... Thank you all so much -

Greystone Mill Weddings
If you are looking for a romantic, down-home venue for your wedding, look no further! They offer so many packages, all of which are at a great value! One of my favorite amenities is the FREE décor they have to offer! Everyone is so helpful and kind. If you have ANY questions, venue related or not, they will try their best to help you and in a timely manner. I love everything about our venue and am SO please with the decision to use Greystone Mill for our special day. -

Greystone Mill is such a beautiful venue! I knew that I wanted to hold my wedding here as soon as I saw the gorgeous pavilion! When I met with the owner for my tour of the venue, she was very kind and answered all of my questions thoroughly! She has also been easily accessible for any additional questions I have had since my tour! Greystone Mill is amazing! They offer free decor to use on your big day which was a major plus for us since why spend a bunch of money on centerpieces that'll you'll only use once?! Love this place!
Greystone Mill is the best! They promptly answer questions, even the ones you think are silly! The grounds are beautiful and they even off a variety of decorations to save you some money. My favorite space is the ceremony barn, the lighting is beautiful! -

We love Greystone Mill ! The venue is beautiful and is perfect for our wedding dream ! They offer a lending room with wonderful decorations and amenities. She really helped us with everything that we needed. She has so many things in house that you can use. The building is beautiful, you can even do it outside. It was nice having a bridal suite there. All my guest raved about how beautiful my big day was. Also the price is amazing. If you want to not go in debt and want a beautiful place this is where you need to go! -

Courteous, kind, enthusiastic group of folks here at Greystone Mill. We havent even had our wedding yet, and am still so shocked that it has all gone SO smoothly. Special thanks to Michelle, who is very quick to return any questions we have had, always offering suggestions, or mentioning what others have done with their many choices of equipment/decorations. I am an older bride and planning everything even cooking for my big day. I can't begin to tell you how easy and helpful Michelle has been, she has literally taken one of my worries off my shoulder for the big day. Her quick response time to text, emails and suggestions has been my life saver.
We will not be sorry in booking this venue. Convincenet drive from Joplin and Carthage area. My Groom and choose this place because we have older guest, no stairs easy to get in and out. Big enough for what we are needing for our 80 to 100 guest. -

Michelle from the beginning was super responsive and flexible while booking the venue and afterwards during setup. The place is lovely and they took care of most things to get the venue ready. She even helped us find a photographer at a great cost. In the end everything turned out better than we expected and the venue providing almost everything had a lot to do with it. -

BEST DAY EVER! Loved my wedding. It was so much fun. Make sure you book a venue that really cares about you and your dream. Greystone went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. They made my day so special. My mom still won't shut up about how much she likes the owners of the venue and how much fun she had with them and that makes me happy too. -

I had so much fun planning my wedding, I wish I could do it all over again. I would definitely still pick this venue again. We had a blast with the lady at Greystone mill. Everybody at my wedding is still telling me how beautiful it was. I swear it looked like out of a magazine.
It probably wouldn't have turned out as beautiful if I had to do it by myself. Thanks to the lady at Greystone Mill, it was beautiful! -

This venue provides nearly everything. The ladies here are amazing and I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else. I've been to a lot of weddings around Joplin. Civil War Ranch smells like a barn, Bullskin is way out in the country. Too far for guests to drive back at night. Amadeus is hyway robbery and the owners are two faced, Roxy is in the ghetto, and springhouse gardens doesn't have air conditioning. I'm just being honest. The ladies at Greystone were wonderful to work with and my wedding truely was breathtaking. -

Beautiful facility inside and out. If you want a country or rustic wedding, this place is perfect. I drove by this place everyday to work and couldn't wait to book my wedding there. The outside was landscaped before the building was finished and I noticed they had a couple of weddings by the gazebo. Beautiful with all of the draping and lighting. -

I won a free wedding during their open house party. Very generous staff. My wedding looked exactly like my Pinterest board. My mom and the the venue coordinator are now friends and we are planning my sisters wedding there. The venue had so many decorations to use for free. I smiled so much that evening my face hurt. -

Hands down, one of the best venues in the Joplin area. It's so refreshing to see a venue dedicated to the wedding party and not their pocketbook! I've been to many many weddings and this is one of my absolute favorites. My daughter understood the process from day one and had complete confidence in this facility. -

Wonderful to work with. There's not a venue around that offers the amenities that Greystone Mill offers. They provided so many things that I otherwise would have had to rent or buy. Saved a ton! -

Amazing experience!!
Working with this venue during our planning process has been an awesome experience! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they answer any and all questions that we have, no matter the question. I fell in love with the venue when Michelle made the experience really individual for me, walking me through how it would all look for what I wanted and tailoring it to me. -

I've been working with Michelle tan Greystone since around November of 2016. We were planning a very long engagement and set our date for July of 2018. We live in Kansas City and the country elegant look we wanted was out of our price range in the city, but from the moment we drove onto the property and stepped through the doors we fell in love. The venue had everything we were looking for, from the Groomsmen/Bridal Rooms to get ready in, large/clean bathrooms for guests, a food prep area, and the gorgeous outside scenery with a decent sized patio overlooking beautiful trees, a pond, and the gazebo for ceremonies outside. It has been the best decision (and only one we both agreed on immidiately) we've made through our whole wedding planning process. The price for the venue and everything it comes with including outstanding customer service from Michelle has made my "destination" wedding so nice to plan around. I know I can message Michelle at anytime and she'll respond ASAP and answer any questions/ideas I have about what I envision our wedding looking like. Cannot stress enough how nice it's been to work with her on this, and I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else! Cannot wait for next summer! Our one year countdown has begun!! YAY! -

Beautiful venue! Rustic/ peaceful theme. I love that it can be used as an outdoor or indoor ceremony. The reception ballroom is a nice space to socialize with your guests! The waterwheel is very unique and classy! -

Michelle at Greystone Mill is the venue owner every Bride dreams of working with. She was incredibly polite and willing to accommodate our wedding. The venue has the cutest tables and chairs, out door seating, restrooms, audio table, and changing rooms for the bride and groom! -

Worst Nightmare
I am not here to bash this venue,I just want to provide an honest review of what happened on my day of ! I had a bridesmaid and groomsmen arrive at 9:45AM (We were allowed in the venue at 10AM) I receive a text message while I am on my way there that my minister is there,(I did not have a minister) She then sent me a picture of a man who I did not recognize. After she did a little investigating apparently they were supposed to married at the same venue at 4PM. Now I was completely devastated since we had paid for the venue from 10AM to 11PM. I immediately starting trying to contact the venue owner with the number provided on our contract. I, not even exaggerating, called about 20 times sent multiple text messages and about 3 emails as I was also told I had until the day of to pay for the salon they provide and they would send me the code. I contacted them the day before and the day of trying to receive and pay the invoice and had received nothing in return. As I am dealing with this other wedding party (because the venue owner was unable to be reached) I am confronted with the fact that the table cloths I paid for from the venue where not there as well. We had our first look at noon and the owner finally arrives at 11:45 and helps herself uninvited into my bride's quarters and acts as if nothing has happened. She then tells me that she will gift me the salon. At this point my hair and makeup is already finished, I have my dress on, and all of my bridesmaids are ready and we are preparing to head out in 10 minutes for pictures. The tablecloths did end up arriving but were not what I paid for. We paid for floor length tablecloths and what I received barely hung over the tables but a foot. By the grace of God my friends and family were able to get my reception hall completed. During our wedding at about 5PM The owner arrives back to talk to me. I did not want to discuss anything with her at that moment due to my frustration and so my Husband talked with her for about 20 minutes. I then went in and talked to her and instead of just saying sorry and taking accountability for the situation that had happened she placed blame on the other couple that had shown up.I was also informed by the owner that her and her husband like to take weekends off from time to time. (I am sorry but if I paid $1300 to have a wedding at your venue; that is not the time to take off) A week later give or take when I went back to pick up my security deposit she told me that the reason my tablecloths were not there on time is because the lady who provides those said there was nobody to be found at the venue at 10AM which is absolutely ridiculous because I was there dealing with what I thought was going to end horribly. Then she told me that as compensation they would feature my wedding in the article for their venue in MetBride. When I emailed her asking the release date she informed me that is not what she said and she only promised it if they get featured again. So....All in all there is no way I would recommend this venue. It is absolutely beautiful and took my breath away when I walked in and The owner is a heck of a salesmen however, her overall customer service is possibly one of the worst I have ever dealt with and her ability to stick true to her word is even worse. -

I would not recommend this venue. I was mislead, lots miscommunication , and tricked. I decided not go with this venue a month before my wedding because they still had not fulfilled what they had promised, no plumping, very unreliable benches that were not stained, and grounds that were horrible and not landscaped. I still payed $1,000 for this venue and I received nothing but tears and a huge headache. I would give this place at least a good 2 or 3 years before you trust your extremely precious day to this venue and staff. -
