Amazing experience and photos

Grey Giraffe Collective was AMAZING to work with for my wedding reception. Communication was great over email and phone calls. Payment and photo delivery were easy and efficient. We only needed a half day and a single photographer and they were more than accommodating.

Alan made my husband and I feel extremely comfortable. I told Alan what I wanted for our portraits and he made it happen. Alan was extremely efficient with our time and made sure to capture every photo I requested.

Besides Alan's professionalism on the business side, the photos and his artistic vision for the photos and posing were everything I could have wanted and more. The photos feel very natural and authentic. I can feel the happiness through the photos.

Alan captured the beautiful landscape perfectly because I had emphasized how much the Utah mountains mean to us.

I would recommend Grey Giraffe to ANYONE. You should DEFINITELY hire them.

Alan and the Grey Giraffe team went above and beyond to capture our wedding day through photo, film, and video that I will cherish the rest of my life!!! 1000000% would we recommend hiring this crew :) (and especially having a second shooter for the wedding)

They made us feel comfortable behind the camera, captured all of the candid moments throughout the night, and beyond exceeded our expectations. All of our family and friends were also raving about how wonderful they were.

From the start of booking and answering my questions, to helping with timeline and the day of being flexible when it momentarily rained to delivering our wedding album, I was blown away by their professionalism and obvious experience.

I love how they captured not only the bride/groom/wedding party, but also all of our guests as we partied the night away. Their editing style is timeless and these images are forever going to be hung on our walls. The quality of work, ability to story tell, and effectively capture the various emotions throughout the day through these images is a testament to their skill level and craft.

I am so glad we chose to have them as apart of our wedding weekend!

The Grey Giraffe team and Alan are incredible and masters at their craft. I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful, elegant, and timeless our photos are; they are a work of art. We had our engagement and wedding photographed and honestly I wish we would have booked a formal session too! Exceeded expectations

Grey Giraffe was absolutely amazing and their photos show it. We spent hours sorting through different photographers and their photos just didn’t connect, until we were referred to Grey Giraffe and saw their work. They capture the essence and story of the wedding, as well as every detail. They are welcoming, inviting, and accepting. It also meant a lot that they are LGBTQ+ inclusive and don’t make you feel any different. The final edits were quick and exceeded expectations. They were worth every penny and now we can call them friends as well. We strongly recommend them for your perfect day.

Book grey giraffe now!

We chose them before we even had a venue and a date (breaking the cardinal rule) be Cvs’s us we were that sure after viewing their portfolio. Luckily, Alan made the date work and went above and beyond for us. We are so glad because the photos exceeded our already high expectations due to their portfolio. Alan and Whitney were an added plus on a personal level. They made us comfortable, they made us laugh, and added to our overall wedding experience. We actually enjoyed taking all of our photos! The result was more than we could have hoped for. Our photos are the perfect combination of posed and candid, wedding and art. If you’re looking for a sign regarding who to book, this is it! A New Fairytale

Grey Giraffe captured our wedding perfectly. Our photos looked straight out of a fairytale and we will treasure them forever. My hubby is picky when it comes to photography and when he saw Alan's photos, he had to have him at our wedding as our photographer. Alan and his wife were our two photographers and they both exceeded expectations! The only problem is is that it is going to be very hard to decide which photos are going on the wall as there are so many good ones! Thank you both!!!

Dreamy pictures we are so excited to look at forever!

Grey Giraffe was absolutely amazing to work with, and I would highly recommend them. From the first time I talked to Alan, I knew they would take care of us and we would get the incredible pictures to last our lifetime. We were planning our wedding out of state, and they made time for us when we were in town to do engagement pictures up in the mountains. For our wedding, we had two photographers, Whitney and Cali, and they were prompt, professional, and made us comfortable despite the cold January temps. We cannot thank you enough for your guidance, help, and braving the mountains and cold with us for such special, incredible pictures! Its hard to pick favorites as we love them all!

Amazing experience, beautiful photos!

Absolutely amazing!! Whitney shot our post-covid wedding celebration and captured us in a way that we hadn’t seen before. The pictures had us reliving the happy day. We didn’t have a traditional wedding but Whitney understood the vibe we were going for and took truly stunning pictures. She also made the experience relaxed and fun. We felt at ease taking the pictures and it was due to Whitney’s easygoing and fun approach to the whole thing. She captured moments at the reception that I had missed or even forgotten. She is lovely and I enjoyed the whole experience. I would HIGHLY recommend Grey Giraffe to anyone looking for photographers.

The best photographers!

Truly cannot say enough great things about our experience with Grey Giraffe! We planned our wedding long distance, and Alan and Whitney made sure they connected with us multiple times to get to know our personalities, listened to our photo/aesthetic preferences, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera for engagement photos and our wedding photos. Both our engagement photos and wedding were outside in the very cold and snowy weather, and they were just absolute rockstars about the elements, which I am so appreciative because the scenery is just stunning. We had an absolute blast with them and are so thrilled with every photo in our gallery. We also ordered prints and canvases with them and the quality is superb. Excellent Photos from Grey Giraffe

We had couples and family photos taken by Grey Giraffe. They were super responsive, reasonably priced and flexible. We had to be flexible on the shooting schedule, due to work and they worked with us. They were very fun to shoot with, and we felt like we could be ourselves and they captured our personalities on camera. Not only were they incredibly fun to shoot with, but they have a very special dynamic when working together that allowed for the best shots to come alive. Honestly - I was blown away every time I checked our portfolio for new pictures. We hired them for the full wedding package - engagements, bridals and full day-of and I wouldn't change a thing. They were responsive, punctual and professional. We received our engagement photos back within two weeks of shooting and our full wedding portfolio was completed in record time.

Grey Giraffe made our wedding photography dreams come true and MORE. No one compares to their quality and creativity. First, they are just the most fun people to hang out with. Intimate Wedding

Where do I even begin?! Words can’t express how much we love Alan and Whitney and how thankful we are for them! I came across Grey Giraffe Photography on Instagram and instantly fell in love with their work. My husband and I really wanted our day to be filled with adventure and intimate, and Alan & Whitney gave us that and more. Awesome people, incredible photos

Alan and Whitney were so incredible to work with. They came recommended after a friend's wedding and they did not disappoint. They were easy to contact with very fair pricing and lots of options for photography packages. Not to mention how accommodating they were given our last minute change of plans due to COVID. The Perfect Photographers!

Alan and Whitney are a joy to work with and phenomenal at what they do. We met them in March for our engagements and then had them capture our wedding in May. They were more than willing to work with us during all the COVID craziness as we made changes and tried to finalize plans. Communication was always timely.
Not only are they professional, but they are SO FUN to be around. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and caught so many fun candid moments at our wedding. We had several of our guests comment about how much they loved the photographers.
The images we got back from Grey Giraffe were beautiful and captured so many moments between my husband and I as well as our guests that we will cherish forever. You will not regret choosing Grey Giraffe!

Great photos and fun to work with!

Words can't express how great it was working with Alan and Whitney! We did an engagement shoot with them in February and then they shot our wedding 11 months later. Both experiences were flawless. Not only are we so happy with our photos but we had a fun experience along the way! They work well as a team and provide the right amount of guidance while also not making the experience "posed". We really felt like we were friends with them and trusted their advice along the way. They were also efficient yet made sure to get the important shots that we needed. For example, our wedding party was so happy that they didn't have to stand around for a long time for photos since it was cold out. I could really go on and on and I have zero regrets about working with them. I planned our wedding from Chicago so selecting vendors was really difficult and I'm so glad I found GG because we have the best pictures to remember our wedding weekend and engagements AND we had a great time working with them! Final note, I compared dozens of pricing packages and GG is fairly priced and worth the money. Save yourself the time researching and book them!

The Best Decision We've Ever Made!

We had the most amazing experience with Grey Giraffe Photography. Alan and Whitney were very quick to respond when we first reached out and they helped us customize a photography/videography package that was perfect for our wedding weekend. Alan shot our Engagements about a year before our wedding and did the most incredible job! We had never done a formal photo shoot together as a couple and he made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Alan was so in tune with our style and personalities and it shows in our photos.
Alan and Whitney made sure to check in with us through the months that followed and leading up until our Wedding. We opted to have two hours of photography for a welcome cocktail party the night before, and two photographers and a videographer for the entirety of our wedding day. We couldn't be happier with the results! We will forever be grateful for our wedding video and the hundreds of photos that so perfectly captured our day.
If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding, or any other event, do yourself a favor and hire Grey Giraffe. Hiring Alan and his team for our wedding was the best decision we've ever made!

FUN, sexy, creative, and unique

My fiance and I were initially nervous about taking engagement photos. It could have felt awkward and staged, but Whitney and Alan were so FUN and instantly put us at ease. Absolutely amazing to work with!

We had the pleasure of working with the Alan, Whitney and the Grey Giraffe team at our destination wedding in Utah. After we met them for the first time at our engagement shoot, we kept saying we were so happy we chose to work with them, and we knew working with them at the wedding was going to be so fun! Alan and his team had such a calm and fun demeanor, which is just what we needed during an otherwise chaotic weekend. We had an Indian wedding with 4 events and complicated timeline, and they honestly captured the most AMAZING photos the whole weekend. Absolutely loved my experience with Grey Giraffe! I am so glad I did my research and was choosy with my photographer, because now I have beautiful photos I can look back on for a lifetime. I love the artistic eye of the photographers and their ability to capture people an experiences through the images. Not only were the pictures excellent, but they were very easy to communicate and schedule with. They always got back to me quickly and were accommodating to any requests. Planning a wedding is so stressful, but I did not worry about photography at all. It is one of the few parts of the wedding that I was 100 % happy with.

Working with Alan and Whitney was an amazing experience! From the initial call and the first time we met, we knew we'd made the best choice for documenting our engagement and wedding. The greatest!!!

We booked Alan for our engagements and our wedding photos after seeing the Grey Giraffe portfolio. Their photos were the perfect blend of natural and warm, everything we envisioned for our wedding! Alan made our engagement photos as painless as possible for two people who don’t really know how to take photos. It was also snowing and 30 degrees and he didn’t complain once! I have had endless compliments on the photo gallery, and I’m thrilled that they will be shooting our wedding also!

PS- Alan also included a photo of my dad’s car in our album after I talked about what a car nut my dad was. This made for the most perfect Christmas gift! Thank you again Alan!!!

Amazing magic!

Alan and Whitney were an absolute joy to work with for our engagement and wedding photos. We reside in Washington, DC and planned a destination wedding in Park City, UT. This meant we had several calls/emails with potential photographers to get a sense of who we would be working with. My wife Lindsey and I instantly felt connected to the Grey Giraffe team from the first call. As we explored their website, and learned of their history, it was a no brainier to move forward. We flew out to Utah last April, and shot our engagement photos on Antelope Island. There were some unexpected challenges at first (Gnats everywhere!) but Alan was able to quickly adjust locations on the Island to deliver some absolutely stunning pictures. Our friends and family commented that many had never seen better engagement pics, from anyone. At the wedding, Grey Giraffe partnered with Forevermore Films with coverage throughout the day. Elopement!

What a truly upbeat, creative and caring duo! I cannot emphasize how truly memorable Whitney and Alan made our elopement photos — they took what is normally a chaotic, anxiety-laden process and made it a major highlight of our time in Utah. They let us lead and stepped in with guidance when we were out of ideas; there was zero judgement and total encouragement — we had the ultimate sense of being able to be ourselves, as if we were old friends and not having just met. The resultant pictures were phenomenal —literally everything we could hope for and more! They are truly a credit to their field and I cannot wait for the chance to work with them again!

Best Vendor!

From the first phone call to my crazy request after our wedding, Grey Giraffe Photography was the easiest vendor to work with by far! I really enjoyed having Alan and his assistant there with me as I felt like they were friends of mine and fit right in to the craziness of my family. :) Alan and Whitney both came to walk the venue you with us to make sure we got the right ceremony and family photo locations, keeping our wishes and lighting/backdrop in mind. So happy with this photographer!

Alan was a wonderful photographer for our wedding! I am a pretty low-key bride and I didn't have the energy/interest in really researching photographer options. We picked Grey Giraffe purely off of reviews and I felt so lucky! Alan was professional, easy to communicate with, and easy to work with. We did a formal shoot pretty close to the wedding date, and it was great just to have a little bit of time to get to know our photographer so there wasn't one more variable on our wedding day.

The photos from our formal shoot are so beautiful -- Alan really captured our vibe (outdoorsy, mountain-y, and low key). Can't wait to see the pictures from the wedding itself!

Daughters wedding

The pictures we received from Grey Giraffe look like they came out of a magazine! From engagements to the actual wedding day. We absolutely loved working with Grey Giraffe! Whitney and Alan were the most flexible, communicative, and professional vendors we worked with throughout the whole wedding process. I was really overwhelmed because this was a destination wedding, so there wasn't any time to do practice shoots- but honestly, it didn't matter with these two!! They made my husband/me feel so comfortable and captured our day perfectly. When our wedding party transportation was messed up, they were so flexible and pushed back their own dinner/break so they could capture pictures of the wedding party before the ceremony. Whitney and Alan were everything we wanted and more for our wedding! They were so professional and down to earth during the whole process. There was a 100% chance of rain on our wedding day, but Whitney encouraged me to try out our mountain pictures that we so badly wanted. They were so flexible, with Alan grabbing our umbrellas, running out of the shot, and then running them back to us after Whitney got the shot. The pictures I have seen so far are incredible! Beyond the formal wedding shots in the mountains, Whitney and Alan continued to go above and beyond at our venue. All of the guests commented on their ability to capture every guest and every moment of the wedding! They both made me feel at ease the entire day. I highly recommend hiring this duo for any event. I cannot wait to see all the photos and will definitely use their services again for my next picture needs!

Whitney and Alan did a better job than we could have ever imagined! To start they made the contracting process smooth and easy to understand. They offered many different options to fit our needs. Whitney was absolutely amazing to work with, with Grey Giraffe Photography. She was incredible professional, personable and calmed my nerves as a bride-to-be the moment we met. I met Whitney just a few hours before my wedding and she made me feel immediately at ease. I could tell she knew her stuff and she just set off capturing priceless moments from our day! About 30 minutes before our OUTSIDE wedding began, there was a total downpour! Whitney casually led my bridesmaids and I back inside while we waited it out. After the wedding, Whitney laid down her sweater, on the ground, so I could put my train on top of it without my dress getting dirty from the freshly muddied ground. She listened to all my requests for certain shots I wanted to get and captured each one. We felt Whitney was just part of our clan enjoying the evening with us and I would/will recommend anyone in need of a photographer to her! You will have no regrets!

We loved every minute with Alan and Whitney! They hadn't photographed at our desired location before, so they took the time to check it all out beforehand and find beautiful nearby locations to include in our bridals. When we met them the first time we were impressed that they were so professional but also completely delightful to work with! They were fun to watch as they'd find a creative shot and get so excited about it, doing whatever it took to to make a perfect photo.
We hired them because of their non-traditional, super creative approach, but on the day of the wedding, we did have some special requests for some particular 'traditional' shots. They were wonderful about making sure every request was fulfilled. Even the photos of the grandchildren are precious! Whitney and Alan can make anyone smile!

I've always admired Grey Giraffe's photography but when I received my finalized engagement photos, I was so happy with the result. Whitney was our photographer and she was amazing! Most photographers have you pose a certain way and tell you not to move which can make photo shoots way to awkward for my liking. Whitney told us to be ourselves and just have fun. One of the best parts of our wedding was working with and being photographed by Grey Girraffe Photography. Not only do they take beautiful pictures, but they become like family. I was always scared of having awkwardly posed engagement pictures. Whitney and Alan are skilled at making people feel comfortable and organic while taking pictures, they help to make natural emotions come alive in the pictures. One thing that sets them apart from other vendors is that they have strict important attention to detail, they help make sure hair and make up is in place, they recognize good places to shoot, and they always try to phograph “your good side.” They are also very organized and they are timely with getting out all prints. Now getting back my wedding pictures I feel that I can relive my wedding day which was captured so beautifully. I 10/10 recommend them!

We had researched and interviewed with many photographers, but it wasn't until we met with Grey Giraffe, that we knew we had found our photographers. Some reasons why we went with Grey Giraffe:
1. Their experience, style and professionalism sold us on why we went with them;
2. They edit and make sure that your photos are of professional quality;
3. All your photos are print quality. Most places that we spoke with wanted to nickle and dime you on access to your print quality photos, which is BS;
4. They are absolutely amazing people to work with. They sincerely want you to be happy with your photos and they want you to enjoy your day and experience;
5. They are flexible with ideas, times, etc. They really work hard to make sure that you are happy;
6. You get your pictures within the time they say you will get them;

Choosing a photographer for my own wedding was quite a process. I am a portrait photographer myself, so I was a stickler on who I chose to do my own wedding! Grey Giraffe was amazing. The photos are vibrant, clean, bright, and yet still natural. We had some particularly harsh lighting during our ceremony, but that did not keep Whitney from turning our ceremony pictures into something magnificent. We got so many photos back from each second of our wedding. Nothing was left un-photographed! Whitney and her team were so kind, great communicators, and efficient. We found Grey Giraffe on The Knot and interviewed several photographers in the Salt Lake area remotely for our planned elopement. Whitney communicated really well from the start and our initial conversation left us feeling really good about choosing her for our day. Whitney and her assistant Courtney were an absolute pleasure to share our very intimate wedding, along with Brad who Whitney suggested for Video. We felt very comfortable with all of them, they made us laugh and really worked well all together. They were all very flexible to work with last minute plan changes due to weather and was up with us at 7am in the morning to capture the small window of beautiful weather on our day. We were married up in the snowy mountains in a location that Whitney found for us and we had explored the day before. She made our day when she sent a few of the images literally 4 hrs later so we could share our special day with loved ones back home. And now we are thrilled to see the whole collection! Brad showed us a bit of video while he was shooting and we were already elated and can't wait for the video. All this to say we highly recommend Whitney! We could not be happier!!!

We love all the images that we got. This was by far the best money that we spent on the entire wedding.
We had a great time working with Whitney and everything was very easy. She had great communication at all stages. We would absolutely recommend her to our friends and family.
Neither of us are that into getting our photos taken that often so I was a little worried we wouldn’t get that many great shots that didn’t look super posed but Whitney was great on giving us direction and getting some great shots of us.
We got a package deal which involved an extra formal shoot. We were unable to fit this in around the time of our wedding in Utah and Whitney really went the extra mile finding time to fit in the shoot on a family holiday to our state (CA).
Turn around on getting all the images back was great, 9 weeks (with Thanksgiving and Christmas in there) and we did not have to do any chasing to get this.
Overall just a great experience and very relaxing.

Not only do I have an amazing finished product from Grey Giraffe, but Whitney was absolutely amazing! My Bridals where a great experience, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Whitney and a very memorable day. On my wedding day, I was a self-proclaimed scattered brained Bride and just trusted that Whitney would get amazing photos, which she did indeed. Our experience with Grey Giraffe was wonderful!! We had Whitney take our engagements and formals. Our entire wedding day was covered by Rachel. Both photographers were amazing! The styles match and the workflow truly makes the images turn out better than we ever thought they would! I was so happy with the quality of images, the professionalism, and most of all the ease in which these photographers made everyone feel behind the lens. Whitney is great to work with when booking, she is prompt, helpful and VERY understanding with schedules. I wanted my wedding photos to stand out and that's exactly what they did. We LOVE LOVE LOVED all of our images. I can't wait to go back to them again for pictures throughout all the wonderful events in our lives.

Within a day or two of the wedding, Whitney sent me a few fully-edited shots to whet our appetite. They were gorgeous and I was extremely confident in the final collection. We were married at the end of March and the final edited collection was ready by the end of May. Her website is extremely easy to use--you can download all of the pictures or select specific shots and even send a direct link to friends (who have the same download options). You can order prints in a variety of sizes and media (glossy/matte paper, etc. and I believe you could even print on wood?)

Whitney was extremely professional and very easy to get along with--she sent me an invoice to process payment and met with me a few times before the wedding to answer all the questions we had. Several friends even commented on her success at getting everyone together quickly and kindly. Do not skimp on your photos! And give your photographer, whoever it is, a full shot list--especially when it comes to groups of people (his friends, her friends, just his siblings, all grandparents, etc.)

Also, if you love letterpress, you'll die over her business card. Her graphic designer husband designed them.

Hiring Grey Giraffe photography was the best decision I made during the wedding planning process. From the initial consultation (which we accidentally missed but then were still treated like VIPS despite my negligence) to the wedding, everything was done to our satisfaction and wants. Whitney is not only an amazingly talented photographer that creates gorgeous works of art but is also the sweetest, most charming person! She has the ability to make any interaction feel like you are with an old friend. This translates beautifully in the pictures she captures as she helps us non-photogenic couples feel completely relaxed and each session felt as though we were hanging out with friends rather than getting pictures taken. Each session looked so natural and was captured perfectly.
Whitney’s husband, Alan, worked with us for a few months to design and perfect our save the dates which were gorgeous! We received so many compliments on these and Alan was so patient and helped me achieve my vision.
On the day of the wedding, Whitney, Alan, and Courtney were our wedding dream team. They worked so well together and all of the guests complimented their professionalism and the care they put into our day and their work. Whitney stood in and gave beauty advice when needed, held bouquets, fixed hair and accessories, and helped us to keep laughing the entire day. I plan to continue using Grey Giraffe for family photos as long as they will keep us around and will refer them to anyone and everyone.

Before I was even engaged I knew I wanted Grey Giraffe as our photographer. I've long admired their work and now after using them, my admiration has grown even more. They did a fantastic job on our engagement photos with some dramatic scenery behind us up Big Cottonwood Canyon. And then our wedding photos was just plain out beautiful. I loved all of them. They also did a great job on the big group shots which are hard to do. Between great photography and great customer service, I'd recommend them again and again.

Whitney and Grey Giraffe was absolutely amazing, and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. It's hard choosing a wedding photographer because you only get one shot (no put intended) at capturing the day, and you should feel at ease after choosing Grey Giraffe they were just that good. Whitney was the first and only photographer I met with to discuss shooting my wedding. I fell in love with her photos and her fun, bubbly personality instantly. She and her assistants were such a pleasure to work with on my wedding day and made taking pictures a joy instead of a task. My husband made a comment that Whitney did a great job telling him and his groomsman how to pose which made their picture taking super-efficient. She took amazing detail shots, action/dancing photos, and formals. I honestly couldn't be happier with my photos and the care taken in editing each one. Whitney and her assistants were on time and they were very awesome to talk to and have at our wedding! They are fun and have great ideas for pictures! She can do amazing things with what she’s given. The sun was setting and it was dark out, and you can’t even tell. I’ve even had people tell me they look like our pictures are straight out of a wedding magazine. I loved having them there capturing the happiness of our big day. I highly recommend Whitney and her crew!

We came all the way from Belgium to get married in Mexican hat , near Monument Valley.
It was a small intimate Wedding.

It was a pleasure working with Whitney and Alan
such nice and warm people!
They are very professional en flexible. ( they drove over 6 hours to our location )
They kept it interesting, creative and we had a lot of fun.

I loved that the photos do not look fake or cliché.
They captured the beauty of our location and the romance of our wedding day.
Whitney showed that she truly loves what she's doing and she puts her heart into her work.

Having Grey Giraffe photograph our engagement session, bridals, and wedding was the best decision we made after getting engaged! Whitney photographed all 3 occasions and she did a phenomenal job. She has such a creative eye and really knows what she's doing when it comes to getting the perfect shot. Her editing skills are amazing as well! All of the photos we have received we've loved because they are honest yet very flattering. For our engagements/bridals she brought along assistants which were helpful. For the wedding we chose the option to have a second photographer for the ceremony and part of the reception, so Alan (Whitney's husband who is equally as awesome!) worked with Whitney this day. We just got married so we haven't seen those photos yet but we can't wait! For our engagements/bridals Whitney asked what we had in mind for a location and suggested many gorgeous places. Did I mention her personality is the best?! We felt super comfortable through all sessions and shared a ton of laughs. Thanks again for making this whole process so enjoyable and memorable for us!

If you still looking for a photographer, then no need to keep looking because Grey Giraffe is a MUST to work with.

We feel so lucky to have had Whitney as our wedding photographer. She was always so responsive and happily worked with all of our requests. She even suggested some gorgeous locations on where we can take some photos before the ceremony. She provided coverage from the late morning to the middle of our reception with the exception of a few much needed breaks. We didn't get a videographer for our wedding so we felt it was important to have at least 7-8 hours of coverage. The cost to have that much coverage was extremely reasonable compared to other local photographers with the same level of experience. Her assistant Courtney was also amazing to work with and we shared lots of laughs with them throughout the day. Both of them did a wonderful job in making sure they captured all of the important moments. We are so excited to see all of our photos very soon!!

I would absolutely use this photographer again! Whitney Wilbur is very talented and super easy/fun to work with. Most importantly, my photos were amazing! My husband and I usually aren't too photogenic, but our pics were great! We used her for the wedding photos and engagement photos. Try her! She's awesome!

Alan Captured Our Day So Well

We were excited to book Grey Giraffe after looking at reviews and their portfolio. Alan was so kind and patient during the whole process. Every photo he took was beautiful, from the bridal details to our guests dancing. He told us from the start that he focuses on telling the story and capturing those candid moments, and he excelled at this. It took about 12 weeks for the photos to be delivered, but they were worth the wait!

Amazing! - Highly Recommend

Alan was PHENOMENAL! Our wedding was August at Solitude and Alan was nothing short of amazing the entire weekend. We planned our wedding from afar and he was very professional and organized leading up to the big weekend. We had a chance to meet him for the first time over coffee several days before our wedding, and immediately made us very excited. Since my husband and I wanted to do a first look before the wedding, I ended up spending a fair amount of time with Alan as he snapped getting ready pictures and then drove me to the first look spot. Not only did he pick the perfect location for pictures, but he was so genuinely kind the entire day. His eye was fantastic - our pictures are a perfect blend of artsy, whimsical and classic. We are THRILLED with our pictures and couldn't ask for a better photographer.

Absolutely horrible experience!

We hired Grey Giraffe Photography about 3 months before our wedding. About one month before the wedding the owners, husband and wife team, Alan and Whitney, said they would not be able to make it as something had come up, but they had a stand-in who worked for them by the name of Alyssa. We incorrectly assumed that they would fill Alyssa in on what we wanted and the vision we had of what photos/shots we wanted. Alyssa took forever to get back with us or even respond to our emails, but eventually confirmed via email that she received our "shot" list. She only got about half of our shot list and missed an extremely one-time only shot that was requested and often repeated, including by our wedding coordinator and the bride right before the ceremony. A lot of the photos are blurry, and she continuously used a garage as our background even though we were at a very beautiful mountain wedding venue. We did not move from the garage until we specifically asked to. She also did not get one single shot of just us (the bride & groom) facing the camera. The only direction we received was “Look lovingly at each other”, and “You’re naturals, keep doing that.” By looking at the photos sent to us, there is little to no variation of poses, just us looking at each other. Not one traditional portrait pose. This is not what we had discussed with the owners, but never had the opportunity to discuss with Alyssa our replacement photographer. We tried contacting Grey Giraffe Photography after we received our photos and realized they were not what we had agreed upon with Alan and Whitney, but they have completely ignored our emails. We do not recommend them, at all.
