Ahhhhmazing!

Greg was so nice and so easy to work with. He nailed our music taste and kept everyone dancing. I had a couple unique songs that weren’t in his data base and he added them and played them no questions asked. I can’t say enough about how great he was to work with.

DJ Greg Powers is Amazing!

DJ Greg Powers is Amazing! He played at my wedding on September 29, 2019 and not only was I impressed with his music, but my guests kept complimenting on how much they loved the songs that he played! I must truthfully say that planning my wedding fell all neatly into place except for my song choices with my DJ. I had such a hard time selecting what songs to play and was so nervous that my wedding was going to be ruined.
I only chose two songs and Greg did the rest. It was amazing that I could just relax and enjoy my wedding day and have Greg take over! He really was just amazing. I highly recommend using him and his services!!!!!!

Greatest Party Ever

From day we started planning our wedding, my wife and I were told that a good DJ makes the wedding. After being to more than a few weddings we realized how true this was, and we became determined to find the best DJ we could. Greg Powers was recommended to us by our venue and we are so glad that he was! He was more than accommodating when it came to working out the details of the wedding day and he was constantly assuring us that we had nothing to worry about and he would make everything go flawlessly. From the sound quality of the ceremony to the packed dance floor of the reception, Greg was super professional and always seemed to be on top of his game. I can't tell you how many people came up to us and told us how great the DJ was and how amazing the soundtrack was for the reception. You can really tell Greg loves what he does because he was behind his table dancing and singing along to just about every song! It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm from him. He really knows how to read a crowd and play what everyone wants to hear! Absolutely incredible DJ. Thank you so much Greg, you really did make our wedding fantastic and so special.

Greg did a great job at our wedding - We did not have a lot of time to plan the wedding, so we basically told him to play some great party music, and he did! It was great to have an experienced professional to rely on

Greg did an excellent job as our DJ! He and Deb were both easy to work with/communicate with leading up to the big day, and at the wedding he did a great job keeping the energy up and the dance floor full!

Amazing Wedding DJ!

Greg was phenomenal! He brings years of experience to the table and it definitely shows. We were able to communicate effectively throughout our entire wedding preparation process and he even helped us finalize our order of events, something we had be wavering on a bit.

Beyond preparation, Greg is an amazing DJ. On our wedding day, he helped us stay on time, communicated with guests and played music keeping the party going all night long! Many of our guests have commented on how impressed they were with his organization, personality and flare for fun!

Can't say enough about our experience and would highly recommend his services to anyone who is looking for an affordable DJ who knows how to make your wedding day truly special!

Good communication, great DJ!

Greg really listened to what we wanted for our wedding day and did a flawless job. We are so happy we hired him to be our DJ! He was easy to communicate with leading up to our wedding, even planning from across the country. He played all our requested songs and was an excellent MC as well.

Awesome even for a unique wedding!

Greg and Deb were absolutely awesome. We worked with Deb for about a year before the wedding with bookings and arrangements. Both Deb and Greg were super accommodating. We had a morning garden party/lawn game/ brunch wedding. Greg was able to provide music and sound for our ceremony, music for our indoor reception and outdoor speakers for our games. Greg was able to get all the music I requested and changed the style of music based on what was going on with our day.
Greg really went above and beyond. He even dressed in his Kentucky Derby outfit to match our wedding guests. We 100% recommend Greg!

Super awesome DJ & would definitely recommend to anyone in ME!

My husband and I had attended multiple weddings with Greg Powers as the DJ and he really knows how to keep the party going! He did not disappoint for our own wedding and the night was an absolute blast and he had everyone on the dance floor. It was packed! 100% would recommend for your wedding entertainment!

The consummate DJ Pro!

From start to finish, Greg was amazing to work with. All of our pre-wedding planning was easy and straightforward. He was responsive and undaunted by any of our logistical challenges. Greg helped with audio for the ceremony and was our primary music entertainment for the reception--and we couldn't be happier with either service. He followed the vibe of the reception and the guests, he was flexible, and fun. We'd highly recommend him for any event but especially a special day like your wedding.

Greg was great! He set up sound and microphones at both the ceremony in a field and the reception at a barn. We provided Greg with two Spotify playlists for the cocktail hour and the ceremony and he was really able to enhance the vibe we were going for. So many of our guests came up to us during the evening and said they loved what he was playing. He did a great job of keeping guests of all ages on the dance floor. Highly recommend Greg!

Greg Powers was the ideal DJ for our wedding. We had shared a few sample songs of the music vibes we were going for at the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing and Greg was able to create the perfect mix based off our style. He is professional, friendly, and made our reception flow seamlessly. We would recommend Greg to anyone in search of a full dance floor (our venues dance floor was so packed that it had split in half. Greg took it upon himself to get out there to repair it!). Can’t say enough good things! Thank you, Greg!

Greg was awesome. From the beginning I loved that his personality was so easy going, and he knew all the ins and outs about making a wedding reception flow. I had it in my mind that I would have to make the entire playlist for the day from the cocktail hour to the reception, but I named a few songs and he filled in the rest! That took a huge amount of work that I wasn't even cut out to do off my plate. He owns an A/V company, so all his equipment was top notch. (Never any mic feedback, no static in the speakers!) He even edited our first dance song down to a length we were comfortable with. That was a huge bonus. He's extremely professional, but also just a cool dude!! Don't go with the big agencies that give you the awkward sales pitch and hook you up with a random DJ; use Greg!

Greg and his wife, Deb, were absolutely amazing to work with and incredibly flexible! We had to change the date, and even then we changed the time of our event and when we needed him about 10 times and they were incredibly flexible and responsive. We used Greg for our ceremony music, cocktail hour and the reception and everyone raved about what a great DJ he was. We had guests literally from infants to grandparent in their 80s so he played a very good range of music to mix it up and please everyone. I had a lot of comments from guests about how great it was to not hear only one type of music! I went with Greg because he had amazing reviews, and I m glad we did! He kept our event on schedule the entire night and had everyone dancing, even those friends that "just don't dance" :) Oh, and we also rented a Karaoke machine from them for our after-party at our venue and it was a HUGE hit! Thank you Greg and Deb for helping make our day SO. MUCH. FUN!

I’m a big music and dance party lover and was a little nervous about hiring a dj who would understand my sensibilities. As soon as I met Greg, I knew I was in good hands. He was so easy going and open minded and instinctively knew how to read the crowd. We danced all night - I’ve never seen my father - who is a music snob - dance so hard and at the end he said “I didn’t want it to stop!”
Thank you Greg - you were the perfect guy for us and I will refer you to everyone because you are such an amazing, professional and talented dj!!!

Greg was amazing! DJ’s have long been a fear of mine as it is not often one is lucky enough to find a great one! All 80 of my guests raves about the music through every step of the wedding and I it provided endless comfort knowing that my guests were happy! Greg and his team were informative, great listeners and full of wonderful ideas! I was treated like an absolute princess and that is really what every bride wants! - my husband also enjoyed the music and loved what Greg brought to the event!

Wow. Greg was incredible. My husband and I weren't sure about hiring a DJ, but the references that we received for Greg were beyond compare, so of course we hired him. It was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. Greg was a true professional. He was also so friendly and very accommodating. We had an outdoor ceremony, then a nearby outdoor cocktail hour, then a nearby indoor reception. He managed to play all of the music we wanted at each location without missing a beat (literally!). During the reception, he played all of our requested songs plus some that we hadn't even thought of (and we perfect). He really knows how to keep a dance floor packed and dancing! Thank you, Greg!

The whole process of hiring, communicating, and working with Greg was super easy. He looked and acted very professional during the wedding. He played great mood music for dinner and cocktail hour and transitioned very well to keep people on the dance floor the entire time. Very clear and easy to understand voice on the microphone. He was also super flexible as I texted him the day before the wedding with a song change. I would highly recommend hiring Greg for your wedding!

Greg was absolutely fantastic - everything went off without a hitch and we've never seen a dance floor fill out so quickly. He worked with us on the types of music we wanted to have played and definitely customized the night based off our tastes and we couldn't have been happier. We were incredibly impressed with his MC'ing and felt like we could trust him throughout the entire process. I would heavily recommend Greg to anyone, you can't go wrong.

My Husband and I were thrilled with the service provided by Greg Powers. Cocktail/Dinner music was great. Once the dancing started his music selections were perfect! There were a few instances where a song would come on that we weren't fans of. We would signal to him and he was would make a smooth/discrete transition to a new song. Had many guest come up and say how amazing they thought the music was. Greg definitely helped make our Wedding memorable.

Greg was exactly what we were looking for. We were able to meet with him twice before the wedding to go over what we were looking for, he was very flexible and obviously experienced. Greg Powers is an excellent DJ who did an excellent job at our wedding! We found he has an excellent feel for the room being able to play diverse selection of music that gets the crowd pumped up. Best choice ever. We had a hard time planning our wedding as our coordinator was extremely unresponsive and didn't assist with timelines, what to expect, how to plan it, and all other bits and pieces of the big day. Greg stepped in and room over on our big day. I am not joking when I saw that without him our big day wouldn't have gone as well as it did. He gave us guided directions, worked so well with my elderly parents, and saved our day, literally. I couldn't recommend him more. You are missing out if you don't book Greg...

I really can't say enough great things about Greg! He was so easy to work with, he and his wife Deb made my long-distance planning completely stress-free with their prompt responses to emails and easy-to-use website which allowed us to select songs. We spoke on the phone about a week before the big day to go over all the last-minute details and hit it off right away, I knew we'd made the right choice! He knew exactly what we were looking for, I couldn't have asked for a better MC or DJ! A DJ can really make or break a reception, and Greg sure made ours a big hit! He kept things flowing effortlessly throughout the night and kept the dance floor packed with friends and family of all ages. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests about how much fun the whole night was and how awesome our DJ was- what more can you ask for? I would absolutely recommend Greg Powers Agency to anyone and everyone. His professionalism and skill at creating and sustaining a fun atmosphere through the whole night can't be beat! Greg was our wedding DJ and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the very first time we met him, he was very friendly and welcoming. He was excited about all of our ideas for what we wanted in our reception, and very professional and responsive to emails and phone calls. Our wedding reception was SO fun, packed dance floor, great music, Greg kept the energy up and everyone had an amazing time! His price was very affordable as well! We highly recommend him!

Greg did a fantastic job for us. Everybody was dancing and cheering. Everything went as planned. Very professional. He makes sure he understands your needs prior to the wedding. I really liked how he set the volume of the music so it is loud enough to enjoy but people still were able to talk to each other with ease. He is your guy for a classy wedding.

He keeps the party going - the dance floor is alway full and everyone is having a great time! He works well with the other vendors who are onsite - is always helpful and is a great partner to work with. Seriously need to consider booking him for the best time for you and your guests.

Great DJ at very reasonable price, excellent experience. Did music and lapel mic for ceremony. Ran 2 set ups for cocktail hour and dinner/dance party. We gave him some songs to show out tastes and he played great music for dining and dancing. Was flexible to extend the party into overtime. Overall, strongly recommend.

Working with Greg was an absolute pleasure. He’s incredibly nice and totally professional. He scheduled a meeting with us before our wedding during which we talked about our vision for how the music would feature in the ceremony, and what we’d like to hear during the cocktail hour and the reception, and he was accommodating and enthusiastic about our suggestions. He has very high-quality equipment (he used two rigs for our wedding: a small one for the ceremony, and his full set-up for the reception), and it sounded absolutely great. He was a perfect MC, and the introductions and speeches flowed perfectly. But most importantly, he had a ton of people out on the dance floor THE WHOLE TIME. His set was absolutely inspired, and he played to crowd perfectly. We were lucky that our wedding went off without a hitch, but the thing about which we were complimented THE MOST was how good the DJ was. You will not regret working with Greg Powers. We can’t recommend him highly enough.

We were thrilled with Greg as our wedding DJ. Both being musicians, Greg let us take the reigns and chose the majority of the music. He made great suggestions and was open to all our ideas. He was willing to buy any songs he didn't own in his already expansive library. He set up white uplighting as well as providing the DJ services, which added a beautiful ambiance. He was a great "MC" and helped the evening run smoothly through all the various events. He was responsive and communicated well, making him very easy to work with, not to mention just genuinely a nice guy. He was incredibly reasonably priced for the services he provides and the amount of experience he has.

We were incredibly happy with Greg's work! Deb (his wife) is extremely responsive and handled the communication and small details for the wedding. They also send you an interactive form to use to personalize the music you like, don't like, and the songs you want to play at different points in the day. Our wedding (Greg emceed our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) could not have run smoother--Greg went out of his way to make sure he had our details down. He kept our guests on the dance floor all night and played the music that we really liked. He also went out of his way to get a specific version of a song I wanted. Thank you Greg and Deb for helping us have the perfect ceremony and reception!!! We hired Greg to DJ our wedding and we could not be happier with out choice. He was so much fun. He kept the night running smooth. He is a down to earth fun guy with lots of experience in the music industry (look up Santa rap on YouTube) including DJing, karaoke, lighting and he has done so many awesome events(including some acting).

He was easy to work with and easy to get a hold of. I loved his website for clients, in which I got to create my playlist for the night, create an itinerary for the night and input lots of other information to plan our celebration. He gets an email everytime you update things with your personal login.

On the day of our event he set up lovely uplighting that highlighted our venue. He had a light show behind his DJ booth. He kept the crowd dancing and engaged in the festivities. The place was big so we had some difficulty hearing him in he back. He did some late night karaoke, complete with all the words music and mics. He took song requests and kept an upbeat vibe with the occasional love song for the happy newly weds.

I would recommend him for any event. He was awesome!

Greg (and his wife Deb) are amazing!!! We found Greg through Yelp and sent him an email for information on his services. The response was prompt and within a few days I had a call with Greg to discuss. He was easy to talk to and you can tell he loves what he does. You cannot beat their price! They use an online planing form which is easy to use and awesome. You can go in as many times as you want to add songs and wedding details. The Wednesday before the big day I had a great chat with Greg to review the information I put online and discuss the finer details of the day. Everything was perfect!! He got our style and taste down pat and he had the whole room dancing all night long! Everyone had so much fun and commented on how awesome the music and lighting was! I cannot recommend Greg enough, you will not be disappointed!

Greg got with my daughter, the bride, just before the wedding to go over all her details. He had a questionnaire which covered her wants and those things she did not want in her reception. He provided the music for the wedding, the cocktail hour and the reception. He was prompt, professional, reasonable in price and it was all in all a great experience. A bride would simply be silly not to seek out Greg as her DJ. Very pleased.

Simply put, Greg is absolutely PHENOMENAL. He was was so incredibly easy to work with. Greg made our day considerably more special by taking stress off our plate by entertaining our guests for 8 hours straight (ceremony, cocktail hour/dinner and dancing). I never saw him sit down, always moving, talking to guests, ushering people along, enjoying himself and all with a smile. He made the day feel 110% personalized for us.

There is no way I would go with another DJ in the state of Maine. He's the absolute best. And couldn't have been nicer.

Oh, and worth noting he brought the house down with 3 consecutive hours of amazing/on-point music.

Greg Powers Agency was AMAZING. Right from the very beginning, Deb was extremely quick to respond to all of my questions and emails and I was never left guessing about anything when it came to my wedding. I was very careful when searching for a DJ because I didn't want a cheesy DJ with disco balls and flashing lights at my wedding. I wanted it to be elegant and fun and Greg Powers Agency exceeded my expectations in every way. He knew exactly when to play which songs to keep the dance floor alive and he would throw in his comments every once in a while that made everyone laugh. The majority of my guests were commenting all night long about how awesome the DJ was, how professional and funny he was, and how they are going to recommend him to everyone they know! The online interactive website that Greg sent me to make my playlist was very easy to use and there were even places on there to put your timeline for the wedding and all of your plans and names of your family and bridal party. It showed me that Greg Powers Agency is well organized and they definitely know what they're doing! Deb and Greg were SO VERY extremely nice and so very accommodating. I absolutely LOVED my wedding night and would HIGHLY recommend Greg Powers Agency to anyone who asks me!

Greg was a fantastic DJ! He had our guests dancing the entire night - people barely sat down! Everyone loved the mix of songs that he played. He was very accommodating and could find all of the songs that we wanted during the ceremony and the reception, even some that were pretty hard to find (i.e. my YouTube only walking down the aisle music). He was also great about staying away from certain things at our request (do not play lists, group dances, cheesy wedding games). Greg made sure everything went right, double checking the pronunciation of our wedding party names, songs, etc. He was also good about catering to us coming in from out of state and scheduled phone calls for us to discuss things. Another great thing was that he has a website when you book him so that you can plan everything online and submit it to him through the website. That came in very handy. Last but not least, he was able to cater to our karaoke-loving needs! Our guests (and especially my husband) loved it! Greg really made it a party!

Greg was fantastic! He was easy to work with, very professional, and is 100% committed to making sure the guests have fun! He has a very intuitive website that allows you to choose up to 50 of your own songs that he guarantees to play. He did a great job of mixing that playlist with other fun music that kept all of my guests dancing. People of all ages were on the dance floor having the best time!

He also did a good job of feeling out the crowd and if they weren't enjoying a certain song he would switch it up. He charges a very reasonable price and traveled a few hours (by car) to get to my wedding. He played music for the ceremony cocktail hour and reception, as they were all in the same place.

He's a friendly guy and clearly knows what he's doing- he seemed to enjoy watching all of my guests have a great time. I would recommend him to anyone and would certainly call him again!

Greg was a fantastic DJ. He was great about meeting with us before the wedding, and his wife is great about answering questions via phone calls/emails. I had to be hospitalized 2 days prior to the wedding. Greg was great about picking songs for us at the last minute, and his wife responded to all my frantic emails. I missed our final meeting due to my illness, but we had a phone conversation and everything was perfect at the wedding. The mix of fast and slow songs was perfect. There were enough slow songs for the couples, but everyone had fun dancing to the fast music. The songs he played during dinner were perfect. He read the group very well and changed things based on that. Our friends reported that when they went up to make a request, Greg was very kind and respectful. He was willing to play their requests and work it into his playlist. He did everything we requested of him, including adding a late mother son dance. My husband and his mom both said that he picked a perfect song. Greg made announcements as necessary and kept the reception flowing well.

Best DJ all around!! Our wedding was amazing. He was very accomidating, professional and energetic, but not too over the top. My biggest concern wasn't the flowers, or the food, or expensive decorations. It was having a blast. All I wanted was for my husband and I and all our guests to have a ton of fun and that was accomipished by having such an awesome DJ. Not a single person was sitting after dinner. I had Greg ad my DJ, and he was awesome! He was so great to work with. Great personality, flexible and so easy going.

He payed attention to what you liked, and even when I had no clue what to play for half of the wedding, including the ceremony, he had perfect suggestions.

He's very professional, knows how to work with the crowd and gives you what you want in a DJ.

He played from a list of songs I had for suggestions from guests mixed with whatever he felt would work with my crowd. This also wasn't easy because I was 28 and my husband was 46. So we had a range of music that had to be meshed together, and he did a great job getting all the ages out on the floor.

I would HIGHLY reccommend Greg Powers as your DJ, you will get your money worth and be completely satisfied!

Looking back upon the many weddings I've attended over the years, central themes such as decor, food and music stand the test over time so you shouldn't sacrifice in this regard. Greg Powers DJ'd my wedding on September 15th in Maine and I couln't have been more impressed with his responsiveness, flexibility and aptitude to transform a wedding to suit its guests. For instance, Greg and I conversed multiple times before the wedding date by email and phone to ensure that minute details were covered since I couldn't account for them on the wedding day. He even gave me his cell phone number for unfettered access prior to the weekend events. In addition, when we decided at the last minute that we needed a speaker system for speeches at the rehearsal dinner, Greg was immediately available and provided the equipment that was outside of our original DJ contract. Finally, during the reception he quickly assessed that a majority of our guests were young friends and selected the dance music accordingly to entice everybody to the dance floor; a rare feat when you have 15 year olds and 80 year olds in the same room. If I had to coordinate a wedding again, Greg would be an easy choice.

I cannot even imagine our wedding without Greg. We wanted a party and he delivered. There is not one person who did not have a blast and most people have said it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended. While there were other factors, Greg played a HUGE role.

Greg was very intentional about personalizing our wedding for us. While there were a couple mistakes he worked hard to fix them and make our wedding perfect. No one ever stopped dancing the whole night and we would definitely use him again!

Danny Dibase was great! He did our ceremony and reception music, and everyone on their feet all night. He was very flexible with our special requests and helpful.

Greg Powers was the DJ at our wedding and he did a great job. He was extremely professional, was very good at acting as the MC of the reception, and kept everyone dancing all night. We highly recommend him!

Danny Dibiase from the Greg Powers Agency was our wedding DJ. He did a great job playing songs we liked and weaved in appropriate similar music that we hadn't requested but loved. He also did a fantastic job of playing music that was more appealing to all ages earlier in the night, and as the older guests left and it got later, he played more and more music that our friends loved. He kept people on the dance floor until the very end, and I got compliments from some of our older guests that they really appreciated the wide selection of music we played earlier in the evening. Danny also did a fantastic job transitioning from dinner music (jazz standards) to dance music.

A few things we were disappointed with were that my fiance specifically asked that one of the toasters be announce as his colleague rather than his boss, and Danny announce him as the boss. Danny also had a hard time pronouncing the the groomsmen's and groom's parents' names during the introduction (although, to be fair, their names were foreign: Persian, Swedish, and Russian).

Our bus driver was giving Danny a hard time about ending the music because the driver thought the bus was due to leave an hour earlier than the time we arranged, and a relative of mine noticed that Danny was not as nice to the bus driver as possible in response. But in speaking with Danny later, he said that the driver had been quite rude to him. In addition, a friend of mine asked Danny to end on a different song that was more approriate (the last song was going to be a rap song) and she wasn't happy with how he responded to her either. But, when my husband went and backed up her request, Danny was fine with complying. These were both difficult situations for the DJ to be in, however, I feel that he could have responded a bit more politely, even if the answer was still "no", hence the professionalism score of 4 out of 5.

Danny likes to do his pre-wedding conversation the week before the wedding, which might leave some brides a little nervous. However, his music knowledge and ability to read the audience is impeccable, so I'd recommend telling him about some music you like, and a general progression for the evening, and letting him run with it.

If you want additional services, like a Mic for the minister, etc, Danny is responsive but a little bit vague as to what he can provide and for how much, wanting to push the decision off until the pre-wedding meeting. For me, that was too late, so we ended up renting the additional equipment through our caterers.

If I had to choose a DJ again, I would definitely pick Danny because the music was *fantastic*. However, I'd provide any difficult names or special introduction requests in writing further in advance so he had more time to review them.
