If you’re looking to elevate your event with truly beautiful live music, then you should absolutely hire these talented ladies. They didn’t just play at our daughter’s wedding—they helped create the heart of it and made it even more magical. They were also wonderfully professional—punctual, easy to communicate with, and entirely self-sufficient. Their rich, elegant sound created a moment we will remember forever. We are so grateful for their talent and presence on what was such an important day. -

We absolutely loved the Green Taylor Ensamble for our wedding. Fran and I collaborated on the song selections, and the team was more than willing to learn additional songs we requested. On the day of our wedding, the ensamble was very adaptive to an inconvenience and I couldn’t have been more pleased to know they were able to accommodate. They are all wonderfully kind and talented musicians! Thank you for being a part of our special day. -

Fran and Liz performed beautifully at our wedding. We had them for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They timed out the music perfectly for each segment of our ceremony from the prelude to me walking down the aisle at the perfect moment in the song Ave Maria. During the planning process Fran was very responsive and helped me pick out the music for our ceremony with a list of ideas and happily performed songs not on the list that I requested! Our guests raved about their performances.
Having live musicians made the day feel like a romantic fairytale come to life. I would recommend Green Taylor Ensemble to anyone getting married in Vermont! -

Such a Lovely violin/cello Duo at our Small Backyard Wedding
Fran and Liz played at our small intimate backyard wedding in August 2025 they played for our ceremony and into our cocktail hour. They were so incredible, extremely responsive and very easy to work with and helpful when sorting through song choices (which they have so many of) & alll other details! Not only was their music fantastic but they are both very sweet people. The music truly set the tone for the ceremony and drinks after the wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them! Thank you again for helping our dream day come to life! We couldn’t recommend them enough to play at your event!! -

Green Taylor Ensemble - Best Decision Made!
We hired Green Taylor Ensemble as they were a recommended vendor by our venue. We went with the duo option - which was perfect for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Fran was very responsive, and I knew they were the perfect option because they were willing to learn Daylight by Taylor Swift!
Because of the rain we ended up having an indoor ceremony and Green Taylor Ensemble did an outstanding job!! So happy we went with them. It added a magical touch as we talked down the aisle.

We worked with Green Taylor Ensemble to provide ceremony and cocktail hour music for our son's wedding. Fran was amazing to work with leading up to and during the wedding ceremony. She was quick to respond to any questions we had, and even accommodated a special song request from our son and daughter-in-law. When onsite, the entire ensemble was friendly, professional, and wonderful to work with. Our guests commented on the beautiful ceremony music and also the great song selections after the ceremony. I highly recommend the Green Taylor Ensemble! -

They're wonderful to work with and were more than happy to consult on song choices and customize them to fit our needs. Communication with Fran was easy, prompt and professional. They're talented musicians and a timeless choice for any Vermont wedding. We would 100% recommend. -

My whole life, I have been dreaming of my wedding day. But not how it would look, more so how it would feel.
If there's one thing I know, it's that music changes the way you interact with the world. Without Janet, Fran, and Jody on our day, I'm not sure it would have been the same. Yes, it would have been loving and thoughtful and dreamy, but I'm not sure it would have had that *zing*. The special something; you know, that thing you can't quite put your finger on but know it made the moment so much brighter, more romantic, full of life. They somehow managed to love our wedding day as much as we did, which is really all you can ever hope for in a vendor. If you have the chance to work with them, please do. Not for us but for you. So that you can also have a wedding day full of magic and delight, like we were lucky to have. Because of them.
And if you have a chance, have them sign your guest book. Theirs was one of our favorite notes of all.

Fran and Janet did an amazing job performing at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at the Barn at Smugglers’ Notch. Communication was excellent throughout the process and they even learned one song at our request. We couldn’t have asked for a better Violin/Cello duo to help us celebrate our wedding. We can’t thank you enough and our guests have been raving about you ever since.

We booked the Green Taylor Ensemble for our wedding this February and were incredibly impressed with their performance. Not only did they provide a phenomenal accompaniment for our ceremony, but they were also extremely flexible with us having to reschedule our wedding during COVID. I could not recommend them highly enough if you are planning a wedding in Vermont!! -

The Green Taylor Ensemble really helped set the mood for our ceremony. Our guests loved being greeted by the string trio as they sat down, and the songs they played during the processional and recessional were perfect. We appreciated the group's willingness to learn a couple of new songs just for us! The trio were so professional to work with and very covid-conscious! They always responded to emails right away and answered our (many) questions. We would absolutely recommend them!! -

We hired the Green-Taylor Ensemble to provide cello and violin music for our ceremony and cocktail reception. Throughout planning and execution, they were a delight to work with - very responsive, thoughtful, and professional. They accommodated my recessional request easily and it was so clear that they had the experience to really know how to make the day special. Day-of, the music was beautiful - it set exactly the atmosphere we were looking for and we were so delighted to hear their arrangement of "Love on Top" as we walked back down the aisle. Wholeheartedly recommend! -

Beautiful music
Fran and Janet played music for our microwedding ceremony, our guests all loved having live music. Fran and Janet were extremely flexible, accommodating for the songs we wanted, and even adding an extra song since my make-up took longer than expected. We would 100% recommend Fran & Janet! -

We would absolutely recommend Fran and Janet. They took our wedding on with short notice and even managed to learn a special song (and play it twice to be sure we got to enjoy it!). We really appreciated their thoughtfulness, professionalism and responsiveness throughout the process. Their music was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. -

The ensemble was wonderfully professional, talented, communicative, and flexible. We had a smaller wedding due to the pandemic and they worked with us to be safe but still special for the intimate setting. We are excited to have them again for the larger event. -

Excellent and timely communication. I wish we could have processed payment using an online platform but it was not an issue. Very flexible to our needs and choices in music. They were eager to give us opinions on our choices based on the expertise. They were at the ceremony on time and their music was lovely. It was a great value of the money and I highly recommend their services for your wedding needs. -

They have a very deep catalogue of pieces to choose from and are very helpful and accommodating in meeting specific requests. If there are any special needs they are clear in telling you, of which they are all reasonable. Their experience is very helpful for them to know where to go and what to do with minimal instruction, and they do a wonderful job.

I was running around making sure everything was in place while they played, so I was only able to enjoy the entrance and exit music during the ceremony. After the ceremony they played our cocktail hour and I was able to enjoy it while we were doing pictures. After the wedding we got so many wonderful comments about how much our guests loved their music. I can't say enough good things about Fran and Janet.
