Tommy was absolutely amazing at our wedding! He handled the music for both the ceremony and the reception, which were about a quarter mile apart, and made everything run so smoothly. He played the right songs at just the right moments, and the flow of the night was seamless.
His wife Jacki was also a huge help leading up to the wedding. She was super responsive and easy-going, and really helped with coordinating everything so we could focus on everything else. We knew we were in good hands the entire time.
Out of all the vendors we worked with, Tommy and Jacki were by far the best. Highly recommend! -

I cannot recommend Jackie and Tommy enough! From start to finish, they were absolutely incredible to work with. From the very first meeting, they were professional, organized, and completely understood our vision for the day. They took the time to listen to all our song preferences and offered helpful suggestions that made everything flow perfectly. Not only did they create an amazing soundtrack for our celebration, but they also guided us through the day with ease, helping us stay on schedule, working seamlessly with the photographer, and ensuring every moment was perfectly timed. They went above and beyond to ensure the music matched the mood, keeping our guests on the dance floor all night long. They were able to read the crowd and keep the energy high without ever missing a beat. They were also flexible and adaptable, making last-minute changes when necessary, and they handled everything with ease. We truly couldn’t have done it without them. Their expertise and attention to detail made our wedding unforgettable, and they played a huge role in making the celebration one we’ll never forget! -

From our first video call with Tommy, we knew we wanted him to be our wedding DJ! He's the perfect combination of relaxed, easy to work with, and super professional. Both Jacki and Tommy are willing to go above and beyond to make the night amazing- they rented us a projector for our slideshow, provided us local hiking recs for our guests (Jacki is a hiking guide at Smuggs), and best of all, kept our dancefloor absolutely POPPING until the lights came on. One of the best things about Green Mountain is that they have one price that covers everything (mics and speakers for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception), and Tommy and Jacki are flexible to customize things to your needs. We spoke to another DJ company where everything was individually billed, e.g.ceremony music vs ceremony microphones were separate costs, as was cocktail hour music vs reception music. We really appreciated that Green Mountain's one price covered everything, which reduced the mental load of making more decisions. 6 stars out of 5 would recommend Green Mountain, we loved them!! -

Jacki and Tommy were so great to work with. They were very detailed through the entire process of our first meeting and asking for details about the wedding. They have a lot of wedding experience and asked questions that helped us define how we wanted our wedding to go, which was very helpful as a couple that has very little wedding experience. Tommy was fantastic on our wedding day. He was on top of checking with the groom and bride to make sure they were comfortable and getting anything they needed throughout the day. He also jumped in and gave a welcome speech at the reception, which was greatly appreciated as we didn't think to prepare one. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the dance floor was very popular. We had a very small wedding but still had dozens of people on the dance floor at a time. It was easy to curate the playlist thanks to the meeting and documents we sent them. Then, Tommy made sure the songs flowed together and there wasn't any weird tone changes between songs. We throughly enjoyed having them as part of our wedding day! -

Green Mountain Sound and Entertainment was an absolute dream to work with! My family has dealt with several different wedding DJs over the years and Tommy blew them all completely out of the water! He worked with us on every detail leading up to the event, was super friendly, and easy to talk to. On our big day he was attentive, flexible, and extremely HELPFUL! He nailed every beat and I would absolutely recommend him for any event! -

We are so happy we decided to go with Green Mountain Sound for our wedding last summer! Tommy was super responsive, easy going and helped us make our wedding special with some special requests and the beautiful up lighting that made our tent so beautiful! Highly recommend -

I could not recommend Jacki and Tommy enough. Our wedding day was off to a very fast start, my wife and I planned our own wedding in Vermont with no wedding coordinator, Jacki and Tommy were able to lightly guide us in all the right directions without interfering too much. Our caterer was late and lost but Jacki and Tommy stepped up and offered to get music going, even offering to stay later and help us break down the wedding they just worked! We had a guest lose keys during the wedding, they helped get the crowd looking and they were eventually found.
They are confident in what they are doing, love their craft and honestly there is no reason to go with any other DJ service!Green Mountain Sound and Entertainment's reply:

Green Mountain Sound absolutely crushed our wedding! We worked with Green Mountain Sound to have a photobooth as well as an after party DJ - and they were both fantastic! We were able to work with Jacki to come up with a custom photo booth overlay that was tailored for our wedding colors and theme. We had Rosie as our photo booth attendant, who was incredibly friendly and easy to work! She also put together a photo album of every photo taken in the booth during our wedding that we took home after - was such an incredible surprise and SO fun to see how much our guests enjoyed the booth! Last but not least, we had DJ Tommy for our after party who was nothing short of amazing! Tommy took requests, mixed in songs and played the best music through the end of our after party. If you’re looking for the best DJ & photo booth for your wedding - look no further than Green Mountain Sound! Incredibly professional, friendly and easy to work with. We highly recommend working with Green Mountain Sound for your big day! -

Made Our Day So Special!
I cannot recommend Green Mountain Sound and Entertainment enough!! Tommy and Jacki were so great; after talking with them and giving them our vision they were able to take those ideas and perfect them. They are friendly, organized, affordable, professional, experienced, and flexible. Our wedding party surprised us with a flash dance and Tommy made it happen with just a days notice. Jacki guided us to use the photo mirror and we couldn’t have been more happy with that experience. The ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and formal dances, and music and dancing all required Tommy to set up in a different location and he made it work without a hitch. They are such great people, we were happy to work with them and even happier with how amazing they made our wedding day. Thank you GMS&E!! -

I can't say enough great things about DJ Megan, Laura and the Green Mountain Sound crew! We got so many compliments during the wedding and the day ever for the playlist and the awesome party that wouldn't have been possible without GMSE. Everyone was excellent to work with, very flexible and responsive.
DJ Megan was thoughtful with taking requests, creating a custom playlist that reflected my and my new wife's preferences while keeping the party going with crowd pleasers. She let the party flow without taking over the spotlight. Highly recommended!
The photobooth was AWESOME. I didn't have to worry about a single thing. The attendant (Laura), managed the photobooth perfectly. The props were kept neat, she made sure everyone in the picture got a copy of the prints AND most importantly she gave me an album with a copy of every photo taken! So fun to see moments I missed as the bride :) people loved the photobooth, I'm so glad we had it.
Overall, my guests and I had a great time at the wedding and a huge part of it is owed to GMSE. Thank you! -

Our guests had an absolute blast at our wedding. The music, magic mirror photobooth, and iPad photobooth offered plenty of entertainment for everyone throughout the night. From ceremony to reception, Robert and Laura kept the night flowing at a great pace and kept everyone involved and entertained. We could not have asked for a better DJ. In addition to their music and photobooth services, the uplighting added a beautiful decorative touch to the venue. We could not have been happier with our entire experience. -

Their company is fantastic, very responsive and they have you fill out a very detailed questionnaire before hand, which I found to be so incredible and organized so there were no questions needed on our big day! I got married on the 25th of August (2023) - Tommy was an amazing DJ and did a fantastic job!
Prior to the wedding, he actually came out to meet us and discuss in person what to expect, what sort of music we did want (and more importantly what we didn't want), and how he'd help throughout the day. This was such an amazing touch to his service, something I didn't expect but was definitely helpful! He played all the songs we wanted him too (avoided the ones we didn't want, even when a guest offered him $100 to play Queen), and had fantastic timing when it came to changing songs.
He helped coordinate the speeches, our private last dance, and let us know when we'd be going off for our sparkler exit.
We did have a few difficulties with communication - come conflicting emails and some of my emails disappearing into their junk file. While stressful, this was easily resolved as Jacki (Tommy's wife who help organize their events) was always super helpful on the phone! And she was easy to reach out to at any time. I imagine that some of these communication difficulties were due to the flooding Vermont was experiencing at the time.
Our wedding started at 14:00 - Tommy got there a couple of hour early to set up for the ceremony, which was awesome! Our event ended at 23:00 and Tommy stayed right up until the very end. Green Mountain Entertainment had the best price compared to other DJs I had looked at, especially since he covered both our ceremony, speeches, and evening dancing!
Thank you Tommy for making our wedding a memorable one! All the guests said they had the most fun dancing thanks to you!
I'd recommend them to everyone looking for a wedding DJ.

This is not a review I was hoping to post after our wedding but... we had the worst Dj representation from green mountain sound. Our Dj assigned to us was Megan. I had many texts and emails between Megan and the owner Laura prior to our wedding day and was assured that Megan had been doing weddings for 12 years and I shouldn’t worry... well let’s start with the ceremony.. I created a personal recorded message for my husband to be played during the ceremony, when it started to play it stop and repeated not once but twice and the third time it played entirely but was the wrong version as I had sent her the final copy 3 days prior. Embarrassed and disappointed as I stood there in front of 65 people as this happened. Then she played the wrong song for the mother son dance which led me the bride to go up to the stage and point out her mistake and to have her say oh there it is... again embarrassing. Then I had a list of guests song requests, she claimed she never received.. however after the wedding I located that email in my sent items so again she dropped the ball. We also had a photo booth provided by them, that kept malfunctioning and the booth attendant was barely around to address the issues. I did contact the owner after the wedding and they said they would be addressing this with her and refunded me 100 dollars and in my opinion was not nearly enough considering how much we paid for their services to turn around and leave bad memories of our wedding day that can’t be taken back. If you want a Dj that you can rely on and not leave bad memories look elsewhere , yes they may be cheaper than others but in the end I would have gladly paid more to avoid the embarrassment.
