An easy 5 stars!
Now I know why they’ve got a 5-star rating! Alan was super easy to work with, responsive, kind, open and accommodating. We came from Colorado for a weekend to get married in Malibu and Great Officiants made it beautiful and memorable. Renzo, our officiant, was awesome. He brought the whole package and married us like it should be done! Thank you Great Officiants, especially with your patience! -

Working with Alan and our officiant, Mitzi, was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend them. Mitzi was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to connect with. She took the time to really get to know both me and my husband and was very receptive to the personal touches we wanted to include. She also helped us develop meaningful ideas that made the ceremony feel uniquely ours.
During the ceremony, Mitzi spoke so thoughtfully about our relationship—how we complement each other, what we admire in one another, and the moments when we each realized we had found the right person. It was very touching. She has a deep knowledge of Jewish traditions and was also completely open to incorporating some Catholic elements. Since our guests came from a variety of faith backgrounds, she took the time to explain the prayers and traditions during the ceremony so everyone could appreciate their meaning.
One especially meaningful part of the ceremony was including the Mi Sheberach prayer for oa sick relative. It made the moment feel incredibly personal, and Mitzi sang it beautifully. Many of our guests later told us how much they loved the ceremony and how moving it was. We are so grateful for the care and thoughtfulness that went into making our wedding ceremony so special.Great Officiants's reply:

I can only give Great Officiants 5 stars. If I could, I would give them 10.
They handled our small wedding ceremony at the Cute, Little Wedding Chapel in Long Beach. We could not have been more pleased how it all went.
We had planned an outdoor ceremony but rain moved us inside. Great Officiants didn't miss a beat.
We had an "Elvis" ceremony and he was GREAT!! His entertaining style, singing and all-around fun attitude took so much of the pressure off of us. All of our dozen family attendees were highly entertained and "Elvis" made them part of the event.
Also, we had several distant family and friends watch via ZOOM and the compliments started rolling in.

My wife and I got married in October at Castle Green in Pasadena and Great Officiants was listed on the preferred vendors list on their website. Our officiant, Clifford Broadway was phenomenal! He did such a great job telling our love story and also keeping things light and fun. After the wedding our guests kept telling us how great he was! I would absolutely recommend them to officiate your wedding! -

We hired Al-x as our officiant and she was so gracious and kind throughout the whole process, from our first meeting over video call to the very personalized and entertaining ceremony. She took all the details of our relationship that we sent over and shared them in a very special way as we prepared to say our vows. Alan was the most amazing officiant that we could have asked for. The ceremony is the reason that everyone is gathered at the wedding, and Alan absolutely nailed it. During the planning process, he was so helpful in giving us ideas on how to customize the wedding to be very unique to us, and in the end, everyone remembered how amazing the ceremony was, and that is thanks to Alan.
We did a tea ceremony (just us, no parents), a hand blessing, a personalized reading, and wrote our own vows. Alan balanced the perfect mix of making it romantic while also adding in very appropriate jokes to lighten the mood as well.
Lastly, my husband's name is often mispronounced, and many vendors were not able to pronounce his name right. Alan took the time to make sure he pronounced it properly, and that was something we appreciated so much.
Highly recommend booking with Alan, and if possible, booking the service to write your ceremony from scratch because that is how we ended up with the most beautiful wedding we could have asked for! -

Met with Alan over the phone to discuss what sort of ceremony I envisioned. I "interviewed" two who Alan suggested would be a good fit for what kind of ceremony I wanted. And I ultimately settled on Reverend Clint Huff who I absolutely LOVED! Rev Huff walked me through the whole process over the phone before I even decided to use him. He made me feel comfortable and happy about the whole process (since I had NO idea what to expect). -

Great Officiants was super easy to work with and Larry Moriga was absolutely phenomenal and one of the main highlights of our big day! Everyone kept coming up to us to compliment the officiant and his speech. We chose the Greatest Package and could not have been happier with our personalized script and all the fun little twists that Larry worked in. We also asked him to take a selfy with us and our guests and he was such a good sport. He took the time to set up multiple check ins beforehand to make sure we were totally happy with what he had prepared. I worked with Great Officiants professionally as a Director of Catering for 10 years. Alan and his officiants were such a great asset to my couples and always amazing to work with on wedding days. Working with him on my sons wedding day was completely different however. Being on the emotional side of a wedding versus the business side is a whole new ballpark and Alan made it so easy for myself, my son and my daughter in law.
My son is in the military, we only had 2 weeks to pull off his wedding. Alan not only took the stress off of the couple by taking care of the marriage certificate but arrived early on the wedding day to meet with them and make sure he gave them the ceremony THEY wanted (because of logistics he was not able to meet with them ahead of time) put them at ease and made it really fun for them. Coincidentally the brides Aunt and Uncle that attended the wedding were married by Alan as well and remembered him =)
Alan I can't thank you enough for taking such amazing care of Jake and Maddie and making there ceremony so special and such a reflection of who they are. As I said before professionally you were always top notch but working with you personally you took amazing to a whole 'nother level!! -

ROGER LUNDBLADE!!! We thank you!!!! The process with Great Officiants could have not been easier. We chose Roger as our officiant and it must have been meant to be because he was a blessing. He made it so easy, we spoke on the phone and FaceTime to discuss what we envisioned for our wedding and Roger somehow put it all together and made it sound absolutely seem-less, even making us and our guests laugh(which we requested). It was the perfect mix of formal with a touch of humor. I also really appreciated him coaching me before and during the ceremony, very reassuring in a stressful time.

We are absolutely thrilled that we went with Great Officiants for their services, and we were so fortunate to have A. Mauricio Lubong presiding over our ceremony. From the start, it was easy to work with them, and we were appreciative of the chance to talk with a few in their lineup beforehand. It was hard to pick just one among them, but ultimately, we felt such warmth with Mauricio, who then took it a step further to really get to know us and our story. After providing him with responses to his thoughtful questions as “homework,” we were truly gifted with a touching and personable service by Mauricio. Our friends and family still comment on how well he spoke to our love for each other and asked if we had known him personally beforehand. It was also a bonus that Mauricio is a notary who could issue our marriage license, so we felt taken care of with that logistical but very important aspect as well. We are incredibly thankful to have found Great Officiants, and we will forever cherish the words shared by Mauricio with us on our special day. -

We chose Roger because of his experience in Hollywood as a comedian, it was exactly what we joked about wanting - and there he was on the website! He spent two hours with us on Zoom asking so many great questions about our love story. He's a good writer who created our ceremony with so much humor, tenderness, and romance it felt like he'd known us for our entire relationship. Our guests were so impressed by his fun personality and a couple of surprises for the crowd too (only because we agreed to it) - he will go as 'out there' or as 'reserved' as you want. He's the BEST. I highly recommend Roger for an intimate, caring experience of love and fun! -

We got married by Michael Thieling this Saturday, 05/20/2023 and we can't recommend him highly enough. From the first phone call to pronouncing us husband and wife, he made the process stress free, fun and easy! Michael was very informative about the marriage process and answered all our questions about the license process and the ceremony.
He provided valuable input when helping draft how the ceremony would flow, and helped guide us to decisions when we had no idea what to do.
On the actual wedding day he arrived early, helped make sure we were all set for the ceremony, (even laughing when I forgot my ID even though he reminded me5 different times) and did last minute walkthroughs before it was showtime. His officiating was wonderful. He had exactly the vibe we wanted: funny, friendly, sentimental. I asked for the Princess Bride beginning and he did it to perfection. Everyone laughed!!!
The way he talked to us and made everyone feel included, many of our guests asked how long Michael had been friends of ours and they were all surprised when we would say he was an officiant we had hired and just met a few months prior.
Again, we cannot suggest Michael highly enough. He will definitely make your ceremony amazing! -

We were lucky enough to have Roger Lundblade as our officiant. We felt comfortable with Roger right away and noticed that he asked important questions and provided us with valuable informatoin. My husband and I got married at Cute Little Chapel back in early November 2022 and had Mauricio as our officiant. Everything was absolutely perfect from the preparations to the ceremony and getting our marriage certificate.
Prior to booking, the team at Cute Little Chapel patiently answered all our questions and provided detail responses. Once booked, Mauricio really took the time to understand our story and how we got to this point in our relationship. He incorporated the details into the ceremony, which made the whole experience even more special and memorable. Mauricio made all our guests feel included and part of the union, as our two families are now joined.
We are so grateful we booked our ceremony at Cute Little Chapel. The intimate celebration allowed us to share this special moment with our families and was absolutely perfect!
Everything was simple and lovely. We got our license 10 weeks later in the mail with no issues. We cannot thank enough Mauricio and the entire team at Cute Little Chapel for such an incredible start to our marriage!

After going back and forth on having a close friend officiate, we decided it would be better to hire a professional. After a phone interview we knew Roger was the guy for us. He took the time to put together a ceremony that captured us as Disney fans but also fans of each other. He injected little bits of humor throughout which was exactly what we had wanted; we already knew it would be an emotional day, so having those lighthearted moments gave us both a chance to take a breath. He picked excellent quotes for us, and shared our story beautifully. Several of our guests complimented him on his ceremony, as did our photographer! He arrived with an upbeat persona and ticked through all his to-do items in advance - paperwork signed, everyone knew what to do, etc. My only regret was not getting to say bye and personally thank him afterwards! He flew in like a ninja, and left like a ninja. -

Alan Katz is THE BEST!!!! He was recommended by our venue in Costa Mesa to officiant my wedding. I know from the only meeting we had prior to the wedding that we picked the right man. During the ceremony he keep it entertaining and keep the guest engaged. He made my Wife comfortable although she was nervous. My husband and I went through SoCal beach weddings which is in affiliation with great officiants. We chose Roger for our 9/24/22 ceremony and right out the gate, from his welcome video to ease of contact he was fantastic. He ensured my husband and I had everything we needed. His ceremony was tailored to us personally and full of the humor that drives our relationship. We just love Great Officiants...So much that we had a wedding by them twice! The first time was a quiet ceremony, just the two of us and our officiant, Clifford, dressed as Superman at the Cute Little Wedding Chapel. The second was a wedding at the Disneyland Hotel with friends and family present, and Alan as our superhero officiant! Both Clifford and Alan went above and beyond expectations, were fun, entertaining, and kind. We love cosplay, so they both dressed up in costumes for us and made our ceremonies special. Everything done by this company was wonderful. They have a variety of officiants, so you can do a quick elopement, or plan something for the future, and they make sure you get what you want on your wedding day. Roger Lundblade was our officiant and did an amazing job! About a week before our wedding our original officiant had an emergency and Roger stepped in to the role with flying colors. My wife and I were laughing and smiling all throughout the reception, all the way up until he said those words "You may kiss your bride!". Roger took some time to get to know us beforehand and really made the reception feel personalized and fun. He knew when to be funny and when to be serious, and afterwards our friends and family kept talking about how great he was. As the groom, I even spoke to him about my vows beforehand and he coordinated with me to make sure that his material did not interfere with my vows. He was extremely responsive and wanted to give us the best reception possible. Thank you so much Roger for helping us make our big day that much more special.Great Officiants's reply:

Roger made our ceremony so special! So many of our guests assumed Roger was a family friend since his words were personal and on point! Prior to the wedding, Roger was responsive over email, and we had a great Zoom chat to get to know one another. Thank you so much Roger for making our wedding a magical one! My fiancé and I were left scrambling to find an officiant 6 days before our wedding date because the one we had backed out. I was hesitant to get an officiant at first because of the costs but after having Roger as our officiant, it was the best decision ever. My fiancé discovered the Great Officiants website and asked me who I’d like to be our officiant and after reading Roger’s bio, I was like “This guy is the one!” After submitting a request for Roger, he called us promptly and went over everything. We had no clue what to expect but Roger walked us through all the steps, from getting a marriage license to the ceremony. This was one of the most stressful events for my fiancé and I but Roger took a huge weight off our shoulders and guided us through every little detail with his experience and knowledge of weddings. He made us calm and laugh during times of nervousness and anxiety. He entertained my guests amazingly and filled the ceremony with fun and laughter. I cannot begin to thank Great Officiants service enough! My husband and I decided we want to get elope in California. We were in Illinois. I researched companies and came across Great Officiants. Right from the beginning, they were so helpful in planning our big day! The owner quickly reached out to me and gave me a number of officiants to choose from on his website. The two that picked out were booked, but he quickly had someone in mind based on the people I had chosen. He sent Rev Gab my way. He did not fail to impress. They helped us choose our location, Pointe Dume. Rev Gab was easy to work with and really took my husband and my story to heart. He centered the words of his ceremony to match us perfectly. We were late to our own wedding due to it being a new area and traffic in LA, but he was so patient and understanding! It was, hands down, the most beautiful day of my life! Our venue recommended Great Officiants and we couldn't be happier. We chose Roger to officiate our wedding and we went with a traditional theme. Prior to the event, Roger gave us a consultation where he gave us an idea on how things might be and checked if there was anything specific we needed. He assisted in outlining the ceremony structure, gave suggestions, and addressed every detail we could think of. He took the time to get to know us, was confident, and was very organized. Despite the millions of things a bride has to deal with, I could honestly say after our call, I was not worried one bit about how Roger would do. When the time came, everything went smooth. Roger kept us at ease, he was professional while connecting with our guests by adding light humor, and overall conducted a great ceremony. You can tell he takes great pride in what he does and I would 100% recommend! -

Great experience with Roger!
Our whole experience with Great Officiants was very smooth. We had to postpone our wedding once and they were able to do it with no problem. Luckily our officiant, Roger Lundblade, was available for our new date! He was very responsive and helpful from the get-go. He gave us all the information we needed to get our license. When we finally met, I had no doubt that he was going to be great. We didn't want a super personalized ceremony, so we didn't share our story and didn't prepare vows. Still, Roger gave a lovely speech, engaged our guests and made us all laugh, while keeping it short like we wanted. It was perfect and we received my compliments from a lot of guests. -

I’m a Wedding DJ and I knew from the very start, my wife and I NEEDED Alan to officiate our wedding.
We got married on 2/22/22 and we were so fortunate to have Alan himself officiate our wedding on such an extremely busy day for weddings.

Roger is hands down the best officiant of ALL TIME and truly made our wedding stand out from the jump! We had our wedding on New Year’s Eve (12.31.21) out at the Irvine Spectrum Marriott and wanted our entire event to be a party (since it’s also NYE) and Roger delivered!!!
Roger helped set the tone for the entire evening and we were blown away with the amount of effort and detail Roger captured for us on our wedding day! Our first meeting with Roger was slated for 30min but we ended the call an 1 1/2 later and could have easily spent all day conversing. The effortless manner in which Roger was able to engage and entertain our wedding guest and convey our story was truly memorizing and our wedding guest are still talking about "that ceremony"
Truly Thankful for Roger and cannot thank him enough for helping us create a truly unforgettable wedding ceremony. THANK YOU ROGER
