I had the best time working with GBC&E! Having so much in house for their clients makes it super convenient, especially for those couples coming out of town. Their event spaces, both Monet Monet & Chapel of 30a are beautiful in their own unique ways. Their catering team was amazing & the florals, next level! Every single team member that we worked with and spoke with from GBC was absolutely fabulous. I told them from the beginning that my dream was to not have to make many decisions and for most of the wedding planning to be done for me. Man, did they deliver! There just aren't enough good things to say about GBC. 10/10 experience throughout the entire extent of time we had with them. I couldn't recommend them enough. So grateful we found them!!! -

GBC provided an all-inclusive wedding experience for our daughter on October 19, 2024. They absolutely knocked it out of the park. The florist (Howard) did an incredible job. The food was divine. The DJ and music was on point and perfect per our selections. The photographer was extremely professional and thorough. The set-up and breakdown team was truly remarkable. I am blown away with how well this team executed our daughter's special day at the Chapel of 30A. The venue was breathtaking, and the team put my daughter at ease throughout the whole event. I am beyond grateful for GBC! Thank you to ALL of you who helped us make this the most beautiful day ever!!! -

We had a difficult situation with weather and the team needed to pivot twice to make our wedding and dinner work out for us. Logistics were very difficult trying to get in out of the rain and dealing with three flights of stairs to get to our "plan B" location but, Jackie and the entire team were amazing and the food was really, really great. We requested a spinach and strawberry salad, filet mignon and lobster tails with grilled parmesean asparagus. We decided not to have a cake but, instead, requested a dessert trio for each guest including a lemon cheesecake tart with blueberry compote and a chocolate mousse tart with whipped cream and candied pecans. Our chef did such an amazing job on the tenderloin that we decided to keep the leftovers like some couples keep the top of their cake. We won't wait a year to eat it but we did freeze two portions for our one-week anniversary!! -

Gbc is the best!
Would recommend over and over! All of our guests said multiple times “THIS IS THE BEST WEDDING WE’VE EVER BEEN TO!” Cheri & the crew at GBC made the best day of our lives the most stress free and fun day we could’ve ever imagined! Christine is the best coordinator and so fun! Melinda made planning a wedding from 6 hours away seem like we were sitting in Monet Monet each time we spoke via email or phone! Easily the best wedding vendor in the country! -

Exceptional service and food
We were thrilled by the food and service provided by Grayton Beach Catering! They went above and beyond to take care of us. The shrimp boil, wedding cake, and chocolate fountain were amazing! In planning a destination wedding, they made it simple and perfect. -

Grayton Beach Catering hosted the entire wedding for approx 150 people from the welcome /rehearsal dinner to the post wedding brunch. They turned each event into a magical fairyland at every venue. The food was definitely the highlight with great compliments from everyone. Along with the food, the best part of Grayton Beach Catering is the people. All of the staff did everything they could to make sure we were all taken care of. They were very friendly and very helpful!! Cheri, Jenna, Michael, Jessica and Donovan-You guys were amazing and made the event stress free and fun!!! -

I cannot say enough great things about Grayton Beach Catering!! They did an amazing job!! Our wedding was absolutely perfect. There is not one thing that did not go to plan! I honestly cannot believe how smoothly everything went. Our day of coordinator, Becky, was amazing!!! I had multiple people come up to me telling me they wish they had Becky for their wedding. We went to take "cutting of the cake" pictures and when we came back, Becky let me know she had taken our food to put in the warmer until we were done. Just the small things like that blew me away! The food was amazing! We had a Street Taco station and a Grit station. Everyone absolutely loved the food! We had so many people come up to us to tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to! I would 100% recommend Grayton Beach Catering to anyone!! -

Grayton Beach Catering is the largest catering business on 30A (South Walton) for good reason ! They deliver first class service, and everything is made with love. I have known Cheri and Donald for many, many, years, and have always known them to be honest, fair and always committed to delivering a first class experience. They are big enough to handle any event, but small enough, where you are still treated as a good friend and a highly valued client ! I would highly recommend them to anyone, for any event. Everything they do, is done with LOVE !

I reached out to GBC looking for a caterer for our destination wedding. It was well over a year out, but they responded immediately, talked over the phone with us, corresponded through emails until we had everything planned out the way i wanted! They were super helpful!! -

Food was awesome from appetizers during cocktail hour to the buffet meals and the cake and tarts that we had as well. Food was all the right temp when served. would not do buffet again as you have to pay for additional guests to “ cover for those who may eat more than their share “ . Same with liquor- was unhappy that the did not plan ahead for enough beer - paid for full bar and selected 3 beers and before the cocktail hr was over one of the beers was already gone- unfortunately that was grooms fav. -

At first glance, I was charmed. Everything there is in such a beautiful setting, and there isn't anything like it on 30-A that I had found. We wanted something outside of the resort - style norm.
The owner wanted everything paid in full before the wedding. I thought this unusual, but was amenable, and my family began to make payments on the proposal about 8 months prior to the event. I had to repeatedly ask for updated invoices as my payments were made. It took several reminders over several weeks just to get the correct amount reflected. Not only that, the invoice would reflect the incorrect wedding date. Even after making several thousand dollars in payments, I had to send a breakdown of our payments and the dates they were made in order for the owner to send me a correct, updated proposal. Even after this, I was willing to chalk it up to a bit of disorganization. However, the situation turned out to be much worse.
About a month out, a final proposal was sent over. I expected it to increase by a small amount because of added catering, however, I looked at the updated proposal to find it had increased by several thousand dollars with miscellaneous hidden items, and increased rates from the original quotes. This includes a thousand dollar charge for outdoor toilets, which had never been mentioned before. In a venue that supposedly accommodates up to 100 people, we were responsible to provide outside toilets at our cost, since there was only 1 in the building.
All of these things came to light within 2 weeks of the wedding, and it was terrifying to say the least.
In the end, the event turned out fine. The food was very good, and the venue was pretty. The wedding guests were none the wiser. But let me say, do not take this place or its owner at face value. You'll need to keep a close eye on your proposals and your wallet. -

I do not recommend this business for anyone planning an event or especially a wedding. The owner was extremely unresponsive and unhelpful in every single interaction. She also incurred unauthorized charges on our credit card (which she has done to many other couples per the many reviews on her website). Listen to your gut and do not use Cheri Peebles or Grayton Beach Catering. -

This was absolutely the worst experience imaginable! Please read the full review before booking anything with this company especially your wedding. We were set up for a monthly payment plan for our May 2020 wedding. On three different occasions we were incorrectly charged. In a 5 week period we were charged three separate times. One of those charges was 60% more than it should have been (they admitted to charging us for someone else’s monthly payment). On another payment they charged $1000 more than what it was supposed to be and said they would correct it but never did. In fact, they never corrected any of the incorrect charges and we let that go because we still had a balance to pay and the owner agreed to count it towards that. Then COVID hit and we were not able to have our wedding as planned due to the executive order by the Florida governor. We spoke to the owner and she said multiple times we would be getting a full refund. The next communication we had was her lawyer reaching out to us stating they wanted to work out an agreement that was good for both parties. His offer was for us to get 30% of our money back. Months after we were told by the owner “not to worry you will get it” we were not able to get a full refund. Needless to say, with how disorganized the payments were we can’t imagine how disorganized our wedding would have been. We strongly encourage you to look at any other company for your wedding!
