We got our wedding cutting cake from Graul's of Ruxton, and it turned out beautifully! The prices are extremely reasonable (especially compared to other wedding cake bakeries) and the cake flavors are really tasty. We went pretty classic with our design and flavors and were very pleased with how the cake turned out. From the (free!) tasting kit to the final product, the process was straightforward, if not a little outdated (no website ordering, you go into the store and fill out forms by hand and page through a physical binder of cake images). However, everything is very customizable and the customer service is great. For a small added fee, we had the cake delivered to our venue, which was convenient and made things easy and worry-free. We also ordered on a round cake for my brother's 40th birthday (which was 4 days before our wedding), and it was delicious and HUGE (truly; a 12" 2-layer cake is no joke, that thing was HEAVY and fed 25 people with lots leftover!), and Graul's was able to custom make a Nutella-flavored buttercream for the occasion (we celebrated the night before our wedding, during our rehearsal dinner).

Delicious Cake! Incredible Pricing
Grauls Market in Annapolis did an amazing job for our wedding cake. The pricing was WAY cheaper than any other local wedding bakeries as well. We ordered a 2 tiered cake and big sheet cake to be cut for all guests, and Grauls delivered the cake no issues. For tasting, they gave us a free tasting kit to take home with multiple cake/filling/icing flavors to decide our combination which ended up being amaretto cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. We ordered about 6 months in advance by going into the bakery, discussing sizes, emailed them a picture of the design we wanted, and they ran with it. On wedding day, we had the cake served to guests, and everyone loved it!

Delicious Cake and Great Value
Graul's market was so easy to work with and was so flexible with what we wanted. We wanted a traditional wedding cake and other bakeries were charging way more than our budget. Graul's made a beautiful and delicious cake for less than half the cost, and they delivered! We met with them for the tasting and they helped us customize a design. Everyone at the wedding said the cake was delicious, we particularly loved the almond cake!

Affordable and Delicious!
We used Graul’s for our wedding cake and cupcakes for guests. We went with a semi-naked red velvet layer cake. Delicious flavors and so much more affordable than other bakeries. We had our florist add flowers to the cake and it was STUNNING. Couldn’t recommend more!

I love Grauls!
It was wonderful working with the Grauls bakery to design my daughter’s wedding cake. The Bride and groom presented their ideas, agreed to a size and cake layers and voila…the cake was perfect. We loved having both vanilla and chocolate layers. Purchasing an additional sheet cake allowed us to keep the cake a manageable size.

Graul's was an absolute pleasure to work with. They provided a beautiful cake for our special day and the taste exceeded our expectations. Graul’s Market in Ruxton’s bakery is Baltimore’s best kept secret! I grew up in Baltimore so their Ruxton location wasn’t too far from us. Growing up, my favorite birthday cake was their almond pound cake with almond buttercream icing. So when my now husband and I were thinking about cake options for our wedding I knew immediately that Graul’s was one of the places we had to try. Turns out they were the only bakery we need to try. My husband, who is not a cake person, drooled over the almond pound cake – so it was decided. Our wedding cake would be almond pound cake with almond butter cream icing. It’s such a favorite of my family’s that my mom ordered a sheet cake of the almond pound cake for my bridal shower. She also ordered their scrumptious red velvet cake with cream cheese icing for our rehearsal dinner. If you are looking for a cake with the perfect ‘crumb’ and icing that is to die for, look no further. Graul’s is your place!

We ordered two cakes for our wedding from Graul's; a 3-tiered lemon cake and a full sheet carrot cake. We definitely ordered way too much cake for our wedding (about 200 servings for 97 people) but we barely had any left at the end of the night, it was that good! The bakery was super easy to work with as well; Kate was very responsive to all of our questions about styling, cake tasting, and ordering. The cake was delivered promptly with decor items for the caterer to finish it off (edible flowers provided by Graul's as well). I would highly recommend Graul's to everyone!

During my wedding planning, I remembered an old friend of mine recommending Graul's for wedding cakes. We were able to take home the tasting kit and do the tasting in the comfort of our own home. We ordered a 3 tier rum flavored cake with buttercream icing. The cake was delicious! We have the rest of the cake that wasn't cut in our freezer, and it is still scrumptious! Megan was very professional, and our cake was beautiful. Also, you simply can't beat their prices. They are probably the best value that you will find. Graul's Market wedding cakes are one of the best secrets in the business! While a lot of bakeries charge ~$6-7/slice in this area, which would have amounted to $1000 for our 150-person wedding, Graul's provided a huge cake at a very affordable rate. I believe our cake was $400, and we could have easily gone a size smaller--there was a huge excess of leftover cake, and plenty of guests had multiple slices. If you've heard that the best affordable cake option is a small cake to cut and sheet cakes in the back--forget that idea! You'll pay no less for a large cake at Graul's than you would have for that combo, and you won't have to compromise at all in the process.

We shopped around a few bakeries and when we discovered the pricing and quality of Grauls it was a no-brainer. Their cake is amazing. We chose Graul’s bakery for our wedding cake because my parents used them 34 years ago and still rave about how delicious their cake was. All these years later Graul’s did not disappoint! We loved the cake tasting because we were able to schedule a time to pick up the cake flavors (in cupcake form), icing options, and filling options, take them home, and mix and match them to decide which combination we liked the best. The cake itself was delicious and the simple buttercream icing with 3 white roses on top looked beautiful. We would highly recommend Graul’s!

Graul's Market is a wonderful choice for those who appreciate value and taste over expensive, dry, tasteless options. Graul's Market was able to design our two cakes beautifully based on the pictures provided. Beyond the presentation, we received several compliments on our cake's taste. Even to this day family and friends are asking about our cake and have gone to purchase their own cakes from Graul's Market even though they do not live in the area. Other specialty bakeries charge anywhere from $4-$9 per slice in the area and when we went for tastings at other bakeries we weren't particularly pleased. Graul's offered a better taste and a better value, so it was a no brainer! We are looking forward to enjoying our anniversary cake next year.

For our wedding, we wanted a cake that first and foremost tasted good. Graul's Market did not disappoint! We chose a lemon cake with a cream cheese frosting. The design was very simple and was embellished with cake flowers. They made exactly what we asked for. They were easy to work with and were very reasonably priced. Also, Tona was lovely to work with and kindly accommodated last-minute changes when more people RSVP'ed no than we had expected. I recommend getting a small, 3-tier cake and then the remainder can be sheet cake to save money -- your guests will never know. I also especially recommend the classic yellow cake w/ buttercream icing & carrot cake. We also LOVE that they offer a complimentary 1-year anniversary cake so you don't have to worry about saving the top of the cake!

We used Grauls knowing they make delicious sweet treats and they were reasonably priced. We gave Tiara pictures of what we wanted our wedding cake to look like and she made it happen. She even designed cute cake pops to match our wedding colors. One of my guests told me she never eats the wedding cake but her husband told her to try it and she ate two slices! We booked our wedding cake with Graul's and it was delicious! The whole experience was great. We went to the Roland Park location and had a tasting, which was fun and very yummy. We picked red velvet cake - normally they can't use cream cheese frosting because it is too heavy for such a large cake - but they worked with us to make the top layer cream cheese frosting and the rest buttercream, so we could get our favorite frosting without weighing down the cake. We dropped off the cake toppers in advance and on the day-of, the cake arrived on time and ready to go, exactly as we wanted. On our one-year anniversary, they are going to mail us a small version of our cake - we are already excited for it! The price was great value, the best I found for a wedding cake, and I think it tasted much better than many traditional wedding cakes. We highly recommend working with Graul's for your wedding cake!!!

So many of our guests said that our wedding cake was the best cake they had ever had. Tiara was so sweet and helpful throughout the whole process and our cake turned out beautiful. We can’t say enough how delicious the cake was - most of our guests went back for seconds and thirds! Grauls also made us several pies for our dessert table to offer guests another option and those were delicious as well. They were much more reasonably priced than any other bakery we looked at and our cake looked so beautiful and professional. Our guests were literally raving to us about how delicious it was. Delicious cakes for such amazing prices! We ordered a small round cake for my husband and I to cut and 2 large sheet cakes to be served to our guests. The cakes were delivered to our venue and looked beautiful! I can't get over how well priced they were and people told us it was some of the best cake they had ever had! We did a tasting prior and it was great! So excited to get our one year anniversary cake!

Graul's made us a beautiful "naked" cake for our wedding in their rum cake flavor with tons of strawberries! They were extremely accommodating with delivery since our wedding was far from their bakery. Our guests loved the cake! Definitely recommend!

They were totally on top of tastings and delivery, cake was delicious (the almond pound cake was my favorite), and it was extremely affordable. Excellent value and yummy.

Everybody loved my cake. Most of the people said that is the best wedding cake that they have ever tasted. I just gave them a picture and they did the magic. Very economic price in comparison with the wedding cake market. And they include a fresh small cake on your 1st anniversary date. A plus!

I didn't want to spend too much on a wedding cake, so after reading reviews I decided to check out Grauls. Like everyone said they were very reasonably priced; even cheaper than people that have their own small business out of their house. I got a three-tiered cake and Grauls designed it exactly how I wanted. I actually feel like I could have gotten away with 2 tiers for 100 guests, because we ended up having a lot leftover, but the three tier looks very nice in pictures. The cake was tasty and beautiful; exactly how a wedding cake should be! Also, I got a free small cake on my one-year anniversary, so that was a nice treat!

DO NOT look anywhere else. Graul's is half the price and ten time the taste of a standard wedding cake!
I wish that I lived closer so that I could get another cake there. It was absolutely incredible, and I'm actually disappointed that I only had one slice that night. My personal favorite was red velvet with buttercream icing. We also got almond cake with buttercream icing and yellow cake with ganache filling. It was all gone by the end of the night.

We actually didn't get a cake from Graul's.. we had cupcakes and they were absolutely delicious! They not only looked great but tasted great too. They were very nice when we ordered everything. Our wedding was on a Sunday, usually they don't deliver on Sundays unless it's over a certain price. Our cupcakes did not quite meet the price obligation for delivery but since it was fairly close.. they allowed us to still have it delivered. I didn't want anyone to have that task of picking up 140 cupcakes.. so it made a huge difference that they were nice enough to let us have the delivery option still. I would definitely recommend Graul's for cupcakes!

A friend of mine recommended trying Grauls for my wedding cake, and I am so glad she did! The caterer I used works with Sugar Bakers, so I did a trial of Grauls and Sugar Bakers. I liked Grauls cake much better. Plus it wound up being half the price and saving me $300! Ken, the store manager of the Hereford location, was great to work with and made everything very easy for me. The cake turned out just like the picture I showed them, and tasted SO good! A lot of guests asked where I got it from too. Highly recommend.

We loved our wedding cake! We had a great consultation at Graul's and brought in a picture of what we liked. They delivered the cake early to the venue so the florist could put the flowers on the cake. Everyone raved about how amazing the cake was! We loved it and we are very excited to get our free anniversary cake. We loved working with Graul's and we loved the price! Extremely reasonable, especially compared to other bakers in the area!

This review is for the Rich in location, though I am sure it would be true for other locations.
We had a three-tier cake, 14", 12", and 8" layers. Buttercream icing, with a layer of devils food, lemon pound, and plain pound cake.
I took a photo of a cake from the internet, with cherry blossom branches and two birds holding wedding rings on the top. We provided a paint swatch from home depot for the icing color. We met with the coordinator, Debbie, and she guided us in choosing the right sugar flowers to make the cherry blossoms, with icing branches.
Graul's cake is delicious, and they specialize in buttercream icing, but can also do fondant. Everyone hates fondant, it tastes disgusting so we didn't even consider it.... We wanted it to taste good, because what are you going to do with a hundred pounds of cake if no one likes it?! Graul's can do many designs in Buttercream that other bakeries only do in fondant.... They are amazing. AND, incredibly, all Buttercream decorations are included in the price!
We had a cake for 100-120 people, beautifully decorated in a mirror image of the photo we provided, with Buttercream icing, for $350! The sugar flowers cost extra, of course, but we're very reasonable.
Graul's also included in your price a 6"mini version of your wedding cake, decorated with your colors and theme, sent to you for your one year anniversary, making them am even better value. They are top quality, delicious, and incredibly easy to work with.
You have a limited choice of flavors compared to some vendors who offer options like lemon-raspberry, but with three flavors of moist pound cake, yellow and devils food, and fresh-grated carrot cake, with the most delicious icing around, we had no complaints.

We were after a two-tier simple, classic cake and Graul's delivered perfectly! It was tasty, looked just as requested, and was so reasonably priced compared to other bakeries in the area. The staff at Graul's was so friendly and accomodating at our tasting, and they later made us a small special-order sample so we could try the exact combination we had in mind. So glad we went with Graul's!

I have always enjoyed Graul's's food...some of the best in Baltimore County. Don't hesitate to get a wedding cake from the, too. They do great trays for corporate events and wonderful baked goods in their bakery.

Can't say enough about the cake that Graul's provided for our daughter's wedding at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court on November 1, 2104. So many of our guests commented about how delicious the cake tasted. The streamlined design just fit with the formal traditional look our our reception. Great job!!!!

My family has been buying Graul's cakes for YEARS so it was a natural decision that we ultimately chose Graul's to make our wedding cake. I was a bit hesitant in the beginning because I had not seen them create a cake that looked similar in shape to the one we ordered, but they perfectly executed my vision. We ordered almond pound cake and red velvet pound cake with buttercream icing in our three tier cake. They were more than half the price of Sugar Bakers (the other bakery we looked into) and with MUCH better customer service and attention. We also ordered sixteen dozen mini desserts through them which was a HUGE hit, especially for those who wanted something other than cake. THANKS GRAUL'S!!

Graul's is consistent in all of their Baked Goods, and they did not cease to provide excellent quality and execution, for a great price on our wedding cake. It was beautiful and delicious! We worked with Graul's in Ruxton and they were great! We went there for a tasting and decided on the Lemon Pound, and it was the perfect choice. We had 200 guests and went with the cake that served up to 120 people because we were also having an Ice Cream Bar and didn't want to be left with Cake for days, and we weren't! There was no cake leftover at all, which I have heard never happens! The cake was delicious and they were a pleasure to work with!

Staci was wonderful and very accommodating as our cake topper was 3 weeks late and arrived the morning of the wedding. I love her calm personality. During our tasting my husband enjoyed the rum flavor and I loved lemon so we chose a lemon cake with lemon custard and rum buttercream frosting, the combination was heavenly. The delivery man was lost on the day of the wedding and I'm lucky to have even have checked my cell phone after our ceremony. I redirected him to the right place and I think he made it 15 min before the reception started. He wasn't actually sure what the name of the reception venue was because he said his delivery sheet said "L Restaurant" and the address was incorrect. I'm not sure where the mix up occurred as I gave the correct info of Louisiana Restaurant and address when ordering but either way, it ended up working out. The cake was adorable and simple just as we asked. Our guests kept complimenting on how delicious the cake was. I'm not a big cake person but this was amazing. I was very pleased with the price and quality! I can't wait for our small anniversary cake next year! I plan to order cakes with Graul's for future milestones! .

My husband (fiance at the time) and I chose Graul’s simply because they offered a great selection of wedding cake options for a great price. We went to the Graul's Market located at 12200 Tullamore Rd, Timonium, MD 2109, as this was the closest to our venue. First you’ll want to call and make an appointment to visit the bakery and taste the different cake flavors they have, an austere process. After you’ve decided on a flavor (we chose plain – tasted great), you’ll want to choose your size. Our cake was a Tier 3 cake that could feed 130-160 guests. Let me just point something out to everyone – we had 153 guests at our wedding – basically a third to a half of the cake was left over by the end of the evening. Not everyone is going to eat the cake; some people don’t even like cake to begin with (I know, they’re weird). Also keep in mind there are no gluten free options available at this vendor, only delicious gluten filled cake (according to my husband). I bring this up because my I am gluten free and subsequently, we ended up baking a small gluten free cake for myself and the others who couldn’t enjoy the bakery’s cake. The cake was delivered on time and looked lovely. We ended up adding flowers day of at the venue. Overall, I highly recommend Grauls; you won’t be disappointed.

Graul's came through for us! The cake we had was delicious, beautiful, and incidentally very reasonably priced. I can honestly say it was the best cake I have ever tasted. Graul's has many cake options and designs to choose from. Karen Abrams, the catering manager, is patient, pleasant, and organized. From cake tasting to delivery to the venue, the whole process was worry free. We also chose to have Graul's deliver platters to the wedding shower and after wedding brunch. Karen helped us make just the right choices, and all of the food was delicious. We would recommend Graul's in Ruxton to any future bride!!

We got our wedding cupcakes from the Graul's on Padonia Rd. We were not interested in a cake and thought that bite size mini cupcakes would be perfect for our celebration, Graul's said "No problem". They helped us calculate how many cupcakes we would need based on the size we chose and the number of guests. We also wanted to have brownies which Grauls provided. Both desert items were delicious and up to Graul's high standards.

We got a 3 tier wedding cake from Graul's for our wedding on 10/12/13. The cake tasted great, looked exactly like the picture I had pulled from the internet and Graul's was so easy to work with. We had a tasting of most of their flavors and then I was able to easily order the cake over the phone a few weeks later. The cake was half the price of other wedding cake bakers in the Baltimore area but tasted and looked just as good. I would recommend Graul's Market to anyone getting married in the Baltimore area and looked to save some money on their wedding!

I hired Graul's to make a groom's cake for the Rehearsal Dinner. My husband is a Pilot with the Air Force, and I really wanted a 3D cake in the shape of his plane. The other places I took my ideas to wanted to charge me $600-$800 for a cake that fed 50! Instead I went to Graul's, who made an incredible 3D replica that tasted amazing (red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting) and best of all, cost me $70!!! It was definitely a hit!

Delicious and beautiful cake! I went to a bunch of bridal shows and was not impressed. WhenI went to Graul's to try their cake samples after a family friend recommended it, I was sold! Our wedding was on July 7, and in the hot weather and holiday weekend, the cake looked wonderful and the delivery was perfect! We found a design we liked on Pinterest where we provided a list of the important people, places, and things in our lives, and Graul's was so accomodating to our unique wish! We went for the vanilla buttercream frosting flavors, and our guests loved it and devoured it, and I am confident that anyone can rejoice in one of their

I cannot say enough good things about Graul's. We used Graul's in Cape St. Claire for all of our catering. They were fantastic! They were so flexible in doing multiple tastings and visiting the venue before the big day to go over every detail. They also took care of all our linens. The food and cake were phenomenal. The service the day of was incredible as well. They were very attentive to every detail and made my reception run smoothly and stress-free. My guests were so complimentary of the food and the servers as well. I grew up right around the corner from Graul's and it made our big day that much more special to have a piece of the community there.

I worked with Nadine at the Graul's on Taylor Ave in Annapolis, and she did an amazing job! They were so accomodating. They usually don't deliver cakes late on Saturday afternoons, but Nadine personally drove the cake to our venue herself. It looked exactly like I wanted, and the guests raved about the flavor!

I worked with CJ at the Graul's in Cap St. Claire. She did an awesome job with my cake. It looked awesome and was delivered on time with no issues. It tastes FANTASTIC and was cheaper than all other bakers I researched (because they don't charge by the slice). They also do an awesome cake tasting where they bake you mini cakes to take home and try. I would recommend Graul's to anyone!!!

We used Graul's Market bakery for both our rehearsal dinner cake (carrot cake wtih buttercream) and wedding cake (almond pound cake with buttercream). We chose Graul's for several reasons:
1. Their cakes are SO GOOD
2. Their prices are extremely reasonable compared to specialty bakeries
3. They can do any design that a specialty bakery can do.
I had a very specific design idea for my wedding cake, and gave them a very detailed description with some pictures when I ordered the cake a few months prior to the wedding. They took my ideas and created EXACTLY what I had wanted. Plus, everyone raved about how great the cake tastes. If you want to have a beautiful wedding cake that people will actually enjoy eating, definitely go with Graul's!

Grauls did a great job. Starting from the sample cupcakes they let me bring home to decide what type of cake we would like. I received many compliments on the cake and the best thing about Grauls was the price!

Graul's Bakery was very easy to work with. They had plenty of books and pictures to review and get an idea. They were flexible in which I could custom make any of the ideas I saw in the pictures.
The traditional pound cake w/Butter cream icing was the best wedding cake I have ever tasted. I have since purchased many cakes from Graul's for special events. I look forward to continuing to enjoy their cakes for many years to come, including the Baptism of my first child.

I ordered my cake 2 months before the wedding, and they were more than helpful! The cake was by far the tastiest thing at the wedding, and very beautiful! They were more than willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to give me exactly what I wanted! I would highly reccommend them! (The price was by far the cheapest in Annapolis, and well worth it!)

We had no regrets with getting our wedding cake at Graul's Market! Grocery store wedding cakes are just as delicious as bakery cakes, but usually a fraction of the price. However, the downside of using grocery store cakes is that most grocery stores lack a delivery service. Graul's Market is the exception, with delicious affordable cakes as well as an option for delivery. They delivered our beautiful cake at the promised time, and we thoroughly enjoyed eating the cake. We also loved that they had pound cake options, and that we can customize two flavors per layer so that our guests can have more variety with each bite of cake. Thank you Graul's Market!

The best part of getting a cake from here is that the cake tasting is free! Call in advance for the date and they are very accommodating to your wants to make your day special. My guests were in love with our cake and I cannot wait for our anniversary cake!

I wanted a smaller cake as I was having other desserts at my wedding, but still wanted to classic cake cutting experience. I went to the Annapolis Graul's Market and was amazed at the great price for a 2-tiered cake. They took photos of what I was envisioning and provided exactly what I was looking for! They delivered the cake to my reception location, making everything that much easier. I'd highly recommend using Graul's!

We are so happy that we used Graul's Market Ruxton for our daughter's wedding cake. We had sampled their pound cake at a wedding expo, and knew it was what we wanted. Their cakes taste so much better than those from a traditional wedding bakery, and they are much more affordable. We got a 3-tiered cake, all layers were pound cake of a different flavor. My daughter was able to work with the cake decorator to design exactly how she wanted it to look, and it turned out to be fabulous. Also, she surprised the groom with a groom's cake: carrot cake (2 tiers) decorated in a Game of Thrones theme. It looked amazing and tasted just as great! Would definitely recommend this bakery to anyone!

Anybody who doesn't use Grauls Market for their wedding cake is crazy! Our cake was beautiful and 1/2 of the price that the other bakeries wanted for the same cake design. The team at Grauls Market took time to sit with us to design the exact cake we wanted. The cake was also delicious, which you don't often find with wedding cakes. Finally, they will provide an anniversary cake to the couple at no charge, allowing you to cut all the layers of your cake and not needing to freeze a cake for a year.

Affordable and Delicious
We ordered our wedding cake and cupcakes from Grauls Market in Annapolis. We knew we wanted a small cutting cake and desserts that guests could grab and go, we also didn't want to spend a fortune. When we first contacted the bakery they put a tasting box together for us which included several cake, icing, and filling flavors. We simply told them the flavors we wanted a sent a picture of the cake design. We also ordered chicken salad, bagels, quiches, and a cheese platter for the morning of the wedding. Pick up was easy and the food was sooo good. If you're looking for someone affordable but still delicious Grauls is it!

When first shopping for a wedding cake, I was absolutely floored by the prices. I didn't have (nor did I want to) $1,500 to spend on a wedding cake! In comes Graul's like a superhero. They have in-home cake-tasting (with six HUGE cupcakes baked to order for your desired cake/filling/icing combinations), which takes the pressure off of instant decisions. They are INCREDIBLY affordable and INCREDIBLY delicious! And when I approached them about an intricate icing design to top the cake (nerd alert: it was a sentence in Gallifreyan), they said no problem, and it came out beautifully! I could not have been more pleased. The only reason this isn't a full five-star review is that we had some minor communication issues at the beginning due to some staff changes, but that seems to have all been worked out now. Overall I HIGHLY recommend Graul's for your wedding cake!

Graul's was a great choice for our wedding cake, My husband and I wanted something simple and casual since we were paying for a dessert table at our venue. We went to Graul's to ask about the cake and they were able to let us do a tasting. After the tasting, we went in and described the cake we wanted along with giving picture examples of some cakes we liked. We asked the baker to use some of her own creativity and the cake came out awesome! (She loved it too and asked us to send a picture of it once the cake topper was on!) I would highly recommend using Graul's for your wedding cake!

I am big on researching the most cost effective options for all purchases and my wedding cake vendor was no different. I was recommended to consider Graul's due to their reasonable pricing and great tasting cakes. After the cake tasting, I was sold on Graul's pound cakes and ordered 3 different flavors for my 3 tiered wedding cake. When I arrived at my wedding, the cake was absolutely stunning and tasted delicious. In addition, Graul's sends couples a 1 year anniversary cake, so you don't necessarily have to free the top layer. I highly recommend.

After realizing how expensive wedding cakes were, we heard about Graul's wedding cakes from our caterer. They gave us a free tasting and showed us some pictures and I was sold! For $200, we got an amazing cake for 75 people. People were commenting on the cake and how good it was. It was also beautiful! This was such a good deal and Lisa was so nice to work with! I would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to spend $1,000 on a wedding cake!

One of the best values for cakes, and you couldn't tell the difference from the ridiculously priced other cakes around. Where the variety of flavors you might find elsewhere is not present here, Graul's had undoubtedly the best red velvet cake we tried, and really great pound cakes as well! The "frills" that may be missing from flavor selection (which is not a big deal) were made up with incredible decorating, the cakes were beautiful! That being said, there were issues with decorating and keeping track of payments, all of which were corrected, but it was a bit of panic-stricken moment when the morning of the wedding they called and had misplaced the picture of what was to be on the groom's cake. Luckily it was quickly resolved and beautifully so. Would recommend to others, just be sure to keep in touch with the bakery and make sure things are in order before the big day. Thanks for some GREAT cakes!

Graul's was a great value. Susan (the baker) was so friendly and helpful, especially since we made so many changes. You don't get a free cake tasting since it is a grocery store, but Susan made sample cakes (which you have to pay for). The only issue was the fact that they don't deliver on Sundays, so we had to pick up and set up ourselves (which was easy). At the end, we were very happy and the cake looked great and tasted delicious.

We went to Sugarbaker's first and were impressed with their cake flavor selections and designs; however, their pricing was outrageous! Graul's Market was recommended to us by our wedding venue, so we met with the bakery department in Ruxton. Although Graul's might not have as many cake flavor selections, the cakes that they do make are outstanding! We decided on two layers of pound cake and devil's food cake for the third tier. Graul's was easy to work with, at about a third of the cost. All of our guests enjoyed the cake, as did my husband and I! Graul's will bake you another small cake on your anniversary so that you do not have to freeze the top tier of the wedding cake. They delivered the cake on time, and in great condition. We also ordered cupcakes for the bridal shower, and they were a big hit!

Our cake tasting was not as formal as I thought it would be. I called to set up an appointment and we had to wait for a while before we were assisted. It would've been better if the baker manager was more presentable / professional when we were greeted. The tasting process was simple and quick and my favorite part was deciding how we want the cake to look like. The baker manager showed us some options but allowed us to be as flexible in sharing our ideas. I attached the instructions and photo inspo that we provided them and we were quite impressed with how they were able to create our beautiful wedding cake! They definitely did great and beyond our expectations. Overall, it was a pleasure working with Graul's Market for our wedding cake.

I am so happy we went with Graul's for our wedding cake! Not only was it the most reasonably-priced cake vendor I could find in the Annapolis area (by a lot), the cakes we got were beautiful and amazing. I worked with Sheena at the Annapolis location and she took the rough design idea I had (based on a couple of pictures I emailed her) and turned it into reality. We got tons of compliments on the two cakes we chose (one almond with raspberry filling that was tiered and one sheet cake of marble with chocolate ganache) and it was delivered to our location with no issues. I would recommend to any bride and groom looking to get an amazing cake at an amazing price. 9Also, their tasting was fun - we picked it up from the market and were given samples of each of their 6-8 cakes and 6-8 fillings/frostings so we could mix and match different options and choose the perfect combinations!)

I had multiple people tell me that our wedding cake was the best wedding cake they have ever had. It was delicious, and we did not have any left over! It was slightly difficult getting a hold of someone the week of the wedding to verify drop off times and the final payment, but it all worked out in the end. You cannot even compare wedding cakes from other bakeries to Grauls, between the taste and the price you literally cannot go wrong.

Graul's makes the best tasting cakes ever! Real cake with real buttercream icing can't be beat. Our wedding was small and there were only about 50 people there. Since the two-tiered cake (suitable for 50-60) just looked more like an anniversary cake than a wedding cake, we opted for the three tier cake (suitable for 90-100) as it just looked better. And if there were leftovers, no problem. Well, we need not have worried about leftovers. With almost an hour left in the reception I saw the venue staff carrying the cake carcass back to the kitchen with but a few crumbs on the platter. 50 people ate the entire cake!!! Anytime we need a cake for anything, it's always Graul's we call!

We ordered our wedding cake from grauls. It was very tasty and pretty. The only thing that could have been better is the lighting made the flowers like yellow and we wanted blush. But that was the lighting at my venue that played on that. I would highly recommend if you are looking for value, taste and something pretty.
