Grant Swift was one of the best decisions we made with our wedding. I wanted to surprise my husband with a live performance of our first dance song and Grant knocked it out of the park ! He was so accommodating with all the date changes for our wedding due to covid and played songs that I requested. We will always cherish the memory of having Grant perform at our wedding. 10/10 will always recommend. You couldn't ask for anyone better for your event. -

We hired Grant to perform at our intimate wedding celebration. His music was beyond anything we could have hoped for. Grant kept our guests dancing from cocktail hour straight through the evening. The event was truly magical and we could not have done it without him.
Grant's music selection was perfect when dancing and while guests were dining. He adds extra beats while playing along with music/percussion from his ipad, so there isn't a need for a full band at all when he is playing. His song selection was versatile, classics and pop hits. Many guests asked for Grant's contact information throughout the night and everyone was full of compliments for him.
We plan to refer Grant to all our friends and family for future events! I could not recommend him more highly. Very kind, communicate throughout the process. Arrived hours ahead of schedule to ensure set up was perfect and played amazing music throughout the night. THANK YOU!! -

We can’t speak highly enough of Grant and his band. We had a Sunday afternoon wedding and were pretty specific in what we were looking for - Grant was responsive, collaborative, creative, and a joy to work with both leading up to the big day and the day of. Grant performed solo (during our ceremony) and as a trio for the party. He and the band are so talented!! They played all the music we love and had a great mix of soft cocktail style music plus dance party Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston! It was the perfect balance of the different music styles we wanted. You can’t go wrong with Grant! -

Grant did such an amazing job performing at our wedding! Music is very important to me, and he helped me have a wedding where all of the attendees were saying things like "the music choices are phenomenal".
His list of songs he know is already extremely solid, but he also learned one song because it was very important for us to have it included. He also coordinated additional musicians and it was one less thing I had to worry about.
For example, he had a violinist with him for the procession and ceremony and a bassist with him for the cocktail hour.
he also helped me in figuring out how to organize the setlist and how many songs to include.
It was really perfect! -

My husband and I hired Grant and a violinist to play while our guests were arriving for our ceremony, and we also commissioned him to prepare two custom arrangements for us (instrumental versions of contemporary songs, to be played just before and during the processional). He was quick to reply to my initial email, and was easy and pleasant to communicate with both in writing and over the phone. He sent us the scores of our custom arrangements a week before the wedding so we could hear a preview, but we were nevertheless blown away by the beauty and complexity of the musicians' interpretations of the songs when we finally heard them live in what turned out to be one of my favorite moments from the whole wedding. Last but not least, Grant's prices for his services are remarkably reasonable! I would absolutely recommend Grant & his accompanying colleagues to any couple in the area, and would especially encourage them to take advantage of Grant's skill in preparing unique, gorgeous arrangements. -

Fantastic friendly and fun
Grant (and Andy) were a huge hit at our wedding. We got numerous compliments from our guests about their performances during cocktail hour and dinner. When we met with them ahead of the event they were fun to hang out with but also very professional. Highly recommended! -

Alison Sent on 07/31/2018My husband and I could not have been happier with having Grant be a part of our wedding in Philadelphia. After searching and searching for the right fit of a wedding band, we felt as if we struck gold when we came across Grant. We wanted everyone to be upbeat and dancing along but still wanted the vibe of the music we love. Grant was extremely flexible with us and even threw a band together that you thought they would have been an official band together for years! Everyone at our wedding could not get enough of the music and the dance floor was filled with non-stop dancing. Do yourself a favor and have Grant play your wedding too!!

Thomas Sent on 11/19/2017Swift Glidden played guitar to accompany our wedding ceremony in Prospect Park. His music was seamlessly part of the event, using musical transitions to indicate transitions in the ceremony. Procession goes on two times longer than expected? Don't worry, he can flexibly and subtly riff to extend songs or cut songs short.
He was also a huge help in choosing our music selection. While we had specific requests for some parts of the ceremony, we didn't have much of an idea what to do for others. He was able to draw on his extensive musical library to come up with the perfect songs to match the emotions we were going for.
His repertoire includes not only the usual acoustic songs, but a huge library of songs that are far from acoustic guitar in their original forms, which he has adapted into surprising, clever, and always great sounding music. -
