  Our wedding reception was perfect, thanks to the staff at The Grand Haven Golf Club! I can't even say enough good things about everything from the room set up to accomodating all the special/unique requests that I had. The food was amazing, Chef Nick was great! The event planner Christa did everything she could to make the day/night run smoothly, literally nothing went wrong! The GM of the club, Lew also was amazing, 5 stars in every category :)

  Grand Haven Golf Club was so beautiful for our wedding. We were so worried about it raining on our big day but with the overcast sky made everything look so lush and green. The staff at the Club were so helpful and friendly. Our guest loved their meals and the wonderful atmosphere.

  They were always prompt in contacting me before the wedding when I had questions. The entire staff was wonderful. They were helpful, pleasant, personable, engaging and professional. They helped us decorate, went out of there way to get me things I needed or found out I needed once I got started. I can not say enough good about them all. From the kitchen staff, to the servers to the cleaning people. Everyone was fun to work with and flexible as needed. The venue itself was beautiful. We had 230 guests, with cocktails/appatizers in the gazeebo as well as pizza outside at night in the gazeebo. The staff did a great job with ALL of that. Pizza was terrific.

  Our experience working with Grand Haven Golf Club was very positive. The staff worked very hard to help make our daughter's wedding reception memorable and special. We would highly recommend their services to others for a special event.

  I give Grand Haven Golf Club 5 stars. I was so impressed from the beginning. Nick the chef prepared different food choices for us at our tast testing which we enjoyed at a table with linen and his presence there was wonderful because we were talking to the person who was preparing our food for our final evening and new he would make everything we ask for, he even made the Bride her own potato choice and chicken strip meals for the kids that we had at the reception ( this was a huge hit for kids ). We received many comments about the food and especially the chatue brion... Excellent choice, there food was great. We always felt welcome to stop in to see the room at anytime. Cassie and Krista were so very accommodating, when setting up anything we asked they were there to help with a smile. Every detail we had discussed they made happen. We were even welcomed there by them personally after the wedding offering to get us a drink or anything else we needed, they also checked in with us throughout the evening to see if everything was going well. I highly recommend Grand Haven Golf Club !

We had buffet style and food was perfect, well cooked, and hot; kudos to Chef Nick and his staff. The staff who helped out with cake and the food during the reception were quick and went way over the top to make every guest happy!!! Cassie and her team let us come to the golf course ahead of time to take photos and use their golf carts, which was a bonus for us! The owner and her were also patient even dealing with my high maintance mother in law. They always worked everything out!!! I highly recommend this location, it's value, its quality, and its service will be something we will never forget. We loved everything they have done for us and this is the place to be!!! THANK YOU!

  I absolutely loved everything about the golf club. The staff was extremely helpful. The event planner was readily available to answer any questions I had. She actually, frequently had answers for me before I could think to ask the question. She was extremely professional and friendly throughout the whole thing. She was there throughout the rehearsal and then the entire wedding day.
  
  The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The golf course had all the rental items that I needed and included them in the total cost. I loved that I didn't have to have multiple vendors for things like linens, tables, chairs, etc.

  Grand Haven Golf Club was a beautiful venue for our wedding reception. The staff was very helpful and had suggestions when it came time to set-up the room. The facility and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous and created a wonderful, welcoming environment to our guests.

  Planning an out-of-state wedding definitely has it's challenges. We were looking for a full-service reception venue because we lived in Minnesota and we unable to do many of the tasks ourselves. Grand Haven Golf Club offered a fabulous setting and suited us perfectly. Carrie was an absolute pleasure and we definitely couldn't have done it without her. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a wedding!

  If it hadn't been for Christa Campbell, I believe working with GHGC would have been a major headache. She was great to work with and made the whole planning experience very comfortable and stress-free! They didn't get a 5/5 only because of a issue with transition between Event Directors, that left me very anxious. But if you are going to book an event at GHGC, be sure to plan with Christa! We had a beautiful day for our wedding, the staff were amazing, the food was fabulous (props to Chef Nick for a job very well done!!!!) and all the vendors worked so well together, through Christa. I would plan another party at GHGC! Thank you!

  The bar was shut down early, items that we wanted to keep came up missing. The decorations were not as I wanted some were not put out or incorporated as requested. The tables were not placed as requested. The party was shut down early. I was very disappointed and saddened by these events. I would recommend for future events but would caution anyone to be very specific with your instructions. I would also caution you to not leave valuables (things on the table) unattended. Purses and things were fine.

Pricing fluctuated (increasing) every time we asked. Unprofessional is the best descriptive word to describe our experience. The end result was nice (although not exactly as we agreed) but getting to that point created a tremendous amount of unnecessary stress. I would not recommend.

We literally had to plan the entire wedding with a bartender I friended on facebook. That was the only way to get in and measure anything for decorations. They also left our entire contract blank and then proceded to overcharge the original agreement. It was such a huge disappointment and let down. I would never ever ever recommend using them. I used to be a banquet server on college and am so laid back when it comes to customer service, but I was GREATLY disappointed.
