Perfect for Alternative Couples

Craig and his team are definitely the DJ team for the alternative couple! He played all of our favorites, including non-traditional wedding music. We had a wide variety of requests, from Rob Zombie, to Broadway Musicals. Craig played it all and we had a great time. Cannot recommend his services enough! Thank you so much, Craig!

Excellent DJ Service

We had a great experience with Grand DJ. Craig was so friendly when we met him at a Bridal Show in Burlington, WI. I absolutely loved the Website and I was able to share so much information to help the DJ Greg know how things would go for the ceremony and reception. I loved the ability to create a playlist. It allowed you to search songs by title or musical artist, you could listen to the song for free immediately, and then add it to the playlist. Super Easy. They also had a list of different genres and top 100 current songs to choose from.
Greg was our DJ for the service and reception. He was very nice, professional and did an overall excellent job with providing music for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. He played the songs I selected for the Grand March and the special dances. He checked in with me frequently throughout the night and made the special announcements that I requested. He played songs requested by the guests and was flexible in adjusting the playlist. He kept people out on the dance floor all night. I got several compliments on DJ Greg from our guests. I would highly recommend Greg and Grand DJ Service.

Great DJ, I would highly recommend!

We had Craig as our DJ for our wedding on 9/30/2023 and he was amazing! He did a great job with the music for our ceremony, making announcements, and keeping the dance floor packed the whole night! He was responsive throughout the planning process and has reasonable prices. There is an online planning platform that you can select your ceremony music as well as pick must plays and don’t plays. I would highly recommend this company.

The best dj!

Craig is amazing!!! He was able to provide battery powered equipment for our ceremony site that didn’t have electricity. He was super engaging with all our guests and anything we needed, Craig or his wife were on it!! We got SO many compliments on the music played at our wedding, and there was always people on the dance floor. I would choose grand DJ entertainment a million times over!

Best ever Event

I worked with Craig previously on many different levels and that contributed to me wanted to have his business at our wedding. Craig new how personable we were and made sure we were put in the best hands with Greg with our low key off the chars attitude. We couldn’t be more gracious and felt like nothing but at home! Fantastic Experience

Everyone says the DJ makes or breaks your wedding, so trying to find a good DJ was a bit overwhelming. Grand DJ was referred to us by my in-laws, and I can’t say enough good things. Craig was awesome to work with. He was very flexible with arrangements during the ceremony and reception. As with any wedding unexpected things may happen, but let me just say that Craig went above and beyond to help make our day special. Can’t thank him enough.

Perfect Wedding DJ!

DJ Greg was so fantastic. He was easy to work with and pleasant to talk to! He made our wedding day so special and didn't miss a beat! We provided him with a schedule for the day and he kept everyone (guests and vendors) on track. So glad we went with Grand DJ for our wedding! Can't imagine anyone doing a better job. Wonderful! Great guy!

Craig was the best! He was very responsive from the beginning and ready to help and answer any questions we had from beginning to wedding! We got to choose songs to play and not play and also let him run with our playlist which he killed at the reception. He was SUPER helpful the day of and took control of the little details that I forgot about and made nothing slipped through the cracks. He was a great hype man and the guests all had a great time! I would recommend him to anyone!

Excellent wedding DJ

Helpful, flexible, and overall great experience!

I had a wonderful experience working with Craig at Grand DJ Entertainment! He was responsive and flexible throughout the planning process, and day-of, I felt relaxed knowing that Craig was helping keep the timeline on track and just generally being the MC of the evening. Besides doing an excellent job with the reception entrances and toast introductions, he did an excellent job DJing our music selections and keeping people coming back to the dance floor. I even had guests commenting on what a great job he did! Definitely recommend!

Our DJ, Greg, did a wonderful job playing our music. Not only that, he was able to help guide us through hiccups throughout our reception to keep things moving and keep everyone having a good time. Craig Should be your #1 Choice

If I could get married again I’d choose Craig to be our DJ all over again. He was so easy to work with from the very beginning. There is a website crafted just for the couples where we can select our song choices as well as do all the planning we need and have it all in one place. Craig is so personable and really awesome at what he knew how to get the crowd going and kept them going! There’s no doubt you should hire Craig for your next event. His prices were also very reasonable!

Kept us and our friends dancing!

Craig was amazing. He told me that I will have nothing to worry about and he will handle everything the day of the wedding and he sure did keep his word! He was awesome at pivoting and planning next steps and it was really nice to not have to be the decision maker on the day of our wedding. Super Fun DJ & Easy to Work With!

We booked Grand DJ after seeing them as a DJ at another family member's wedding. They were easy to work with and had a website where we could add our song choices before our wedding which was easy to use. My husband surprised me by singing a song to me at our wedding and he worked with Craig ahead of time to pull off this surprise flawlessly for me. We highly recommend Craig and Grand DJ to anyone looking for a fun, but reasonable DJ for their event!

Craig made the process so easy! We had him for the ceremony as well as the reception and it all went very smoothly. He was very professional and lots of fun. He honored all of my requests, even the very last minute ones! He found Irish music for us and even played the jeopardy song for a game we played. Everyone had so much fun! Dream Come True

Craig was responsive from the beginning and was a great recommendation from our venue. He was helpful in making sure our wedding ran smoothly and guests knew what to expect. He even made my fiancé’s day by making sure to include our odd request for “commercial bumpers” in-between songs without a problem. He then went above and beyond to send my fiancé additional old commercials he loved himself on a usb drive!! A great guy I’d recommend to anyone looking for a great DJ!

Best day ever!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Craig! Craig was so easy to work with and was so helpful in the planning process. His online portal was easy to use and very organized. He was SO flexible as our plans changed due to the pandemic. He traveled to two venues with us and was prompt and ready to go. Music was something we never had to worry about. The guests had a blast and we danced the night away. Highly recommend.

BEST night of our lives!

Eric was AMAZING at our wedding at the Byron Colby Barn. The week before our wedding we were feeling stressed and Eric met up with us for like 2.5 hours just to help us plan out the music we wanted for the most important day of our life, he genuinely wanted to help us (even after a long day of work!). My fiancé (now husband...) forgot to submit the list of Polish songs my family requested to be played at the wedding and during the reception, is when we noticed. Eric immediately started throwing all of the songs we wanted together and incorporate them into the night beautifully!!! Everyone was dancing all night and we will never forget how much fun we had. As a bride and groom, the day of the wedding can be very stressful and Eric did an amazing job rolling with the punches as adjusted to every curve ball without a blink of an eye! Our wedding day was truly a night we will never forget!

Eric was absolutely amazing. He asked just as many questions about what we were looking for we had for him. We got numerous compliments from guests in attendance. He went our of his was multiple times to ensure that we were having a good time as well as our guests. He was super fun and energetic. Very attentive to how the crowd was reacting to everything and made sure the dance floor was always full. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Awesome Wedding DJ Company!

To anyone getting married, my (now) wife and I can't give a high enough recommendation to Craig and his company. They were very professional and knew exactly what to do to make our day special. Our DJ, Eric Anderson, absolutely killed it and we got too many compliments from our guests to list here. The dance floor was non stop packed until the very end. He met with us prior to our wedding to get a feel for what kind of music we wanted and to staighten out all of the little details (entrance to the ballroom, introductions, etc.). Other than our must play list, Eric selected all the music based on his interview questions with us and his choices were all on point and kept the dance crowd amped the entire time. A Grand Wedding with Grand DJ Entertainment!

We feel so lucky that DJ Eric & Grand DJ Entertainment were part of our Wedding Day! From our first in person meeting with company owner Craig, we felt that they would make sure to take care of us on our special day. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to meet with DJ Eric before the event date, but he always answered our questions over the phone & by e-mail in a timely fashion. Their website made the process clear and simple, & we appreciated how easy it was to make timelines & lists of songs we wanted & didn’t want. On the wedding day, DJ Eric frequently checked in with us to make sure we were having a great time at the reception. He played all the songs we wanted, & timed everything in a way that was perfect. He went above & beyond with emceeing. He promised us that dance floor would never be empty if that’s what we wanted, & he definitely accomplished that! 100% helpful. I worked with Craig and he was the best. He even reached out to me to see if I needed help when I was gallinnba bit (a lot) behind on the information he’d need, and was kind and understanding. He played everything I had on my mustnplay and I basically let him have the rest of the control, and he did a great time. Craig was great to work with. We did all the prep work ourselves ahead of time using the online portal, and then a couple days before the wedding Craig gave us a call to walk through all the details. He kept everyone on the dance floor and was very flexible when we had a slight change of plans, deciding not to do a formal thank-you announcement before starting our dance music. Craig was awesome. He supported our ceremony and reception in two different locations and did so seamlessly. He was a good MC throughout the reception, followed our requests for plays and 'Do Not Plays', took requests, helped with lighting, and kept the night moving. The dance floor was packed the whole night. Sounds quality was great. The communication and meetings were fun and productive leading up to our big day. He was flexible, but also helped us map out the night and corresponding soundtrack in a way that kept everything flowing. Eric was amazing to work with for our wedding! He made everything so easy and was so easy to get ahold of whenever I had questions. I had some special requests and even a surprise planned for my fiancé and Eric made everything go so smoothly and pull off the ultimate surprise. Craig and Grand Dj Entertainment was outstanding to say the least. Craig was very professional and flexible at the same time. He has/ had the ability to adapt to last minute changes as well as being thorough with knowing the names in the wedding party. You can count on him to play amazing music to the style you like and choose. The setup was amazing, and at no point could you see wires or any aspect of his setup that would interfere or be an eye sore. At no point was Craig in the way or was his equipment. Craig was phenomenal. He's been at a few other relatives weddings so we've seen him in action and we knew that we needed him for our wedding. He was available for us anytime we needed him to answer all of our questions via email or phone. The online planning form was so easy and convenient to use. I got to list songs that are a "must play", as well as those songs that were not allowed to be played at my wedding. Also, months before the wedding, I had contacted Craig about creating a "surprise fun" dance song for my dad and I to use. He was an incredible help. I gave him the songs I wanted and he mashed them together so we could have the song to practice to. It was awesome! He also did wonderfully at our ceremony. He was such a blessing throughout the entire day, making sure that him and the photographers were all on the same page. Fantastic. Wonderful. The best! You will not be disappointed!!

Just wanted to drop a couple lines that you could post on your website about what a great job Greg from Grand DJ Entertainment did at our wedding last Saturday. During the ceremony under extremely hot and humid conditions, he did a great job with all of the music played exactly as we asked. Then the rest of the night he nailed all of the announcements and played a great combination of music to keep the dance floor packed. He was a super nice guy, very professional and we would definitely recommend him to our friends and family. Another thing, we messaged Grand DJ Entertainment hours before the wedding to get some songs put into the ceremony and they came through without a hitch.

Eric Anderson was amazing at our wedding this past Saturday!! I never realized how important the DJ is to the entire wedding running smoothly. He made sure every vendor was in sync, he communicated with myself and my husband throughout to make sure we were doing ok, he kept the party going without any interruptions or awkward changes with the band we had, and even relayed when dinner needed to be served with our venue. We can't say enough good things about him! And obviously he was terrific at making announcements and choosing which songs to play when. I strongly recommend him! I might be biased, since I'm the bride, but we had the best wedding! We enjoyed dancing the night away with songs that we actually wanted to dance to. Ive been to places where the music just wasnt fun to dance to but this was our style and we loved it. We had a ball picking out music that we actually wanted to hear instead of just music someone picked for us. They were with us every step of the way and checked in frequently. With planning everything, some stuff gets tucked in the cracks, but thankfully they checked enough and offered guidance. They are truly musical saints!
Love them and if anyone wants to invite us to any other wedding they will be DJ-ing....we would love to dance all night again ha!

Let me start by saying that Craig could not have done a better job during our recent wedding at Kemper Lakes Golf Club. We had been to a wedding he did before and that wedding was great too! The website for planning was so efficient and made sure they knew exactly what we wanted to hear when. Our ceremony/cocktail hour was outdoors and reception inside- that was no problem! Microphones and all worked great! He knew how to keep the flow and get the guests entertained. He made requesting new songs easy. Everyone had a great time and got out on the dance floor. The uplighting looked fantastic and was offered in so many colors. It was such a pleasure working with grand dj entertainment! I was confident the whole day and Craig made sure it was perfect!

They were great, Craig and Eric met with us three months prior to the event to explain the process and look at the venue, Craig gave us online access to their extensive music library to allow us to build a play list and more importantly a do not play list. Craig made himself available to answer questions along the way. The night of our event Eric was fantastic, we did not provide a lot of guidance or much of a playlist, Eric gets all the credit for keeping the party going and the dance floor hopping all night! I would highly recommend this team for anyone in need of a DJ!

Craig was absolutely wonderful. He's a personable Master of ceremonies and DJ. The dance floor was full all night! We've been to other events Craig DJ'd and have always been impressed.

Grand DJ Entertainment helps take the stress off your big day. Your personal DJ will call you a couple days before the wedding confirming everything you have planned. You'll have your DJ's cell phone number in case you wish to change anything last minute before your big event. I couldn't have been happier with the professionalism and respect this company has for you as the groom, bride, or member of the wedding party. I highly recommend Grand DJ Entertainment to DJ your wedding.

I hired Craig to DJ my outdoor wedding reception for about 60 guests. We had already eloped, but we wanted to celebrate with family and friends. Craig was extremely easy to work with in the weeks leading up to the event. He provided us with a website to select all of our songs, which was a HUGE selling point to my husband who was a bit "anti-DJ" (sorry Craig!). We were also able to pre-select the schedule and special songs for different points of the night. On the day of the reception, Craig arrived early to set up. Unfortunately, about 5 minutes before the guests arrived, the sky opened up and dumped an unbelievable amount of rain on our beautiful setup. Craig sprung to action and moved everything indoors and also helped us move tables and furniture under the tent so it wouldn't get ruined. Despite being soaked to the bone, he kept a smile on his face and stayed positive in the midst of chaos. He quickly set up his equipment indoors and got the party started. Things certainly didn't go as planned, but it made me appreciate hiring a true professional, because he made the best of a tough situation and seemed to know exactly what to do to salvage the night. All of my friends and family had a blast dancing to the great music and I'm still getting rave reviews about how fun of a night it was - even from my husband, the former DJ snob. :) Thank you!!!

Craig was so wonderful as our DJ!! He was super attentive and helpful. He made sure everything went smooth. We loved him and we would definitely recommend him as a DJ for your wedding!!

From the very beginning we were excited to use Grand DJ Entertainment. We had been to another wedding where Craig was the DJ and had a blast. The website was very user friendly and Craig got in contact with my the next day. He spent time to get to know me and my soon to be husband. He then set us up with a DJ Eric. The online planning tool was a perfect way to make sure we had everything we needed for our big night. Eric called a few nights before to go over all the details of our wedding and to get to know our story. The night of the event went flawless. Eric showed up early and prepared for our outdoor ceremony and inside reception at Villa Olivia in Bartlett, IL. He was so flexible with us and kept the party going all night long. He even let me play DJ for a bit. We will definitely be recommending Grand DJ Entertainment to anyone who is looking for a DJ. Thanks again Eric and Craig for making our evening a night that we will never forget!

Look no further for a DJ! Craig from Grand DJ was amazing from our first point of contact. He was quick to respond and address our needs. As our wedding got closer, Craig was amazing to work with. So much energy and obvious excitement for our reception. Everyone raved about the music at our reception. It was a perfect mix - everything we hoped for and more! We highly recommend Grand DJ for your wedding or any other special event!

Craig was beyond amazing! He is professional, timely, friendly, and a great asset to your wedding! Communication was great, he even Skyped with my husband and I because we are from out of state. Music was unbelievable!!! Played every song I wanted and kept guests dancing all night long! His announcing is great as well, he adds a flare that every wedding needs. I would HIGHLY recommend Grand DJ entertainment for any occasion!!!!

Craig was our dj for our wedding on April 30th, 2016 and it was nothing short of spectacular. Every little change or special note I gave him he remembered. He was extremely flexible with last minute updates and really got the crowd involved. Couldn't have asked for a better night.

Craig was AMAZING!!! We were feeling unsure of whether or not to hire a DJ for our small wedding reception, but as soon as he and I spoke on the phone I was 100% convinced. He listened to me talk about our vision for the party, he was completely accepting, reassuring, and extremely personable to boot. My husband and I were very set on a particular playlist for our reception, but the truth is that we should've just told Craig to play whatever he wanted and the party would've been perfect. About 2 hours into the 4 hour reception, people were not really dancing to the playlist that my husband and I insisted upon (again, Craig was bending over backward to do whatever we wanted for the music--totally amenable to whatever we wanted, so lovely to work with.) When I saw that people weren't dancing to the music my hubbie and picked out, I went up to Craig and said, "Get people on the dance floor. Forget our playlist, you have carte blanche." On the very next song, the dance floor was filled and the dancing didn't stop the whole night. The man is a magician. He knows how to read a crowd, he knows music, and he knows how to throw a party. Hire him. You won't be disappointed.

Best DJ - He has been the DJ at the last 5 weddings I have been to and he has always done a great job. Very professional and worth every penny! He helped me pick out a lot of our songs and it all turned out great. Highly recommend him - he knows how to keep the party going and makes everything run smoothly at the reception.
