Booking Grand Central Station for our wedding was the best decision we made! The dance floor was absolutely packed from the moment the reception started. They are all so talented, played the best music, and without a doubt made our wedding!! Everyone all night was raving about how amazing they are and how they are the best wedding band they’ve ever seen! I’m still getting texts from guests about how great the band was 3 days later. Paul was also so great through the entire process leading up to the wedding, was so accommodating with our first dance/ parent dance songs and any specific song requests we had. He made it a seamless process. I truly could not recommend Grand Central Station more. Stop looking and book them I promise you will not regret it!! -

Just amazing Paul and GCS! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding reception and you helped make that possible! Even the event manager said the band was fantastic, and most bands for the Roundhouse are from Beacon/NYC vicinity! Thank you so much for making the trip!

Hire this band and don't look back!
Grand Central Station did an awesome job at our wedding! I was nervous about them before the wedding because we hired them based off their Wedding Wire & Knot reviews and we were only able to see them play a few songs at an event we travelled to. Coming up from NYC, I thought maybe they wouldn't be what we were looking for, but they were exactly what we were looking for! We didn't want the typical DJ that was going to blast the music and lights to the point that you couldn't think and couldn't enjoy the party. They kept everyone entertained and dancing and played to the room beautifully. We've gotten so many compliments from our friends and our parents' friends on how great the band was. They played everything from 60s, to country, to pop, etc. Our only regret of the wedding was that we didn't have more time with them! -

Grand Central Station ROCKED our wedding reception and we absolutely loved having them provide the entertainment for the evening. They are one of our favorite local bands and we were so happy to have them help us make our special day fantastic. Our reception was a little non-traditional because we had eloped the year before, so this was more of a family/friends celebration and one-year anniversary party. Paul and the GCS crew listened to all of our requests and delivered beyond our expectations. They worked with us through a special twist on our first dance song and it was exactly as we pictured it. We asked them to bring the party and they DID. Additionally, they included some amazing surprises throughout the evening, such as asking my dad (a guitarist) to join them for a song and also inviting a couple of our guests (also local musicians) to play with them for a few songs as well. Every song we asked them to play, they played. Every song we asked them to avoid, they avoided. Paul was extremely communicative right up until the event start, making sure he and the band fully understood what we wanted. And beyond the songs we requested, they seemed to know exactly what other songs to play that got people up on their feet. We cannot thank them enough and our guests are still telling us how much fun they had at our party. If you want a band that will keep your guests on the dance floor all night long, look no further than Grand Central Station! -

We could not recommend Grand Central Station more for your wedding. Paul was great in helping us with picking out songs leading up to the wedding and he captured our song list perfectly. Once they started playing, the dance floor was packed the whole time. They made sure to play a variety of genres and songs that everyone could sing along to. After the wedding, everyone commented on how great the band was and how much fun they had. We wish we could have kept the partying going all night! You won't be disappointed if you book this band! -

The band was seriously the highlight of our reception! The dance floor was packed the entire night! We had aunts & uncles in their 60s dancing with the 20-somethings! GCS truly knows how to play music everyone can enjoy! From the older classics to the top hits -- they simply DO IT ALL! Worth every penny to have these guys play your wedding. Thank you Paul & the GCS band for everything. You truly made the night one to remember! -

We booked GCSB after hearing many good reviews and they absolutely did not disappoint! Paul was great to work with and we really appreciated his attention to detail with regard to meeting our expectations of what we wanted our wedding band/entertainment to bring to our reception. They promised a party for our guests and that is exactly what we got! They also learned our first dance song and played it flawlessly, which was so special. -

Incredible band!
These guys were AWESOME. Easy to work with, great musicians, and kept us dancing all night long. They also sang our song, Joy of My Life by Chris Stapleton and it was INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend. -

Grand Central Station is hands down the best group of live performers in the area.
From the M/C during introductions and speeches to the music selection for special dances, dinner hour, party time and the final song they had everything under control and kept everyone entertained young and not so young. Toward the end of the night even the venue staff were dancing. Safe to say EVERYONE had a blast! Thank you Grand Central Station! -

We received compliment after compliment saying how AMAZING they are. They kept people dancing during the whole reception - not kidding...from the very beginning people were dancing and then we extended an hour at the end because there were so many people on the dance floor having fun. Paul and the rest of the band are helpful, accommodating, professional and fun. Thank you to GCS for making our special day so magical and spectacular! -

Our Party came together BECAUSE of this AMAZING BAND!!!!
Last summer the idea of a party for my 50th Birthday was just a thought - we went to a July 4th party where we saw Grand Central Station performing. From there my party was now a real thing and I had to have THIS band. I asked on the spot if they could hold my birthday weekend and from there the party came to life. On Saturday, November 13th Grand Central Station made my party so much fun and such a great celebration. Once everyone finished eating, I don't think there was one song that didn't have the crowd on the dance floor. Thank you so much for making our night so memorable. I am still hearing about how wonderful this party and the band were. If you are thinking about hiring a band - look no further this is the best band out there. Grand Central Station made our wedding a PARTY. Our guests (of all ages!) stayed on the dance floor all night long! GCS was incredible at reading our crowd and responding to their energy and preferences. After hearing how the groom was a longtime fan of T Swift in my best friend's MOH speech, the band made sure to include Love Story in the set and called him out. It was a really fun moment. They also did a fantastic job leading our unique wedding party entrance, and MCing the evening. From our initial contact to the night of the wedding, Paul and his bandmates were kind, professional, and all-around easy to work with. Our venue was thrilled to hear we would be working with them and had the highest praise for them. The night truly would not have been the same without them and we are so unbelievably grateful to have booked Grand Central Station. -

Marina Sent on 10/10/2018We are SO happy we decided to book GCS. My parents had seem them several times at bars and venues in the area and they came highly recommended by some of our friends. They traveled to our venue on Lake George and had everything set and ready to go without me needing to coordinate anything. Our guest were blown away by how fun and engaging they were. They played all the songs we specifically requested and kept the dance floor full all night. They also let my cousin step in and sing an amazing rendition of a 4 Non Blondes song while they played. It was possibly the best moment of the night. They are also a great value. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who is on the fence with Band vs. DJ. Go with GCS, you won't be sorry. -

Greatest wedding band of all time! Both of our families love to dance and have a fun time so we knew GCS had to be our band! GCS had our guests and ourselves dancing before dinner was even served and after dinner the dance floor was PACKED the entire time!! We danced the night away. Our guests loved them so much and said it was the best wedding they've been too. Many guests even asked for their card at the end of the night! -

Alyson Sent on 11/29/2014This band is the best! They certainly know how to keep the party going. At the end of the night our guests chanted one more song and sure enough we got one more song. We didn't get most of the songs we requested but we didn't mind too much. They worked great with the crowd and even pulled up a few people to sing and dance with them. Everyone, to this day, keeps commenting on how good the band was.
