Perfect Photographer for a Wedding
Gracie was exactly what I hoped for in a wedding photographer! We were so, so happy with how our wedding photos turned out! They are beautiful, classic, and timeless. When I was searching for a wedding photographer I wanted someone who would capture the colors and moments as they were on that day. Lots of photographers heavily edit photos and while they look good and are trendy now, in 50 years those photos will be outdated. Looking at the photos Gracie captured is like walking through the day all over again exactly as it looked!
Before picking a photographer Gracie did multiple phone call meetings with me so I was able to get to know her and understand her photography style. In preparation for the wedding, I was able to email her with any questions, send her a shot list, and we even had a Zoom meeting the week before the wedding to talk through how we imagined the day going. On the day of the wedding, she showed up on time, was kind to our whole wedding party and all of the guests, and even helped us stay on track with time. We had her for 10 hours to be able to capture getting-ready photos until we drove off after the reception. The cost was comparable if not better than other photographers in the area and I loved the style of her photos more than others. I would highly recommend Gracie to photograph anyone's wedding or other special life moments! -

I do not even know where to begin with how wonderful it was to work with Gracie! From our first inquiry to even after our wedding her communication was beyond thorough. The information and assistance she provided the entire way through was beyond our expectations and made the entire day so much smoother. From assisting with where to do engagement photos, to the day of timeline, and making sure we got all the shots, Gracie did not miss a beat. Not to mention she is the sweetest human ever!!! She has us laughing and relaxed during every stage of this experience and that truly calmed my nerves. Could not be more blessed to have worked with her!!! -

I don't know where to begin on how amazing Gracie is at photography. She has a true talent for photo taking and styling. We know Gracie through mutual friends, and we were SO lucky she was available for our wedding. She provides the clearest, crispest photos that are light and fun - exactly what we were looking for. Our wedding theme was rustic and boho, and the photos are exactly that.
Gracie also did our engagement photos in Alexandria, VA - she knew the best lighting, secret spots in the area, and made the evening so much fun.
For the wedding, she had a second shooter and they were such a joy to work with. Gracie and Emily took first look photos of my husband and I reading private letters, and I will cherish these photos forever.
When we talked about what we wanted for the wedding, my husband and I both decided we'd prefer to have action shots of the dance floor rather than getting ready photos, and Gracie delivered! The dance floor photos are some of the best I've seen.
I loved working with Gracie and would highly, highly recommend anyone looking for a photographer to reach out to her. -

Gracie was such an incredible wedding photographer. My husband and I are pretty camera shy and weren't really looking for a bunch of traditional wedding posed photos. Gracie was so nice and laid back, and really followed our lead with what we were looking for. At the same time, she talked us through different poses and photo scenarios to make sure we got some really great shots. She was also incredibly flexible when we had to reschedule the wedding due to Covid. Beyond being a dream photographer, she also came to the rescue so many times during the wedding - from helping to bustle my dress to providing backup batteries for my mini fan on a hot day to getting sneaky grasshoppers out of my dress. I cannot recommend Gracie highly enough!! -

Gosh, Gracie was a DREAM to work with. She was one of the first vendors I booked, and we clicked immediately. We met at a winery for our engagement shoot, and got to enjoy a glass of wine and loosen up before getting to taking photos. I didn’t have a clear idea of what I wanted from the photos, but Gracie worked with my husband and I to capture what would be photos that we will cherish forever. Best of all - she loved my pup and my pup loved her! COVID delayed our wedding plans and Gracie was so gracious in adjusting everything for us. We went through a number of date possibilities and iterations of what our wedding day might look like, and she was so flexible about it the entire time. There was not a single moment during which I felt that Gracie was frustrated with all of our changes. Our wedding weekend was hectic (a fusion wedding) and Gracie captured every moment possible. I received more sneak peek photos than Gracie was obligated to provide, and we were absolutely blown away by them all. Other than the food at our wedding, my guests couldn’t stop gushing about Gracie, and I can’t either! -

Amazing Photos!
Gracie was an absolute lifesaver for us when we decided to change our wedding date only a month ahead of our wedding. Despite the short notice, she took the time to get to know us over the phone, scope out photo locations for us, and go above and beyond to capture our wedding. Despite it being a micro wedding, her photos look intimate and full, and she really captured our emotions (in a flattering way!) despite my worries about looking awkward. Gracie is so kind and down to earth, and also passionate and so talented at what she does!
From the start, when looking for vendors for my big day I did A LOT of research and also asked around for referrals, and that is how I found Gracie. I am so thankful I did! Among many other things, we clicked instantly because she was also a 2020 bride and related with a lot of the struggles. Even with so many state wide restrictions in place, Gracie never missed a beat! She worked with us to select a safe and timely engagement shoot (wanted to use the pictures for our "Save the Dates"). She had sneak peaks sent over within days and her style/quality of the pictures had me even more excited for the wedding day. Seven days prior to the wedding day a new mandate was put in place restricting the guest count to 25 attendees. Gracie was so responsive and reassuring that it will still be the most perfect day...and it was! Gracie was early the day of and hit the ground running! She was patient yet provided awesome direction to our rowdy group. My guests even said "Your photographer looks like she is having a blast AND working, she must love her job!" Her attitude and over all personality was infectious within the group. She was our "hype" girl making everyone feel so beautiful. Gracie will no doubt be a lifelong photographer for me and my new family, but also a friend. I will never forget the most genuine kindness she exuded on the wedding day and planning months prior. She is a grade A photographer and her skills and customer service are unmatched. If you are looking for a wedding photographer look no more, this is your girl! -

From day 1 during our initial phone conversation, Gracie has been so flexible, readily available and easy to get along with, which is so important for making you feel comfortable in front of the lens. We used her for engagement and wedding photos and both turned out AMAZING! She even got some amazing engagement pictures with our crazy bulldogs! She is so artistic and creative and her editing style is totally classic. She is equally talented at capturing candids and portraits and you don’t even know she’s there. She is so sweet but can really boss things around when needed (helpful during chaotic family wedding photos.) We got a couple pictures by the end of the weekend of our wedding and a sneak peak by the beginning of the following week. She will be doing all family photos in the future! Do yourself a favor and BOOK HER ASAP for your wedding photographer!! You won’t be sorry. -

Beyond Amazed
Gracie is such a delight to work with and she made the day so easy. She used the natural beauty of our venue to her advantage and was able to capture absolutely stunning photos. She is such a happy presence to be around and she made the photography aspect of the day an absolute breeze. We seriously cannot recommend Gracie enough :) -

There are not enough good things I can say about Gracie. We are T H R I L L E D with the images from both our engagement session and our wedding! She was such a calming presence the day of - very relaxed, but still aware of the time, which is what every bride needs. The engagement and the wedding with her were a breeze. She expertly handled a large bridal party, family, and flower girl/ring bearers! On top of her mad photography skills, she feels like an old friend. Comfortable, kind, engaging, and funny...I could go on. I would 110% hire her again, and potential couples will be so glad they chose her! -

Gracie is absolutely fantastic to work with and her photography skills are amazing! All of our photos turned out so much more beautiful than I had expected! She is very organized, showed up early, had a great schedule planned for us, has a great personality and even helped is out in areas outside of photography during our wedding! When looking for a wedding photographer, I wanted to find someone whose photos were LIGHT! You scroll through Gracie's photos and you see color in all the right places, she doesn't edit with weird filters that dull your pictures down. This was so important to me, and since sharing the photos with friends and family, I have had so many people comment on just that. Working with Gracie prior to our wedding was so easy, she communicates well and makes sure she's giving you what you want for your taste.
Gracie was always in the right place at the right time on our wedding day. We didn't hire a second shooter, it was just her, and she captured every moment perfectly. She's also just a comfortable presence. When we met her on the day of our wedding, we knew we could be ourselves and that she could capture the wedding's vibe and our family'/friends' personalities. She sent us a "sneak peek" of over 80 photos THE DAY AFTER! Her final product is organized in an online gallery where you download all of the photos in one fell swoop. Forever grateful for Gracie's talent and so happy she was a part of our day! If you're looking in the VA area, go with Gracie! -

When we saw Gracie’s photos we knew we wanted to work with her, but our experience shooting our engagement photos was beyond what we could have asked for. She was so easy to talk to and willing to do anything to get “the shot” even if it meant climbing up a rock face along a waterfall! We absolutely love our pictures and cannot wait for her to shoot our wedding!! Gracie Withers is professional, communication was great and the quality of her photos is amazing. Gracie is the best!
Gracie was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. She was excellent with communication, very organized, thoughtful, extremely helpful and she made everyone feel very comfortable. And the pictures were phenomenal! Gracie was AMAZING to work with!! We received a sneak peek of our wedding pictures less than 24 hours after our wedding was over and I am absolutely in love with them all! She also had an assistant photographer which allowed us to get even more photos!! We have had so many lovely compliments from our guests that Gracie was a great photographer and that our pictures are beautiful! -
