I loved EVERYTHING about Gourmet Makeup! Joni and her assistant, Fran, were an amazing duo from start to finish. Joni's communication was phenomenal—even over email, I could feel her positive energy and attention to detail. She answered all my questions thoroughly and made sure everything was covered.
During our first convo, I shared my vision, and she was incredibly attentive and helpful in bringing it to life. We scheduled a trial for the day before the wedding, and it felt like getting my makeup done by a friend. All positive vibes—we laughed the whole time and got to know each other. We reviewed the look I was going for, and her professional insight helped me choose something that reflected both the occasion and my personality. I wanted to look like me, but with a pop of color and a little drama. She nailed it. I left that trial feeling confident the wedding day would be just as smooth—and it was.
On the big day, Joni and Fran went above and beyond. They did makeup for me and 8 ladies, each with their own personalities, preferences, and comfort levels when it came to makeup. Joni and Fran adjusted accordingly, all within the vision we had mapped out. The execution was flawless. We spent a long time together and through it all we laughed, we vibed, and our faces were STUNNING. Everyone was obsessed with their look!

What can I say. Joni is an absolute professional from minute I reached out to her to the day of my wedding. Joni was so approachable, organising zoom calls in advance to make me feel more at ease. I knew I was in good hands after that. The care and consideration taken into what I wanted was second to none. She created exactly what I wanted and more. I looked like myself but a more elavated version of me. I have to say it was my favourite makeup look ever. I’ve never had anyone do my makeup like Joni and now I only wish I had her with me everywhere. Don’t hesitate to book for the big day as you will not be disappointed. Joni did the best job for my wedding this past November in Jamaica! I can't recommend her enough. I was really nervous about getting professional makeup because I normally don't wear a lot, and Joni was really receptive of all of my concerns and what I liked and didn't like. She put so much care into asking the right questions so that I would end up with exactly what I wanted.
She was also just so personable, funny, and fun to be around and really calmed my nerves. All of my bridesmaids also looked AMAZING! And, it was obviously extremely hot and humid in Jamaica, and all of our makeup lasted the entire night. -

I Can’t Recommend Joni Enough!
I cannot recommend Joni enough. Vetting vendors for a destination wedding can be challenging, but from the moment I reached out to Joni about doing the makeup for my wedding, I knew she was the perfect fit. She was very responsive and kept in touch leading up to our first meeting for the makeup trial. During the trial, I felt heard and completely comfortable in her chair. On the wedding day, Joni and her team did an amazing job. Every member of my bridal party, as well as myself, looked phenomenal, and we all had a blast with them as we got ready. -

Joni and her team provided makeup and hair for my group of 12 for my wedding day at Half Moon Resort. Joni was so professional, patient and kind throughout the entire process, including doing two bridal makeup trials ahead of the big day, keeping me calm on day of when a rainstorm passed over our ceremony spot etc. She was very open to feedback and made sure to really capture what I was looking for (more minimal natural look) She handled 12-14 people in and out of her chair in an organized yet not rushed manner. She was such a calming presence on my wedding day and I am so appreciative! -

I hired Joni for my makeup for my destination wedding in Jamaica and it was the best decision!! Joni was recommended to me by multiple brides who had their weddings at the same hotel as me. First off, she is just the nicest person and made an anxious day super enjoyable. She had me laughing and chatting so much that I almost forgot I was about to get married. Most importantly, she made me feel beautiful! This was my first time using airbrush and I didn’t know what to expect, but she did such an amazing job. She used the photos I sent previously for inspiration and talked me through all the makeup decisions. My makeup came out beautiful and photographed so well. I had so many compliments and truly felt so confident because of her. She also did the makeup for my bridal party and they loved her so much as well! Hiring Joni will be the best choice you make! Wonderful experience!
I hired Joni in January of 2020 for my destination wedding in March 2021. Joni was such a delight to work with. Her pricing was more than reasonable! She is such beautiful person inside and out, and was so very helpful during this covid pandemic. At first, I had 5 girls plus myself getting hair and makeup done, but with all the chaos of covid and curfews in Jamaica, I had to cut it down to 2 girls and myself within a week of the wedding. Joni was very understanding and helpful. Getting ready with her and her hair stylist Alexis was pure joy. She is professional when she needs to be and totally down to earth and looking to have a good time while getting ready when it’s appropriate as well. I wouldn’t have changed anything with the experience I had with gourmet makeup. Joni makes you feel like family and puts in a lot of time and effort to make her brides look and feel absolutely beautiful. She’s very passionate about her work and it shows!! I’m not big on dramatic makeup and Joni contoured my face perfectly while still making it all appear natural. My makeup held up all day with the humid tropical heat and even in the rain later that evening 😝 -

Joni is a must have!
Joni was referred to me by Hilton Rose Hall to do my bridal makeup. Joni was quick to respond; accommodated my needs although I only reached out a couple weeks prior to my wedding and provided all necessary details/pricing upfront.
From the moment Joni walked in the hotel room she was amazing. Such a sweet women who cares and wants you to look your best. She was also amazing with my kids and made sure I was completely ready before she left. I would hire Joni over & over again! -

Have a great Hair and Makeup artist was top on my wedding list! Joni and her team exceeded my expectations and more! They were absolutely amazing! From the start they made us feel so relaxed and by the end we truly felt like we were all best friends. I was SO nervous about how my hair and make up would look because I did not do a trial like a typical bride would. Joni Nailed it! I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and so did all of my bridesmaids! I am always the person who doesn't like something about their makeup or hair after getting it done and I run into the bathroom to fix it. With this team... I didn't need to fix one thing. I got married on 12/12/2020 at the Rockhouse Hotel in Negril, Jamaica. Joni and her team were recommended to me by the hotel. Joni is very quick to respond. Probably the most responsive vendor I hired. She is warm and friendly and really knows how to amp you up on your wedding day! She kept me calm and kept everyone feeling safe, even during the pandemic. Her team wore their masks the entire time and were completely professional. Even though they were doing a job we all had so much fun together... we were laughing and all enjoying ourselves the whole time. I would HIGHLY recommend using Joni & Lexi for hair and makeup for your wedding if you are getting married in Jamaica. All our hair and makeup lasted the entire evening even in 85 degree heat and dancing. I cannot thank Joni and her team enough. I view her now as a friend and hope to meet up with them next time I am in Jamaica! -

Booking Joni and Lexi was the best decision I made! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Joni was easy to get in touch with, she was professional, and she absolutely slayed our makeup! I am a makeup lover myself, and Joni definitely knows what she’s doing. Our makeup lasted all day and night, even after sweating our butts off dancing LOL. The makeup also photographed really well!
Lexi is a hair queen! We loved our hair so much! We all have very different hair types and Lexi accommodated each of us! Plus, our hair lasted all night and through the super windy day we had!
My favorite thing about Joni and Lexi was how warm and motherly they were. They embraced me and my CRAZY bridesmaids haha. Overall, I one million percent recommend Gourmet Makeup! Book them, you won’t be disappointed! -

A Wonderful Experience
In my initial contact with Joni, she was quick to respond, which was reassuring, considering I decided last-minute (9 days before my wedding) to inquire about Joni's services.
Joni was very helpful and informative in helping me to choose a makeup package, as I have not had any experience in having my makeup professionally done before. She was patient and understanding in our correspondence with what kind of look I was trying to achieve.
Joni was also very clear and concise about the booking process and was very transparent about package costs throughout our communications.
Concerning the day of services, Joni was so down-to-earth and flexible with the schedule, as 2 of my bridesmaids were also having their makeup done. Through some of the day-of wedding stresses, Joni was an amazing calming presence, reassuring me that everything was going to be great. Joni did such an amazing job, with the finished product being a natural look, where she perfectly achieved my hope of looking like myself, but accentuated. In a heartbeat I would choose Gourmet Makeup by Joni again! -

I don’t know where to begin with explaining how amazing Joni and Lexi are! I found Gourmet Makeup by Joni through wedding wire when I was planning my destination wedding in Runaway bay from Texas. Once I saw the reviews and talked to Joni online I knew I had to book her! Not only is she super talented with makeup but she has the purest soul. I decided to book her to do my hair and makeup along with my mom for my wedding day and I also did a trail run! In my opinion you don’t even need a trial run because she’s that good! Joni listens to what you want and let’s you show her inspiration pictures of what you want done. If you don’t like something or want to slightly change anything she takes no offense to it and will happily do anything to make you feel beautiful! I wanted a glamorous natural makeup look for my wedding and she captured that image I had for myself perfectly! I was wearing a traditional Pakistani wedding dress, veil and jewelry, (my dress and veil were 30 lbs) Joni and Lexi made sure everything was in tacked and stayed on me for the whole entire night. My veil was super heavy but it never moved the entire day and night. My hair and makeup after hours of pictures, dancing etc was still flawless at the end of the night. Joni even does a face mask on you and it feels and smells amazing. I was so calm on my wedding day I wasn’t nervous at all because they make you feel so comfortable. If I could I would hire them for every event. They treat you with respect, love and kindness they truly care about you and your day! Don’t feel hesitant about choosing them! They are amazing you won’t regret hiring Joni and Lexi! They are the best in Jamaica!! Please don’t spend your money anywhere else!!! -

I knew Joni was going to be my make-up artist even before I knew I was going to get married!! She was the very first vendor I booked because it was so important for me to ensure she was doing my make-up for my special day! We’ve known each other personally for several years and she has always been the sweetest most down to earth person. When Joni first started doing professional make-up, my Mum, sister and I, had the honour of receiving a complimentary trial. Since then, we have watched Joni and her business blossom in every way. She is undoubtedly an expert in her field and the entire Gourmet experience is a testament to this. Even though we are friends, Joni was extremely professional. She was on time for all our appointments and she made the entire bridal party feel relaxed and pampered. From the rose petal mask to the gentle finishing mist - all her products and make-up are of the highest quality. She took the time to intricately attach 1 lash at a time to ensure the look came across as natural and effortless, in true Goddess-style! She carefully considered the make-up selection, knowing my tendency to cry excessively, particularly because of my Father’s illness. She was extremely sensitive to the situation, offering thoughtful words of encouragement and comfort. Joni arrived at the crack of dawn on my wedding day just so she could ensure that each lady had her full attention. She did my make-up, plus 2 bridesmaids, as well as my mother and mother-in-law. The wide range of ages, complexions and tastes was no problem for her. She masterfully handled each person’s needs and ensured the whole bridal party was looking stunning!! LOVE Joni and Lexi!!!
On the morning of my wedding day Joni and Lexi arrived on time, but ran into an issue with the resort's front desk. With all that going on Joni and Lexi said not to worry, there is still plenty of time. Through out the whole ordeal Joni and Lexi made sure I didn't stress and I couldn't be more grateful.
Now on to my look; I don't normally wear foundation so I was a bit nervous . I am so glad I chose Gourmet Makeup by Joni Powell because Joni listened and made sure I looked like myself, but soo much better. Lexi did an amazing job on my hair. It looked exactly like the photo I showed her. Also my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup. One of the best days of my life
Words won’t do justice to describe how incredibly awesome Joni and her team were. I have always admired her work and knew without a doubt I had to hire her when I got engaged...she was the first vendor I booked. Since then she checked in regularly and gave sound advice when needed. When arrived she checked in once more to make sure all was with. On the morning Joni and her team arrived I was feeling so overwhelmed as so many things were going wrong. Joni was like Mich everything will be ok. She came in with such a calming presence and helped me set up for my photographers and cinematographers. Then she began to work her magic...Within an hour Joni, Lexi and Dom had us laughing soo hard that I was able to truly relax and begin enjoying my day. Lexi was like “Put up your feet and Relax” or the Jamaican version “Cock up your feet...it’s your day.” And that I did...he face mask helped to really relax me and made my skin glow..(I swear she needs to market and sell this)...my skin never felt better. Throughout my day, she kept us on track and gave sisterly recommendations on what to tweak. When my girls and I were finished, I was blown away. Joni and her team are able to tap into your inner beauty and mirror it on the outside..,A little bit of Sass with a lot of attitude...We all looked amazing. Our makeup lasted all night and everyone commented on our looks...There is absolutely no way I could have gotten through this journey and my big day with Joni, Lexi and Dom....Cheers to the Gourmet Crew -

Highly Recommend
Joni and Lexi are amazing and do excellent work. Both ladies made my bridal party and I look flawless. Joni enhanced our looks with her artistry making us a better version of ourself. Lexi did a phenomenal job on our hair. I couldn’t have asked for a better team.
More importantly the makeup and hair lasted. It was a hot day and I was sweating buckets but when I got back to our hotel room that night the look was still going strong.
Joni and Lexi are such sweet individuals, they are beyond professional, personable and genuinely love what they do. I was thankful to have these ladies be apart of my big day.

Joni and Alexis did me, my sister, and my moms makeup and hair for my wedding 2 weeks ago at the Rockhouse. (Alexis did our hair and Joni did our makeup). Joni and Alexis also did my trial hair and makeup the evening prior. They were both so funny and sweet. We had a great day together getting ready for the wedding.
The makeup was natural and they listened to everything I had to say. I would recommend 100%. My hair and makeup have literally never looked better. -

Bridal hair & make up Dream Team!!
Joni and Alexis are the bridal make up and hair dream team!! They were so fun to get ready with and really have amazing taste. I trusted them completely and the end result for my wedding was flawless! I don't wear a lot of make up regularly so Joni was able to keep it simple but still make me feel like a beautiful bride. My make up looked good throughout my entire outdoor wedding, even the sweaty dancefloor pics at the end lol. I wanted flowers weaved into a messy updo and Alexis knew exactly what to do. Joni and her counterpart Danielle were everything I could have asked for on my special day. Even in the months leading up to the event, Joni was more than accommodating in meeting me for my trial run and also making changes up to the very last minute. She sent a very detailed itinerary for everyone's makeup on the day of - even down to when she was going to start my face mask! There were 9 people total who got their makeup done that morning. Everyone's makeup turned out absolutely stunning and held up the entire night (despite my best efforts to sweat off my face in the Jamaica heat). This was my first time getting my make-up professionally done. I was a little hesitant to have someone that I have never met before do my make-up but Joni did an excellent job. She is very professional. I rarely wear make-up, so I told Joni I wanted my wedding make-up to look as natural as possible and she did such a wonderful job.
The communication prior to the wedding day was perfect. Joni was very responsive to my emails and even asked me for examples of how I wanted the make-up to look like.
Joni is such a wonderful, kind and joyful person. On the day of the wedding, my bridesmaids and I had a wonderful time and she even calmed me down when I started to get nervous.
Everyone commented on my make-up and my two bridesmaids loved theirs as well. All three of us felt like queens!

Wow! Words alone cannot even begin to describe my gratitude and joy....and how blessed I feel to have had Joni and her team (Loni, Sophie and Lexi) on my special big day!!! Where do I even start? I first met Joni at my engagement photo shoot in Jamaica. Our wedding planner Jennifer Borgh had connected us. I had already selected the venue for my wedding a year out and thought it would be a good idea to do engagement photos in Jamaica and have my make-up professionally done by the Joni as we were considering hiring her company for hair/make-up for over 12+ people the big day. From the very first encounter of communication leading up to our first meeting, Joni was always very professional, pleasant and prompt. When I first met Joni at my engagement shoot, she was everything I hoped for. She was kind, patient, fun and listened to my thoughts and ideas. Honestly, I was all over the place and did not know what I exactly wanted. Joni asked great questions and guided the session along the way with her calm, soothing & fun demeanor. She made me feel and look SOOO beautiful for my engagement shoot. From that day, I was 1000% confident Joni and her team would be the perfect fit to be by our side on my wedding day and help myself, mothers, bridesmaids & guests to feel & look their absolute best! We had 12 months before the big day and throughout the time frame - I had a lot of questions, thoughts, comments. Joni was so timely in her responses and made everything seem so simple and easy. For those of you who have gone through a wedding or are planning a wedding especially a destination wedding, you can relate to the feeling of being overwhelmed by soooo much that is going on. Joni made me feel at ease that everything was going to be ok and she had me covered. Hair and make-up which is a very important category in planning, I felt at ease knowing that I had Joni in control of all that area! Fast forward to the week of the wedding.... WOW!!! I promise I cannot even begin to convey in words how AMAZING Joni and her team (Loni, Sophie and Lexi) were. To give you a quick background, our destination wedding was an Indian fusion wedding of 80+ people. We were working around A LOT of fast-moving pieces, from various vendors coming in and out of the bridal suite, events, outfit changes, draping sarees in between, tight time schedules, and early start time & lots of changes on top of that!! On the big day, we had a 4am start time (8 ladies from bridal party getting hair & makeup) plus several guests last minute wanted their hair and makeup done as well! Joni & her team arrived at our resort at 3am in order to set everything up, prepare all and ensure we started on time. I was on little to no sleep because of the nerves and excitement. When I arrived at the bridal suite around 6am, I was so happy to find my ladies getting all dolled up, they were so happy and glamorous, everything running sooo smoothly with hair and makeup and actually on and even ahead of schedule!! Joni and her team were so on point. They were able to not only manage all the changes that came up with finesse but ensure we were on time and even at one point ahead of schedule. Joni & her team moved with such positive energy, enthusiasm and were so dedicated and committed to making each and every lady feel & look her absolute best. It was so apparent how passionate Joni & are team are about their artistry and put so much love, care, and effort into everything they do. When it was my turn to get my make-up done, Joni and I chatted it up, her calm and soothing demeanor made me feel at ease. Her fun and positive vibes made me smile & laugh. Oh and my makeup so flawless and felt like I should be on a magazine cover!!! Love her! So there it was, in just a few hours, Joni & her team her completed make-up & hair for the bride, bridal party of 7 plus several guests. Everyone was so happy with their look, all smiles ear to ear. Joni & her team delivered top-notch, world-class customer service and with overall beauty looks that deserves to be featured in a magazine! After the ceremony was over, we had part 2 for the night time event and I needed a fresh face and new look for the reception party. At that point, I was sooo tired on 2 hours of sleep in my delirious mind at that point in time I thought me sleeping 1 hour made more sense than getting a second new look for my reception party (LOL). I had expressed this to Joni and she very professionally and politely reminded me this was a once in a lifetime event and I should continue with the plans and get my second new look. Of course, she was right! Joni truly cared. She knew how tired I was. She was also just as tired having started at 3am! Words cannot describe how thankful I am for Joni and Lexi. My makeup was absolutely perfect. I looked like myself just way better- done by Joni. I hired Lexi last minute because my hair trail at the resort salon went terribly. So I took a chance and met Lexi the day of my wedding (so scary). My hair came out perfect! It was exactly what I was looking for and she used the perfect amount of hairspray so it didn’t look crunchy. What Lexi was able to do the first time ever meeting me or seeing my hair, the (2) people in the resort salon could do ever. Joni is able to do makeup on all skin types and ages. My wedding party consisted 6 people of ages 27 to 85. My grandma looked ten years younger after sitting in Joni’s chair. I would highly recommend both of them. Working with Joni and Lexi was a great experience. Joni did my makeup, 2 of my bridesmaids and my grandmother. She made my bridesmaids look so beautiful with a golden natural look. When it came time to do my grandmas makeup she was so sweet with her and made sure she felt comfortable since it was her first time ever having her makeup done. I showed her a picture of a makeup look I liked and she made me look even more beautiful. She enhanced my features and made sure I still looked like myself & not over done. I sent Lexi a YouTube video of what I wanted done with my hair and she said she was excited to do it. I was nervous because I have a lot of thick natural hair but the final look she did was even better than what I imagined. They both made my feel like a princess! It was a great time chatting with them while we got ready and they followed me to when I put on my dress to ensure my hair and makeup was set right. I highly recommend them to anyone no matter skin type or hair type they know what they’re doing! -

In planning a destination wedding vendors become tricky because of course you can't always physically be around and you mostly rely on recommendations. I have to say, I'm so happy I chose to be a Gourmet Girl. They came highly recommended by a friend of mine, and Anna, my MUA, did not disappoint. I have never felt more beautiful. I loved the fact that before anything their team asks for inspirational pictures to get a feel of the look you're trying to achieve. The ladies are also so down to earth, it's like talking to a friend the way they make you feel so comfortable. Anna took care of the makeup for other members of my bridal party as well and I could just see the confidence in each lady when she was done, GORGEOUS. The care and time she took to make sure I was comfortable and looking flawless was so appreciated. And then there was the artist Sophia. She transformed my hair into simple elegance. I REALLY appreciated the fact that she made my mother feel at ease. My mom is not one for glitz and glamor and Sophia recommended a style that afterwards my mother couldn't stop smiling. I was hesitant at first in the recommendation but once I saw the whole picture I realized we were in the best hands. These ladies are artists and without hesitation I recommend them to anyone looking for makeup/hair services. -

Another bride recommended Joni to me after I was disappointed with my makeup done by the resort during my Big Day Preview. On the morning of my wedding I was having a complete hair nightmare from swimming in the ocean and chlorine. Both ladies calmed me down and ensured that everything would be OK.
Joni and Lexi made me and my ladies look and feel glamorous and beautiful. My mother in law loved her make up so much she did not wash her face the next day and we are taking a trip to Sephora so she can get all of the products Joni used.
Joni was super responsive to all of my emails. I sent her my hair and make up inspiration and both came out better than what I expected. I would highly recommend Gourmet Makeup as you will not be disappointed! -

I researched many local hair and makeup artists and really did my research but was still a little apprehensive because I knew that I wouldn't have time for a trial given the fact that I wasn't planning to visit Jamaica prior to my wedding. From the very beginning Joni was super friendly and flexible. She took the time to help me select the best package for me and also addressed all my questions promptly. Lexi created 5 wonderful hairstyles for my bridesmaids and myself. I was a bit discouraged prior because my stylist at home had done a trial for me to check out looks and I didn't really love anything (I had originally wanted a braid in my hair but because of my bangs she said it wouldn't work), but Lexi saw what i wanted and pulled it off with ease and made it gorgeous!) Joni had some serious skills with makeup that wouldn't melt off my face in the 95 degree heat and the 2 hour long rain storm. It looked just as perfect at the end of the night as it did at 1pm when she put it on. My mother had also had a fall the night before (scraping her face) and Joni was able to help her with make up to cover it. They both felt like friends by the end of our session and I was so thrilled. They really went above and beyond for me and my girls and I am so grateful! Thanks ladies!!!! -

I got married in Jamaica on June 9, 2018 and planned the entire wedding from a far, New York. I contacted Gourmet Makeup on November 14, 2017 after finding their work on Instagram. Joni replied the very next day with well wishes and a detailed email that included makeup packages and cost. From that very first email I knew they were the right fit. Every email after that, there were plenty, had the same positive energy, excitement for my big day and attention to detail. They answered every question and made package recommendations based on photos shared of my skin and wedding day look. Did I mention I never met the team in person until my wedding day??? Never did but Anna, who was my makeup artist the day of, gave me exactly what I wanted, a natural but glamorous look. Planning a destination wedding from New York and then California was tough… I was nervous about selecting the best vendors in Jamaica, but from the first time I met Joni and Lexi for my trial, I knew I made the best decision! They were so sweet, so kind and I felt like I was just hanging out with my girls. I had three different looks that weekend and each look was more beautiful than I had dreamed…
I did not have a bridal party, so before the first event I was a bit flustered trying to get ready. Joni and Lexi stayed with me until I was ready for pictures. They helped put my jewelry on, put on my heels, my lengha and even helped me pin everything up. I remember thinking, “These ladies are freaking amazing!! How did I get so lucky?” The next day they returned early and ready for day #2. I had one look in the morning and was so happy they stayed to experience our Hindu ceremony. Then I had a quick change into my Christian ceremony attire – both ladies helped me get dressed again (THANK YOU!). There wasn’t great lighting in the second villa space, but Joni and Lexi worked their magic and gave me an stunning final look for my wedding day. I cannot thank them enough for making me feel and look so beautiful over my wedding weekend. Also, my Mom LOVED both Joni and Lexi she looked so beautiful (both days)! I loved the “Mom-Hawk” that Lexi created!

We stayed at an all-inclusive resort that had a high fee to bring an outside vendor on, but Joni was very accommodating. She provided transportation to and from her studio for the morning of the wedding. She even made us food! She kept saying her goal was to make us feel comfortable, and she did!! Not to mention, she and Lexi made my entire bridal party look like Rock Stars! Joni provided me with a day-of timeline prior to the wedding, and they were so good with sticking to the timeline! Everything about my experience was wonderful. I could not have asked for a better morning/hair and makeup experience! It was honestly a dream come true to be in Joni's hands my wedding day.

I used Mrs. Joni for my pre-wedding party and my wedding. She was very professional and arrived early for both events. We joked and had fun the entire time she was with me. Her sense of humor and positive energy was a great escape from some of the wedding craziness. She took wonderful pictures with her phone that I am really grateful for, because I never had time to take any of my own. You can tell right away that she takes great joy in making you look your best on your special day. I only wish I could have kept her longer. Hire her, She will not disappoint!

It was evident that they have been doing this for a long time which greatly helped to keep everything running smoothly and on time the day of. I appreciated that they were both able to tell us what would and wouldn't work and why, while also coming up with better ideas and insight to share. We had all different skin types and colours and hair that is straight, wavy and with locks. Nothing was an obstacle and both Joni and Lexi were friendly, positive and professional throughout. All of our undos and makeup stayed on throughout the night even in the August heat. I would 110% recommend future brides to look no further, even our wedding coordinator used Gourmet Makeup for her wedding!
