From the moment Kristi and I spoke on the phone we both knew that Got Strings was a great match for my wedding. I come from a classical-music family and I wanted a way to incorporate that into my day. Despite some odd and different music requests from me she worked to help me come up with the perfect ceremony that would please both me, my guests, and my snobby music family! The day of the wedding the musicians were kind, professional, and fantastic! -

We hired Got Strings for our wedding to play throughout our ceremony. Kristi and her team were very proactive about putting together a customizable playlist for each part of the ceremony and they have a very extensive reportoire to choose from. We would definitelty choose them again since they were so easy to work with and very reliable! Thumbs up! -

Loved working with Got Strings for my wedding! We used them for the ceremony music and it was such a great decision. Kristi was very easy to work with leading up to the wedding and helped me with music selection. The musicians were all very talented and our guests loved the music! I thought the price was very reasonable and it was definitely worth it to have that live music performance aspect for the ceremony. -

Best vendor I encountered hands down
Kristi was such a wonderful person to work with. Super helpful and patient with me when it came to picking out songs. Mike made our day so special by being able to have one of our most memorable songs as the song I walked down the aisle to. Our musicians were incredible, I loved every second of it. I wish I’d had the chance to thank them In person and let them know they were my favorite part of the day. I felt like a princess and it was thanks to them. Seriously I loved it so much. -

Kristi was so great to work with. She stayed in contact leading up to the wedding. The string quartet performed prelude music, the ceremony and cocktail hour and they were so amazing. I absolutely loved their music! -

We chose about 7 songs for a prelude, one for a processional, and one for the recessional. The musicians were on time and played so well that multiple people asked for their contact information... Thank you for making a special day for everyone, Got Strings! -

Got Strings is amazing! We used them for our wedding ceremony music & received so many compliments. The string quartet arrived on-time, played a variety of songs while guests were being seated, and made my vision come true with the music that was played during the ceremony without any hesitation. I would for sure recommend Got Strings to any couple who is looking for live music during there ceremony and/or cocktail hour. Kristie and her team are amazing and you will be well taken care of! As a music teacher, I truly appreciate all the work that musicians do for events like weddings, and Got Strings is no exception: they went above and beyond for our wedding! Working with Kristi has been a dream - so accommodating and friendly! We bonded over the fact that we were not only music educators, but also JMU alumni (GO DUKES!). She is extremely personable, and will take care of every detail of your special music for the day. They have an arranger on staff, who can arrange and compose any song that you can think of for your special day. The string trio performed with such artistry and expression - people are still talking about them! They even performed for our first dance, which was an amazing moment that I will never forget!! Thank you Got Strings for making our day so wonderful! -

It's hard to believe a company like Got Strings exists! As a JMU employee, I was excited to hire Kristi and her team to be part of my big day. Something about a string duo elevates the romance of a ceremony, and they were a steal in comparison to other string musicians. Kristi, the owner, was incredible. She knows the exact questions to ask to put together the perfect ceremony for people like me, that have no idea where to start. She even had her team compose a song I requested. On the day of the wedding, the musicians arrived exactly when expected, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house as I walked down the aisle. Each of our guests could feel the love in the air. I only wish I had gotten to hear them more, but as the bride, I suppose the music stops with you ;) -

Got Strings took my wedding to a new level, having a string ensemble play for us to walk down the aisle was magical. Not to mention working with Kristi was so much fun and made this an absolute breeze, she took all the hard work out of it which made me so happy since planning a wedding can be hectic. We had three amazing musicians that were professional, super sweet and extremely talented! Having Got Strings at your wedding or any event will be the smartest decision you make!! -

Got Strings was great to have for our big day. Kristi was great to work with over the phone, but also very prompt to email/text response. We had 3 songs customized for our ceremony and they were beautifully done.
We did pick 1 song off of their repertoire list and provided our song choices in advance to the Got Strings coordinator based on the timeline of our ceremony. Just prior to the ceremony, the musicians informed our wedding director that they didn’t know that specific song choice. Instead, they played a longer version of our parents walk/bridesmaid entrance to make it work. Overall, it was a very nice and elegant experience! We are appreciative. -
