  Happy With Got Strings

  Got Strings was awesome to work with! We are so happy that we had a string quartet for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour as it definitely elevated our event. They were very organized and present during our event planning process, which we loved! We were also happy that Kristi was able to help us choose the ceremony repertoire, and she had awesome suggestions, making our decisions easy. We are happy that we included Got strings for our special day!

  Amazing and professional

  We hired a string trio from Got Strings for our ceremony and cocktail hour and were so happy with the results! Kristi was such a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, and all of our questions and concerns were met with a quick and friendly response. The musicians played so well and fit perfectly into our wedding day - we loved getting to support college musicians with such talent. We highly recommend Got Strings and are so happy with their results!

  Wonderful!

  Gotstrings was one of the biggest highlights of our wedding! The music was truly beautiful, and I really enjoyed working with Kristi in the months beforehand - I had a few songs I had my heart set on but aside from that was open to anything Kristi recommended, and she did FANTASTIC! They were super easy to work with, professional, and I'd recommend them to everyone!

  Our wedding planner found Southern Strings and I'm so glad she did! Southern Strings was so communicative during the whole process whenever we had questions or wanted their suggestions. They had a HUGE list of songs to choose from. They were on-time and played beautifully. I would recommend them again and again. We were SO pleased and it made our wedding so special having them play for the ceremony.

  Super Easy to work with!

  From the moment Kristi and I spoke on the phone we both knew that Got Strings was a great match for my wedding. I come from a classical-music family and I wanted a way to incorporate that into my day. Despite some odd and different music requests from me she worked to help me come up with the perfect ceremony that would please both me, my guests, and my snobby music family! The day of the wedding the musicians were kind, professional, and fantastic!

  High Quality string music and easy to work with

  We hired Got Strings for our wedding to play throughout our ceremony. Kristi and her team were very proactive about putting together a customizable playlist for each part of the ceremony and they have a very extensive reportoire to choose from. We would definitelty choose them again since they were so easy to work with and very reliable! Thumbs up!

  We had an awesome experience working with Kristi and her team. We felt very clueless when the process started and Kristi was incredibly helpful! She was really patient and kind and answered all of our questions thoughtfully. The string group was really flexible and played beautifully the day of! We did a custom arrangement of a song that was special to us and Got Strings did an amazing job! We could not have been happier.

Kristi was very easy to work with leading up to the wedding and helped me with music selection. The musicians were all very talented and our guests loved the music! I thought the price was very reasonable and it was definitely worth it to have that live music performance aspect for the ceremony.

  Kristi was such a wonderful person to work with. Super helpful and patient with me when it came to picking out songs. Mike made our day so special by being able to have one of our most memorable songs as the song I walked down the aisle to. Our musicians were incredible, I loved every second of it. I wish I’d had the chance to thank them In person and let them know they were my favorite part of the day. I felt like a princess and it was thanks to them. Seriously I loved it so much.

  I cannot say enough good things about Got Strings! Kristi is such a pleasure to work with, and the string trio selected to work our wedding really hit the ball out of the park. As someone who really cared about the music selections, I really appreciated the time Kristi took to work with me and make sure everything flowed properly!   #1 priority on my list

  I have always wanted to walk down the aisle to live classical music played by a string quartet and Got Strings made this dream a reality. Kristi did a wonderful job communicating with me from start to finish. She made excellent music suggestions and assisted us when choosing which ensemble would be best for our outside wedding ceremony. We ended up going with the string quartet and the sound was perfectly heard even in the open outdoors. Overall I was extremely pleased with the music and sound and was able to have my dream come true to have a string quartet play at our wedding.

We were married this past June, and despite everything with the world, our musicians showed up with an incredible attitude and made our dreams come true! From the first inquiry with Kristi, I knew she was the one for the job and trusted her with everything. She was so attentive, knew exactly how to help us, and guided us in the perfect direction. Our musicians got so many compliments on the day of from our guests, and I know that my husband and I were so happy we booked Got Strings!

  As a music teacher, I truly appreciate all the work that musicians do for events like weddings, and Got Strings is no exception: they went above and beyond for our wedding! Working with Kristi has been a dream - so accommodating and friendly! We bonded over the fact that we were not only music educators, but also JMU alumni (GO DUKES!). She is extremely personable, and will take care of every detail of your special music for the day. They have an arranger on staff, who can arrange and compose any song that you can think of for your special day. The string trio performed with such artistry and expression - people are still talking about them! They even performed for our first dance, which was an amazing moment that I will never forget!! Thank you Got Strings for making our day so wonderful!

  Well priced doesn't sacrifice quality. These musicians are top-tier talent!

  It's hard to believe a company like Got Strings exists! As a JMU employee, I was excited to hire Kristi and her team to be part of my big day. Something about a string duo elevates the romance of a ceremony, and they were a steal in comparison to other string musicians. Kristi, the owner, was incredible. She knows the exact questions to ask to put together the perfect ceremony for people like me, that have no idea where to start. She even had her team compose a song I requested. On the day of the wedding, the musicians arrived exactly when expected, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house as I walked down the aisle. Each of our guests could feel the love in the air. I only wish I had gotten to hear them more, but as the bride, I suppose the music stops with you ;)

  It's hard to believe a company like Got Strings exists! As a JMU employee, I was excited to hire Kristi and her team to be part of my big day. Something about a string duo elevates the romance of a ceremony, and they were a steal in comparison to other string musicians. Kristi, the owner, was incredible. She knows the exact questions to ask to put together the perfect ceremony for people like me, that have no idea where to start. She even had her team compose a song I requested. On the day of the wedding, the musicians arrived exactly when expected, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house as I walked down the aisle. Each of our guests could feel the love in the air. I only wish I had gotten to hear them more, but as the bride, I suppose the music stops with you ;)

  Amazing group to work with.

  Me and my husband used Got Strings for our wedding ceremony, and they were absolutely incredible!! They had a wide variety of song choices to select from and were such a pleasure to work with. The quartet played various songs while guests were arriving, as well as certain songs while the grandparents/parents and bridal party were entering and exiting the ceremony. We received several compliments from guests who were very impressed by the live music Got Strings provided. If you’re thinking about having string instruments at your wedding, we would definitely recommend going with Got Strings - they will not disappoint!
