  Hood River 2023

  I had the best service working with Sally Houlden! She helped with with my vision for a simple yet beautiful wedding ceremony. My family came from California/PDX and she made everything easy and flexible for them and myself down to the coordination of the ceremony, the vows, the rehearsal and the ceremony. 10/10 would recommend and for anyone wondering if it is worth it, it absolutely was! On top of that it was snowing and the ceremony still went on like it was a part of it. A true winter wonderland of a ceremony! & I even got to include my dog in it! 🤍

  Wonderful Experience!

  Sally was very sweet and wonderful to work with. Our ceremony was heartfelt and genuine and she made us feel comfortable through all the wedding nerves. We highly recommend her officiant services!

  Perfect Person for our Ceremony

  Sally was amazing and a perfect person for our ceremony. She was professional and made sure our day went smoothly. The story she made of our relationship was so heartfelt and sweet. I’m so happy that we hired her and would hire her again in a heartbeat

  Mr. And Mrs. Lemon

  While our event was extremely small in attendance and very brief in the time together, it feels, now that it is over, that Sally created a special insignia that bonded all of us together for eternity, and Sally is a unique addition to our lives and our new family. We would recommend her to anyone who wants to have a beautiful beginning to a special occasion.

  Wonderful experience

  Sally officiated my wedding in July, she was very punctual and easy to talk to and answered all my questions before hand and made it so I didn’t have to worry about a thing on my big day! There’s not a thing I would change everything was perfect. I will always recommend Sally to anyone who is getting married. What a wonderful experience.

  The ceremony was very personalized and moving. We added a hand fasting and she was great with that as well.

  Sweet, funny, and professional

  First of all, Sally is so much fun and sweet. We knew we wanted to have our ceremony to be us and who we were as a couple but didn't know where to begin. Sally gave us both a questionnaire to fill out and a few different options for our ceremony and was able to personalize it to us. I loved it and it was absolutely beautiful. We got a little rain, but Sally was a trooper and made our day so special. She is amazing and will always recommend her.

  Unimpressive in many ways

  We didn't know what the officiant would say about us, but we were naïve enough to think that it would be ok and we were already occupied with the wedding duties. We were wrong.
  We were asked to fill out a questionnaire that had questions about the proposal and the first date, turns out the answers to those questions are used to generate this officiant's speech. The whole speech was about our first date and our proposal, an incomplete and irrelevant definition of our relationship. Somehow the officiant felt entitled to make this decision for us. " C talked about astrology and D ignored her", "D asked this and C found it creepy", it was simply cringing.
  Also I don't judge people with their ability to pronounce my name but if they are already given the phonetical reading and they are still failing to pronounce it, and pronouncing it differently five times, I find it ridiculous. I wonder how many times this speech was even read by the writer.
  Overall it was a very poor experience and this officiant's performance will be cut from the video editing of the wedding.
