We had an incredible day, made all possible by Gorge Crest Vineyards and Jena! From start to finish, Jena was right by our side. She is knowledgeable, organized, and professional. Gorge Crest has a list of professional vendors that are all wonderful, easy to work with, and familiar with the venue layout! The day went by perfectly and seamlessly. Our guests could not get over the view and the venue, and many said it was the best wedding they had EVER been to! It was a huge compliment, but I have to say it was all Gorge Crest!
If you're looking for an indoor/outdoor venue with stunning views and incredible staff, this is IT!!! It seriously does not get better than Gorge Crest Vineyards in the Pacific Northwest.

Jena is great! Love her! Everything about the venue is wonderful. Minor details some may want to consider: cannot pick you own band and the music decibels rules. Even so, I loved our wedding and I have no regrets!!!

Gorge crest is magical
Gorge Crest is THE BEST place to elope and have a full wedding party! After COVID-19 through a wrench in our original wedding plans, we decided to elope in the Pacific Northwest. We looked at multiple options (including a few in the Hood River / Mt Hood area) and decided on Gorge Crest for the following reasons: 1) First, the views are magical. 2) You can stay on the property. The red barn you see in the photos has an apartment above, where we stayed for multiple nights, waking up each morning to a sunkissed Mt. Hood. If you don't stay there, this space is perfectly positioned as a getting ready area for the bridal party. We used it for both. 3) The property is versatile. And it's got a great vibe. We had dinner for two after our ceremony. 4) When you see Gorge Crest you can envision the party that it can create. It has a string-lit dance floor, hammocks, lights, smaller spaces for people to break off, wild flowers, fields, vineyards, and a flat grassy space. While it was just me and my husband for our elopement, I have no doubt that it would be a special place to bring friends and family together to celebrate. My husband and I had an extraordinary experience and are so grateful that we chose Gorge Crest.

Our Anniversary at Gorge Crest
My wife and I were so thankful to get to visit our wedding venue on our anniversary this year! With very limited options for our 1 year anniversary due to covid this visit was a Godsend. It was so great to relive our wedding day at our venue 1 year later. Gorge Crest will always remain the cornerstone of our wedding day.

Amazing Owners and Views!
The minute we parked and walked out on to the lawn, we were absolutely sold on having our wedding at Gorge Crest Vineyards. We were blown away by the amazing view. One of our requirements was to have Mt. Hood in the background of our ceremony. Jena then showed us around the property and we could not stop smiling as we imagined our guests’ reactions to where we were having our special day.
Obviously getting married in the summer of 2020 wasn’t easy for anyone. Due to COVID restrictions, we were having second thoughts about our original venue about 1 month before our wedding. We reached out to Gorge Crest, Jena was incredibly responsive and responded to our inquiry right away. We were able to schedule our tour practically the next day. I had booked our day of coordinator, photographer, DJ, and venue 11 months in advance. Even though they have a preferred vendor list, Jena worked with us so we could keep all of our original vendors we had already booked. Jena worked with our coordinator to ensure she understood the layout of the property and all of the things she needed to be aware of. We did have to rebook a photographer and caterer. We went through their preferred vendor list and they were all amazing to work with.
We reserved the venue and then four days later, the Washington Governor said no more wedding receptions after a three week grace period. Jena worked with local government to understand the restrictions that were being put in place and things we could do that would still meet the guidelines. Unfortunately, the definition of wedding receptions are defined as anything with food, drink, and/or dancing adjacent to a wedding ceremony. Our wedding date was the weekend right after the three week grace period. During the uncertain times, Jena worked with us to find a solution.
We had a great experience working with Gorge Crest Vineyards. Everyone we talked to about the venue all had amazing things to say about working with Jena. They are very respected in the community. Lastly, they have the cutest stationary. Jena is so thoughtful by sending thank you's and looking forward to the big day post cards. If you’re looking into figuring out all your wedding plans, don’t wait to go see this venue because their dates definitely book up fast! If you think the pictures are amazing, just wait until you see it in person!

Best Wedding Venue in the Gorge!
We got married at Gorge Crest in July 2015 and were so fortunate to be able to return for a 5-year anniversary celebration. Jena was SO kind and flexible to let us visit and have a picnic. This is one of the best days we've had in 2020 :) We had so much fun walking down memory lane, and being able show our daughter where we got married was so special and fun. We even attempted to recreate our wedding kiss photo :)
There is something truly unique about Gorge Crest. It’s such a calm and peaceful environment, the views are magical, and everything about this venue is just breathtaking. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience - our wedding was more than we could have ever dreamed of. Everyone at Gorge Crest was incredible to work with and everything about our day was beyond perfect. Several of our guests to this day still comment how this was the best wedding they have ever been to (even over their own weddings!). We would pick Gorge Crest OVER and OVER and OVER again. We would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in the Gorge!
We have so many beautiful memories here and will cherish this location forever. We hope to return again soon!

Best View in Oregon for a Wedding!
My wife and I recently made a trip back to Gorge Crest where we were married 5 years prior to have a picnic with our two children and to show them where we were married. Such a great and special place with breathtaking views and well kept grounds that truly inspire people to relax, have fun and take in nature. Jena, the owner, was very gracious to let our family return to the space for a picnic and even came down to wish us a happy anniversary. The venue has am amazing view of Mt. Hood, very cool modern barn-like reception room, a secret wooded area with hammocks, a horseshoe pit and every inch of the space is a photo op. I'd highly recommend the space and even if you go another route for your wedding (or any event really), it's definitely worth making the short drive from Hood River and checking it out.

Breathtaking Venue
Maybe one of the most breathtaking views in the area. The perfect setting for a wedding. My wife and I had our ceremony and reception at Gorge Crest and it was everything we could have dreamed. We got married against the perfect backdrop of Mt. Hood, in front of 120 friends and family on a perfect day in July. The Venue has perfect options for indoor and outdoor ceremonies and working with them to ensure we had our dream wedding was easy. My wife and I must have visited 6 different venues in Oregon and Washington and researched over 50 online but the moment we set foot on the Gorge Crest property we knew we had found our place. The bride and groom each get their own spacious apartment on site to get ready and there are plenty of spaces to capture the perfect wedding photos. Even if you go another route, I still highly recommend making the trip to Underwood to see the views for yourself. Friendly staff, awesome facilities. Would highly recommend!

Picturesque beautiful venue

Amazing venue - highly recommend
My fiance and I looked at just about every venue in the Columbia Gorge area, but when we finally toured Gorge Crest Vineyards it clicked. The view and the grounds are breathtaking. We were very excited to have our wedding there in early June 2020. Then the COVID19 pandemic happened. Planning a wedding once is stressful. Having to basically plan a second wedding in the middle of a global pandemic while we are both working as resident physicians was a daunting task.
The amount of support we have received from Jena, the owner of Gorge Crest Vineyard, has been incredible. Jena reached out to us very early in response to the pandemic regarding options for postponement. At that time we weren't ready to let go of our vision and wanted to wait and see. As we got closer to June it became apparent that we would not be able to proceed with our original date. Jena has been incredibly understanding and responded very quickly to our many e-mails regarding our postponement options and finding the best plan for us. We are very thankful to have had such a great team to work with to make things a little easier for us during this difficult time.
I would definitely recommend this venue to any couple looking to get married in the Gorge!

Expect the best at Gorge Crest!
Gorge Crest Vineyards was the perfect place to get married. My husband and I looked at over 12 venues near the Hood River area because we knew we wanted to get married in the Columbia Gorge. Nothing competes with the views and amenities that Gorge Crest has to offer. I also really appreciated that Jena & her husband offered discounted pricing for May during “off season”. The venue is romantic with his and hers separate suites above the reception barn, a huge fireplace, a winding wooded path leading to a breathtaking wisteria trellis down by the horseshoe pits, and of course Mt. Hood front and center for the ceremony. Jena is very easy to work with, answers emails in a timely fashion and allowed us to bring our own arbor for the ceremony. Some other perks include ample parking (but a shuttle bus is the way to go!), a nice kitchen for catering staff, two lovely indoor bathrooms and an outside bar with covered patio. Perfect Columbia Gorge wedding venue
Our experiences with Gorge Crest Vineyards were great from our very first venue tour through the wedding day. The venue was actually recommended by our photographer as one of her top picks to photograph weddings in the Gorge. They do make you choose from preferred vendors for catering, music, and coordination, but it was actually really helpful to narrow down our choices, and we had nothing but positive experiences with all the preferred vendors. We chose hair/makeup, cake, and flower vendors from the preferred vendor list as well. Jena was very professional with all correspondence and checked in on the day of to make sure we had everything we needed. The grounds are stunning, and the bridal suite was incredibly well-appointed. My fiancé felt a little strange getting ready in an apartment rented by an employee (groom’s suite), but I think that was our only complaint. Our original plan was to have the wedding ceremony outside, dinner in the barn, and dancing/lawn games outside after. The weather decided otherwise, and we ended up moving the dancing to under the veranda, which ended up being amazing. One of the reasons we chose this venue was because the weather can be so unpredictable, and we wanted indoor and outdoor options that didn’t feel like a compromise. We danced the night away with a fantastic lightning storm in the background that provided quite a show for our guests. Jena ended up emailing us a link to her friend’s photography website afterward, as he had taken spectacular photos of the lightning on the night of. Not many vendors are that thoughtful! All of our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was. We couldn’t have agreed more, and we felt like we didn’t need to spend an excessive amount of money on flowers or decorations because of the natural beauty of the venue. 100% would recommend to anyone looking to get married in the Columbia Gorge.

The PERFECT venue. So stunning!!
Gorge Crest Vineyards exceeded all of our expectations!! During our search for a venue, Zach's only request was a view of Mt. Hood and, since we were eloping, I wanted beautiful photos to share with our family & friends. After speaking with Jena, we felt comfortable booking sight-unseen. Gorge Crest was more than we hoped for! WOW!! The views are truly breathtaking. We loved everything from the intimate hammock area to the stunning vineyards. Jena was wonderful to work with and very prompt to respond. She made long-distance planning from Florida so simple. She even officiated the ceremony for us and did an amazing job. Everything was perfect!

We saw many venues in the Gorge, but this was hands down the most beautiful. If the unbeatable views weren’t enough, it also has fantastic amenities such as a bridal suite that overlooks the venue, romantic forest paths, hammocks, thousands of wildflowers, and REAL bathrooms (seriously, who wants to use an outhouse in a fancy dress?). Jena was fantastic throughout the process, always very helpful and responsive. Fair warning, it goes fast - I booked over a year in advance and only Sundays were available. I can’t imagine getting married at a better venue!

A wedding venue unlike any other!
We couldn’t have been more pleased with Gorge Crest for our wedding day! It surpassed even our wildest expectations and we had many wedding attendees tell us that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever experienced! We looked at many venues in the Gorge and decided on Gorge Crest for its stunning views, the ambiance of the setting itself, its wonderful amenities, and top-notch team of vendors. We had wonderful sunshine for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Dinner was held indoors given the uncertain weather forecast, making for an intimate dinner together with all our family and friends. During dinner, the clouds parted for the most magical view of Mt Hood imaginable, and our guests all left their dinner tables to enjoy the view. Having the indoor backup space is essential in the Gorge- it poured rain for 15 minutes then went away for a wonderfully warm and beautiful evening of outdoor dancing. Everything went flawlessly on our special day, and we would highly recommend Gorge Crest for a beautiful and memorable wedding day!

This is the place!!
My husband and I stumbled across Gorge Crest while looking for a venue in the Gorge. I immediately thought based on the pictures that it would be WAY out of price range, but was very pleasantly surprised they offered an elopement package, which suited our needs perfectly. We booked our date sight unseen, because we were sold based on the pictures alone. Over the months proceeding our wedding I communicated with Jena numerous times. She was always quick to reply and a pleasure to work with. When we finally met her in person, she felt like an old friend. The pictures do not do this venue justice. You need to see it in person! The backdrop of Mt. Hood is beyond beautiful!!! The bridal suite was also perfect for the girls to get ready in. If you are looking for a location to house your wedding, whether big or small... this is the place!!

Awesome Experience
We were searching for a wedding venue that would encapsulate both the beauty, fun and adventure of being outdoors in the Gorge. Gorge Crest Vineyard captured this spirit PERFECTLY. In addition, the facility was awesome both for pre-wedding preparation as well as the wedding and dance party! We lucked out and had great weather at the end of June, with great views of Mount Hood poking through a few clouds. We were very appreciative of the kindness and professionalism of the owners as well, who were highly responsive to a few specific requests of ours. We hope to be back and visit soon!

This venue is absolutely stunning and there are so many different areas on the property, it’s amazing for weddings! The ceremony site overlooking Mt. Hood was so beautiful and I LOVED having the dancing outside. We shared our wedding day at the breathtaking Gorge Crest venue for our destination wedding in Oregon. the grounds were absolute perfection with spectacular views, hammocks, lawn games, and a picturesque finished indoor barn for cocktails or reception. The bridal suite was a delight to get ready in with all the amenities you could want at your disposal. It even had a play structure onsite that entertained the kids in attendance all night! It is in close proximity to Hood River, so I was able to shuttle my guests easily to and from their accommodations. It is difficult to find a bad view of Mt Hood in the Gorge, but it is difficult to beat the view at Gorge Crest!

The second we pulled up to the Gorge Crest Vineyard, we knew it was where we would have our wedding. This venue literally takes my breath away. The views are stunning, the grounds are impeccable, and the indoor reception area is elegantly rustic. We had the most amazing wedding and our guests could not stop talking about how it was the most beautiful venue they had ever been to. The views truly cannot be beat. Some of our favorite features of this venue include the outdoor dance floor, so you can enjoy the views while dancing, the twinkle lights with hammocks hidden in the forrest surrounding the venue, and the bridal suite upstairs which is beautifully decorated and well- equipped with wedding day emergency kits =p
We truly loved everything about this venue and would recommend it to anyone looking to get married in the gorge. We would choose it 100 times over :)

We absolutely were blown away by Gorge Crest Vineyards. I did a lot of research online at almost every venue in Oregon / Washington, and we immediately fell in love with the entire grounds. We didn't need to see any more venues after this, we knew this is where we'd get married - no question. It was even cloudy and still beautiful when we saw it for the first time. Our friends and family couldn't believe how beautiful it was. There's no doubt we picked the best place, so many guests said how it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Wow, a day we'll remember forever, especially thanks to Gorge Crest Vineyards.

We are so happy we chose Gorge Crest Vineyards as our ceremony and reception venue. Despite the cloudy (and at times rainy) weather, it was still absolutely stunning. Almost all our guests commented on how beautiful it was. Jena and her husband, Fritz, along with Ronda, were great to work with, especially when we requested an earlier start time than normal so we could fit in a ceremony rehearsal day-of. Thank you to Gorge Crest Vineyards for making our wedding as wonderful as we could have hoped for!

Gorge Crest Vineyards is honestly something out of a dream. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful our wedding was a month later and describing our wedding as a true fairy-tale. The grounds are kept in immaculate shape, the wild flowers are stunning and it really is the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding with an indoor option as well. Our photographers and videographer were both extremely excited to shoot at such a beautiful spot! Ronda (venue owner) also has a fantastic list of local vendors to work with as well. Her guidance for our day of Coordinator, florist and DJ were amazing. Everything went seamlessly. If you want to have the most breathtaking wedding views nestled in the mountains, this is the venue for you. Words could never describe how much we loved this venue! Absolutely schedule a tour, you will fall in love immediately.

Gorge Crest was perfect for us. Coming from Kansas City and loving the area, we wanted a venue that showcased the amazing Columbia Gorge views without all the frills. This place was perfect for that. Besides the stipulations on using preferred vendors (which is not really a mandatory thing - remember it's your wedding, not theirs!), Ronda was friendly and super accommodating. Even though it was overcast and cloudy on the day of our wedding, all our guests raved about the venue and views. Top notch. Plus, if you're debating what "preferred" coordinator to go with, hands-down Heather Sullivan with Love Notes is your gal. I literally owe her my sanity.

Couples hoping to have an outdoor wedding often have trouble finding the perfect venue, a place that’s elegant yet comfortable, just the right size, and affords views showcasing the incredible landscape the Pacific Northwest is known for. I’m very happy to say that Gorge Crest is that venue. From our first visit, it was easy to imagine our closest friends and family mingling on the patio, enjoying a comfortable dinner in the dining hall, and dancing outside under the moonlight. Our wedding was on October 1st, and the weather was still picture perfect, made all the better with the surrounding foliage just starting to change color. I simply can’t say enough about how much the environment relaxes you and puts you in a frame of mind to reflect on why you’re there, and embrace the love on display all around you. People keep telling us our wedding was the most beautiful and heartfelt that they’ve been to, I’m not sure this would have been as clearly evident if we had chosen any other venue

I would like to emphatically state that if any bride is looking for the PERFECT OUTDOOR venue in the USA they should come and check out Gorge Crest Vineyards
We have done 4 weddings in 5 years for our 4 daughters. The winery and grounds were by far the most beautiful location of all of these! And without hesitation , I say that it has been the most organized and completely dedicated wedding location I have experienced due to the commendable over site of its owner, Ronda Bresin. She has thought of every wedding detail. Her extensive list of local tested vendors was invaluable.
There is a back up plan in case of bad weather. You simply move the ceremony location from the outside grounds to inside the winery building. Plenty of room in the string light and chandelier lit building for the venue provided tables and chairs. In the bride's quarters there were makeup chairs, mirrors, and even a beauty salon chair for the bride to have her hair and makeup done in!
Gorge Crest Vineyards was for the majestic beauty that totally surrounds you outside. God's hand has touched this land in the Pacific Northwest with unmatched beauty. The plush green lawn surrounded by tall evergreens and bordered with a 6 foot wide in full bloom wildflower border was enhanced by the perfect backdrop of a snow capped Mt Hood in the background.
The bride and groom felt the magic of Gorge Crest Vineyards the minute they stepped onto grass from the forest path when they came from Seattle to check out this venue. My daughter and her fiancée wanted to book it at once! We are thankful to Ronda Bresin for her wedding vision for this vineyard. She was extremely dedicated in ensuring that our wedding day went as planned. She answered questions in a timely manor. Her organization of guidelines, rules, and vendor list made this an easy venue to utilize from Tennessee! We are also grateful that she shares this little slice of beauty in the Pacific Northwest with everyone!. …..truly" Heaven on Earth!

Gorge Crest has to be the most amazing wedding venue on the planet! Beautiful grounds. Perfect wedding. The entire venue is set up for the event. Upstairs, the party prepared with the hair dresser having a dedicated room, kitchen for snacks even a few rooms for tired mom and dad to snooze for a bit. The dining room down stairs was ample for the set up with tables, flowers and candles with pictures of the departed grandparents on the mantle. There is an area for bar set up, a dance floor. An area for kids and the baby sitter. Everything you could think of and want. Everyone in attendance were floored by the view and ambiance... full Mt Hood view as a backdrop to the couple taking vows. Wow. I'm not an effusive person, but it was perfect!! Such a relief after all the planning and expense to have it turn out so well. Not just well, but spectacular.

It ended up raining on our wedding day but it was not a big problem at all since we were able to move the dancing into the barn. So not only do you have a beautiful outdoor option but an equally beautiful location for rainy day back ups. They also had a great list of vendors for our wedding needs who all provided amazing services on our special day. Rhonda and John are really easy people to work with and always got back to us with our questions. Gorge Crest is worth the investment for your special day!

Coming from a videographer/photographer profession I know how important aesthetics are to add the the ambiance of our special day. Gorgecrest delivered exactly what we were searching for. Beautiful rolling hills, immaculate lawn and garden, and the option to move inside if needed. The recommended vendors from gorgecrest were all fantastic and our wedding planner heather went above and beyond what I expected. I'll be honest as a typical guy I did the whole "what the heck do we need to pay a wedding planner for" thing. Boy am I glad we did. The vendors all worked together to eliminate all the stresses on you and make sure that everything runs smooth. Our wedding, though it wasn't the ideal weather. Was still gorgeous and so much fun. I am still getting comments from friends and family saying that it was the best wedding they had been to in a really long time. So for anyone considering this venue for a wedding or any event really, just go visit the place and experience it first hand. When my wife and I walked down the steps on a sunny day with mt hood in the back drop, it was hard to say no. We were extremely happy with our big day and I honestly cannot think of a better location than gorgecrest!

Words can't describe the feeling you get when you see the venue and view in person. All the beautiful photos on their website don't even do it justice in real life. Every single one of my guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been too. The venue is so beautiful you only need a few decorations, which is nice for your budget and stress before the wedding. Ronda was great to work with and always responded very quickly to any of my questions. She has it all organized and set up so the day of you don't have to worry about a thing. My husband and I got engaged in July of 2014 and immediately started looking for wedding venues. I must have reviewed and researched at least 25 venues in the Portland or Columbia Gorge area. I felt like I had seen it all before and there was nothing special about any of them. I was feeling very discouraged and started researching destination locations. Then I found Gorge Crest Vineyards. Growing up in Hood River, Oregon I am spoiled rotten by beautiful views so it takes a lot to impress me. When my husband I went up to Gorge Crest Vineyards, we were so impressed by its perfection and natural beauty. The maintenance of the entire venue is flawless, you will not find this at any of venue especially in the Columbia Gorge. If you look at the pictures on their website, it is exactly what they deliver when you arrive – beautiful! We booked the venue maybe an hour after leaving and there were only a few dates left for the following summer. This is a highly coveted gem in the Gorge and for very good reason! During our first visit we also met Ronda who operates the venue. She is fabulous and I immediately knew that she was the kind of venue owner who would not let a single thing fall through the cracks. She is organized, professional, and made me feel confident in investing in this venue. She was happy to answer any questions throughout the entire wedding process. She also provides you will some fabulous guidelines of vendors to work with. This is helpful because all these vendors had worked at this venue previously which really helps minimize if not completely eliminate any day-of-wedding surprises. I could truly go on and on about this experience and it is not due to the fact that it was “my special day”. It is all because I started out an almost perfect canvas, the rest just fell into place based on this starting point. My husband will tell you I am one of the most detail-oriented, and nit-picky people around, but from one bride to another, I 100% recommend Gorge Crest!

My husband and I got married here in July 2015 and we had the most wonderful time. We had a very small wedding with just our immediate family and though Gorge Crest usually caters to larger groups, we had the most intimate ceremony and reception. The space is absolutely stunning in the summer. The wildflowers are in full bloom, the weather is pretty predictable, and the setting is perfect for a romantic day. I wish we could do this day all over again because it was so wonderful. Highly recommend!

Shortly after we got engaged we saw a picture of this venue online. It didn't take long for one of my wife's friends to locate it online. We looked into the site and knew this was the spot!! When you arrive there and really stop to soak in all the details that the location has to offer, it really compares to nothing else!! It felt like you were at the edge of the earth looking into the heavens. The smell of the evergreen trees, the buzz of the bees surrounding the flowers and the tranquility of the view will make you stand still and drop your jaw. It truly blew us away and the guests repeatedly told us the same thing!! We came from Florida to get married there. We are already planning our relocation to this area so we can visit and relive these feelings. You will leave Gorge Crest Vineyards wanting more!! And that is priceless! A+++

We were just married at Gorge Crest. It's panoramic views and incredible atmosphere created the kind of fantasy wedding that we dreamed of.... attention to detail was without limits. We searched over 50 different venues before we finally came across Gorge Crest. The owner, Ronda, was amazing from the very beginning. She took extra time to sit down with us and returned many calls to explain to us the seemingly limitless options available to make our special day the best it could possibly be. All the vendors on their website were amazing. The views from the property were breath taking. Every one of our guests continue to rave about our wedding and tell us how perfect it was. "The most beautiful wedding we've ever been to"... We heard that over and over. As the bride's parents, we could see why this was our daughters top choice. Surrounded by wild flowers and a pear orchard nearby, mountain view is front and center, it's breathtaking.

My daughter’s wedding venue of choice, after looking at all the venues at the Columbia River Gorge area was Gorge Crest Vineyards. I could not have been happier. It is by far the most beautiful venue in the area. In actuality, I have not seen a nicer one anywhere. I urge anyone looking at the photos at Gorge Crest Vineyards’ website to understand that they do not begin to do justice to the unbelievable beauty of the venue. We decided against using a wedding arch for the ceremony because it would interfere with the majestic view of Mt. Hood and the rolling hills flanking it. There is a well-tended colorful flower border which runs along the manicured lawn and it is the foreground for the vineyards and then the mountains. Watching the ceremony from the first row of chairs, the view felt like a 3-D movie. It was surreal… almost a spiritual experience.
It was very touching to see Ronda, the owner, along with her husband and their help tending to the last touches to the ceremony site, for I knew she had lost her father that same week. Throughout the entire process the owner was very helpful to my daughter and her fiancé. Ronda was readily available via phone or e-mail and all her referrals regarding vendors were reliable. The ceremony and reception was outdoors and it was reassuring to know that all could have been moved inside within minutes if it rained. The indoor facility includes separate quarters for the bride’s and the groom’s wedding party, kitchen, living room and make up room. The facility and the services provided by the vendor’s vetted by Gorge Crest Vineyards combined to provide the bride and groom with a glorious day.

We loved our wedding at Gorge Crest Vineyards!
I found Gorge Crest orignally through a web search for outdoor venues in the Hood River, OR area. It was love at first sight, just from viewing the website. When my husband and I finally had a chance to visit the venue, I knew it was where we had to get married. The grounds are beautiful, the amenities and spaces are perfect, and the views of Mt. Hood and the Gorge are out of this world. It is clear that quite a bit of time and attention are put into making Gorge Crest the perfect venue for weddings, and really for any large gathering.
We had an absolutely perfect day. If I was able to go back and do it again, the only thing I might change would be to start the ceremony by 3:30 to allow for an extra hour of reception fun at the end of the night. We started at 4:30, which meant the reception didn't really get going until 7:30/8pm. Due to local noise restrictions, the wedding needed to end by 10pm, but I would have loved to have had another hour to dance and mingle. Obviously this is not a fault of the venue, but something to be aware of as you plan your timeline.
I would definitely recommend Gorge Crest to any bride and groom to be!

My wife Kerry and I were married at Gorge Crest Vineyard August 8th 2014. When we first saw the pictures on her site we fell in love with the place...and then we saw it in person and realized that the pictures didn't even do it justice! I honestly could not believe how gorgeous the view is here and the wildflowers she planted were amazing! Ronda was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. She had plenty of information about vendors that they frequently work with that made everything very easy for us.
We had such an incredible evening at Gorge Crest and several visitors said it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever seen. One of our favorite moments of the day was when we were upstairs looking out the window at people arriving. We could see how amazed they were when they walked out and saw the expansive view of Mount Hood, the vineyard and the wildflowers. I've never seen so many people reaching for their cameras so quick! We look forward to having a picnic there on our anniversary!

My husband and I chose Gorge Crest Vineyards for our wedding venue because of it's amazing views of Mt. Hood, the beautiful surrounding vineyard and pear orchard, and well manicured site. They gave us the flexibility to create our own wedding vision by allowing us to use the vendors of our choosing while providing us a list of recommended vendors in categories we had yet to decide on. The vendors suggested by Gorge Crest were just as top notch as the wedding venue itself! The owner, Ronda, was easy to contact when needed, was able to answer all questions when they arose, and kept things organized from start to finish. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge first hand was exactly what we wanted....having our wedding at Gorge Crest, just sealed the deal with all of our friends and family. They were completely blown away. They also have all the tables and chairs available, bathrooms are nice and the bridal suite is amazing! They have so many little touches all through the property that just make it unbelievable. We have already recommended this place to a friend whose daughter will be getting married there next summer!

My husband and I had our wedding here in July (2014) and it was everything we could have imagined! Not only does the Gorge Crest Vineyards have a jaw dropping view with amazing amenities, they offer anything you could need to host a wedding or party! Included with the rental fee are tables and chairs for about 150 guests, cake tables, gift tables, an amazing outdoor dance floor with strung cafe lights, a horseshoe pit, beautiful guest restrooms and separate amazing bridal and groom suites. There are amazing hammocks and swinging benches along the forest path that my guests absolutely loved relaxing in, and the barn area would be a great "rainy day" reception area should you need it. There are wildflowers throughout the venue as well. It really does look just like the pictures!
Our family and friends that attended the wedding told us repeatedly that ours was the most beautiful wedding they've attended. The natural beauty of the venue leaves little need for any added decorations. Ours was a slightly rustic-theme, but the Gorge Crest Vineyards could easily pull off any dream wedding, rustic or elegant.
We worked with Ronda during the wedding prep, and she is great! She sent out reminders, as well as offered ideas and recommendations to help wedding planning go as smoothly as possible. After our wedding, our damage deposit was refunded very quickly and effortlessly.
Though slightly more than the other venues in the Columbia River area that we visited, the Gorge Crest Vineyards was worth every penny! It really made our wedding "Gorge-ous!"

Being a wedding planner by profession, I knew the moment I got engaged that I was interested in Gorge Crest for my wedding. When my husband and I started looking at venues we were checking out 3 different venues in the Hood River area. We were leaning towards another venue because we thought our wedding size was too large for Gorge Crest. However, when we went to Gorge Crest and met with Ronda we both knew it was the perfect venue for us. Ronda was so easy to work with, flexible and responsive. The venue was absolutely stunning on our wedding day! It has so many beautiful photo spots and our out of town guests were in awe of the mountain view. I'd highly recommend using Gorge Crest to any Bride & Groom and truly think it is a magical spot!

This is a beautiful venue for a wedding. The view will take your breath away. I couldn't have been happier with it, even with scattered showers. We had to move the reception in doors half way through the day when the weather got too wet and after a 5 min lull where everything was reset, the day continued on better than ever. I could not recommend this venue more. You will not regret it!

The location is simply stunning. We both live in the Gorge and many of our guests were ‘local’ as well. Every one of them was equally amazed that a venue could take such advantage of the beauty of the Gorge and create a place that is beyond special. It was also an excellent way for us to show off the Gorge to our out-of-town friends and family. From the beautiful wildflowers, to the towering fir trees, to the epic view of Mt. Hood, the setting is idyllic.
The facilities helped set the tone we were looking for – casual elegance. The barn provides the perfect combination of rustic beauty and modern convenience. It was really fun getting ready in the upstairs bridal/grooms rooms. We were able to watch the guests arrive which made it feel like we didn’t miss anything while we were getting ready. When the sun began to set, we were able to take full advantage of the fireplace, which not only provided some warmth, it also provided an intimate ambiance that we and our guests thoroughly enjoyed. Then, as the evening grew dark, the twinkling lights hung around the dance floor were the perfect romantic accent to the day.
I could not imagine our wedding being as meaningful for us and our guests anywhere else. Gorge Crest helped turn our wedding into more than just a special day, it made it magical!

First of all, wow! Just after becoming engaged, Whit and I were referred to Gorge Crest by a friend - they called it "the most beautiful place they had ever seen a wedding". Well, the next weekend, Whit and I went to visit Ronda at the vineyard and it was by far better than we could have ever expected. The location is unbelievable. We stopped our search after only seeing this one venue because we knew this was where we wanted to get married. Most of our wedding party would be traveling from around the country and for them to wind up here, staring through wildflowers, over the Columbia Gorge and directly at Mt. Hood, we could not imagine a more picturesque place that would embody the Pacific Northwest.
In addition to the gorgeous landscape and grounds at Gorge Crest, Ronda was an extremely helpful asset in helping us plan our big day. From the moment we met her to get a tour of the venue to the wedding day over a year later, Ronda was always proactive in her communication - sharing updates and news regarding vendors and other happenings related to getting married at Gorge Crest. I would absolutely recommend Gorge Crest to my closest friends and I only hope that someone sends me a wedding invite with Gorge Crest listed as the venue so that I can go relive the amazing experience that we shared.

I was lucky enough to have my special day at Gorge Crest Vineyards this summer and cannot recommend it highly enough. From our first visit it was clear to us that Gorge Crest was the place - the view is simply unbeatable, the grounds are perfectly manicured, and extras like hammocks, horseshoe pits, etc. were the icing on the cake. The venue owner, Ronda, was beyond fabulous. Although we are from Portland, my husband and I had recently relocated to Philadelphia to attend graduate school. That said, planning could have been quite tricky, but with Ronda's help it was a breeze! She invited us into her home while we were in town to discuss vendors, ideas, and timeline around her kitchen table as if we were old friends and seemed genuinely interested in our planning process. What's more, I was able to email or call her at any time for questions or concerns. She even answered the phone while at the beach with her kids for a silly of question of mine! The morning of our big day, while I was getting ready, Ronda stopped by to check in on us and make sure things were going well. Everything was pristine, as if we were the first wedding to ever be there. Gorge Crest is the perfect venue for an unforgettable event.

My wife and I knew once we got out of our car that this was place meant for us! After touring over 10 venues around the Gorge and Portland, there was nothing comparable to Gorge Crest! We visited when there was still some snow on the ground, but we could see the vision form the photos...it was breathtaking. Ronda and her husband do an INCREDIBLE job of maintaining everything and they are both super professional and responsive. Every vendor they suggested was amazing and so easy to work with..Ronda went out of her way at every turn to check in with us and make sure we had everything we needed to make our dream day come true! The lighting, manicured lawns, wildflowers , amazing indoor area, great restrooms (my wife did not was a port-a-potty!) just made the guests feel right at home. The way you wind through the walkways in the trees to the hammocks, horse shoe pits and covered pergola just adds to the ambiance. Our guests came up to me throughout the night and wished they could get re-married at Gorge Crest. The views led to guests standing in awe taking hundreds of photos. It could not have been better and I would recommend visiting Gorge Crest if you are planning a wedding! Thank you Gorge Crest for everything!

The wedding guests could not believe the views and how impecible the grounds were. We received so many emails after saying that it was the most beautiful wedding people had ever seen! It is a perfect location as it is close to Portland but you feel like you are in another country. We were able to keep it very simple and use minimal flowers as the natural beauty was all you needed. My wife was in school so I had to do a lot of the planning. Ronda, the owner, was so patient with me and she responded to all my many questions and emails promtly. We looked at 5 other outdoor venues in the Columbia Gorge area for our daughter's mid- August wedding. Gorge Crest was the last on the tour and as the four of us got out of the car we all gasped (and 3 of us are Washingtonians) at the spectacular view of Mt. Hood. We then all said at the same time, "This is it!" Ronda was a joy to work with; she always responded to my questions promptly and had excellent recommendations if I needed advice. Aside from the beautiful setting, because Gorge Crest is designed for special events the catering kitchen, outdoor dance floor, etc. make it very easy to host a wedding away from home. We were fortunate with the weather, but because the indoor area is so large and open there is the advantage of not having to worry about being inside if needed. We were so happy to have found Gorge Crest after another venue falling through! The owner was extremely timely in her responses. I had to call her several times with many questions and she always seemed happy to answer them. I found her easy to work with. I had heard she could be a bit anal but you have to be in order to keep the venue in such pristine condition! The grounds are extremely well maintained and the whole venue was so beautiful. I'm thrilled we got married here!

Stunning backdrop for a wedding
We toured Gorge Crest after seeing photos from the wedding of a friend several years earlier and absolutely fell in love. The view of Mount Hood alone is enough to take your breath away but Gorge Crest has so much more to offer with the barn, the well kept lawn, the wildflowers, the pergola, the hammocks - the list goes on! Jena was great to work with and extremely responsive during the whole process. There are some stipulations (which vendors you can use, noise restrictions, no grooms suite, etc.) so just make sure to read your contract carefully so there are no surprises during the planning process.
Our wedding day was absolutely magical and we still have guests telling us months later how perfect the venue was!

The most beautiful venue you will find
When you see pictures of Gorge Crest you can obviously tell it is beautiful. When you step out of your car at Gorge Crest, you will find it absolutely stunning. You cannot find a better venue. The colors of the lawn, the view, the mountains, and wildflowers make for an incredible backdrop. The forest along the sides of the venue make it a fun place for guests to explore. I appreciated having both indoor and outdoor options. Most importantly, we had the entire venue to ourselves and were free to make it ours for the day. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of Gorge Crest and yours will be too!

Ok, Gorge Crest is outrageously beautiful!!! But that's no secret. If you are considering booking your wedding here, I can certainly recommend it.
Our wedding was May 6, the first of the season. While rain, dead grass, and rusty staff were all possibilities, we were burdened by NONE of those things. In fact, after a brutal winter in the pacific northwest, the team at Gorge Crest went above and beyond to get the grounds groomed and up to snuff in time for our big day.
We have received countless compliments about how beautiful the setting of our wedding was (even people who only saw pictures have expressed this). Our wedding was truly magical, and I don't believe this would have been the case had we chosen any other venue!!

We had an amazing experience with Gorge Crest Vineyards. The vineyard is in a jaw-dropping beautiful location, with a perch over the Columbia River Gorge and a direct and immediate view to the North side of Mt. Hood. Adding to the location are facilities that were clearly tailored specifically for weddings. There were things to do outside, including a horse shoes area, playground for the young ones, and hammocks in the trees. There was also a great suite connected to the building where the bride (and bridal party) can use to get ready. And the set up for the caterer and DJ are fairly optimal, with the caterer having a back room and the DJ having several places to set up.
It was important to us that any facility had an indoor option, as we did not want to stress about rain. The nice thing about Gorge Crest is that it has a great indoor area, which we used for dining but could also be used for the ceremony if needed. And the indoor area has large rolling doors so you can still feel outside. Our wedding had about 100 guests, and I think the location could probably handle comfortably up to 150.
We had great interactions with Ronda, who runs the show at Gorge Crest. She was clearly well organized and proactively reached out to us on logistical matters. The site does come with some restrictions, including recommended vendors for caterers, DJs, and Day-of Wedding Coordinators. While some may view this as restricting flexibility, it was not a problem for us. The recommended vendors were all fantastic (and because they were all familiar with the site, efficient), and when we were unable to book any of the recommended day of wedding coordinators, Ronda had no problem with us making a substitution.
Overall, both us and our guests had an amazing experience and I'd wish the venue on anyone.

When searching for a wedding venue, I decided that I wanted a view of Mt Hood. There are a few places in the Hood River area with nice views. Gorge Crest has, by far, the best view. We had a lot of out of town guests who we wanted to wow with the outdoors of Oregon/Washington. The grounds are kept impeccably, and there are a lot of options to have the kind of ceremony you want. Ronda, the owner, was always prompt, easy to get a hold of and wanted you to have the smoothest most beautiful day possible. My wedding day turned out gorgeous. The weather was wonderful, the site looked great, and Ronda was just present enough that things went smoothly. Guests still remark about the view. Would highly recommend this beautiful location!

Stunning wedding venue
The pictures of this venue speak for itself. It's the most beautiful place in the Gorge to get married! The grounds are extremely well-kept, with pretty wildflowers as a back drop along with Mt. Hood. We decided to down size our wedding and still get married on our original date of 8/7/20. It was a beautiful day that went as planned! The venue comes with separate bride & groom suites, which are such a nice touch. We were able to have a place to get ready and relax before the ceremony started. The owner of the venue, Jena, was communicative throughout the process and adapted to constant changes thrown at us during this pandemic with ease. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place to get married!

This venue is amazing! Prefect set-up for you and your friends and family to have a magical day. From the beautiful view, the awesome grounds, the bridal suite, to the facilities provided for the caterers, it truly is the most amazing venue you will ever see. INCREDIBLE! We just had our wedding at Gorge Crest Vineyards on July 7th and the day was absolutely perfect! This venue is like none other! There are a few "strict" rules, but it is worth it and they are in place to make sure that all future weddings also go smoothly. The owner is extremely easy to work with and is quick to respond, she even dropped by the big day to make sure there was nothing else we needed! The preferred catering and staff were extremely flexible and organized. The bridal suites are accommodating and have everything you could need to help make the big day flow. The grounds are well kept and stunning, our family and friends continue to compliment us on the venue. Honestly this place is really a must see!

This venue stunned all of our guests! Our wedding was in early August and the weather was perfect. The cost is a bit high and the venue owner has very specific vendors she will allow you to use, so that may be a breaking point for others, but she also let us have a brunch wedding and use her space before she normally allows guests on site. The property is definitely the most gorgeous you'll find in the area, and that was the biggest selling point for us.

Communicative and Proactive
Due to COVID-19, my fiancé and I had to postpone our wedding by a year (from August 2020-August 2021). Understandably, this time is difficult for all involved from those getting married who are having to deal with the immense disappointment of postponing one of the most important days in their life to the vendors who are losing so much business due to the virus' impacts.
Gorge Crest was very communicative with us and helped us figure out how to move forward by providing a number of options to choose from to ensure that we got the experience we've always wanted.
We came up with a new plan together and now we are able to look forward to our wedding without the shadow of uncertainty around how all this will play out hanging over our heads. We would definitely recommend!

The reviews are true..... this IS the MOST BEAUTIFUL wedding venue on the planet. We knew the moment we stepped out of the car that this was where we wanted to say our vows-- PacNW perfection. Banks of wildflowers and smooth grass, flanked by pine trees, with the vineyard and orchard below, and all of it with the amazing Gorge dropping off beyond, topped off with a perfectly framed view of Mt Hood. I feel like my wedding day was straight out of a postcard or calendar page. Our guests have still not stopped raving to us about how lovely the setting was! We lucked out with the most perfect weather ever.... the indoor space is beautiful, too, though-- and the huge garage-style doors mean even if you have to move to the rain plan inside, you can still have the view! It's great that they have tables, wine barrels, and attractive/sturdy white folding chairs on-site. The bridal get-ready suite upstairs is well-appointed and spacious, with tall 3-way mirrors perfect for photos, and picture windows to watch your guests arrive. There are some drawbacks-- yikes it's spendy-- and the previous owner/now coordinator/manager is VERY prickly about the rules. She was slightly challenging to work with, but to her credit she was able to be flexible with some reasonable requests (and no doubt many of the rules have a basis in previous hard experiences). Your mileage may vary-- the property recently was sold to new owners, so policies may change over time. In fact, they now have some great rental pieces that we were happy to be able to add on! We are so happy we chose to start our marriage in this magical spot--- Best Day Ever! Thanks Gorge Crest!

This venue is absolutely stunning, and a wonderful place to have a wedding. It is romantic, beautiful, whimsical, and FLEXIBLE! It was sunny, then drizzled, then down poured throughout the day, and with each change it was easy to move from outside, inside, and back again. We had Celilo the recommended caterer provide day of coordination, and Melinda was amazing, I definitely recommend her if you are able to book her. You will not regret being married at Gorge Crest!

mixed feeling on the venue
My wife and i recently got married at gorge crest and aside from the frustrations it was such a stunning venue, amazing views, tidy and clean service. The main reason i'm writing is just a heads up to future couples wanting to get married here and what we went through. Again the experience was great and dont regret a thing but man the owners are something else. They want to charge you for just about everything extra that isn't on the contract. We originally went over 3 people and they sent us a bill for 600$... extra people didnt affect anything at the venue. Then day of, the weather turned and they charged us for heat lamps, wouldnt remove the chairs and tables from the main barn (def an eye sore during your special day) and were not accommodating with much. Another odd thing was i the contract they ask us to provide extra meals for them, the owners, who arent apart of our wedding...doesnt make any sense at all. Lastly, the owners came out during the after party and hovered around. They cut off a friend who only at that point had drink 3 beers because he was being too goofy. All and all just an odd experience and wanted to inform all future people who plan to get married here. There were more odd things in the contract but you will see if you reach out to them. Again, such a beautiful venue with stunning views but other than that i WOULD NOT recommend the place to anyone. Sorry

This site is absolutely gorgeous. We researched for months to find a site that fit our vision of our wedding. The outdoor beauty with a picturesque view of Mt. Hood sold us on the site. The price tag is high, but because it also had an indoor option, we decided to go with it. Everything seemed perfect until we began to work with the venue owner. We heard from other vendors in the town that the owner was difficult to work with and that they chose not to do business with her anymore, but we gave her the benefit of the doubt. We readily learned about the challenges first hand and she was hands down the worst part of our wedding. In our experience, the site owner was highly disorganized, difficult to work with, and made unreasonable requests and was unwilling to help us figure out how to meet them. For example, she billed us twice for the site fee and argued with us that we had not paid. We sent her the receipt and she acknowledged her error with no apologies. We also paid for corkage in advance, which I would not recommend. She came to the site after the wedding was over, went through the garbage, and counted the wine bottles. She billed us again that night and again would not consider our argument that we had already paid corkage. Another example of her difficult behavior was with our catering staff. While they were madly cooking in order to get the food out, she was placing demands on them and they had to finally get firm with her and say that they do not work for her. Later, she took home enough food for 10 people to feed her family and we almost ran out of food for the rest of the guests. She didn't even ask if she could have some of our food or interact with the catering staff! Very frustrating. I think my best advice to you if you are considering Gorge Crest is to be very clear and firm with the owner and save all agreements and payments in writing.

Awful Experience - Do Not Book During the Pandemic
Like many, we completely fell in love with the breathtaking scenery of Gorge Crest and booked our date for late June 2020. It has sadly been a heartbreaking nightmare trying to work with Jena to find any sort of reasonable solution to the day that was supposed to be the most important of our life.
As and freelancer myself, I am sensitive that Jena has a small business and can't refund everyone for an entire season. However she kept her heels dug in even when the law would prohibit our wedding. We had to cancel and have still not received a dime of our money back.
Up until 2 days before the wedding WA state was not allowing parties of 50+. We had 70 people attending, however Jena repeatedly refused to let us cancel even through it would have been against the law to have the wedding. Though we provided her with all the addresses and names of our guests, she repeatedly went behind our backs and called our personal vendors to try to prove we had a smaller guest list, so that she wouldn't have to refund us. She of course couldn't prove it because we were telling the truth, but we found the whole thing very creepy and disrespectful.
We live in NYC and had people who were supposed to fly in from all over the world. Maybe it's because her county has only had one infection, but we repeatedly got the sense that Jena had no regard for the danger of this pandemic for not only our guests, but also the people of Hood River by incentivizing travel from all over the world into her small town. When we were having 10,000 people infected in NYC a DAY, I got an email from her telling me to "just be optimistic".
Jena absolutely refused to offer any reschedule dates in next year's season saying they were only for new clients and would only give 1) Dates during the Pandemic (which others had cancelled) 2) Dates in the off season winter where it would be snowing or raining.
I'm so sorry to anyone else going through this right now. We were heartened by all the other vendors involved in the wedding who refunded our money or were happy to reschedule and were incredibly kind and understanding. Gorge Crest was the one exception and I would advise against booking until the Pandemic is completely over.
