The dj played the absolute best music of the night. His mc was off the charts! He helped maintain the vibes of the wedding and helped keep the flow going through the night! The guests are still raving about how much fun they had. Especially because his wife was Mai ting the Photo Booth which was a raging success. My guests were very happy and I’m still hearing the compliments today!
High recommend them. Super on point and professional! Great duo! -

We had an amazing experience with Gilbert and April from Good Times Entertainment! They were not only professional but also incredibly warm and accommodating on the day of our event. The quality of the photos was outstanding, and everyone loved the fun variety of props they provided. They were flexible with the setup times and even offered to stay longer if needed, which was much appreciated. We highly recommend Good Times Entertainment for any event you won’t be disappointed! -

I hired Gilbert and his wife for my wedding and let me just say, they did not disappoint! Gilbert was very responsive and receptive to our music style. He gladly accepted our music list and was able to mix it excellently on the night of the wedding. My wedding "venue" was not the easiest location/setup but that did not stop them from delivering the best party with his skills. The dance floor was literally packed the entire night! This couple is the ultimate power couple, and I can't wait to book future events with them. Thanks for your help -

From our very first meeting our questions were answered professionally and very friendly we were treated respectfully even though we were very inexperienced in choosing a DJ. On our wedding day the DJ played all the songs we wanted and the type of music we wanted everybody commented on what a great DJ we had. We also decided to get the photo booth which we were very pleased with the custom picture strips and our guests were very pleased also. The cloudy fog for our 1st dance was perfect. -

Gilbert and April were absolutely incredible and the perfect DJ for our wedding. They were incredibly accommodating throughout the process, even with the last minute changes we threw at them. They truly made the evening all that it was, as Gilbert was an incredible announcer throughout and April was awesome on the Photo Booth ! Would 10/10 recommend them!! And for such a beautiful set up and the Photo Booth (plus the dancing in clouds and love sign), the price points were more than reasonable and super affordable, which is what we are all looking for when wedding planning!! I would hire them again in a heart beat and definitely will for future events! -

Simply Amazing!
Gilbert & April were simply amazing to work with at every stage of planning our wedding! They are top notch pro’s at what they do! & are so kind, knowledgeable, generous & patient with any changes & special additions you want to add to your event. & beyond helpful with their expertise in helping to make your wedding so special & uniquely tailored for your vision! We even got our favorite group photo of the day due to a suggestion Gilbert made!!! & our guests danced the night away due to all the perfect music choices they played!!! We cannot recommend them more as we know they too will make your special day perfect & memorable for years to come! & they even shared the playlist with us that was made for our cocktail hour so we’ll have that to treasure for years to come too!!! They are both SIMPLY AMAZING!!!

Professional, visually stunning, and kept the party going all night long! Everyone told us that it was the funniest wedding they had been to. Their attention to details was key. Our party and guest were running late due to tons of traffic on the freeway. My DJ kept us in the loop and made sure we knew he had it under control and. It to worry. Once we arrived he had a plan on how to make sure all the special events were covered and still have plenty of time to party the night away. If you want to have an amazing time at your wedding you need to go with GTS! -

Great addition to our wedding!
Gilbert and his wife were amazing! The photo booth was a huge hit at my wedding and everyone enjoyed all the fun props that were provided. They communicated with us throughout the whole process before the wedding and were flexible when we wanted to add an additional hour. They were also able to create a custom photo strip for us which I loved. They were such a pleasure to work with! -

Gilbert and April were a great choice for our wedding. As many of the reviews say, they are helpful, kind, and professional. Our unique venue was no challenge for GTS. Their on-boarding questionnaire ensured we heard the music we loved and kept everyone out on the dance floor. Last minute decision to plug into the sound board and sing a tune to my love…no problem. Great addition to a wonderful evening
Gilbert and April were a joy to work with throughout the entire process. They were responsive when we had questions and met with us the week prior to finalize our song selections. They played exactly what we wanted with a mix of other songs thrown in that fit the vibe of the evening. Gilbert was a great emcee!
They also provided the uplighting for our event and it really brought the room together and made it beautiful. -

Gilbert and April provided DJ and MC services for our January 2022 wedding in Santa Barbara, CA. From the first phone call, Gilbert was professional, knowledgable, and extremely helpful. As our special day got closer, he made every effort to make sure we were happy with the event timeline and song selections. Even last minute, he was able to purchase songs for my husband's family from Egypt. These were a hit and truly made the union of our Colombian and Egyptian backgrounds that much more special to see on our special day. Thank you so much Gilbert, if we ever need a DJ for an event, you are our first choice! -

5 star wedding reception dj/mc service
I want to start off by saying April and Gilbert are amazing people! My wife and I had our wedding in August. All night long we had compliments about our DJ/MC. Their set up was so modern and professional, they allowed us to fully customize our night and EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! It was incredible, I loved everything about their service. They made our wedding night extra special, all of our guests LOVED THEM! Their communication, organization and planning is second to none! It was all about US and they were so accommodating and flexible to our needs and suggestions. The day of the wedding… They were in top of everything, it was exactly what we were looking for and MORE! They truly offer a 5 STAR SERVICE! If I could rate then any higher I would! I would absolutely recommend them to anybody and will definitely be in need of their services at our next event! Gilbert and his wife April were absolutely amazing!!! They paid close attention to all the small details. They met with us before our wedding and made us feel very comfortable. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Gilbert’s Emceeing skills are second to none and really know how to work the room. I now know how important it is to have a good DJ at your event and I highly recommend them. From all his lighting to his all white DJ booth, he truly made our reception look beautiful. If you’re looking for a DJ look no further!!!

I literally cannot say enough about Gilbert and his wife April. I did a destination wedding and they were the only vendor that wanted to meet with us in person when we came to check out the venue. He likes to meet his couples in person before the wedding (and drove an hour for that). He completely got us and he’s actually the only part of the wedding I didn't have planned to every detail, didn’t even do a song list and yet, he killed it. He showed up early, set up for the ceremony, another set up for the wedding, and just handled everything (his wife as well). Not only are they awesome people, they are incredible at what they do. Our reception was perfection and Gilbert and April will always be fondly remembered by us. THANK YOU for caring so much amount what you do, it truly shows. Hire them. I guarantee you will not regret it, actually I guarantee you’ll be thrilled you did. -

Gilbert and April Apodaca were absolutely phenomenal. Goodtimes entertainment did not disappoint— in fact they were an AMAZING time.
Gilbert was thorough, honest, helpful, kind, professional, and flexible. He was able to run the whole show, get the dance floor filled, and didn’t really need us (the bride and groom) because he had prepared so well. April was just as helpful. She ran the photo booth. We are in awe of our photo album with messages from our loved ones. Not only did April make encourage people to take a picture and sign, she was there to capture pictures of special moments for us. Gosh! She even helped with fix an extension in my hair!! Haha altogether, we would hire them again in a heartbeat. They will forever have a special place in our hearts!! -

I conducted several DJ interviews, each one lasted about 40 minutes (I was thorough). My fiance and I unanimously and without hesitation agreed that Goodtimes is the DJ that we want for our wedding. Gilbert and April's answers show them to be just as thorough as I am. I am confident that our wedding will be amazing and that Goodtimes will be a major reason for that. They are detail oriented so that I don't have to worry about any details I may miss or forget. Definitely looking forward to the good times that Goodtimes will provide.
Update: Our wedding was the best!!!!!! My husband and I are huge, HUGE, geeks. So we asked for classical versions of video game and anime songs. We had a list of songs we wanted and Gilbert purchased them and played them perfectly. There were other parts of our wedding were we weren't as particular and just gave Gilbert some general music categories and the songs he selected were perfect! Our wedding had a good mix of older and younger generations and there were songs played for everyone. Hands down, my husband and I are so happy we went with Goodtimes! -

Very special day
Gilbert and his wife both met with us to go over all the fine details related to our special day and provided unique ideas that was very unique to our wedding. They provided all the necessities and then some - lights, tables, custom imagery, and even took tons of pictures! Our wedding party and guests have all commented on who detailed our small wedding was and Good Times Entertain was a big part of that. Everything was flawless up until the last hour - which we took full advantaged of - dancing until the end. We have a mixed crowd, old and young and the music alternated perfectly to give everyone a chance to have a blast.

Such a Professional Team!
From the first meeting with Gilbert and April, we knew we were in good hands. They were amazingly organized, which is great for a bride and groom who’s minds are going a bit crazy. On our first meeting, Gilbert showed us a mock itinerary (down to the minute) of an event from start to finish! It was so reassuring. They were also very open to the vibe, look, and feel that we were looking for for our wedding.
Goodtimes comes with an array of equipment, not just for music, but for decor and other wedding needs. They’re the whole package!
As a bride and groom getting married for the first time, Gilbert and April held our hand through all of our questions and concerns. When we weren’t sure how our open venue was going to work with power sources, etc., Gilbert and April met us on site (2 hours from their home base) to go over a plan.
Over the last few months before the wedding, Gilbert and April kept constant communication with us as all the little details got resolved.
On the day of the wedding, they arrived hours before the start of the wedding to get set up. The day went on without a hitch. April even helped our photographer with a few things she needed some extra help with! Talk about going above and beyond!
Our wedding was so amazing! And I have Gilbert and April from Goodtimes to thank for that. We got many compliments for our DJ and have recommended them to a few of our friends already! -

My SAVIORS and the best!!!
This wonderful couple made my wedding the most talked about amongst our parents friends and family for the entire wedding season. We got married early May and after every other wedding people would say “yours was better”. Why? The music!!! We told Gilbert our loose theme (70’s & 80’s) and he really got everyone on the dance floor. Speaking of the dance floor, he quoted us for one, then after searching decided we wanted his. Unfortunately, the vendor he rented from was fresh out of dance floors that day, HOWEVER Gilbert has been seriously considering purchasing a dance floor for a while and decided our wedding was as good a time as any. Then, he made sure to put it up and break it down same day because our venue was worried about the grass. This power couple were on time, on point, and blew everyone away. The lights, the music, everything. They are honestly the only vendors I had who 100% nailed it! I would absolutely recommend them to EVERYONE in SoCal who needs a professional DJ who honestly loves what he does and won’t charge you club DJ prices. -

We had the honor of having Gilbert and his wife as the DJ at our wedding. We were referred to them by our wedding coordinator Terri Briones and they did not disappoint. I wish I could put into words how amazing they are! The music was absolutely perfect and EVERY SINGLE PERSON at our wedding raved about how amazing it was as well! The dance floor stayed packed throughout the entire night. Not only was the arrangement of songs fantastic, Gilbert and his wife are seriously two of the kindest people I’ve ever met! They listen to you and will work with whatever your taste in music is. They are worth every single penny we spent on them. And I’d do it all over again! Highly highly recommend these two! -
