I can not say enough great things about Goodman Photography. Not only do my pictures capture the that magical special feeling of my wedding day, the color of them is outstanding as well (which can be very hard to find now days.) They made me feel very comfortable and went WAY above and beyond the normal responsibilities of a photographer. My wedding truly would not have been as wonderful without them and I will definitely be using them again for any future events!

Great Experience
Ross and Jamie were very easy to work with. They were professional but also able to have a good time to make everyone feel at ease. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. Ross met with us a few days prior to the wedding in order to get ideas and look at the venue since it was being held at a private home. He was well prepared and there were no surprises. We love the job that Goodman Photography did and have received lots of compliments on the photos. It hasn't been easy picking out the favorites because there are so many.

My husband and I were so pleased with Goodman Photography. Ross Goodman and his wife, Jamie, were amazing!! They were there early on our wedding day. They were totally prepared and they made the whole process so pleasant. They are very personable and Ross's photos were absolutely gorgeous. He captured the beauty of the park where we got married, but he also photograhed everyone in attendance so beautifully. I can't stress enough how professional and courteous they were. Ross and Jamie did an awesome job on my wedding pictures. They were there to fill the needs of items that I forgot. They were there to take pictures of surprises before, during and after the wedding. They moved about without being noticed and got photos that were REAL and showed emotions. They helped get everyone get where they needed to be, and helped where needed all while getting the best photos ever!! I have the best memories with their pictures!!! I would highly recommend them.

We absolutely LOVED Ross and Jamie. They were fun and on point with every single detail. It poured down rain on our wedding but it did not keep them from getting amazingly beautiful shots. Ross and his wife Jamie make an amazing team! When I originaly scheduled the time I did not account for the additional time needed. At the last minute I contacted Ross to see about changing the time and he did not have any issues with it nor did he complain like some vendors will do. He said he understood completely and made the change in time. The day of my wedding I had no clue what to expect or what to do with a photographer! They came in and they just took control and guided us every second of the way. They set up all these shots while I was getting ready (some beautiful pictures of me getting ready) and then he had a vision and took us and set up all the shots. The whole time he kept asking if we had any special requests for backdrops or for certain people to be pictured together and they made it happen. The one thing I really love about my pictures is not only did they capture the special "staged" moments, or moments of the ceremony and reception; but they also caught off guard pictures when we thought no one was paying attention and some of those have become my favorite pictures. Ross has an amazing talent for what he does and can just come up with some amazing shots. They are the best team to use for photography for any occasion because they dont feel like strangers when they show up, they feel like family while they are there working with you to make sure everything goes smoothly and you get what you want.

Working with Ross goodman photography was an extraordinary experience. Ross was our wedding photographer and he truly went above and beyond my expectations. Ross and his wife were absolutely amazing and my husband and I couldn't be happier with how he captured our special day in photographs- we will forever cherish these pictures. I couldn't have asked for more. Ross took the time to meet me at Starbucks months before our wedding to discuss preferences etc , then he met with me a second time at Starbucks a few weeks before our wedding ( this time with my then-fiancé now husband ) to go over detail again which helped ease my nerves. Then , without even being asked , Ross took the time to come to our rehearsal at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. On our wedding day, Ross and and his wife were just amazing. I was so anxious but they somehow knew how to work with that and utilized every minute to capture special moments. I was so grateful for the crackers and gatorade his wife fed me so I didn't pass out , and my husband was so thankful Ross's wife had a sewing kit and helped see his button back on. They just went beyond their call of duty and we are grateful.

My husband and I did our research on photographers in Macon, GA, and after meeting with Ross and Jamie, we fell in love with their quality of work and service, personalities, professionalism and creativity. Ross and Jamie are great at following up with you and making sure you feel good and excited about your photos during your wedding planning process. Ross came to our wedding rehearsal and met our families and everyone in our wedding party so that he would be even more prepared for our wedding day. We had our wedding at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. On the wedding day, Ross and Jamie were absolutely wonderful - they cared so much about my husband and I beyond as our photographers. For me, Jamie stayed with me until a few minutes before I walked down the aisle, to make sure I knew where I was going since the Church was big. Jamie made sure my veil, hair, and dress were okay before I walked down the aisle. At our reception, Jamie and Ross were so helpful with things that my husband and I forgot to do. Our engagement session prior the wedding was so fun, largely because Ross and Jamie listened to our ideas and also suggested their own (which were better) to create beautiful pictures. We were so happy with the results from that day and from the wedding itself. Then after the wedding, when a snafu outside of their control limited our photo-taking time (a rogue hairstylist taking too long on the bride), they helped us set up the most amazing after shoot. We could not be more pleased with the quality of the pictures and their level of service. If you are looking for a photographer with a laid-back style but meticulous attention to detail and excellent customer service, Ross Goodman is a fantastic choice!

On the day of the wedding they arrived early and bounced from bride to groom as things were happening. They had all the equipment and backups. They guided us through all of our pictures and were more than happy to take ones that we wanted.
The return on the pictures was amazingly fast and the pictures were amazing. We enjoyed flipping through them and seeing our wedding from a different perspective. Color, lighting, composure was all top notch in all of the pictures. The still life composures were amazing!

My fiance and I booked Ross to do our engagement photos locally since our wedding is out of state. We planned to do an outdoor session at a local farm and were all set to go, until the week of and the weather forecast said 100% chance of rain. Ross was great at giving alternative options for our session, but was willing to embrace the rain with us! Clad in a poncho and boots, Ross stood out in the rain and captured some of the most magnificent shots I have ever seen. Everyone who sees our pictures wants it to rain now for their photos! Ross was easy to work with and made sure my fiance and I felt comfortable the whole session. I would highly recommend Ross Goodman Photography to anyone and everyone!

The price was very reasonable compared to other photographers and we felt we got just as much value as we would if we spent more money on the more expensive photographers out there. Our wedding photography was of course a big concern for us, but Ross really made us feel comfortable at our initial consult so it was a done deal at that point. I really can't say enough good things about Ross and Jamie!!

Ross and Jamie did an Incredible job capturing our wedding and engagement pictures. Ross came recommended to me by another photographer I had contacted but was already booked for my wedding date. I called Ross and we set a meeting up as I had never heard of him before and wanted to check him out. To my surprise, we were able to meet after church one Sunday afternoon as we all go to the same church in Warner Robins. After talking for about 10 minutes I knew that I wanted to work with him!! Ross was so responsive to my phone calls, texts and emails that I was able to completely relax when it came to anything involving my pictures! I was really nervous when we did our engagement photos as my Husband HATES getting his picture taken. Ross was able to put him at ease and make him comfortable enough that we got some great shots. We even had our 2 dogs in our photos! But he really blew me away with our wedding pictures!! I cannot stop looking at them!! The day of the wedding, Ross and Jamie were amazing to work with! Jamie brought an emergency kit for the bridal party that was so very helpful! They were able to keep our large wedding party (9 Bridesmaids and Groomsmen) under control and get the shots we wanted plus more we didn't even think we wanted!! They were so willing to go above and beyond to make our day Perfect and they did!!

Ross Goodman and his wife exceeded any expectations I had from the beginning conversations to the engagement shoot to our wedding day.
They arrived early to capture details, gave us ideas for different shots, made sure we had all of the shots we wanted, helped with groomsmen being difficult, and any other smaller things that they could (His wife even helped tie the sash on my dress since none of my bridesmaids or family could tie a decent bow). I never had to worry about a shot being missed because they were all over it. Instead of a lot of formal pictures, we have amazing candids that I love and will use for years. As I showed my gallery to someone who was unable to make it to our big day, she said the pictures flowed beautifully in a story, that she was able to witness every special moment in a photograph, and she felt like she was actually there. I have looked through our gallery several times to relive our day, and I wouldn't have been able to do that without Ross and his wife.
If you're looking for a wedding photographer that you aren't going to have to worry about, this is your guy! I would also highly recommend hiring his wife as his second shooter. Both of their ideas are great, and my wedding pictures are something I will cherish and showcase forever. Very reasonably priced for the INCREDIBLE work that they do!!

Ross recently took our engagement photos in downtown Macon, and they are more than I could have ever pictured! He and his wife both have a creative eye, are very easy to work with, and made this shoot super fun and relaxed. When ordering prints I made a mistake that was totally my fault. Mr. Goodman tried to stop the order for me but was unsuccessful, so he gave me a $10 coupon on my next order. I had a specific request for how I wanted the shootings and he complied with 2 pages of different groupings I had scheduled. I contacted 10 photographers in the area and he was the only one to agree to my unusual requests. I would totally recommend him to anyone needing an on-site photographer. He checked out the outside lighting to pick the perfect place of the big group photo of 33 people. Everyone could be seen and eyes were open. FANTASTIC FEAT

My husband and I booked Ross as our wedding photographer, and we could not be any happier with our pictures, as well as Ross's service and professionalism. My husband is not a fan of the camera, but Ross knew exactly how to create a relaxing atmosphere to put his nerves at ease. After receiving the photos, his ideas and creativity are incredible and could surpass anything we could have come up with. Throughout wedding, Ross captured small, beautiful moments with our family and friends, I had missed. I'm so grateful he was there, so I didn't miss out on those completely. If we could do our wedding all over again, we would re-book Ross in a heartbeat. He is truly a gifted photographer, and a delight to work with.

People say that no wedding is perfect... well mine was and Ross Goodman Photography made sure of it. From the engagement session to the bridal session to the actual wedding Ross did a fantastic job. He is creative and really has an eye for photography. My pictures turned out better than I could have ever expected. I am having trouble deciding which ones to hang up in my house. Ross is inventive in the scenery and ways he takes shots and the editing it superb. He puts touches on the final package to make it perfect! His price is excellent for the quality of his work.
