Anthony was incredible to work with. He was so organized, thorough and easy to work with. He took all of our needs into consideration and we loved his recommendations for how to make our evening a success. He beyond delivered and everyone was so impressed with his work. Good Times Indeed!

Anthony was amazing! He made us some really cool custom mixes for some of our special moments like our recessional and the mother/son dance, and he nailed it with personalizing the playlist for us based on our extensive “do not play” list, LOL. Our goal was to go against the grain and break with tradition. Anthony was one of a kind and 100% on board with our vision every step of the way.

He was so fun to work with, very responsive and communicative, open to ideas and feedback. He really made it feel personal, like his heart was in it, not like we were just another client.

The energy on the dance floor was high all night long. The dance floor was literally packed all night, it was hard to get people to sit down! If you’re looking for a super in-your-face MC who bounces around the dance floor all night, he’s not your guy. But if you’re like us and wanted a talented, professional DJ who would keep the energy high organically and puts his heart into his work, we highly, HIGHLY recommend!

Amazing Saxophonist!!!

Good Time Productions came out to The Videre for a wedding and CRUSHED IT. The saxophone playing really brought so many good vibes to the venue. I highly, highly recommend

A Great Experience

My wife Christina and I were married at Plattduetsche Park in Franklin Square on October 14th 2023. Anthony did an amazing job for us as our DJ. We had a unique Hard Rock / Heavy Metal style wedding. We gave him a list of songs and he ran with it. We asked him to not have the music so loud that people at the tables couldn't talk to each other. We had had compliments on this. People were able to talk and not scream at each other. Thank you Anthony for the great job that you did for us!

Amazing DJ Service!

We booked Anthony to be the DJ for our wedding and he was nothing but professional, communicative, and friendly throughout the entirety of it. It was super helpful having Anthony initially set up a Zoom call with us and walk us through every detail as well as ask about our personal preferences (and he thoroughly executed it on the night of the wedding!). Highlight for us as a couple was the dance floor, and how electric he got the atmosphere to be (our friends and family still talk about it till this day!). Hands down, Anthony has been the best vendor we've personally worked with, and without a doubt would recommend Anthony to DJ anyone else's wedding!

Collaborative, professional, creative

We highly recommend Good Times Production and DJ Anthony. The experience was very collaborative and creative. The client portal was easy to use for payment, organizing the wedding schedule and song requests. Our initial meeting was getting to know each other. Our theme was musical theatre which Anthony was honest that he was not too familiar with Broadway shows. However, we sent him a list of songs that would be appropriate for throughout the evening, and he was able to adapt. We chose Good Times for the DJ set up with lights and he exceeded our expectations. He was knowledgeable with sound and mic checks. He was collaborative with our pianist, live singers and drag performers. Anthony listened to our choice of not playing certain songs. He was very aware and observant of guests’ reactions during the dance portion of the night. All our guests gave positive feedback and said it was one of the best wedding sets (timing, appropriate choices for cocktail to dinner to dance, music transitions). We would highly recommend working this professional team.

The best DJ I could have asked for!!!

Look no further than Anthony as your DJ for your event! As soon as I reached out to him, he set up a zoom for us and wanted to understand what I was looking for. He allowed me to customize my entire playlist with my cocktail hour. I did not do anything traditional and Anthony helped me bring all of my dreams to reality. All of my guests felt it was the best wedding playlist they every heard!! Even the venue said they never saw that many people on the dancefloor at the same time up until the very last moments of the wedding! Anthony is my forever go to DJ!!

Excellent DJ and Excellent service !!!!

We are so glad we came across Anthony and his company to DJ our wedding. He was very detailed, he walked us thru the process, had a great website that made us picking songs and providing him all the information he needed easy. On wedding day he was well prepared and adjusted due to extras that we did. Would definitely recommend him for any event. We had our Wedding at Terrance on the Park in case that is of interest to anyone.

Book with Anthony!!!

Anthony was an absolute pleasure to work with from our first meeting until the end of our wedding night. He is so personable and really worked with us to make sure all of the music we wanted was included. He made it very easy for us to add songs that we wanted (and didn't want, which I thought was great) and he was very thorough in going through the plan prior to the big day to make sure we were all set. The day of the wedding, Anthony arrived early with ample time to set up and have music up and running for our guests, some of which arrived 45 minutes early. He kept things running smoothly (dances, speeches, etc.) and once the dance floor opened, it was packed for the rest of the night. The music was great and so many of our guests complimented the playlist before and during the wedding. We loved working with Anthony and would highly recommend him to DJ any event.

Simply The Best

It is without hesitation that I recommend Good Times Productions for any event. Anthony did a superb job at my wedding, where we had a cross-generational crowd. The music was perfect, and Anthony emceed flawlessly. He used our suggestions and his experience to curate the perfect playlist for our guests. We also used Good Times Productions for music and a photo booth at my step-daughter's bat mitzvah - both were a huge hit. Look no further. This is the DJ to hire.

We had the time of our lives

Anthony did a great job DJing and MCing our wedding. We had a pretty small wedding and Anthony gave us a reasonable price compared to other NYC DJs.

Looking for a good time? This DJ will bring it!

Anthony and his assistant Craig put together the perfect soundtrack for our wedding. In the run-up to the wedding he was super flexible, putting up with a bi-coastal time difference in planning Zoom meetings to discuss our musical tastes and playlists. During the wedding he played the perfect songs to both reflect our sensibilities and get both a bunch of stolid midwesterners and Filipino Aunties up on the dance floor and hopping about. After the wedding we got a bunch of compliments about the DJ and would 100% recommend him to anyone.

My wife and I had Anthony as our DJ for our wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! I have never seen a more organized and caring professional who took the time to make our day special. He invested so much time in our event prep and gave me the feeling that not only was my money being well spent, but that he cared deeply about executing our vision. Wedding in India

Here is how good Anthony is as a DJ and for weddings. I know him from NYC and flew him in to INDIA for my wedding because that is how important the music was to me (I’m a music NUT!) and I trusted no one else to get it right. He did. He’s the best! End of story.

Anthony was a fantastic addition to our wedding. He genuinely cares about making the music fit your vision for your big day, and his online request system is very easy to use. commitment and professionalism

One thing that I notice immediately is the level of commitment and professionalism that Anthony has about his work. Managing the logistic, the preparation, and how he was ready to go and prepare in every moment was so assuring, I think his experience speaks for itself.
 
The way that Anthony guide us through the event and how he could support us and set up the mood for each part of the wedding was incredible; he listened to what we like and blended both styles for the ceremony, cocktail, dinner and party time, even the close was amazing
 
As a context, for me, music and dance were key parts of the party, and as a multicultural wedding, with multiple backgrounds, I thought it could be challenging, but not for Anthony. I don't think there was a person that didn't enjoy or didn't dance. From the Hora Loca, Latin music to folklore music, he set up the tone for the wedding and kept us moving until the end. We didn't want to finish.
 
What didn't we like? That we didn't have more time to keep dancing and partying.

We found Anthony on Weddingwire and were so pleased with his service. He played everything on our playlist and brought so much energy to the whole wedding! He was very accommodating with all of our requests and could not have been easier to work with. We highly recommend hiring him!

Anthony made our wedding a HUGE SUCCESS. We are from NY, and had our wedding in VT....Not only did he help use curate songs and playlists but he made it easy for us to pick and choose songs we wanted, along with his guidance. He met with us 2x in person to go over all details, run of wedding, and song choices. He gave us true, honest, professional feedback, and really made our big day a grand slam! On the day of, Anthony made a point to come up to Vermont 1 day earlier, to make sure our sound ( we had an outdoor ceremony) was clear, and that we had all sound items working cohesively. I also sprung a last minute surprise video to my husband, and he brought his projector " just in case", and we ended up using it, and the video made my husband cry! He is a family man, professional, and really takes pride in his work and his over all vibe. I highly recommend!

We hired Anthony to MC and DJ our wedding at the Yale Club, and he was a true pleasure to work with. He was friendly and professional throughout the wedding, and he delivered on everything that he said that he would. He seamlessly integrated our list of “must play” songs into an overall music set that had the guests up and dancing at almost every opportunity. He also set just the right tone with the way that he introduced people for speeches, toasts, and other events. We would give him our highest recommendation for anyone considering hiring a DJ for a wedding or any similar event.

Anthony was one of the best DJ's I have ever heard. He was professional, played great music for the event...we pretty much left it up to him and he certainly came through with song choices. We received many compliments from the attendees with regard to the DJ. If you are having an event, Anthony Gelo is the person to contact -- you won't be disappointed!

Good Times Productions was hired to DJ my wedding. I met with Anthony a couple of times. Throughout those meetings, Anthony explained everything and he also lsitened to what my fiancé and I wanted. He did the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He was phenomenal. There wasn't one thing I would change. He he led in with me throughout the night to make sure I was happy with everything. He was always easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. He was professional and friendly. I would recommend and already have recommended Anthony to others. I would choose Anthony to DJ another event in a heartbeat

Anthony did a great job at my wedding. He was professional, flexible, and could read the crowd. I really liked that he had an online request system so I would know my favorite music would be played. During the reception, some guests requested a bunch of Albanian songs, which Anthony had to look up in order to play. I only wish we could have had him for our after party!

GoodTimes Entertainment did a FABULOUS job at my after-school programs Spring Dance! He made sure to play all the music the students requested! He also made sure to keep the party going! He truly provided an enjoyable experience for everyone. He was on time for our engagement and was extremely friendly and attentive! I would definitely use his services again in the near future!

I hired Anthony for my wedding on 11/8/14 and I could not have asked for a better DJ. Anthony was wonderful to work with from start to finish and really understood what my husband and I wanted for our wedding. He played a blend of music that appealed to all ages and kept everyone (including myself) dancing the entire night! There is no doubt that I will use Good Times Productions again!!

I hired Anthony to DJ and host my daughter's sweet 16 this past weekend. I was very impressed with his professionalism throughout the entire planning process and also during the day of the event. We met with him several times before the party to go over the entire schedule and music. He was very prompt in responding to emails and very good at accommodating all of our requests. The week before the event, I was feeling very confident which was a huge burden off my chest.

When it came to the night of the event, he and his staff were all prompt and courteous. As an emcee, he was very polite and read the room well. He had great timing when it came to transitions and flexible when we were slightly off schedule. As a DJ, he had a good selection of songs. He made sure to play the songs that we had requested and both the kids and adults had a great time, everyone was on their feet and dancing.

I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him to anyone else.

Anthony was the DJ at our wedding a couple of weekends ago, and I have nothing but positive things to say about him and his services. He did a great job of understanding our music tastes during our planning meetings, and I found his online music request system simple and convenient to use.

Throughout the night, Anthony 100% delivered on what we wanted and created the perfect ambiance and flow from ceremony to reception. Even with only a couple of songs on our 'Must Play' list and limited direction from us, Anthony was still able to curate a fantastic playlist of current hits and 90s/00s throwbacks for us and our guests. We all had so much fun. He was mindful of the dance floor, thoughtful about the equipment setup, and I really enjoyed working with him.

We hired Anthony to DJ our wedding on 7/12/14. We wanted to have music that fit the vibe and vision of our perfect wedding. We did not stick to the traditional timeline of first dances, speeches and cake cutting. Anthony played every song we requested and at perfect timing. He was so helpful in song choices. I hired Anthony to DJ my daughter’s Quinceañera (Sweet 15th) last weekend. Overall, I was truly impressed with his professionalism. Anthony read the crowd well and kept the people dancing. He was excellent.

Prior to the actual event, my wife and I met with Anthony twice and communicated via email. He was always very helpful. Since we were going to have several guest that only spoke Spanish, a bilingual MC was a must have. Anthony came through, and provided the bilingual MC who was excellent and well received by my guests. I was also impressed with the on-line music request system. With DJ Anthony there were no surprises during or at the end of the event. He’s a man of his word and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to hire Anthony again.

I hired Anthony to DJ my wedding last weekend. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism, musical timing, and emcee'ing. Anthony DJ'ed both my ceremony and reception. The ceremony music timing was flawless and added such a special touch to my nuptials. The reception was just FUN! Anthony read the crowd well and played what people were really digging!

Prior to the actual event, my husband and I met with Anthony several times and he was always super helpful. I was just very pleasantly surprised with how everything was set up - with the step-by-step walk-throughs and the on-line music request system. I would not hesitate to hire Anthony again, for any other function!!

My husband and I had Anthony Gelo DJ for us at our wedding earlier this month. He was AMAZING! Kept the energy going strong all night, and everyone had a great time! He was extremely professional, and went out of his way a few times to accommodate our bust schedules. He met with us a few times at our house, and at the venue to make sure everything was just right for the wedding. I strongly recommend booking your next event with Anthony and Good Times Productions.

DJ Anthony was the DJ/Announcer for our wedding on September 14th at The Water Club. From day one, Anthony was amazing. He is professional, affordable and extremely pleasant to deal with. The knowledge he has in regards to music is out of this world. Every song my husband and I picked, he knew. The day of our wedding, he was prompt, the set up was amazing and he played almost all of the songs my husband and I requested, which was a lot. We highly recommend him and will definitely be using his services again.

I hired Good Times Productions / DJ Anthony Gelo for my wedding this past April and I don't think I could of found a better DJ. Anthony was very helpful throughout the whole setup process from music selection through the timeline setup. He has great musical timing and great crowd control. Anthony really made sure that my wedding had a great flow to it. He is also very professional during his announcements and does overuse the microphone like a lot of other wedding DJ's I've seen before.

My wife and I hired Anthony for our wedding after our first DJ fell through. We had initially hired a house DJ from our wedding venue to run the music, but we did not like our experience with them and found Anthony through craigslist. Anthony is polite, respectful, knowledgeable and is quick to respond to emails and phone calls. His prices and options are great, and everything is spelled out nicely so there are no ambiguous charges of any sort. All this made the planning process very pleasant. On the days of the meetings and the day of the wedding itself, he was always early and well prepared. He did a fantastic job with the actual wedding, playing the songs and types of music we had requested, playing the ceremony and cocktail songs that we had requested and being a good emcee. If I said anything negative about him, it would be nitpicking of the extremest kind LoL. I imagine we will be turning to him for all of my future DJ needs.

Anthony was great to work with before and during the wedding ceremony. His process for getting to what we wanted was simple and easy; he was very responsive; and at the wedding he had a very warm presence and everyone commented that the music selections were terrific. Anthony is a personable DJ who definitely knows his music!! He is so professional that my husband and I felt truly confident leaving our DJ services in his hands. He had everything organized from the moment we contracted with him. Even though we had picked rare music, Anthony had no problem getting it for us. From the moment our guests entered, they had a blast. Anthony kept them on their feet. He knew what the crowd wanted and he went with them!! We would definitely use him again and are so thankful for his services!!

Anthony was very professional. He met with us two times before the wedding to go over details, and he was always available if we needed to speak to him. He played the perfect kind of music for the mixed crowd at the wedding. There were different age groups and everyone had a great time. The dance floor was packed all night.

Anthony was very accommodating, easy to work with, and did a great job on the day of our wedding. Prior to the wedding, he visited us several times to ensure he understood our needs. On the day itself, the Church was delayed and we were stuck in traffic, and Anthony did a great job at the hall managing affairs for us and keeping our guests relaxed and happy. We absolutely recommend him to anyone getting married. One additional note, we asked Anthony to play a few sets of ethnic dancing for our parents and relatives, and he was very conscientious about understanding the music and dancing. We really appreciated that. Anthony exceeded our expectations in every category.

We used Anthony for our wedding all through, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was personable and had the right personality for the sort of DJ we wanted. He brought an assistant and did two setups - one for the ceremony, and another for the cocktail hour/reception.

From the time we first met, he understood what we wanted, and made great song and scheduling suggestions.

He was amazing, kept everyone dancing, took requests, and announced us exactly the way I wanted. He was fun and lively. Plus, unlike some DJs I've seen, he didn't sound like a lounge performer or a game show host. We were very happy with him.

Very well run company. Kept us in the loop for everything, worked with us on every aspect, and worked with us on music choices. Good price for the service, and in general, a pleasant experience. Would definitely contact him again if DJ services are needed.

Anthony was the DJ for my wedding and he was INCREDIBLE! Our guests constantly came up to us at the wedding (and still do to this day) to tell us how much they loved the DJ. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased. From the pre-wedding meetings to the last minute emails, Anthony was always ready and willing to accommodate our needs, and offered great ideas on how to make the night better. My wife and I are in the music business (not that it means much) so we may have micromanaged the playlists a little too much. But Anthony never minded. In fact, he encouraged us to be as detailed as possible about songs we love, and more importantly, songs we HATE. I never realized that making a "don't play" can be just as helpful until Anthony requested it. During the wedding, the quality of his DJ-ing was perfect. Music was never too loud or too low, and we never heard a lull. The proof was in the fact that people simply would not stop dancing unless food was being served. In addition to the music, Anthony was an excellent MC. As he made the introductions and various announcements, his emitted a warm and friendly personality that made me, my wife, and our guests very comfortable throughout the night. If I have the chance to work with Anthony again, I would do so in a second. Aside from being a professional and talented DJ, he is a great guy. He really will do everything he can to make your night special, and specific to your needs.
